The air was tense as Saitama and his guests were staring up at the Tornado of Terror and her captives. Genos was annoyed, Zenko, Metal Bat and Midori were worried and Saitama just gave her a bored look before looking at those that Tornado captured.
Beast Queen, Deep Sea Queen, Raptora, Ki, Kogane, Nori, Nyan, Tank-Top Girl, Jet Nice Girl, Swim, Zombiewoman and Vaccine Woman were all floating behind her and surrounded by a green aura.
"Hey, that's...who is that again?" Saitama asked.
"She is Tatsumaki, Class-S Rank-2, Master Saitama." Genos reminded him.
"Oh yeah. She's that kid that likes to steal my food." Saitama groaned.
"Saitama! She's got everyone, including my sisters!" Midori whispered in panic before she, Genos, Metal Bat, Zenko and Saitama were all surrounded by a green aura and lifted into the air. Saitama, however, was released and he fell towards the ground, landing on his feet and looking around in confusion.
"Huh?" Tatsumaki muttered as she stared at the bald hero in confusion.
"Hey! Tornado! What's the big idea?!" Metal Bat snapped.
"Shut it!" Tatsumaki ordered before she lowered herself to the ground and stared at Saitama, the man who was at the center of many, if not all, of the growing list of questions in her mind.
She wasn't the only one with questions.
'What do we do?! She's gonna kill us all! Well, not Saitama, but the rest of us are going to die!' Raptora thought in fear.
'I don't know what's worse. Tornado crushing us out of anger, or the Hero Association finding out and what they might do to us. Firing us? Or maybe they'll torture us for being friends with monsters!' Tank-Top Girl wondered.
'That's Saitama? That's the hero that those aliens and the monsters up here are talking about? He doesn't look like much. Still, can't stay and play with him. I gotta get out of here...somehow!' Nyan thought.
'Why are all these heroes and monsters being friendly? What does it have to do with this guy? Does that tall weed monster really think he's stronger than me? And why did he feel so heavy?' Tornado thought, her eyes narrowing at Saitama.
"Hey." Saitama spoke up, catching everyone's attention. "You mind putting them down?"
Tatsumaki's eyes just widened at his question before her glare returned in force, her rage building at the bald man's audacity to spoke to her like that.
"Who do you think you are?! You're only a Class-B nobody! You think you can order me around?!" she snapped.
"What's with you? All I did was ask if you could put them down." Saitama said in his usual bland tone.
"Listen here, runt. Apologize to Master Saitama for your rudeness!" Genos demanded.
WHAM!
"This is between us, you tin can!" Tatsumaki yelled after smashing Genos deep into the street.
"Genos! You okay?!" Saitama yelped before looking down at Tornado with a frown. "Why'd you do that? Do you always put people through walls?"
"Only annoying pests." Tornado answered. "Now I have questions for you, and you're going to answer them. Got it?!"
"Alright. Just don't hurt them, okay?" Saitama asked while pointing at the group above them.
"That's the first question. Why are you, and these other heroes up here, concerned about these monsters?" she asked before bringing Tank-Top Girl, Jet Nice Girl and Deep Sea Queen forward. "These three were acting like they were friends earlier after the fish here spat out some water monster. Kept telling the heroes to run away before it fled."
"Water monster?" Saitama asked in confusion before glancing at a disturbed Deep Sea Queen.
"It was horrible. My body absorbed it like regular water. I ate the fish monsters that were swimming in afterwards, but then it started to feel me up from inside my body. Made me violate myself!" she exclaimed before shuddering. She'd have hugged herself if she could move.
'Water monster? Fish inside? Evil Natural Water?' Nyan thought.
"Sorry to hear that." Saitama said to the Deep Sea Queen.
"So tell me, why are they acting all friendly?" Tornado asked.
"Isn't it obvious? They're friends." Saitama said as if it was so simple.
"Friends? What kind of crap are you saying?" Tornado asked in annoyance. "Heroes and monsters are enemies! We're supposed to kill all monsters on sight!"
"I know that, but they don't do that anymore." Saitama answered.
"It's true." Ki spoke up. "We're not very fond of most of humanity, but we don't attack people anymore. Not after encountering Saitama."
"Oh yeah? Why's that?" Tornado asked with a disbelieving glare.
"Because he's so strong that even thinking about hurting humans terrifies us to the point that we stop before we start." Midori answered.
"Oh please. You really expect me to believe that?" Tornado scoffed.
"Seeing is believing." Tank-Top Girl muttered with her head down, a far off and haunted look on her face. "There are times I still don't want to believe the power I saw that day."
"That day?" Nyan asked.
"When I first came here, I saw what was happening. I was ready to head straight the Hero Association before they convinced me to give Saitama a chance to prove himself." Tank-Top Girl explained.
"Convinced? What'd they do? Cry and beg?" Tornado asked with a dull look.
"Genos and another hero who knows about this put their reputation and jobs as Heroes on the line, while all the monsters were ready to turn themselves in to the Hero Association." Jet-Nice Girl answered. "With all that support, we decided to humor them and let them show us his strength."
"We had him redo the physical test the Hero Association has all candidates do. He destroyed all the tests." Tank-Top Girl continued before shivering. "But what really sold us...was when he threw that one punch at us."
Tornado was ready to scoff at this before she noticed many of her captives suddenly sported haunted looks and broke out in cold sweats, terror and fear radiating off of them in waves.
'They actually look...terrified.' she thought before glancing at Saitama's usual blank look. 'I can't see it. How can this bald weirdo make them want to shit themselves?'
"Hey, Tornado." Zombiewoman spoke up. "Got an idea. Why don't you test him yourself?"
"Hey, yeah! Then you can see for yourself why we're so afraid!" Beast Queen agreed.
"And how exactly should I test this baldy?" she asked with her arms crossed.
"Do what I planned I doing. Have a one-on-one fight against him." Metal Bat answered.
"Are you dumb? I'd kill this Class-B nobody without even trying." Tornado boasted, making many of her captives giggle. "What's so funny?"
"Everyone who's gone up against Saitama all thought the same thing. Each of them got thrashed without Saitama even trying." Kogane answered.
"Well none of them were me. I could flatten this whole Ghost Town, and everyone in it, with a thought if I wanted to." said Tornado.
"Please don't. I live here and I don't feel like moving." Saitama said with a frown. "But that does sound like you'd be fun to fight against."
"Fun?" Tornado asked.
"Yeah. Fights have been boring since I got this strong. But you're Rank 2 in Class-S, right? That means you're strong. So, why not have a fight?" he asked while raising a fist.
"Forget it. Stomping an insect like you isn't worth it." she said before aiming her hand towards him, ready to use her power. "Still, I need answers. I'm taking you and everyone else here to H.Q."
Her statements caused the others to become worried before...
"What's wrong? You scared?"
Tornado's body locked up, her eyes wide before narrowing. She slowly glanced over her shoulder at the only captive of hers that didn't look two seconds away from passing out in fear.
"What did you just say?" the esper asked in a low voice.
"You heard me." Ki answered. "I bet you don't want to fight him because you can tell that you'll lose if you do." Ki grimaced as the pressure on her was increased as Tornado floated towards.
"Care to repeat that, monster?" Tornado dared. Ki's smile slowly came back as she looked the Class-S Rank-2 in the eye.
"You...are...afraid...you...will...lose!" she said in defiance.
"Ki! Stop it!" Nori begged, not wanting to see Ki be turned into mulch.
"Yeah. Just because Tornado's being a wimp doesn't mean you have to rub it in her face." Midori egged on with a smile.
"What are they doing?" Zenko muttered to herself.
"I think I know. Play along." Metal Bat whispered back before raising his voice. "I'm with the monsters on this one. I've heard reports that you toss your sister's group around like ragdolls whenever you meet them. Yet here you are refusing to fight one guy? Even I'm ready to fight with him, ya chicken!"
"Uh, yeah. Yeah!" Zenko spoke up. "I thought you were supposed to be strong, but now I don't think you're all that great! You're a coward! A scared little pussy cat!"
"Hey!" Nyan yelped in offense before the area started to shake a little.
"That's it!" Tornado rumbled, her eyes full of murderous rage. "You all want to see me destroy this Class-B bald bastard so badly?! Well, fine!" She got up in Saitama's face, a wide grin on her face. "Shall we?"
"As long as it's not here. My house won't survive." Saitama answered. Tornado simply raised a hand that was glowing with psychic energy.
"Fine by me!"
Geryuganshoop was calmly eating Earth food, carefully inspecting each piece before eating, in a more quiet area of the Monster Association.
"Room for three more?"
Geryuganshoop looked to see Boros standing with her own food, the two smaller aliens behind her.
"Lady Boros! Nice to see you up and about." Geryuganshoop said with a smile as the three other aliens sat near her. "How are you feeling?"
"Much better. My body has fully healed and my strength has returned." Boros answered before the small red and furred alien creatures set out the food for Boros before going to their own meals. "I must say, this Earth cuisine the monsters make is quite delectable."
"I know. I especially like this 'ramen' stuff." Geryuganshoop said as she slurped up some more noodles from her bowl using her powers.
"I know. I can tell by you big ass how much you've been enjoying it." Boros teased while Geryuganshoop rolled her eyes.
"I've told you that my species desire females with large rear ends." the psychic alien stated. "The larger it is, the easier it is to find a mate."
"Am I to assume that your butt's sudden growth since we got here means you're looking for a mate yourself?" Boros asked, making Geryuganshoop spit her ramen out and onto the red alien.
"Ack! Hey!" it yelped as it wiped the noodles off his face.
"Please don't joke about that, my lady! There is nobody on this planet, or possibly this whole section of space, that I would consider being a mate with!" Geryuganshoop said in a flustered tone. "B-Besides, who would be thinking of finding a mate in a situation like this."
"Me." Boros answered, a smile on her face. "And I know the perfect male I'd want to have me."
"Not that it's any of my business, Lady Boros, but...who?" asked the little furry alien. Boros's smile merely widened as a certain bald hero came to her mind.
"...!"
The bowl of ramen Geryuganshoop had floating before her suddenly fell to the ground, her eyes wide before she looked up at the ceiling.
"Geryuganshoop? What is it?" Boros asked.
"I can sense a powerful psychic energy far off in the distance." she answered before swallowing the lump of fear in her throat. "And I recognize it. It's...her!"
Deep in an unknown location within the Monster Association, a beautiful woman sat on a comfy chair surrounding by trinkets, good furniture and incredibly large tubes containing different experiments.
She had a curvy figure, long aqua-blue wavy hair and thin glasses
This woman was Psykos. Psychic, scientist, ex-friend of Fubuki, and the true leader of the Monster Association.
"...!"
Psykos nearly spilled her wine when a chill ran up her spine. She could feel a strong amount of psychic energy being used somewhere. It wasn't anywhere near the City-Z Ghost Town, and that worried her.
'That much output could only be from one person.' she thought before closing her eyes and reaching out to one of her drones with her power. 'I'll send a drone out and observe from a distance.'
A monitoring room inside the newly upgraded Hero Association Headquarters was suddenly sounding the alarm as it detected a massive spike in energy from near City-Z, causing massive panic to everyone inside.
"WHAT'S CAUSING ALL THIS?!"
"UNKNOWN, SIR!"
"WHATEVER IT IS, IT JUST BROKE THE METER!"
"CALL THE CLASS-S HEROES! WE NEED EYES ON THE SITUATION!"
"4,997...4,998...4,999...5,000." Darkshine counted before dropping the absurdly large dumbbell he was lifting. "Alright! Now to move on to some squats." he said as he started preparing another dumbbell to aid in his routine. He was stopped when he heard his cellphone go off. "Hmm? Wonder what's up?" he said as he put the weights down and answered the phone. "Hello?...What? Where?...Immediately? Alright! I'll head there now!" he said before hanging up his phone. "Looks like it's time for my muscles to shine!"
Flashy Flash woke with a jolt at the sound of his phone vibrating inside his pocket. He grabbed his head when a throbbing headache hit before answering his phone.
"Yes?" he asked as he rubbed his head. He was listening to everything with a calm face before his eyes widened at a certain part of information. "Where did you say this was taking place?"
"In a rocky mountain area near City-Z!" the voice on the phone answered. "We have no idea what is the cause of it, but the scale is huge! We have confirmation that Superalloy Darkshine is heading that way! Please rendezvous with him and find out what is happening! Here are the coordinates!"
"I'm on it." Flash answered after listening before hanging up his phone. He took a quick look around the room before making sure his equipment was secured and bolted out the door. He ran up to the top of the building and stared out in the direction he was told the unknown anomaly presently was. "There." he said before he swiftly began running towards it. As he ran, his mind ran through what had happened before he lost consciousness.
He had encountered Saitama, Metal Bat and his little sister after they had spoken to a monster. He remember Saitama's speed from their brief encounter. Remembered...Saitama smashing his fist on his head when he tried to attack.
'How? How could he be faster than me?' he thought before his eyes narrowed. 'I'll have to think about it later. I need to handle whatever is happening nearby first.' With that, he ran full speed towards the direction the anomaly was before his eyes widened in shock. He stopped at the edge of of a barren valley to see a massive whirlwind of smoke and debris being kicked up, the landscape looking like it was being sucked in, torn apart, thrown out, smash into each other and sucked back in on a loop.
"What is this?" he asked himself before he noticed a figure moving nearby. He quickly dashed over and hid behind a boulder before looking out to see Genos pulling what looked to be pieces of a metal fence that were acting as restraints off of a small group of heroes and monsters.
"Hold still while I removed this." Genos ordered as he ripped apart the metal that was wrapped around Ki's head, allowing her hair free.
"Thanks." Ki said before using her hair to rip the rest of her bindings off.
"Genos!" Flashy Flash called out, gaining everyone's attention. "What's going on!?"
"Oh great! You had to wake up!" Metal Bat groaned from where he laid next to his sister, his body acting as a shield to protect her from the wind and any flying debris.
"What is this?! A monster?!" Flash asked, completely ignoring Metal Bat.
"You could say that!" Kogane yelled as she joined Ki in releasing the others.
"Master Saitama is currently fighting against Tatsumaki!" Genos answered.
"What?! Why is she here?!" Flash asked.
"It's a long story and our lives are on the line and shut up and wait for Saitama to win!" Midori shouted over the roar of the wind.
"Isn't this a little much?! Saitama's only in Class-B!" Flash stated.
"She was taking it easy earlier, but she's been amping up her attacks for a while now!" Tank-Top Girl answered. "Guess she's acknowledging that he's strong enough to handle it!"
Flash merely stared at her before turning his attention to the battlefield, his eyes trying to find anyone inside the vortex. After a few moments, he made out the familiar green glow of Tornado as she floated inside.
"For Saitama's sake, he better be able to!" Flash yelled.
"If you're worried about that young man, don't be."
Everyone turned at the sound of the new voice to see Bang standing near them all.
"Master Bang?!" Midori blurted in surprise before clamping her hands over her mouth.
"Master Bang?" Metal Bat and Flashy Flash asked in unison.
"...oops." Midori muttered.
"Nice going, dumbass." Vaccine Woman huffed.
"Why is a monster calling you 'Master?'" Flash asked.
"It's simple. She's my student." Bang answered with a smile. Flash looked between the two before glaring at Silverfang.
"Start talking."
"Man...this sucks." Saitama said to himself as he ran all over the place, dodging Tornado's attacks as she hurled large amounts of the land at him or pulled it up from under his feet. "What's with psychic's using their powers to throws rocks at people? Just feels like a waste."
"WHAT'S WRONG, BALDY?! IS RUNNING ALL YOU CAN DO?!" Tatsumaki yelled before ripping the ground open underneath him. She closed it after he fell, only to have the earth burst open from Saitama punching his way back up. "AFTER I BEAT YOU, I'M GOING TO WRING ALL THE ANSWERS OUT OF YOU AND EVERYONE ELSE DOWN THERE! ALL WHO KNOW ABOUT THIS! WHY YOU'RE DOING IT! EVERYTHING! AND WHEN I'M DONE, I'LL HAND YOU ALL OVER TO THE HERO ASSOCIATION! THEY'LL HAVE A FIELD DAY WITH ALL OF YOU!"
"Only if you do win!" Saitama yelled up to her, which served to piss her off. She then lifted large amounts of earth before crumbling them into hundreds of spiked pieces. With a flick of her finger, she sent the barrage straight at Saitama, who glanced at the attack before swiftly pummeling each piece into dust with one hand as he ran.
"Alright then. TRY THIS!" she yelled before using her powers to summon a twister around Saitama, stopping his movement as the debris pulled inside pelted him. She smiled before the twister suddenly dispersed, allowing her to see Saitama rapidly spin one arm before stopping.
'What's going on here? If he's not dodging my attacks, he's smashing them or cancelling them out. How? He's just a Class-B hero!' Tornado thought.
"Is it over yet?" Saitama asked her.
"NO! AND WHY AREN'T YOU ATTACKING BACK?! YOU PLAN TO DODGE EVERYTHING ALL DAY?!" she yelled. "THIS FIGHT IS SUPPOSED TO SHOW ME HOW STRONG EVERYONE KEEPS SAYING YOU ARE, YOU BALD BASTARD!"
"WOULD YOU STOP CALLING ME BALD, YOU SASSY MIDGET?!" Saitama snapped.
"WHAT'D YOU CALL ME?!" she roared with wide, murderous eyes, veins appearing on her face. She rushed down and blasted him with her power point blank at his chest, knocking him back into the area of the mountain that he'd destroyed in his spar against Genos. "You may be pretty fast, but let's see how strong you really are!"
After being dropped off by a helicopter at the edge of City-Z that was closest to the trouble, Superalloy Darkshine sprinted off to where he was informed the anamoly was located. He ran through the forest, knocking down trees as he went, before coming out into a clearing-
"AHHH!"
-and caused the group of heroes and monsters at the edge to scatter to avoid being smashed to death.
"Huh?" he said before he skid to a stop and took in everyone he nearly ran into. "Flash? Metal Bat? Silverfang and Genos? You all got the call too?" he asked before glaring at the monsters, making them either glare back or tremble in fear. "Need a hand dealing with these monsters?" he asked while cracking his knuckles.
"Hold on, Darkshine. The situation this time is different." Bang spoke up with a raised hand. "And besides, we have more pressing matters to worry about."
"Wait, what?" Darkshine said in confusion before the ground started to shake. "What's happening?!" he asked before he and everyone else saw the hole Saitama punched close in before slamming together, like a giant pair of lips closing it's mouth. "What was that?!"
"Oh geez. That must've been Tornado." Metal Bat muttered.
"I think that hero, Saitama, is dead." Nyan spoke up with wide eyes.
"I think you're right." Flash agreed.
"Think again~" Ki sang with a smile as they all watched the still glowing mountains
Tatsumaki was absolutely stumped at the turn of events before her.
'What is this?' she thought as she used her powers to push the two enormous pieces of land together, a thin gap between the two. 'That bald bastard was supposed to cry and beg for mercy after I brought these two near him.' She grunted as she increase her output, doing her best to close the gap. 'How?...HOW IS HE KEEPING THEM APART?!' she asked herself as she glared hard at Saitama, who still had a blank expression even as he held his arms out at his sides, effectively stopping the walls of rock from smashing him.
'There's no way this guy should be this strong! None of the other heroes in Class-S could pull this off! Maybe not even King! So how?! How can this Class-B hero be stopping my attack?!' she thought, sweat pouring down her face as she kept increasing the pressure.
Saitama, however, was completely unfazed by this. If anything, the attack was starting to bore attack.
"Hey? Are you done yet?" he asked her with a bored look. The dullness of his voice and the look on his face only served to aggravate her.
"NO! NOT UNTIL I PUT YOU IN YOUR PLACE!" she yelled as she decided to really try to crush him, her power flaring up and the mountains shaking as she tried to squeeze them in on him.
"Well can you at least use something else? I'm tired of you either throwing rocks or burying me." he said before he pulled his arms in and thrust them both out, slamming his hands against the rocks. In a split second, cracks formed all over the massive chunks of earth before exploding, sending small boulders in every direction caused by the force of Saitama's palm thrusts. Tornado barely had any time to erect a barrier to block the rocks flying at her.
"Uh...guys?" Vaccine Woman squeaked out, interrupting Bang's explanation.
"What?" Metal Bat asked.
"INCOMING!" the purple monster yelled. Everyone looked to see massive boulders flying everywhere, a good chunk of them heading straight towards them all.
Most of them sprung into action. Metal Bat, Silverfang, Flashy Flash, Genos, Ki, Kogane, Nori, Midori, Beast Queen and Deep Sea Queen all either slashed, smashed, or diverted the flying debris as it came towards them. Vaccine Woman created a large orb of energy before her that vaporized any rocks that touched it, and Superalloy Darkshine acted as a shield to protect Tank-Top Girl, Jet Nice Girl, Swim, Raptora and Zenko from being hurt, the rocks smashing against his shiny body and turning into dust. Zombiewoman had merely sighed in annoyance before the rocks smashed her to bits. This kept up for a few long moments until it stopped, the area around them devastated from the flying rocks.
"Whew." Darkshine sighed as he wiped the dust off his pecs and turned towards the others. "Everyone okay?"
"I think so." Midori answered, her hair looking a little damaged.
"Aside from Zombiewoman, it looks like we're all alive." Metal Bat said, knowing that Zombiewoman would just regenerate.
"Wait. Where'd Nyan go?" Kogane asked after noticing the cat monster had disappeared.
"Must've run off when the rocks came." said the Beast Queen before looking around the area. As far as she could see, nothing but rock fragments and damaged land could be seen. "I hope they don't try that again. I'd rather watch the fight, not be part of it."
"Speaking of fights, do you think it's over?" Nori asked.
"That's up to her." Ki answered as she stared at the speck in the distance that was Tatsumaki.
Tornado was baffled, her mind unable to comprehend what had just happened. One moment, she was trying to crush a single bald man with two massive chunks of earth. The next, she was defending herself from said man destroying them both and launching rocks everywhere. Now she was just staring down at him with wide eyes from where she was floating in the sky.
Saitama kept his gaze up at her, the same blank look on his face that he'd had since the start of the fight still there. He kept watching her even as she floated down to the ground and stood a few feet in front of him, her eyes still wide in surprise. All was quiet...
"Who are you?" she asked him. There was no malice in her tone. Just curiosity. Saitama merely smiled as he answered.
"Just a guy who's a Hero for fun."
