-Author's Note-

Now, before I say anything, I would just like to thank everyone who offered support for me in these troubling times. It means the world to me.

I tried my best to have this done within a month. Got a bit distracted by family randomly showing up, which included a couple of nephews who loved to take over my things. Oddly enough it was my nephew who not only distracted me but he somehow managed to distract me with Goat Simulator 3, which was a fantastic game. That game literally took over my life for a good three days. I fully recommend it for a good laugh.

To the reviewer known as 'The killer uchiha', I'm sorry but he does have whisker marks but you picking up on a single line like that was stupid. Who cares if I said he had whisker marks? Naruto does have those marks! Nearly every author that describes him will use that description.

I just want to apologise to you all as you are about to read a chapter that is a bit slow in my opinion. I do have a reason things happen this way and it is a bit of filler in the end, but I got the important parts in and that's what matters. I completely understand if this chapter is a bit underwhelming so hopefully the next one will be MUCH better.

Just so you all know, I am concentrating on one story at a time. This time is was Broken, I shall work on Untitled next (Still need a title for that) and then Dragon of Lightning after. So you might not see an update for this story for three to four months, sorry. I do keep a progress report on my profile for you all to see.

If you see any mistakes, please let me know and I will do what I can to fix them. Any questions then please feel free to ask.

"Naruto! Where are you?!"

"We needed you!"

"How could you let this happen?"

"She's dead! All because you were too weak!"

"You should have just let them kill you."

"Because of you, we're all dead."

"NO!" Naruto screamed, waking up from his nightmare and sitting up from his bed. He was drenched in sweat and panting hard, feeling as though he couldn't breathe. His eyes snapped around his room, taking in his surroundings. Seeing that he was in his bedroom, Naruto shut his eyes. "Just a dream," he muttered to himself, trying to catch his breath, "It was just a dream." There was a small noise in the distance, catching his attention. Listening, he realised that someone was knocking at his door. Getting out of his bed, Naruto found a plain white shirt and put it on while glancing at his clock. It was half six in the morning, which meant he had gotten about three hours of sleep last night. Hearing the knocking again, Naruto left his room and walked through his living room to the door.

Imagine his surprise when he opened his door and saw Raven standing outside his apartment, a hand raised to knock again. Her hood was down, showing that she was also surprised, probably from the door opening suddenly. "Hi," she said after a moment.

"Hey," Naruto replied. "I wasn't expecting to see you again so soon," he commented while moving aside, letting the Titan in. "Not that I didn't want to see you again. It was just a surprise, y'know?"

Moving past the man, Raven walked into the living room while speaking. "Did I wake you?" she asked, noticing how tired Naruto looked.

Shutting the door, Naruto shook his head, "I just woke up when you knocked, thankfully." He sat down on the couch, which Raven joined.

"Thankfully?"

"Nightmare."

"Ah." Raven nodded at that, having had a few nightmares herself, mainly about her father. After a moment of silence, she asked, "Do you... want to talk about it?" She wasn't used to this, talking to people. Her friends were one thing but Naruto was practically a stranger or an acquaintance at the very least.

Looking amused, Naruto said, "Thanks but I doubt you came here to talk about dreams. You don't need to worry, I'm used to them now. Can I ask why you're here?"

As much as Raven wanted to explain why she was here, she instead asked, "Do you have any more herbal tea, please?"

"That's why you're here?" Naruto laughed, "I'm a little hurt that you're here for the drink and not my company."

Feeling a small smile tug at her lips, Raven said, "I prefer the tea, thank you. It was more enjoyable."

"That hurts," Naruto pouted. He then chuckled, finding this a little funny and Raven smiled along with him. "I'll be back in a minute. Need to get ready anyway." He stood up and left the room, leaving Raven to her thoughts as she watched him leave.

She had decided to return to Naruto's apartment early in the morning for two reasons. The first was that it let her leave the Titans Tower without her team being awake to question her about where she was going or who she would see. The second reason was to also visit her favourite tea shop but they had closed down for some reason. Her plan had been to sit in the tea shop, enjoy a drink, and go and see Naruto in an hour or two. But that plan was ruined by the closed sign. So basically she had nothing better to do.

"Ready to go?"

Looking, Raven could see that Naruto was dressed similarly to yesterday; jeans and a black shirt. "We're leaving?" she asked.

"I'm getting you your tea," he answered, "But for that, you need to follow."

Intrigued, Raven stood up and followed Naruto out of his apartment. Once he locked his door, he led the girl down the nearby stairs and out of the building. He then pointed across the street and Raven was astonished to see a coffee shop that she had never seen before. "The Fallen Leaf? I've never seen it before."

Walking towards the store, Naruto pulled out some keys. "Yeah, while my shop's a little quiet, it does really well. Better than I expected when I opened up a year ago."

"Your shop?" So not only was there a coffee shop that Raven has never heard of, but Naruto actually owns it as well?

Opening the door, Naruto let Raven inside before he shut the door and spun the sign to say 'open'. Raven was pleasantly surprised as the store felt cosy with its dark walls and furniture. There was a mix of tea and coffee smells, leaving a pleasant aroma throughout the store. She watched as Naruto stepped behind the counter and turned on a few machines as he moved around with ease, while also putting on a plain apron. While he was working, Raven took a seat on one of the stools at the counter. Before long, a hot cup of tea was placed in front of her.

"So, what do you think?" Naruto asked as Raven took a sip of her tea.

"It's... perfect," Raven admitted, feeling herself relax. She decided that this was going to be her regular stop from now on. Naruto could only grin at her words.

An hour later and Raven was now sitting at the back corner of the store, enjoying another tea while reading a book. There were a few more people in the store now and thankfully no one was paying her any attention as they enjoyed themselves. Glancing up from her book, Raven looked at Naruto as he poured a coffee for a customer. She had yet to tell him what she knew and to ask him about the energy she sensed but she was planning to. She just wanted to enjoy her second drink for now.

"Here you go," Naruto said, placing two cups of coffee onto a tray. The stranger in front of him said his thanks and took the tray to his table. Now that he had a quiet moment, Naruto took the opportunity to check in on his guest. "Enjoying yourself, I see," he said, taking a seat opposite Raven.

Marking where she was in her book, Raven set it down. "So far it hasn't been a bad experience," she said with a smile. "Where did you learn to make drinks like this?"

Shrugging, Naruto leaned back in his seat, "I travelled around for a while. Picked up a thing or two."

"Clearly." Raven took another sip of her tea before setting it back on the table. Now she looked a little nervous and Naruto could easily see it. "You were right earlier. I didn't come to see you for your tea. I came to you because-"

"Because you figured out what happened the other night," Naruto interrupted but he didn't sound surprised, and he made sure to keep his voice down in case any customer of his managed to overhear. When Raven nodded, he continued, "It was the only reason I could think of as to why you came to see me earlier. I still don't remember anything, though."

"I don't remember either but I learned some things." She wasn't going to explain how her emotions are sentient and how one of them helped figure this out. That would take too long. "I have to be careful with my magic. If I get too emotional, then I lose control and that is what started this. My Rage got the better of me when I fought Doctor Light. However, something else happened."

Crossing his arms, Naruto looked thoughtful. "What happened?"

Just as Raven opened her mouth to ask Naruto about the dark energy Rage had sensed, her communicator went off. "Sorry," Raven apologised to the coffee shop owner as she opened her device, seeing that it was a message from Robin. "I have to go," she said with a bit of annoyance. "Another bank is being robbed by another villain."

"You make it sound like it happens every week," Naruto joked but when he saw the serious look Raven give him, he said, "You're kidding. They really try to rob a bank every week?"

"You have no idea," Raven replied as she stood. "How much do I owe you for the tea?" she asked, reaching for her money.

Standing as well, Naruto shook his head, "Don't worry about it. They're on me today." Seeing that the sorceress was about to argue, Naruto continued, "Think of it as a thank you for all that you and your friends do for the city."

Raven nodded. "Thanks. I might be back for another drink at some point."

"And I'll be looking forward to it." Raven smiled at this before using her magic to transport herself to her team. She would leave through the door but she didn't want to get all the attention she usually got when she goes out in public.

After watching the girl leave via teleportation, Naruto sat back in thought. It was obviously important what Raven wanted to talk about and it sounded like it might have something to do with him. That last thought worried him a little but he pushed it away. No sense in worrying about something until he had all the answers. He did feel a little bad for Raven, though. She admitted to him that she has to be careful with her magic, and that no doubt meant that she had to be careful at every waking second. Taking the cup of tea that Raven finished, Naruto quickly wiped down the table and walked back to the counter.

As he cleaned the cup, along with a few other dishes, something out of the corner of his eyes caught Naruto's attention. Looking at the glass coffee pot to his right, he saw a woman with long dark blue hair and pupilless eyes that looked at him in sadness. She was standing right behind him, close enough to hear her whisper, "Naruto." The second she spoke, Naruto could see a trail of blood falling down from the side of her lip.

In shock he dropped the cup he was holding, the object shattering when it hit the floor, scaring the customers at the sudden noise. "Hinata!" Naruto shouted, spinning around but stopped when he saw that no one was there. His customers all looked at him but he paid them no mind as he stood there, trying to calm his racing heart. 'That's not possible,' he thought to himself, trying to rationalise what he just saw, 'She can't be here.' But he saw her in the reflection, he heard her whisper his name, and he could have sworn that he felt her breath brush his cheek.

So why was he seeing her?

Closing his eyes, Naruto took a shaky breath and managed to calm himself after a few minutes. 'She's gone,' he thought, 'They all are.'

Seeing the mess he accidently made, Naruto gave a small sigh as he crouched and started picking up the pieces. He hissed, though, when one of the shards somehow gave a deep cut on his palm.

The second Raven appeared with her friends on top of a building across the street from a bank, she immediately grew a headache as she heard Beastboy and Cyborg bickering about something pointless. It had something to do with pizzas but she truly didn't care. With practiced ease, Raven used her magic and covered their mouths and give a moment of peace. "I'm here," she said, trying not to smirk at the two struggling against her magic.

Robin, the team leader, was kneeling near the edge of the building. "Good," he said, nodding his head in greeting as he looked through a pair of binoculars. "We were alerted to the bank being robbed five minutes ago but, so far, nothing's happened."

"I'm guessing you already checked to see what's happening inside," Raven then said, looking at the building but not seeing anything out of the ordinary besides it being surrounded by numerous cops.

"They blocked out all the windows so no one can see inside. But the police did hear a lot of movement before we got here." He then smirked at the hooded girl, "I was about to send in Beastboy as a fly when you showed up. So it will help if you let him go."

She would honestly rather keep his mouth covered but the situation calls for Beastboy's help, a sentence she never thought she'd think of. Rolling her eyes, Raven cancelled her magic which uncovered Cyborg and Beastboy's mouths. Both were being overly dramatic as they took big gulps of air, as if they couldn't breath. "Were you trying to kill us?!" Beastboy shouted, waving his arms around.

"If I wanted you dead, I'd force feed you tofu until you choked on it and your stomach burst," Raven said, giving the green changeling a small glare.

No one said anything for a few seconds, too shocked at Raven's words. "God damn, Dude," Cyborg muttered. Beastboy could only shake in fear and hide behind his mechanical friend.

"I was kidding," Raven then said, trying to alleviate the situation. Granted, what she said was a little dark but it was a joke. "Get in the bank already, Beastboy."

Snapping out of his shock, Beastboy just nodded before shifting into a green pigeon. The team watched as he flew over to the bank and then to one of the open windows. Just as he reached it, Beastboy shifted again and turned into a little green fly. "Friend Raven!" Starfire said as she landed on the roof. She quickly made her way to her friends and brought Raven into a literal bone-crushing hug, "I could not find you this morning!"

Grunting as she felt her bones creak at being squeezed, Raven managed to push the happy alien away. "What have I told you about hugging?" she asked, rotating her arm to get the feeling back. Starfire just gave her a sheepish look, making Raven roll her eyes. "And I was busy this morning. Had some business to sort out."

"What business?" Cyborg asked, unknowingly beating Robin to the question. The Boy Wonder looked interested as he listened in while watching the bank.

"Personal business," Raven answered with a sharp look. Her private life was going to stay private, even from her friends. "There's the idiot," she said, changing the topic and pointing to the green pigeon flying towards them.

Beastboy flew over and changed back to normal as he landed on the roof. He looked worried and crazy, well more crazy than usual, as he pointed at the bank. "Dudes! You're not gonna believe this!" Seeing that they were waiting for him to explain, he continued, "There's no one there!"

"... Okay, try explaining that," Robin said with a raised eyebrow.

The doors to the bank burst open as the Titans ran in with their weapons and powers ready. But, just as Beastboy had said, the bank was completely empty. "This doesn't make any sense," Robin said out loud. "We were watching the exits. There was no other way out."

"There's no one on my sensors," Cyborg said while looking at the screen on his arm. "It's just us in here." It was eerily silent for a bank. Each step they made echoed in the room they were in.

"Cyborg, you and I will check the security room and see if we can find some answers on the monitors," Robin ordered after a moment of thinking. "Raven, you take Starfire and Beastboy. I want to know if anything was actually taken."

With each Titan nodding at their leader, the team split up into the two groups. Every hallway they walked down and every room they passed was completely deserted. If it wasn't for the random warm cup of coffee then they would have believed that no one had been in this bank for ages. "So, what are we thinking?" Cyborg asked, striking up a conversation as they neared the security room.

"About the situation?" Robin asked back to clarify. "Hard to tell now, we'll know enough when we check the camera's... But I'm guessing secret tunnel or something. It's the only way I can think of for everyone to vanish like this."

That made sense to Cyborg. "Could work. I figured alien invasion but there was nothing in the atmosphere." They reached a large metal door with a keypad by its side. Seeing that it needed a passcode, Cyborg took off the faceplate and hooked himself up to the wires. "This will just take a second..."

Carefully looking around, Robin narrowed his eyes. He recognised the feeling he was getting, the feeling that someone was watching him. It was an instinct that Batman drilled into him when he was first taught. "Hey, Cy? Do you see anything on your sensors?" he asked but highly doubted it.

Looking at the brightly coloured hero, Cyborg checked the screen on his arm and pressed a few buttons. "Other than you, me, and the others, I've got nothing." There was a ping and Cyborg looked at the door with a grin, "Alright, I'm in." Cyborg went in first but Robin stayed out in the hall for a few seconds, staring at the corridors for a few seconds before following his friend. "Just like the rest of the building, this place is empty."

"Lets just check the cameras already," Robin ordered. "I don't think we are alone here."

"What if everyone here turned out to be invisible aliens that are just walking around us?"

"Shut up."

"Ooh! What about a secret tunnel that's somewhere in the building and all the bank people are waiting at the end?"

"Shut up."

"Friend Raven, you seem to be on the edge. Is everything alright?"

The headache that appeared when she showed up to help her team felt more like a migraine right at this moment. Raven blamed it on Beastboy as he had yet to stop talking since the team split up. Starfire was just too innocent to put the blame on. "I'm fine, Starfire," Raven answered. The three were walking down a hallway, well she and Beastboy were walking while Starfire was floating next to them.

"Why did you answer Star when I've been asking you questions?!" Beastboy asked loudly, moving into Raven's personal space.

With barely a thought, Raven's magic encased Beastboy and through him back down the hall they walked down. "Because she annoys me a lot less," Raven answered as if it was obvious, uncaring if the boy heard her or not.

Every room they checked seemed fine. Nothing was out of order that they could tell. Nothing was broken and the paperwork was all sorted neatly on every desk. Beastboy even turned himself into a bloodhound and started sniffing around but, judging by the sad whining noise he made every so often, he could detect nothing out of the ordinary. Pulling out her communicator, Raven flipped it open and called Robin. "We've found nothing so far. Have you or Cyborg discovered anything?"

"No," Robin replied through the device. "The security system's been tampered with so there's no recordings at all. Cyborg's trying to recover some of the data but it's not looking good."

Raven frowned at that. Whoever's behind what happened here certainly knows how to cover their tracks. "Okay, we'll keep looking. I'll let you know when we've checked the vault."

"Be careful," Robin warned, "I can't shake the feeling that someone's watching us."

"Understood." Raven pocketed her communicator with a sigh. Why couldn't things just be simple? Was that too much to ask? Thankfully they were nearing the banks vault so, as long as nothing goes wrong, this shouldn't last any longer than it should. "Come on," she said, getting her friends attention, "We just need to check the vault and then we can regroup."

She wondered if Robin was just being paranoid about feeling as though someone was watching. While it was possible, as well as likely, that still didn't mean he was right. She couldn't sense anyone else in the building other than her friends so they should be alone.

When they reached the vault, Beastboy gave an impressed whistle as he gazed at the large circular metal door that you'd see in most movies. "Just imagine how much money's in there," he said, drooling at the thought of all that cash and wishing he could have it. He liked to think that if he was a villain, he'd be rich by now and was able to beat any hero that comes after him.

Starfire walked up to the door and examined it. "It is locked?" she asked, unable to tell if it is or not as she gazed at the combination dials and the handle in confusion.

"One way to find out," Raven said as she grabbed the handle. To her and the others surprise, the handle moved and there was a loud 'click'. Thankfully it was a modern bank so the door started moving by itself, forcing Raven and the others to move out of the way. The three then looked inside the vault and widened their eyes. Without looking away, Raven took out her communicator again and called Robin.

"Raven? Is everything okay?"

"I know why no one's here," she answered after a second. "There's a tunnel inside the vault and all the money's been taken."

She was telling the truth and, not even a minute later, Robin and Cyborg appeared to see that for themselves. There was a literal tunnel in the vaults floor and every shelf and case was empty. There wasn't a single coin or note left behind. "What could have done this?" Robin asked, examining the tunnel. He had already checked some spots inside the vault and found nothing that could help.

"Definitely a machine," Cyborg answered, pointing out some markings on the side of the tunnel. "There are footprints as well but there are dozens of them. Probably from all the bank employees."

Beastboy, as the bloodhound again, sniffed around. "I've got their scent!" he announced when he turned back to normal.

Hearing this, Robin immediately went into 'Leader-Mode!' as he pointed at the tunnel. "Beastboy lead the way! We'll follow your nose!"

'I think I'd rather dive into a pile of broken glass and salt,' Raven thought to herself but she too followed after her team. They were quickly met with darkness and could see nothing until Robin and Cyborg turned on flashlights and Starfire made her hand glow green. It was more than enough light to guide them. "Cyborg, did you manage to get something from the security office?" Raven asked.

Glancing at his friend, Cyborg answered, "I got into the recordings and saw everything from this morning. But the camera just stops working about a minute before the police were alerted to whatever happened. That was five minute before they called us."

"We only had a quick look before you found this tunnel," Robin continued, "But we didn't see anything out of the ordinary. We'll check it again later when we're out of here."

The tunnel didn't last much longer as they came across a ton of rubble as well as an opening in a wall. Going through it, the Titans now found themselves in Jump Cities sewer system. "Why is it always sewers?" Beastboy asked out loud when he turned back to normal. "It always smells so nasty down here!"

"Then you should feel at home," Raven said without missing a beat.

They continued walked down the sewers, unsure what to expect as nothing seemed out of the ordinary. "Do you guys hear that?" Robin asked after a minute of walking. They stopped and listened carefully, only just able to hear a noise that sounded like someone was talking loudly.

"I'm getting movement on my scanners," Cyborg said as he looked at his arm. "I'm getting more than a dozen movements actually."

"I believe they are up ahead," Starfire said quietly as they neared a corner. Peeking around the corner, the team were very confused when they saw the bank employees all moving about as they packaged the money that was stolen into wooden crates and then into a white van. "I do not understand," Starfire admitted, "Did the people that work at the bank steal from themselves?"

Cyborg was the first to answer. "It looks like it," he said, sounding unsure himself.

"They're being controlled," Raven said with narrowed eyes. She continued as they others looked at her, "Someone is using magic to control them all. I can sense the same type of magic on each of them."

Looking back, Robin did notice that each bank employee were moving about in a zombie-like state. "Can you tell who's controlling them and where they are?" he asked. He couldn't see anyone acting differently but there may be someone hiding from their vantage point.

Concentrating, Raven looked at each employee with a frown. So far no one was standing out. They each looked like regular people and she could sense only a miniscule amount of magic in each of them, which was the spell used on them. "There!" she said, pinpointing the source of the magic. The person that cast it was sitting in the drivers seat of the van, which explains why they couldn't see them.

"Let's go then," Robin said, "Remember, they're just civilians so be careful."

"Come on, come on!" the man in the drivers seat muttered to himself, impatiently drumming his fingers on the steering wheel. Keith Penman, who was a bit of an chubby man with thin short hair and black glasses, had the weirdest day of his life yesterday. He had always been a man that blended into the background, never noticeable and always ignored. He worked at the bank and has had the same job for nearly ten years now and, while he was good at his job, he hated it at the same time.

So imagine his surprise when a beautiful woman with shoulder length brown hair, sat at his cubicle. He was convinced she was meant to meet with someone else and tried to tell her so but then she just said his full name as well as other information that she should not have known. She then started talking about his life; how he lived alone in a rundown apartment, no family or relatives and next to no friends, how his life was just boring. Hearing it like that was just depressing for Keith and he demanded to know how she knew all this and why she was telling him.

But, instead of answering, the woman just smiled and placed a small wooden box in front of Keith and walked away. It was so strange for Keith that he just sat in his chair for another minute. He wasn't even sure what to do at that moment until he looked at the box in front of him. Curiosity getting the better of him, he opened it and saw a red jewel necklace and a small note. All the note said was to wear the jewel and he will then have control.

Of course he didn't believe it, thinking that it was just one of his idiot co-workers messing with him again. They loved doing that. So imagine his surprise when he put it on and said to one of them to get him a coffee, only for them to do just that! It was mind-boggling! He tried it again with different people and different tasks and they all did it without question! And they never remembered! It didn't take him long to realise he had the perfect opportunity to do something he had always wanted to do.

Rob the bank! Rob the bank that always refused to give him the promotion or the raise he deserved!

So, after work yesterday, he went out and found a construction site. He told a few workers there to go into the sewers with their machines and dig a hole to the bank safe. He also made sure to tell them to return to their construction site when they were done. Then, this morning, he went to every employee that was in today and told them to close the bank and to follow him to the vault and take everything inside. He also made sure to tell the security guard to erase the recordings.

And now here he was, waiting for his brain-washed co workers to finish putting all the money into the van he rented. They had to act fast though as one of the alarms was accidently triggered by one of them. So the police were waiting outside the bank. Good thing he had all the windows blocked out, that should buy him a few minutes. At least the Teen Titans weren't here. He hated watching a bunch of teenagers playing hero on the news constantly.

There was a knocking on the window to his left. "Are you idiots done yet?!" he said, rolling down the window and shouting out to, what he liked to call, his minions. Imagine his shock and horror when he saw the Titans surrounding his van. His minions were still packing away without a care. "Oh shit," he muttered.

"We're gonna give you one chance," Robin said as he cracked his knuckles to show how serious he was. "Get out with your hands up and come quietly or..."

Gulping, Keith had to ask, "O-Or what?"

"Or we'll beat you and throw you in prison!" Beastboy answered, also cracking his knuckles but doing it in a way that seemed less impressive.

"Minions attack!" Keith shouted in a panic before looking Beastboy in the eyes, "And you protect me!" Taking the handbrake off, Keith slammed his foot down on the accelerator.

The van drove off before the Titans could do anything. Growling, Robin began his orders, "Titan's go-" he was interrupted as Beastboy turned into a gorilla and grabbed him. "Hey! Let go!" Instead of doing that, Beastboy just began spinning him around by his cape, "Guys help me!"

"Little busy!" Cyborg shouted, pulling one of the controlled bank workers off of him that tried to grab hold. "Snap out of it BB! That guys getting away!"

"I've got him!" Raven announced as she flew off after him. She knew her friends could handle themselves and that they wouldn't hurt the innocent workers. Beastboy might prove to be a challenge but if she could stop the spell that guy was making then everything should fix itself. Flying a bit faster, Raven easily spotted a white van shooting down the road while dodging cars it nearly hit.

It would have been easy to just fly down and grab the vehicle with her magic but, with the way he was driving, the guy was forcing others to lose control when they avoid him. So Raven was forced to stop others from crashing into each other or random civilians walking about. "Azarath Metrion Zinthos!" Raven chanted, ,having enough of chasing this guy.

Her magic managed to reach the guys van and encase it while lifting it into the air. Sighing that all the chaos has stopped, Raven floated down and opened the door. Turning the van on its side, she shook it a few times which caused the man to fall out and hit the ground. "Give up already," she said, floating down.

"O-Okay!" the man shouted in defeat. "You win! Just don't hurt me!"

Apparently the man was a bit of a coward. "Undo your spell and release everyone you're controlling!" Raven said with a frown.

"I-I don't know how!" the man admitted as he pulled out the necklace from his shirt. "I just got this thing yesterday! I don't know how to control it!"

Landing on the ground, Raven stomped to the whimpering man who closed his eyes as he knew he was going to get punched. However, Raven just snatched the necklace from him. Her frown grew more as she examined it. "This necklace..." she said before glaring at the man, "Where did you get this?" Still scared of the dark Titan, Keith told her everything. He told her about the strange woman yesterday and how she knew things about him and how she didn't say anything else before leaving while also leaving him this necklace. Grabbing hold of the chain of the necklace, Raven gave a small grunt as she pulled and snapped it, which also caused the red gem to turn black.

Not even ten seconds later and Raven's communicator went off. Answering it, she heard Cyborg, "Raven? Did you catch the guy?"

"Yeah, I got him," she answered. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw Keith try to sneak away. Waving her hand, Keith was encased in her magic and thrown into a nearby dumpster. Judging by his screams, it was still full of something horrid. "Is everything okay on your end? Is Beastboy still going crazy?"

"Everything's good now," Cyborg answered, making Raven sigh in relief. "All the bank workers have no idea what's going on. The last thing they all remember is walking into work this morning. Even Beastboy doesn't remember anything after that guy took control."

As long as everyone was okay, that was the main thing. "I stopped the spell. It was from a necklace the guy was wearing. Listen, I explain more when I'm back with you and the others but you need to know that someone handed the guy the necklace. He doesn't have the capabilities of doing this alone."

You could hear Cyborg frowning from the way he spoke. "Which means someone else caused all this to happen. Alright, I'll let Robin know. We'll see you at the Tower after we get everything sorted here, alright?"

"Okay. I'll you all there." Raven hung up and put her communicator away before looking at the now depowered necklace. Every trace of magic was gone from it so now it was completely useless. But it was still powerful magic, one she didn't recognise. And that was what worried her.

In another part of the city, somewhere completely secret, a lone man sat on a throne like chair as his one eyes gazed at the many monitors before him. His eye looked at each image, showing the Teen Titans in action as they moved through the bank and then the sewers and then to Raven chasing after Keith in the van. The final image was of Raven holding the necklace before it was depowered by her.

"Interesting," he muttered to himself, leaning back into his chair.
