Link and Zelda head back to Kakariko Village, as they take the same pathway they took to Zora's domain, going past Zelo Pond, across Thims Bridge, as heading up the hill. They then come to Wetland Stable.

"Since we can't get our horses up to the hill, we will spend the night here and then take Rebone Bridge in the morning." Zelda said as Link is cooking dinner.

Link then put the ingredients in the cooking pot to make two prime meat curries as he gave a plate to Zelda.

The next day, they wake up, get their horses, and head to Rebone Bridge, heading to Mabe Prairie, they then sneak past a group of Bokoblins and make it to the ruins of Gatepost Town, as they see two people being attacked by two Bokoblins, Link then jumps off his horse and shoots an arrow at one of the Bokoblins to get its attention, The Bokoblin then attacks Link, but it dies after getting one hit by the Master Sword, Link then kills the other Bokoblin.

Zelda went off her horse and came to check on the two. "Are you two ok?" Zelda asked.

"Hah! If you think I was in the slightest danger, you need to have your eyes checked, lady. But I like your friend's style. Here y'go." The lady, Mina said, as she gave Link and Zelda a tough vegetable rosotto.

"Oh, ummmmm, thank you." Zelda said in politeness. "No worries. I'll get 'em next time for sure!" she said, as Mina and her brother, Mils, headed to the ruins, as Mils was looking around. "Ummmm, if you don't mind me asking, but what are you doing?" Zelda asked, but Mils was hesitant to say anything before he finally spoke. "Look, we are grateful of you for saving us, but whatever treasure is to be had here belonged to us. So don't go poking around. Not that anyone in their right mind would be poking around here for treasure to begin with." Mils said. "Oh, then if you're not sure that there is treasure, why are you still looking?" Zelda asked.

"My sister said that this is where we search, then this is where we search. Even if I wish we could just go home..." Mils said, as Mina got annoyed. "Hey! We're not here for a chin-wag! Hurry up and find some treasure!" Mina tells her brother.

"Ugh... Family..."

Link and Zelda then leave the Siblings and head to Outpost ruins, but quickly head through the east post ruins as Link shoots an arrow at the moblin. After taking out two bokoblins and a blue bokoblin, they then head to Proxim Bridge and go past a man named Brigo, who seems to be on patrol.

But then rain started to fall, as Link, Zelda, and Brigo headed to shelter and waited for the rain to stop.

Later, they stop at Dueling Peaks Stable to take a break. After that, they continued their journey to Kakariko Village, They headed to Impa's house until they saw Paya praying to one of the frog statues, as they went to talk to her. "Paya?" Zelda said, making the sheikah girl jump in shock, before she turned to see it was Link and Zelda. "Oh! It's you, Master Link and Princess Zelda. Please don't sneak up on me like that... Is something the matter?" Paya asked.

"We just got back from Zora's domain." Zelda replied. "Oh, ok, I'll take you to my grandmother then." Paya said, as she took them to Impa's house, and the old sheikah was sitting in her usual place, as she saw Link, Zelda, and Paya come in.

"Ah, Princess Zelda, Link, you have returned, have you found out what was going on with Vah Ruta?" Impa asked. "Yes, it was some dark glob monster that was blocking the gears." Zelda replied.

"I see, this is most strange." Impa replied. "There is also something you two must know." she said as Link and Zelda listened. "Some of our sheikah warriors had found out that the Yiga are gathering to their hideout." Impa said as Zelda thinks. "Now that you mention it, we have been getting fewer attacks from them, do you think they are planning something?" Zelda asked, worried that it might involved with Calamity Ganon.

"I do not know." Impa replied. "Any way, I think it's best for you two to rest, you've travelled a long way." She said, as Zelda and Link agreed, they went out before Zelda saw the other entrance to Kakariko Village, as Zelda remembered that she had an image of it in the Sheikah Slate. "Link, come with me." Zelda said, pulling Link to the entrance, with Paya following along, not understanding what they were doing. They then stood in front of the entrance.

Zelda gave the sheikah slate to Link as he looked at the entrance and looked at the image, He then had a realisation on his face as he had a flashback.

-100 years ago-

Link, Zelda, Roland, Cirak and Mipi head to the entrance of Kakariko Village, where Impa is there to greet them.

"Princess. I hope your travel is well." Impa asked. "It went well, Impa, Anything new on the Sheikah relic?" Zelda asked. "We found some more guardians, they're offline like the others." Impa said. "If we get more and control them, they can use them when Calamity Ganon shows up." Zelda said.

-Later-

Zelda and Impa are checking on the sheikah slate, Link is guiding Roland, Cirak and Mipi, with the three kids holding wooden swords, link showing them how to parry. wanting Roland to attack Cirak, as he did, Cirak moved aside, as his surroundings became slower, he then went behind Roland, using his wooden sword to hit him in the back, as Roland fell on the ground.

Link nod in approval, as Roland get's up rubbing his back. "Aww!" Roland said, as Cirak rolled his eyes, Next is Roland's turn, with Mipi doing the attack, Roland was ready to parry, but he stumbled, causing him to lose focus, as his face got hit by Mipi's wooden sword.

"again! Aww!" Roland said, as Mipi dropped her wooden sword and went to help him. "I'm sorry, are you okay?!" she said in worry. "Yeah, yeah, I'm fine." Roland said.

-100 years later-

Link then came back to reality as he gave the sheikah slate back to Zelda, with Paya confused, she then took Link and Zelda to the Shuteye Inn, waking up Ollie, who was sleeping... again.

"Ack! Are you... a g-gust? I suppose so..you s-scard me half to death.." Ollie said. "Well... we got regular bed and soft bed." he said, as Zelda thinks. "We'll take the soft bad." she said.

"Ok, do you two need one or two beds?" Ollie asked, making Link tilt his head in confusion, as Zelda thinks, before her face gets red, realising what he meant, as Paya blush in embarrassment, not liking the idea on what Ollie is implying. "Two, two beds!... please." Zelda said, trying to change the subject. "oh ok. that will be 80 rupees." Ollie said, as Zelda pay him.

-meanwhile-

At the Yiga clan hideout, Sheema, Nolo, Sooga and Spin are in a meeting as the Warrior of Malice shows up, wearing black clothes, with purple armour and a black and purple mask, with one eye hole showing his Malice eye.

"Alright, now that you've finished whatever youre doing, what is the plan?" Sheema asked. "Well, from what we learned, the hero has defeated the blight ganons, so we need to get into those divine beasts now." Spin said.

"What do we need from those machines?" Nolo asked. "Are we going to take control and use them against the hero and the princess?" Sooga asked. "Yeah, no, the Warrior of Malice is not capable of doing that. Besides, we don't need those robo animals, what we need is something more important." Spin said.

"Well, what is it then?" Sheema asked, looking at the Warrior of Malice. "What is it we need from them if it's more important than divine beasts?"

The Warrior of Malice looked at Spin before looking at Sheema. "The remains of Calamity Ganon." the Warrior of Malice said for the first time.
