Author's note:

So here is how I have envisioned my AU of Rio. Basically, every character in this story has been anthromorphized like how you would see in Zootopia, except that everybody here can age like humans, eat a bit like humans and have similar heights like humans (birds can't fly here by the way). Kind of like 'animalian-humanoids.' (Or furries, if you want to put it).

Also keep in mind this chapter is set before the first chapter and after the prologue.

Anyways, I best be off. Hope y'all like it.

All the best,

The Red Rockstar

CHAPTER 2

"When Duty Calls…"

Eleven years before present time…

She looked around as she walked, seeing that her neighborhood in Minnesota was free from the relentless cold of the winter season – because the spring season had been given a warm welcome back in that year of 2010.

Everything became normal again, the trees that once had branches once covered in snow had now grown new leaves, the thick blanket of snow had disappeared which finally made walking easier and telephone wires, businesses, roads and other things began to work in full swing once more. Other things like school for instance, which she was aware of.

Back then Jewel was a rather young Spix Macaw in her early teens. She was a few centimeters smaller than average height, had a lovely coat of sky-blue feathers and wore her favourite outfit for the day – a blue denim jacket with a white shirt underneath, a pair of black jeans and converse sneakers.

As she walked back home from school, she could not help but feel a wave of relief that her area of residence was free from the rude clutches of winter. It seemed that everything became much more breathtaking.

And it all seemed so perfect.

At last, Jewel had finally ended her walk, as she found herself standing in front of her own home. It was a rather quite simple house, with a white exterior, chocolate brown roof tiles on the top and a garage for two cars on her right.

She sighed at the sight of it with a bright smile on her face, as she gripped the straps of her bag and walked to her front door. But as she did so she noticed that the garage door had been opened, and inside she saw something that made her heart nearly skip a beat.

And a figure inside there beckoned for Jewel to come over.

Jewel hurried over there, and as she got closer to the garage, she could finally confirm on what was inside the garage that seemed out of place.

It was a car. A sports car of bright blue with a single white racing stripe that appeared on the hood and disappears after the rear bumper.

The figure who stood near the rear left fender of the car, spoke out to Jewel, "Hey there kiddo! I knew you would come around at this time of the day."

Jewel looked rather astounded by the car inside, and she seemed a little speechless. But she replied nonetheless, "Wow… Mom, where did you get this car?"

"Well, what do you think?" Asked the figure as she was almost done on polishing the car.

"You stole it, didn't you?"

"No," said her mother as she laughed a little. "We bought it."

Jasmine Edison, or commonly known as 'Jazz,' was a tall and fit woman, who seemed to have an uncanny resemblance with her own daughter. They were both Spix macaws, who had the same color of blue for their plumage and had similar blue eyes. The only notable difference, other than their height and age, would be that Jazz had her hair feathers cut a little shorter than Jewel's.

She glanced over at Jewel and smiled, "I'm not sure if I've ever mentioned this, but ever since I went on that trip to Brazil with your aunt, I've always wanted to own one of these cars." Once she finished polishing the rear of her car, she tossed the cleaning rag she had onto the table nearby and joined Jewel.

"There is something about loving machines like these that's truly intoxicating."

Jewel listened with intent before going back to stare at the machine now inside her home. The car seemed rather boxy, wide and muscle car like. It didn't seem to have any front headlights which confused Jewel, although she didn't know that they were actually pop-up headlights. And its blue paintjob seemed to make the car have a much more menacing presence.

"Damn," murmured Jewel. "You seem to have a neat taste in these things." It all was certainly a lot to take in, kids her age were not used to seeing large mean looking street cars with bright colors up close, rather than finding them in crazy summer action movies or identical yet smaller toys. She certainly was going to get a lot of attention in school, whether she liked it or not.

In the midst of her excitement, Jewel noticed a small silver badge that was placed on the middle of the car's front grille. It read in bold letters, 'SS.'

"You know what car this is?" Said Jazz.

"No," said Jewel, who at the time was mostly unfamiliar to the names given to cars like this.

"That's a 1969 Chevrolet Camaro SS, one of my personal favorites. It's got a big V8 motor, the classic American muscle car body and a racing heritage."

"Wow… How fast is it?"

"I've been told it's around 135 miles per hour. Not bad really, but you can make this go faster," said Jazz. "And even if I won't be looking at its performance anytime, it's looks will keep me satisfied. Although the only thing that keeps bugging me right now is where your dad is with his car."

Jewel perked up, "Dad bought a car too?"

"Oh yeah," said Jazz, who then grabbed her keys and unlocked the old Camaro's door and hopped in. "But your dad wanted something else, and I think you'll probably like what he's got."

A large smile worked its way onto young Jewel's beak. Riding on fast cars in the first few months of spring? Cars that which would be owned by her family? She wouldn't miss it for the world.

Suddenly, Jazz then put her key into the ignition and turned it. It then the car emitted a sound that almost anyone would not forget. Their Camaro's engine turned on with a rattle and a growl, and all eight cylinders of its motor gave off an iconic rebellious and gurgling noise of the American V8.

No muscle car would be complete without a big V8.

"I might have a clue on where your father will be right now. You wanna come?"

Jewel stood for a second in excitement before she replied, "Yeah!"

Immediately, Jewel got in and hopped on into the passenger seat. And once Jazz placed her car in first gear and began to let her car roll out of the garage. And once she was out onto the road, Jazz shifted into second gear, making the car glide on in a glamorous fashion.

It was certainly a moment which Jewel would never forget.

Present time…

But it was only a dream.

A dream of a valuable memory.

A dream reminding of her first time meeting a machine, which was a moment where she would only scratch the surface of the crazy life that she would live later.

She smiled as she opened her eyes.

The morning light shone through the window on her left, letting her be accompanied by gentle light and a couple of shadows. The light revealed a large wardrobe at the corner on the right and a mirror which stood close by on the right wall and a couple of shelves stacked with paperbacks on the wall behind her.

She moved to her right and checked the time through the small alarm clock on the nightstand next to her bed. It was only around a quarter past seven. Hence, she slowly came to the decision of going back to sleep again.

It would seem that it would take a car alarm to wake her up. But she was woken up that day for a much different reason.

All of a sudden, there was the sound of a ringing phone bouncing of around the walls of her room. And with the intentions of going back to sleep in tatters, she picked up her ringing phone on the nightstand and answered it.

"Hello?"

"Hey Jewel! It's been a while. Are you back in Rio right now?"

"Yeah… Yes, I am."

"Cool! Look, I was wondering if we could come over at your place," said her caller on the phone. "There is something I could use your help with, you see. I know it's a little early and sudden at this time of the day, but if you want-"

"No, its fine," said Jewel. "You can come over. Besides, it beats being moody around the house for a while."

"Thanks Jewel, we'll be there soon," said her caller on the phone before disconnecting.

A couple of minutes later, Jewel walked out of her room in a black t-shirt and slate grey pants, on her way to go get something to drink.

And as she made her way to her kitchen, she soon found herself sitting by a table drinking a cup of coffee.

She was much taller than most women one can find, with sky blue feathers for both her plumage and eyes, and dark blue hair feathers on her head, she quite a sight. Yet she would probably consider herself a crazy hermit, given that she was the only one living under her roof right now.

Strangely even though she was more of an outdoors kind of a person, she felt like it had been a long time since she had company. Jewel smiled to herself, thinking it was odd for her to feel comfortable in her own isolation, despite the fact that she used to sit by a table along with many family members and other friendly faces.

She had moved to Rio de Janeiro for a long time now. And it was quite different than living in the United States. But somehow, rather than travelling the world and going somewhere else, she stayed. Because it seemed better here.

Then the doorbell rang, and Jewel made her way through her hallway and spoke out once she reached her front door.

"Who is it?"

"Jewel, it's us!" Answered one of the visitors outside.

Jewel opened the door, and found two other macaws standing at her doorstep. One was a scarlet who wore a blouse and flats and glasses, holding a thin file and looking very business-like. The second was a golden macaw, unlike her friend though, she was shorter and had chosen a more casual outfit. Although, she had an identity card hanging off of a small string on her like a necklace.

"Hey Jewel," said the smaller macaw when Jewel saw them. "Good to see you back again."

"Sophia. It really has been a while," replied Jewel with a warm smile. She then tuned to the scarlet macaw and greeted her too, "It's good to see you too Anna."

Anna replied, "Same here. And its time I start talking to more sensible folk like you."

"Yeah," smirked Jewel. "Come on in. It must be scorching hot and ridiculous out here."

Jewel led the pair over to her living room of blueish cream walls. There, Anna and Sophia sat down together on one couch whilst Jewel sat on the other, facing toward them.

Anna and Sophia both worked at the Rio's police department in the middle of the city. Anna works there as a professional detective, solving crimes and interrogating criminals. Sophia on the other hand, works there as someone who examines evidence, materials gathered from crime scenes and other such things related.

"Thanks for letting us come over Jewel, we got a small case that might need your help on," said Sophia.

"Not a problem," said Jewel as she took her seat. "Should I get you both something?"

"No thank you," said Anna, declining Jewel's hospitality. "Getting your help on this will do."

"Okay… What's the problem, then?"

The pair exchanged quick glances before, looking back. "There is someone who went missing a few days ago that I think you might want to know." Anna then passed her file to Jewel, before continuing, "Just tell us what you think."

Jewel took the file from Anna and opened it to the first page. And on the top left corner she saw a picture of another golden macaw, whom she recognized almost immediately.

"Sonny Sebastian… Hey isn't that your brother, Sophia?"

"Yeah, the thing is-" Sophia said but Jewel accidentally interrupted her.

"Went missing on Monday 11th…" Jewel stopped as she kept reading. "Oh."

"Yeah," said Sophia in a sad tone.

"You're kidding…"

"I'm afraid so," said Sophia, giving Jewel a worried glance. "Sonny has gone missing."

Everyone went quiet for a while, thinking about what had been last said. But when the silence had echoed too much Jewel spoke out again.

"How did this happen?"

"I'm not sure," said Sophia a little worried. "Before Sonny had left, he told me he was gonna go out for a few days and that was it. But after he left, he doesn't answer any of my calls."

"Did you find anything before or after he left? Anything that can give us a lead?"

"Nothing. He even left his room completely clean after he left. All except the furniture of course."

"Where could he have gone?" Questioned Jewel again.

"We have no idea, Jewel," said Anna the Scarlet in a little bit of a serious tone. "But the one thing we do know is that Sonny is – or used to - be a member of the same organization just like you."

"Madison Grids," murmured Jewel in surprise.

"Yeah, that one," said Sophia.

A smile worked its way onto Jewel's beak when she heard that. "I never knew he was."

"Why do you say so?"

Jewel then started to explain in a simple manner, "How do I say this? Madison Grids… is Brazil's very own Forza Horizon in real life. It's a large organization that sets up these crazy racing events on the street that are fully legal which can be accessed by a select few of racers and are usually held outside the city for peace and quiet. And most of all Madison Grids mostly cater to one kind of people that you don't usually come across. Car enthusiasts. For them Madison Grids events are heaven on earth."

"And you're a member?" Asked Sophia.

"Well… used to," answered Jewel. "I just need to get my membership renewed."

"Hmm. Sonny did have a car to modify to get into Madison Grids, a GT86 I believe," said Anna. "But even that went missing. Maybe he borrowed money when he built his car and sneaked out when no one was looking to find a way to pay it back properly."

Jewel thought for a while. "It's possible, but no. I don't think he would have been that reckless when borrowing money."

Sophia piped up, "He also said that he used to work in a small car workshop before he entered. Maybe that might help."

"Do we know which one it is?" Asked Jewel.

Anna and Sophia shook their heads.

Jewel laid back on the sofa she sat on and sighed. She never knew Sophia's brother that much. But Sonny was a decent guy. And a good friend. To hear that someone like him has disappeared gave Jewel a little urge to get up from her couch immediately and go find him.

"Do the police know this?" Asked Jewel. "Surely they can help."

Anna seemed hesitant for a bit before she tried to reply. But when she did, she spoke out in a perplexed tone. "Well… we did try to get their help." Jewel listened closely. "But there have been rumors that someone was playing rat.

"Recently, we some us noticed that some things are off in the police station. Something is always missing in the evidence room, something typed wrong when we look at some of the criminals in the database and some of the criminals are locked into the wrong cells and some are even released."

"So that's why you came to my help," said Jewel. "Because you need someone who can find Sonny fast, someone you don't want lose trust with…"

Sophia nodded.

She was once told that a saboteur had the potential to become more dangerous than an entire army. That's for sure. Someone who was planning to make the police chase their own tails would surely have a reason to do so. A reason that has a big motive.

"Who knows about this?"

"A few people, including myself. But I doubt anyone wants to point out fingers at each other to the point where our entire police force crumbles," said Anna.

"But I'm not a detective for the police anymore," protested Jewel. "You know I simply can't bounce in there, anyone would think I'm the culprit by mistake."

"We know," said Sophia. "But you might know all the garages Sonny could have worked at, the racers who might have seen him and you are an excellent fighter and driver. So we'll hire you as a private detective. Please Jewel, we've got to figure out what is happening before it's too late."

Jewel took a breath. Walking around Rio and questioning people without being part of the police force anymore, would be risky. And if the police did find her snooping about, it would put her in an awkward position. Also, she wouldn't have anyone to back her up when things go south. But then again, if she did decline, Jewel would go back on everything she once stood for. Because one of the main reasons that got her so far was simply the instinct to become a hero.

To protect and serve. That's one thing that kept her going.

Once making note of that fact, Jewel simply gave off a warm smile and replied. "Alright. I'll help. And I'll make sure to find Sonny before he gets hurt or he gets into more trouble."

The pair smiled back at Jewel's answer, with a sense of relief washing over them.

But then Jewel paused for a second, and spoke up again. "Just for the sake of curiosity, how do you know if Sonny's disappearance is connected to the racers at Madison Grids."

Sophia seemed hesitant once again, fiddling with her fingers a little. Yet she spoke up. "Well… I think I saw something last night… But I'm not sure if you'd believe me."

Jewel raised her eyebrows. Anna on the other hand, straightened her glasses with a push up the bridge of her nose. Straightening her posture, she turned and said, "Sophia, just tell us. You were the only one who saw what happened properly."

Jewel perked up, "Don't worry. Just pretend that I have seen crazier things and you're about to do your worst."

"You've seen crazy things happen before?" Asked Sophia a little confused.

"To be honest," chuckled Jewel, "I'd be lying to you if I didn't say I've seen a lot of lunatic things and met a lot of strange people for the past decade."

That made Sophia a little more comfortable. So, after she took a breath, Sophia began to tell her story.

"It happened last night, in the city. Us cops were busy out on their patrols now that Carnival is coming soon. And I volunteered to go on one of those patrols, since doing work on helping out on examining for investigations bored me…"

A few hours before present time…

Night had fallen upon the city of Rio. The lights had turned on and a lot of people still seemed to be about doing whatever they please. But even though was getting late, there was work to be done.

Especially among the city's night patrollers of the police.

Somewhere in the city, where the sight of residential buildings was rather frequent and there were fewer people, there was a small police car that drove slowly through the quiet streets. And inside that car was a rather cautious Sophia, and another officer driving.

"At least we are patrolling through here, where it's nice and quiet. Unlike somewhere dark and unlit," Sophia spoke out cautiously. "I wouldn't want to come across group of runners in cars trying to outdo one another."

The driver, a military macaw, chuckled and replied. "You're worrying too much, Soph. A little courage can make a big difference when you get into action. Besides, what's wrong with catching a bunch of guys in fancy cars? They would certainly get quite a punishment for breaking traffic laws and evading from the cops. That would give us quite a reputation boost."

"The fact that you Jose, are an adrenaline junkie just like them and the chances of you messing up and getting into a mess is something I can't doubt. Especially that I'm in the same car as you."

"So, you're saying that your life is on the line when you're in my passenger seat? Ha! Said the one who volunteered to join in," laughed Jose.

"I have my right to worry," muttered Sophia.

Suddenly, a strange high pitched engine noise echoed faintly from afar.

The pair went quiet when they had heard it. Until Jose broke the silence, saying, "I suppose you do… That might've been someone breaking the law, should we take a look?"

"I don't know. It sounded like someone in a loud car trying to show off. But why here?"

"I dunno, but I know what I'm doing if I see a runner."

The pair continued talking for a while. But unaware to them, something shifted in the darkness. An object of a sleek and curvy design that stood on four wheels with its headlights turned off appeared behind them from the right. And it began to follow them a little from a couple of yards behind them.

The pair then stopped at a red light in front of them and Sophia said, "Still, let's all pray that none of us get into an accident. Now that will-"

Somehow, by chance, Sophia the golden macaw had turned around and found the vehicle with its head lights turned off a couple of yards back. She then blurted out, "Jose! There is someone following us with his headlights turned off!"

"Where?" Asked Jose immediately.

"Right there!" Sophia replied frantically, pointing at the back.

Jose looked back and suddenly, the car behind them shot forward and went into the alley on the left behind them.

Jose then jumped into action. "We got a runner!" He called out, as he set the car in reverse and floored the accelerator, making his passenger yelp in the process. And once he yanked the handbrake after he turned the wheel, allowing the car to do a one-eighty turn to spin in the right direction, Jose flipped on the police siren and put the car forward gear again.

The chase was on.

"Ahhh! Jose, slow down!" Cried Sophia. But Jose didn't listen, he simply drove on in a rapid fashion. Their police car shot through the alley and gave chase to the unmarked vehicle.

The once he was out of the alley, the rogue turned right and raced through the streets with the pair following behind. But as they kept on pursuing, the rogue was beginning to make distance between himself and whoever is chasing. Jose knew if he cannot keep up properly, he will not be able to catch the one trying to get away.

"Come on," he spat, trying to concentrate on closing the gap.

Unfortunately, the rogue took another sharp right and disappeared behind another building. And when Jose and Sophia finally got there, he was nowhere to be found.

"Crap…" muttered the military macaw, as he turned off the siren and slowed the car. "We nearly had him."

Sophia, on the other hand was more annoyed than Jose. In fact, the pupils in her eyes had shrunk twice their own size after that. "Don't… do that!" She spat out.

"Ha! You looked like you've seen a ghost!"

"Jose, I'm serious."

Jose smiled as he kept driving on, "Alright, I won't do anything unreasonable. But if we find him again, I will go crazy again."

The gold macaw sighed as she began to gain her bearings. "Fine," she said understandingly. "Let's just try to NOO-"

Jose halted their car abruptly and screeched to a dead stop.

"What is it now?" She demanded, losing her patience.

Jose pointed up ahead. Up ahead, there were skid marks which led into yet another alley.

"Those skid marks weren't there before," said Jose quietly. Maybe it's our fugitive,"

"Are we sure that it's from his car?" Quizzed Sophia.

"It's got to be," said Jose. "He could be in there."

And with that, the pair stood cautious as Jose drove themselves into the alley.

Inside, they realized that the alley was much more spacious than they expected. And as the blue and white lights of their sirens illuminated the area, they both found out what they have been looking for.

The unmarked car stood in there. It had a black paintjob, which reflected the lights of their siren. And up close, it looked like it was a sports car of sorts.

Jose let out a low whistle, while Sophia exclaimed, "There it is, that's his car!"

"Boy, that's a hot one, too bad we can't find the driver though," said Jose. "He's probably long gone by now."

But as if on cue, they heard a sound from above, and Jose got out and turned on his flashlight. To his surprise, he found a shifty figure from up above on a ladder which lead to the top of the roof. Quickly, the unknown driver, scrambled up the ladder. And ran onto the roof.

"Stay in the car!" Snapped Jose on reflex as he started to climb up the ladder.

"To radio for help?!"

"No! That fugitive is mine!"

Once Jose had left, the young gold macaw sat in their car, waiting anxiously. She did not radio or help, thinking that Jose might not catch him. And she didn't dare get out of the car, just in case if she might get attacked.

The minutes went by, and still no sign of Jose. She thought about radioing for help. But she was not the sort of officer to operate on the front lines, so she couldn't make up her mind on her choices.

But it wasn't long till an anonymous figure quickly slid down from the nearby ladder. She thought he was Jose, but then once he came near to the ground. A voice rang out.

"It's him! Sophia, drive!" Up the roof on the right building, was Jose himself who looked frantic.

The figure bounced off from the ladder and onto the ground, and went straight for his parked car on the right of the alley. Sophia fumbled her way onto the driver's seat. And set the car forward. In the time that took her to do that, the rogue had gotten into his own car, and turned on his engine.

At the same time, both drivers let off their brakes and floored the accelerators. And both raced out through the other side of the alley. With Sophia chasing the rogue's tail like cat and mouse.

Out onto the roads, the rogue was beginning to put distance between Sophia once again. Driving a car at higher speeds was very different than driving one normally. Yet the young girl didn't give up.

"Come on! Come on!" She said as she floored it hard, and she soldiered on bravely, avoiding any other cars and obstacles if she had to.

They were almost outside the city, and Sophia knew that if she had to stop, then she wouldn't be able to get up to speed again to catch up. So, she made she sure that her feet were kept away from the brakes as much as she can. She then grabbed her radio, to send an alert to Dispatch.

But she would never be able to catch him that night. Because further down the road, a truck had moved itself across the road from the right and was about to block. Noticing the small gap on the left, the rogue raced towards it. Timing it carefully, the rogue put on his brakes and swerved his car turning right, and went through with ease. But for Sophia, knowing that she cannot make it, she had to put on her brakes.

Her tires screeched loudly and with barely a few inches from the truck, she stopped, just in time.

Opening her eyes, realizing what had happened, Sophia turned on the police car's megaphone and called out. "Attention sir, please move your truck immediately!"

However, another figure appeared on the left of the truck and shouted, "Move it yourself!" Then the figure vanished from behind the truck.

There was not enough space for her to drive around, then on instinct, Sophia got out of her car and hurried to follow him on foot. But when she got there, she was too late.

On the other side, she saw the black sports car, once again. It's passenger side door closing, and it roared out of sight.

Present time…

Sophia gave an awkward smile after she finished.

Jewel, blinked.

"So, what do you think?" She questioned.

"Well," said Jewel as she straightened her posture. "I was actually expecting more, but… it's nice."

The poor girl in yellow feathers crossed her arms. "I know, I should have radioed for help. Or maybe at least brought a gun with me."

Anna straightened her glasses as she interrupted. "Anyone who has not worked on the front lines might have done what you did, so there is nothing to be ashamed of here."

"She is right," said Jewel. "By the way, why did the guy get on the roof?

"Apparently, he made Jose chase him on some rooftops before breaking into a small apartment. None of us are sure what he took from the place, but Jose said he saw him grabbing something. Jose had also been outsmarted by him."

"Huh," said Jewel. "Some crook am I right? What else do we know?"

Anna then placed her file on the coffee table which separated them. "Not much. But Jose keeps telling us that the guy wore this creepy looking mask. Also we've yet to find something from the boys cleaning out the apartment so there is not much we can work on."

Jewel took the file and took a quick look at it before putting it down. Then she stood up and gave her verdict.

"I'm in."

Sophia got up too and replied, "Really?"

"Oh yeah. This looks like a job up my alley. And don't you worry, like I said before, I'll help to get Sonny back before he gets hurt or he gets into more trouble."

Hearing that Sophia grinned and gave Jewel a tight hug. To which she returned the gesture. Anna came closer and replied, "Thanks Jewel."

"Don't mention it," Jewel replied. She then broke the hug and continued. "I'll need to get some things ready. By noon, Ann and I can go looking for where Sonny actually worked at. Besides, I might know where to start."

"Alright then," said Anna.

It didn't take long till the cab Jewel had phoned come to her house. After the three exchanged their goodbyes, both Sophia and Anna left on the taxi. And Jewel waved as it left.

Even if she liked her solitude, that does not mean she didn't like seeing a few friendly faces, here and there.

After a while, Jewel turned around and walked toward her home. Her house was almost the same as the one she lived back in Minnesota. But it had reddish rooftiles and other accents, and it had a much larger garage.

And that was where she was headed.

As she walked closer, she could feel the adrenaline in her veins becoming more distinct. As maybe another little mystery might do her some good.

If a young and innocent guy like Sonny should go quiet, that meant he must have been walking alongside people that certainly are not likeable and mostly disagreeable, in other words, criminal types. So, she would need to sharpen up her combat skills, which Jewel can manage. Sonny might also leave behind something that's going to help her find out what made him vanish. So, Jewel took a mental note to pay attention to her instincts. But Jewel also knew that he also was a member of Madison Grids, and that she might have to go up against many opponents there.

And for that, Jewel would need a car.

A reliable and fast one.

And she knew just which one to choose.

Duty was calling, and she simply couldn't miss this opportunity.

When Jewel got to her garage, she then pressed a button on the right which made the door on the middle open. The door opened upwards, inside stood a car that boasted American Muscle-car glory.

A 1969 Chevy Camaro SS. In a blue paintjob with now two white racing stripes that went from the front bonnet, all the way over the roof and ending at the rear. It had also gained other fine details over the years now five spoked yellow metallic wheels and a small wickerbill spoiler. It even had unique side-exit exhaust tips appearing just before the rear wheels.

A ride she simply couldn't refuse.

"Come on old boy," said Jewel grinning once she saw it. "Let's get you up and running."

Author's note:
