"I'd love to take you on a date."

Harry blinked at the man, and then frowned. "You know I'm here with my boyfriend, right?"

The man—Harry had no idea who he was, some cousin of Ron's he assumed, glancing up at the red hair—rolled his eyes and brushed his hand down Harry's arm. "Really? A Malfoy? You can do much better than that!"

Harry bristled. "Draco is much more than just 'a Malfoy', thank you, and you've got no idea about our relationship or anything about either of us. You should go."

"Of course I know about you? Ronnie said you're basically family!"

"I've never seen you before in my life," Harry deadpanned. "But I'm also not really feeling the incest vibes you're now trying to give off, so… feel free to leave at any time."

"I'm just asking for a chance! I've read all about you and—"

"Then you don't know a single thing about who he is as a person and I'd thank you to take your hand off my boyfriend," Draco said, pushing the man's hand away from Harry's arm. "Anything you've read in the papers is probably bullshit, and he doesn't like clout chasers."

Harry snorted, pulling Draco closer. He pressed a kiss to his cheek, and then took the drink Draco had fetched over for him. "You're cute when you're jealous," he murmured into Draco's ear, just so that he could enjoy the soft flush he knew would creep over Draco's cheeks.

The man huffed and stomped away.

"Who the hell was he?"

"He said Ron was his cousin, but I don't think they're close," Harry replied, shrugging. "He called Ron 'Ronnie' and you know how much he hates that."

Draco nodded absently. "He… what was he saying, before I came over?"

"Nothing that I would have listened to," Harry promised. He knew Draco still got insecure about people not thinking he was good enough for Harry. Harry suspected he always would.

"Hmm." Draco leant in to press a soft kiss on Harry's lips. "I don't deserve you, Mr Potter."

Harry shook his head. "Of course you do. I love you."

Draco smiled. "Sap. I love you too."
