[Royal Woods: twelve sixteen Franklin avenue]
As Lincoln was heading to the trial site of Verdant Cavern with the captain of Melemele Island, Ilima, things were quite different back home in Royal Woods, Michigan.
Currently the Loud sisters were getting ready for their interview with Katherine Mulligan, the local news reporter for Royal Woods.
Each sister was sprucing up so to say to look their best for their interview as they knew that they were going to be on live TV and they really couldn't afford to look stupid in front of everyone they knew and love as they would probably never live it down if they ended up screwing up.
"Okay... this dress would look nice... oh but this one matches my eyes."said Leni, who was having a hard time deciding on what dress to wear.
"Just pick one already as we're going to be late."ordered Lori, as she felt like the fashionista should make up her mind as time was of the essence.
"But I don't know what to wear!"complained Leni, and sometimes being a fashionista was hard as sometimes two dresses both look good on her and she couldn't decide on which one would best fit for the occasion.
"I'll go ask Lincoln for his opinion."said Leni, haven't completely forgotten that Lincoln wasn't even in the United States anymore.
"Um, Leni..."said Lori, who was about to go correct her roommate before Leni walked out into the hallway and made her way to Lincoln's room.
"Hey Lincoln I-oh my gosh! Guys! Lincoln's not here!"shouted Leni, because as soon as she opened the door she didn't see Lincoln anywhere.
"Leni, Lincoln is not in the United States anymore he's in that Alola place."pointed out Lola she was doing her hair.
"Oh yeah... silly me."said Leni, before she headed back to her room like nothing had happened.
"Geez Leni, you give a bad name to blondes."said Lola, as her older sister was the walking stereotype of the dumb blonde.
"Hey!"said an offended Leni.
"Guys! Let's just focus on the interview as mom and dad already forced me to take a bath and I'm not doing that again."said Lola, who smelled unusually clean thanks to the fact that her parents had to force her to take a nice long soapy shower.
"Lana's right."said Lucy wearing a black funeral dress, as she once again appeared out of nowhere and scaring everyone."This interview is going to be big for all of us so we cannot afford to mess up."
"Please don't do that in front of Katherine Mulligan."said Lola, as she felt like Lucy doing her usual disappearing and reappearing act was going to give the poor reporter a heart attack, and that would not be a good reputation for the Louds.
"I'll try my best."said Lucy, even though she thought it was ridiculous as it wasn't her fault that she didn't have much of a presence.
"Siblings, we need to leave in the next couple of minutes or we're going to be late."said Lisa, who was holding a giant clock to show the time.
"Almost ready, dude."said Luna, who was wearing a suit.
"Yeah! Just give us a few more clucking minutes. Hahahahaha! Man I'm good."said Luan, who was wearing a yellow dress.
"Okay, is everyone almost ready."said Lori, who had just changed into a blue dress.
"Almost."said Lana who is wearing a jean jacket, jeans, and a comfortable looking white shirt.
"I didn't really need any help as I'm always looking good."said Lola, who was wearing one of her pink pageant dresses.
"Well that should be almost everyone."said Lisa, revealing that she was wearing a green tuxedo as Lily came out wearing a light purple dress.
"Ready!"said Lily, has everyone found her adorable wearing her new dress that her parents got for the interview.
"I still don't see why you guys won't let me wear one of my jerseys."said Lynn, who strangely enough was wearing a red dress.
"Because you refuse to wash that one because you say it's good luck."said Lori, as she remembers she almost threw up from the smell before she had the force Lynn to wear something else.
"Whatever! Even though this is so is in my style!"said said Lynn, who found the dress uncomfortable to move around in.
"Let's just be on our best behavior guys as we can afford to disagree on camera and show everyone what happens when we disagree."said Lori, before Leni came out wearing one of her light green dresses.
"I I'm like totes so ready for this interview."said Leni, before looking over at Lincoln's room."I wish Lincoln could join us."
"But he's on the other side of the world having a vacation so we can't do anything about it."pointed out Lori.
"Yeah, it's not our fault he left us."said Lynn, who was still upset with Lincoln over having left without so much as a thought.
"He wanted to do this dudes. So we should just support our little bro when he comes back."said Luna, who won like the others wasn't mad at Lincoln anymore because of her conversation with Sam.
"Whatever."said most of the Loud sisters as they headed down the stairs.
"Lily on Luna side."said Lily as she went over to hug her third oldest sister.
"Thanks dude. I'm glad I know I have someone on my side."said Luna as she picked up Lily before heading down the stairs.
"Is everyone ready?"asked Rita, who was wearing a Rose colored dress.
"Yes."answered the Loud sisters practically in unison.
"Then let's get going or we're going to be late."said Lynn Sr, who was wearing a black tuxedo with one of his famous silly ties.
"I'm surprised you're letting Dad wear that, Mom."said Leni, as she knows how much her mother doesn't like her husband's silly ties.
"Well he's been feeling pretty down about the you know what so I decided to let him have this one so he would feel better."explained their mother as they knew that their father / husband has been down ever since Lincoln left for Alola.
So something that brings him joy like his silly neckties wasn't too much of an ask.
"I'm just so proud of you girls. Now let's get going before I start tearing up again."said Lynn Sr, before everyone made their way outside and headed into Vanzilla.
Once inside everyone place the blanket over the seats so they wouldn't get stained or anything as years of living and driving around the loud family has left the seats of the van quite stained. So with nothing else said the group quickly headed inside and sat down into their respective seats.
"Gaahhh!"said Lily as Luna strapped her into her big car seat.
"Sorry dude, I know this is Lincoln's thing but just deal with it for today."said Luna she finished strapping in Lily.
"Okay gang, let's get the show on the road!"said Lynn Sr, before he turned on the ignition and drove Vanzilla out of the driveway a few minutes later, after the engine had heated up just enough for the old van to properly drive.
"To the TV station!"shouted Rita.
"To the TV station!"shouted the Loud sisters.

(About half an hour later)
The loud sisters were waiting in front of what it looked like a stage as they tried to get comfortable in the seats they were in as Katherine Mulligan, who was sitting across from them was giving orders to her crew as everyone was getting ready for lights, camera, action so to speak.
"Alright, we are live in three, two, one!"said the director as the cameras turn to face the loud family and Katherine Mulligan, and soon the sign that said live in all caps lit up!
"Hello everyone this is Katherine Mulligan, local reporter for Royal Woods news. I am happy today as today I'm going to interview the famous loud sisters of Franklin avenue. These girls have recently been the Hot topic of gossip throughout the town because from oldest to youngest each one of them won a competition from a golf tournament all the way to a science award. Theses nine girls are all members of the same family, and I can't wait to see what makes them so special."said Katherine Mulligan, before the cameras focused on the Loud family.
"Hello everyone I'm Lori Loud."said Lori.
"I'm Leni Loud, and I'm totes so glad to be here."said Leni.
"Rock on! I'm Luna Loud and I'm ready to rock on."said Luna.
"Can't wait to cluck to this! I'm Luan Loud and I'm ready to make you all laugh."said Luan.
"I'm Lynn Loud and I'm going to be one of the greatest champions of all time."said Lynn.
"Nice to meet you all, I'm Lucy Loud."simply said Lucy.
"I'm Lana Loud, lover of animals and all things greasy!"said Lana.
"My name is Lola Loud but I'm sure you already know that."said Lola.
"Greetings homosapiens, I am Lisa Loud and I'm glad to make your acquaintance."said Lisa.
"Lily!"said Lily.
"Um, I'm Lynn Loud Sr, owner of Lynn's Table."said Lynn Sr, who looked a little nervous.
"I'm Rita Loud, columnist for the Royal Woods gazette."said Rita, who said that under the orders of her boss at the gazette.
"Well it is very nice to meet all of you. Now Lori, you won the regional golf tournament just the other day. How do you feel for someone who is this close to going to Farway University?"questions Katherine.
"I'm just literally so excited Katherine as I've been wanting to go to Fairway University ever since I've been interested in golf. I have an absolute passion for this board ever since my grandfather Albert, or who I like to call Pop Pop took me out to my first golf course."said Lori with a smile.
"Interesting? Now Leni, I saw the dress you made at the fashion show and I was absolutely mesmerized by it as it must have been hard to come out for such creativity."said Katherine as she turned to the second oldest.
"Well it was hard to come up with it but I managed to get some creativity through life and it inspired me to create that it inspired me to create that totes beautiful dress."said Leni, feeling proud of her accomplishment.
"Now Luna..Were you nervous at the shred-off?"questions Katherine.
"Well yeah as rock and roll is my life. But I knew with my family and my special someone watching me I could do it."said Luna, not knowing that Sam was watching the whole thing and was happy to hear that Luna considered her her special someone.
"Uh-huh. Luan, I got to say that joke you told at the end of the Laughapalooza was absolutely hilarious! How did you come up with such a creative and unique joke?"questions Katherine.
"Well sometimes I tell some really good jokes while I'm asleep so I record myself every night. And that's where the joke came from one night after having some delicious chicken nuggets."said Luan, before she pulled out a rubber chicken and squeezed it, making some of the people in the room laugh.
"Hahaha, good one. Now Lynn-that final kick into the goal is what brought your team victory. Now how did you feel when you delivered the final goal that decided whether or not your team would win or lose?"questions Katherine.
"Well normally I would say it was easy but I was pretty ding dang nervous as I was afraid I was going to make it to the game on time. But I managed to get there on time and lead my team to victory."said Lynn with a bit of a smug attitude.
"Fascinating. Lucy...oh, there you are. Now at the Junior morticians deathmatch, you managed to dig a grave so fast despite the fact you don't look like you're used to doing so much physical exertion? What's your secret?"questions Katherine.
"I have been digging holes for a long time now so I know the technique behind digging a proper hole the fast and efficient way. All you need his technique and if you master it, physical exertion is one of your least concerns."answered Lucy, creeping out some of the audience.
"Okay then...Lana, how did you feel when Bobby Fletcher gave you that bouquet for helping her win that race?"questions Katherine, deciding to ignore how creeped out she was by Lucy's comment.
"Well currently it's in a planter in my room being well taken care of by El Diablo, my snake, and Hops, my best frog friend. I would say I want to take care of it for a long time and hopefully keep it alive for the rest of my days."said Lana with a smile
"Wow! Now Lana, at that pageant when you twirl those batons of fire I thought this must be crazy. But you actually managed to do it with such finesse then even I almost shed a tear from the beauty of your performance. Were you at all nervous that you could have lost to Lindsay Sweetwater?"questions Katherine.
"Well Lindsay and I have been dancing the dance of pageants ever since we both entered the same pageant competitions those couple of years ago. I would say that she is a worthy rival but at the end of the day it is me who will be the star to shine."said Lola with her usual arrogant attitude.
"My goodness...Lisa, those mathematics you showed at the science fair were absolutely amazing. I mean I didn't understand any of it but from what the other scientists were saying it was clear that you are a child prodigy. How far do you think you will take the next step in science?"questions Katherine.
"I plan to invent teleportation by the time I'm seventy six."answered Lisa.
"Amazing! Well you girls are certainly talented individuals that I'm sure are going to be big shots in the future. Now, I have a question for all of you."said Katherine as she grabbed her nearby remote and turned on the TV screen that was behind her.
"Who is this young man with white hair?"questions Katherine.
"Oh, that's my brother Lincoln."answered Leni without hesitation.
"Uh-huh. Now I noticed that during each of you or events he was the one in charge of taking care of your trophies. But where is he as I don't notice him here?"asked Katherine, as she noticed that Lincoln was nowhere to be seen.
"Well... my little bro is currently on a trip on the other side of the world after he won a lotto near our house."answered Luna honestly, as she felt like lying to the reporter will come back to bite the family.
"Oh, I saw that Lotto on my way home. I was considering buying a ticket for that but I thought those things are rigged, but I guess your brother must be pretty lucky to have won such a prize as a vacation. Now, sure is he? Hawaii? The Galapagos? Aruba?"questions Katherine that she was trying to guess where Lincoln was.
"We don't exactly know as the only person who does know is a man we know as Professor Samson Oak."said Rita, as she didn't know where Alola was.
"Hmm... I think I've heard that name before as Professor Oak is known to be a famous zoologist who studies the unknown. He has quite an upstanding reputation from what I've heard, but he's not too much into interviews as it's rare for him to have ever given an interview. Do you perhaps have his contact information?"questions the reporter.
"Unfortunately no... as we've tried calling him over the last several days but it just says that he's busy. We have been in contact with our son and he appears to be enjoying himself."said Lynn Sr, as he could tell he was getting judgmental stares from people.
As it was pretty obvious that many of the parents in the audience were giving the Loud parents disapproving looks.
"So you let your eleven year old son go somewhere where you never heard of?"questions the reporter.
"Yes, but Lincoln really wanted to go and as parents we felt like we couldn't stand against him when it was clear he was passionate about where he wanted to go and why he wanted to do it."said Rita, and it felt like the gazes of the judgmental parents lessened.
As they could relate to wanting to let their children follow their passion.
"And why did he want to go?"asked the news reporter.
"That's... now that I think about it we didn't ask..."said Lynn Sr, realizing they never asked Lincoln why he wanted to go to Alola in the first place.
They were so caught up in all of the emotions they never asked Lincoln why he wanted to go to this Alola region in the first place
"Hey! This interview is about us, not Lincoln!"said Lola, snapping at the reporter for turning the attention away from her.
"Oh sorry, we shall continue the interview after the break."said Katherine Mulligan, before they went off the air.
"I'll interview guys again when you have a better attitude."said Katherine, before many of her TV crew went over to the nearby table to get donuts and coffee.
"Look at what you did Lola!"shouted Lori.
"What did I do?!"growled Lola.
"You caused our interview to be cut short!"shouted Lynn.
"Leni is the one who brought up Lincoln!"said Lola and her defense.
"Hey! I was just telling the truth!"shouted Leni.
"And Luna had to open her big mouth!"shouted Luan.
"Hey, watch it!"shouted Luna.
"Oh no..."said Lynn Sr, realizing what was going to happen and quickly pulled Lily away.
And not even two seconds later a fight cloud formed between the loud sisters as they began fighting one another, shocking the news reporter and the TV crew as they never expected the famous Loud sisters to begin fighting among one another so quickly! And in public of all places!
"Get security!"ordered Katherine Mulligan, causing some of the TV crew to go run for security.
"Haaaa... looks like we're going to get kicked out of another place... again."said Rita, who to say was embarrassed would be an understatement.
"At least Lincoln is not here to see this."said Lynn Sr as he was covering Lily's eyes.
As the father was sure that wherever Lincoln was, he was doing better than what was happening to him as security was trying to get the Loud sisters away from one another and separate them until they cool off and/or they are kicked out of the building.
Meanwhile... Lincoln appear to be in some kind of cave system standing in front of a giant creature that look like it was a giant version of a mongoose!
"Me and my luck."said Lincoln, as he and Rowlet stared down the creature.
[After preparing long and hard for the interview with famous reporter Katherine Mulligan, the Loud sisters end up screwing up after turning against one another like wolves. Now it appears they're going to be kicked out of the TV station, with the only good thing being that they didn't do it on live TV. But right now what is happening with Lincoln? Only one way to find out as the journey continues]
