Section 1: The Resurgence
13 years have passed with the Empire becoming a faded memory of the past with the New Republic taking charge in 6 ABY. The armies of the New Republic with the aid of Luke's New Jedi Order have destroyed the forces of the Empire reducing them to a few holdout worlds that have become irrelevant.
Luke has become a Jedi Master and taken over the Altisian Jedi within 7 ABY when the Elderly Djinn passed away. He reforged the group into the New Jedi Order with the group now having over 350 members by the current day which is still small compared to the original Jedi Order's 10,000 members.
Luke managed to find the Codex of Tython regaining all the knowledge of the Jedi as well as uncovering the location of the Jedi homeworld Tython.
After finding the planet Luke has set up the New Jedi Order's main temple here on the planet while having the old Jedi Ship now dubbed Jedi's Beacon go across the galaxy to give Padawans and young Knights worldly experiences aiding in helping people within the New Republic and anyone who needs their help.
The main temple complex on Tython is a large beautiful blue marble complex filled with Masters, Knights, and Padawan training to fight a new threat on the horizon.
Luke and Mara are in their living space within the temple at the very top of the temple complex. Luke is in bed for he is staring at the ceiling with him holding his brow. "That memory, it's been so long since those days," Luke said with a smile on his face remembering his old mentor.
"Morning honey," Made Jade Skywalker said in a sweet tone as he looks up to see a small curvaceous flaming haired woman appearing at the doorway of her bedroom.
"Morning Dear," Luke said as he looks upon his lovely wife he has been with for over a decade as they were married on 9 ABY. He looks at his wife who looks pretty good as she is wearing a green nightgown that matches her emerald eyes as well as clinging to her lovely curves. "You look fantastic," Luke said.
"Only for your eyes, Farm boy," she said using his pet name in a soothing tone to curl up her nice red lips she goes up to him to give him a short passionate kiss with him returning it. "Watch it, Luke. Giving in to your passions will lead you to the Dark Side," she said in a teasing tone as he smiled at her joke.
"You are teasing me now," he said as Mara utters a grin on her lips.
"It's fun, so what were you dreaming about?" she asked sitting beside her husband.
"Well, I was thinking about my mentor and the Jedi of old like Yoda and my father," Luke said.
"You miss them?" she asked in a comforting tone of voice.
"Yeah, sometimes but I have you and the others. I can manage," Luke said holding onto her hand making Mara's heart feel fuzzy and her cheeks feel warm and red highlighting her freckles.
"Oh Luke, you always get me with that sweet guy act," Mara said.
"I am just being me," he said simply.
"Okay, I am going to make breakfast. Get your sleepyhead out of bed," Mara said as she goes off further into their living quarters.
Luke spreads out his arms to let out a big yawn for he gets out of bed to be in his green pajama shirt and pants along with white slippers. He goes into the living room to see the screen projecting the holonet news broadcast.
"Well, today is the day where it's been 5 years since the Imperial Remnant was defeated ending the Galactic Civil War. The Imperial Remnant has become a non-issue while the New Republic has grown strong in terms of planetary systems, military forces, and growing Jedi protectors," the reporter said as Mara looks on while she making waffles in a homemade batter.
"Mommy, you are making waffles?" a little girl asked.
"Of course, sweetheart. Its berry flavor, your favorite," Mara said as the girl hops for enjoyment.
"Cool, is daddy awake yet?" she asked.
"He is up now, go greet your father," Mara said as two younglings go up to their father to give him a big hug.
"Daddy," the two kids said as Luke goes to hug his two kids.
"Hey, there little ones. Had a nice sleep?" he asked them as he has two kids consisting of a young boy named Ben Skywalker who is 8 years old and sporting red hair, fair skin, blue eyes, and freckles on his face. He looks like his mother despite the blue eyes he got from his dad.
The second one is a little girl named Callista Skywalker who is 5 years old and sports long blond hair, light skin, and bright green eyes. She takes after her father except her eyes match her mother's color.
"Yep we did, I was flying on a cloud," Ben said.
"I was swimming in a river of chocolate pudding," Callista said.
"Sounds very amusing," Luke said sporting a big grin on his face.
"What was your dream like Daddy?" Callista asked.
"Well, I was remembering a nice memory of some old friends. It was wonderful," Luke said thinking about his father and Ben.
"Come on you two, breakfast is done," Mara said as they set the plates on the table. Luke grabbed a pitcher of citrus juice to pour into cups for his family. Luke looks at the holoscreen within the room to see the news report.
"There are signs of increasing activity of pirate attacks on New Republic shipping lanes and weird boxy ships attacking outlining New Republic worlds," the reporter said as Mara is deeply interested in this.
"Gee even if the Empire is finished. We are still getting problems in the Outer Rim and Unknown Regions," Mara said.
"The Dark Side is afoot here," Luke said.
"Bingo Farmboy, we need to get to the bottom of this. Not all the Darksiders under the Emperors were killed in the strife of the Empire," Mara said.
"There is the Grand Inquisitor Kendra, she is the third most powerful dark sider in the Empire under the Emperor and Vader. She was never found, she is still out there somewhere planning her revenge for her master's death," Mara said as Luke knows his wife used to be one of the Emperor's Hands who were his assassins who do his bidding.
"Still work to be done," Luke said.
"Hey Dad, do you have bad dreams?" Ben asked.
"Oh yeah, I do. I was on an island alone with everything around me burning. All my friends, family, and allies disappeared until I was all alone on that island in the middle of the ocean," Luke said.
"That sounds scary," Ben said.
"It does but it's just a bad dream," Luke said as Mara laughs at this.
"You staying on an island while the world burns. That sounds so not like you, you come in like some hero with a green lightsaber in hand. Coming to save the day and becoming the hero you were made to be," Mara said.
"Yeah, I would rather die fighting than give up so easily," Luke said as he bits into his waffle to enjoy the taste of the smooth berry flavor. "This is pretty good," he said as Mara grins at this.
"Thanks, I got the recipe from the Holonet. Thankfully it turned out pretty okay," Mara said.
"Once again Mara, you underestimate your skills. It's pretty amazing," Luke said as Mara reaches over to kiss his soft lips.
"You are such a good farm boy. I am happy you like it so much," Mara said.
"It's almost time for lessons Daddy," Callista said.
"Of course, we need to go do some lessons with the Younglings," Luke said.
"I bet Rachi is giving lessons about how many moons on some backwater planet or something," Mara said as Luke laughs at this.
'Yeah she has her moments," Luke said as Mara's and Rachi's friendship is pretty amusing to watch.
"I want Battlemaster Katarn to show me some lightsaber skills," Ben said getting excited about going into the training room to practice his sword skill.
"Master Katarn, another good one of a Jedi and a friend," Luke said as Battlemaster Kyle Katarn former stormtrooper turned rebel agent soon become a Jedi Knight after his journey saving the galaxy against a group of Dark Jedi led by the powerful Inquisitor Jerec. He soon became part of Luke's New Jedi Order becoming its Battlemaster becoming second in command to Luke.
"Let's get ready to teach the students," Mara said as they finished their breakfast to head into the bathroom. Mara strips out of her nightgown to only be in her underwear.
"Simply beautiful honey," Luke said as he looked down at his redhead treasure. She is only wearing a silk blue bra holding in her sizeable bust along with matching panties.
"Thanks, sweetheart," Mara takes off her underwear to be exposed naked with Luke glaring at her perfect body. Her pale white skin, blazing long red hair, large chest, wide hips, curvy legs, and round butt. "What do you think?" she asked.
"Like an angel Mara, no one better in the galaxy," Luke said as his blue eyes look at every inch of her supple curves. Mara shows a big grin always liking her husband's gaze which is only for her.
"You deserve the best dearly. Come on, I am lonely naked here," Mara said lightly biting her lip making her husband's heart swell with desire.
"Of course," Luke takes off his clothing with Mara's green eyes looking at her husband's well-trained body which is tight, lean, and strong.
"So nice honey," Mara said pressing her tiny hands onto his chest and feeling the warmth of his body. She looks down to see his member looks hard and stiff for her body. "Look eager are we?" she teased as her husband was blushing from this.
"Come on, we should get ready to go," Luke said as Mara kissed him.
"Okay," Mara said as they go into the tub together. Luke comes in first and Mara comes in after. Luke puts his arms around her slender waist to put his face into her gold red hair feeling how soft and silky her hair was.
"This is so nice," Luke said as Mara holds onto her husband's hands to press them against her flat belly.
"Yeah just you and me here," Mara said.
"All the things we did before. Thawan, Jerec, Dark Jedi, and the Imperial Remnant, I managed to beat them all and gain peace here," Luke said.
"Yeah we fought a lot of battles but it was all worth it in the end. We lost people along the way," Mara said as she remembers her old master Rahm Kota died fighting against Thawan and the unified imperial remnant in 9 ABY.
Luke tenderly holds her hands. "Kota, the old general. That man has been through hell and back but he managed to save the New Republic from a grave threat," he said.
"Yes, his legacy lives on protecting the Jedi Order," Mara said.
"Yeah, let's enjoy the water before heading out," Luke said as Mara has a big grin on her face feeling his member twitching against her butt.
"I don't know sweetie, you seem to be ready to go," Mara said as she reaches behind to grab his penis to make him flinch.
"I would like to but we need to get ready," Luke said.
"Okay, honey," she said as they enjoy their bath together to get into their Jedi outfit. Luke is sporting black robes very similar to the ones he wore when he fought against Vader for the last time. "Looking dashing as always," Mara said.
"Feels comfortable, it suits me. Well, your outfit is different," Luke said as Mara's Jedi outfit consisted of a blue blouse, brown pants, brown knee-high boots, and black fingerless gloves. Her long golden red hair is tied in a French braid and lay across her back.
"Going for a mature look, can't wear the catsuit forever," Mara said as Like can see Mara's rear is well shaped in her pants.
"Still have the lovely sights through," Luke said poking her plump backside to make her jump.
"Farm Boy being very naughty," Mara said as Luke goes up to kiss her lips.
"Come on, let's drop the kids off to their lessons," Luke said as he exits their bedroom with Mara looking at a photo of her and Luke at their wedding. Both of them wear traditional Jedi robes to embrace each other for a bright future.
"Yeah let's do that," Mara said as they go to the living room to see their children already in their Jedi robes to head for the elevator which leads to the main complex of the temple.
The family unit goes to the top floor to see beautiful white and marble walls around them with Jedi of all kinds moving through space with Humans, Near-Humans, and Aliens alike.
"Good morning Master Skywalkers," a Jedi Knight said as she was passing by.
"Morning," Luke said as they head over to the training area to drop off the kids for their lightsaber training. They go inside to see a tall man sporting a thick brown beard teaching the younglings and Padawans about the different Lightsaber forms.
"Good morning Luke and Mara," Kyle said.
"Morning Master Beardy," Mara said lightly.
"Very funny," Kyle said as the two kids were giggling at this. "So, the little ones want to get some lessons here?" he asked.
"Yes Kyle, they always like your lessons," Luke said.
"Of course, we do. It's fun," Ben said.
"Well, I am teaching about the basics of Lightsaber combat," Kyle said as the two kids come in to pick up their training lightsabers. "Okay put these helmets to cover your eyes and ears," Kyle said.
"I can't see the droid," Callista said.
"You need to use the Force to focus and allow you to react to danger around you," Kyle said using his knowledge to aid the two children allowing them to let the Force guide their hands to deflect the slow-moving stun bolts. A few bolts sting the two but they keep going to train their sword skills.
"Looking good guys," Luke said.
"Make sure to be nice to Uncle Kyle," Mara said as the parents go off to head to teach a class. "They have been doing well in their training," she said.
"Yes, they will be pros in no time flat," Luke said as they see Jedi Master Rachi in a classroom to be telling students about recent history.
"Okay, does anyone know what this is?" Rachi pokes at the screen to show a capital ship.
"That is an MC90 Star Cruiser, the backbone of the New Republic Defense Fleet," a little girl said.
"Why yes Jaina, that is correct. Can you tell us more about the MC90?" she asked.
"It's part of the New Class Program to modernize the New Republic. MC90 is the most used ship in the navy along with other powerful new Mon Cal ships which allow the New Republic along with the Jedi Collective to take out the Imperial Remnant," Jaina said.
"Good Jaina, you are correct. The Defense Fleet was needed to maintain peace across the galaxy to make sure the freedoms are secured," Rachi said as she changes the holoscreen to a new question. "Okay, what is this?" she asked.
"That is a Jedi Ranger," a young boy said.
"Oh yes Anakin, you are correct. Who are they?" she asked.
"They are the group of non-Force users who actively sought to assist us whenever possible and dedicated their lives to serve as support troops for the Jedi Order. Their duties ranged from being deployed for reconnaissance duty to covert operations that were designed to make the work of a Jedi easier to conduct," Anakin said.
"Correct Anakin, you have done your homework. Yes, they came from the ashes of Rahm Kota's militia. May the Force bless his soul. He wanted to create a paramilitary force that could aid in the Jedi protecting the galaxy from evil. They are small at 5000 strong but they are capable and strong elite soldiers who fight on the side of the light," Rachi said.
"Dad is the coolest," Jacen said.
"Yes Mr. Solo is a great help to protect the Jedi and the galaxy at large," Rachi said as she switched to a new image. "What is this?" Rachi asked as another young Jedi raises his hand.
"That is Tython," the boy said.
"Yes Jacen, what do you know about it?" she asked.
"It's the homeworld of the Jedi Order. It has two moons Ashla and Bogan which are based on the Light and Dark Sides. Big war between the Light and Dark took place here and the Jedi were born from that conflict," Jacen said.
"Correct, you are quite good at this," Rachi said.
"It's very interesting," Jacen said.
"Indeed it is little Jacen, it was a great day that the Jedi managed to defeat the Dark Jedi and send them off into the depth of space. Sadly they managed to reach Korriban the homeworld of the Pureblood Sith to form the Sith Order which has fought us for thousands of years. The last of the Sith Darth Sidious was defeated but they are whispers of the Dark Side coming back," Rachi said as the students look concerned by this.
"We can do it; we fought the bad guy before. We can do it again," Jaina said feeling psyched to become a Knight to protect the people and her family.
"Indeed, we will. Hey there Luke and Mara," Rachi said with a big smile.
"Hey there Rachi," Mara said as Jaina Solo, Jacen Solo, and Anakin Solo go up to Uncle Luke and Auntie Mara to give them hugs. "Hey there little ones," she said feeling lovingly with her two nephews and niece.
"You guys are doing a great job here," Luke said.
"Rachi is fun," Jacen said.
"It's not boring," Jaina said.
"Yeah she is doing a good job teaching you guys," Luke said.
"Of course, I did. My knowledge will make our Jedi the best around," Rachi said feeling proud of herself.
"Sure Rachi, of course," Mara said dryly.
"Hey, it's the truth," Rachi said uttering a pout.
"Miss Rachi is funny," Anakin said as Rachi sighs at this.
"Whatever, these kids appreciate my knowledge," Rachi said.
"Well, we need to go to teach lessons. You kids behave," Mara said as the three kids wave to their family members.
Luke and Mara go into a lobby that has a holoscreen along the way to see Leia's face there. "Seems like she is speaking with the Senate," Luke said.
His sister Leia Organa Solo has become the Chief of State of the New Republic for about 4 years within an 8-year term. The title includes being the President of the Senate and the civilian Commander in Chief of the New Republic Defense Force.
"She did a great keeping those smile balls in a line," Mara said.
"Yeah, keeping everyone in lock step is her thing," Luke said as they head inside a classroom to see a bunch of Padawans and Younglings waiting for them in their seats.
"Morning Master Skywalkers," the kids said with smiles on their faces eager to learn their lesson.
"Morning kids, it's so nice to see you all here today," Luke said.
"We got a lot to cover kiddos. We will be studying Force Powers including moving things with your mind," Mara said as the two Jedi Masters overlook the students with their developing their telekinesis to move metal spheres.
The couple was giving tips as some of the young Jedi failed to do the task but Luke and Mara encouraged them to push forward. One of the Younglings is struggling to lift the ball with her mind and fails to do so.
"I can't do it," the girl said as Luke got to her knee to give her some kind words.
"Do or do not, there is no try. Focus and believe in yourself," Luke said giving words of encouragement to the little girl.
She focuses her mind and reaches out with the Force to begin moving the metal ball to let it gently hover in front of her. "Oh, I'm doing it," she said looking excited.
"See, you can do it but you must have faith in yourself," Luke said as Mara smiles at this for Luke is good with kids like with her children.
Within a few hours, the Force training was over with Luke and Mara saw the students coming out of the room to be happy with the results. "That went well," Mara said.
"It did," Luke said as they get a call on their comlinks.
"Hey, Luke and Mara. This is Han, I got a message from the New Republic. Your Highness wants us to do something about those pirates," he said.
"Okay, we will be over there," Luke said as the duo head off to the hangar to meet with the leader of the Jedi Ranger Militia forces Ranger General Han Solo.
"What does Leia want?" Mara wondered.
"Could be the increase in pirate attacks. It is curious how they are getting this equipment," Luke said as they go into the lift to go into the hanger filled with X-Wings, Y-Wings, and X-4 Gunships parked all over the temple hanger bay.
Luke sees his best friend and brother-in-law give him a big brotherly hug. "Good to see you, buddy. Mara looking good as well," Han said as he hugs his sister-in-law as well.
"You too Han, so what does Ironside want from us?" Mara asked.
Han pulls out a hologram projector from his pocket to activate it to show Leia's image appearing. "Good to see you all, sorry this is not a pleasant call," Leia said.
"No problem, it's about the pirate raids right?" Luke asked.
"Yes, it's very strange it's been happening for a year. This new group is different, they are called the Crimson Horde. They are growing in strength and getting ships at a rapid pace. It makes no sense," Leia said.
"The Dark Side is involved with this," Luke said as Leia nods her head for she can feel this as well.
"I feel it too, I need your Jedi and the Rangers to get to the bottom of this. Our military is quite capable but we need to be precise with this. We need your help," Leia said.
"We will gladly help Leia," Mara said.
'Yeah, we are in this together," Luke said.
"Thank you, I will send the last location of the Crimson Horde. Could be their hideout, search for their client and report back to me," Leia said.
"We are on it Princess," Han said as Leia looks back at her husband with a small smile.
"Be careful," Leia said.
"Come on, it's me," Han said with a cooky grin.
"Okay, signing off," Leia said as the hologram turns off.
"Seems like the Crimson Horde base of operation is Abor. A Swampy planet in the Outer Rim, we need to take a strike team to raid their base and gain intel on their client," Han said.
"Seems like a smash-and-grab kind of deal," Mara said.
"Get the Rangers ready, we are going to the Outer Rim," Luke said as R2 comes along to greet his friend. "Okay R2, we are going on a mission buddy," he said as he gets into his X-Wing along with Mara who has R4 gotten into her X-Wing.
"Capital One, get some ships ready. We are busting up some pirates," Han said on the comlink to reach out to the space station orating around Tython.
"Right General, we are preparing a Strike Force now," a Ranger said as the massive space station housing the Jedi Collective fleet consisting of 10 Marauder class Corvette (195 m long) and 20 DP20 Gunships (120 m long). The Strike Force has one Marauder and three DP20s getting ready to aid the two Jedi Masters.
"This is Captain Juno Eclipse, I will be leading this operation," Juno said on the deck of the leading Marauder which is loaded with fighters and gunships.
"Thanks, Juno, it's going to be smooth sailing with you in charge," Mara said.
"Likewise, Mara. You two are quite the team. You both should be able to handle the pirates but we are here to provide support," Juno said.
After the events of Endor and the death of General Rota in the Thrawn campaign, Juno joined the first Jedi Ranger Corp to be a Ranger Officer of one of the Jedi Collective's lead ships. She loved a Jedi who died for the Rebel Alliance to become the New Republic, but she still fights alongside the Jedi as a Ranger to keep that promise to him.
Mara and Luke go outside the atmosphere of Tython to go along with the Strike Team to go into Hyperspace to head deep within the Outer Rim. "The Hyperspace lane that will take us there will speed us along the way," Juno said as her pilots get into the X-Wings and Y-Wings along with the X04 Gunships.
"Wish we had those fancy E-Wings," Mara said as she loves the X-Wing but the E-Wing is the replacement fighter for the New Republic being superior to the X-Wing in every way.
"As if, that thing is made only for the New Republic Fighter Corp beside we are an independent group. We got enough funds from our contributors to get what we got," Han said on the comlink.
"Yeah because we only need a small force to aid in our operations. Besides, I prefer X-Wings anyway," Luke said lightly.
"Oh, Farm Boy," Mara said.
"Yeah, it's better to use our funds effectively. This little navy of ours is enough for our needs. Anyway, kid good luck. May the Force be with you," Han said.
"May the Force be with you," Luke, Mara, and Juno said as they go toward their location.
Some time passed before the Strike Team managed to be within the chosen star system to see the pirate world of Abor. "The base of the Crimson Horde, time to go planetside," Luke said as the two Jedi fly their X-Wings to head for the planet.
"Nice and easy," Mara said as they go together to fly through the atmosphere with Juno on standby.
They go on the planet to fly above the trees avoiding sensor arrays from detecting them. "Mara, we should target the sensor arrays first. They will not see the fleet coming," Luke said.
"Good idea," Mara said as the two X-Wings come in to see a large satellite dish sticking out of the swampy forest. Both fire their quad laser cannons to tear the station apart.
"Alright, one down. Anymore out here?" Luke asked as Juno is using the Corvette's sensors to see if there were three more sensor arrays up ahead.
"You got three more Master Skywalkers," Juno said on the comlink.
"Thanks, let's keep up the pace," Luke said as Mara nods her head.
"Right," the duo begin to destroy the dishes with the pirates not noticing that there were blind to a planetary assault. "Okay all arrays are destroyed," Mara said.
"Okay, you are near the base. Swoop in and give them a big surprise," Juno said as the two X-Wings fire their lasers to tear apart the vehicles on the ground including an AT-AT taking some damage.
"What the hell, we are being attacked?" one of the pirates wondered as R2 sets the X-Wing under his control with Luke jumping out of the fighter to land on top of a watchtower. He sports his green lightsaber to cut him down as he blows away several pirates with a Force Push knocking them onto the ground and knocking them out.
One of the Pirates is wielding a blaster cannon to unleash a wave of blaster bolts. Luke uses the Force to make himself go very fast to weave through the barrage. He slides under the wave of fire to toss his blade like a boomerang to slice up the rotary cannon making it useless. Luke kicks the pirate to knock him across the field.
The AT-AT comes alive to loom over Luke as he can sense this to roll away from the barrage of turbolaser fire causing an explosion around Luke.
Luke takes a defensive stance to begin deflecting and batting away the powerful bolts with his lightsaber. He redirects a powerful laser bolt back at the cockpit of the AT-AT blowing a hole in it and killing the co-pilot.
The AT-AT stops moving for a moment as Luke focuses his power on the head of the machine to begin pulling it down. The legs break and the machine crashes onto the ground with a violent thud. Luke managed to slam the AT-AT onto the ground with the Force.
"Show off," Mara said lightly as she jumps out of her X-Wing to let her astromech droid pilot it to a safe place nearby.
"Not trying to, come on. Let's grab that data," Luke said as the two Jedi Masters into the complex with Mara wielding two blades. One is purple which is her original lightsaber and the blue one is Anakin's lightsaber which Luke got back in the Thawan crisis. Luke gave her the lightsaber as a gift of trust in her path to becoming a Jedi.
A bunch of pirates opens fire with the two Jedi swinging their blades in a flurry of green, blue, and purple. One by one the pirates fall before them as they are unable to stop them from reaching the server room.
Mara and Luke combined their Force Wave to unleash a powerful explosion of telekinetic energy to blow them away taking them all down. They go inside with Luke calling in R2 for he parked his X-wing to come inside. "R2 I need you to hack into the Server and get me intel," Luke said as R2 nodded to plug into the machine.
"We know you are there," the pirates got their reinforcements to begin surrounding the base with machines and troops.
"We are in a sticky situation," Mara said on the comlink with Juno arming the turbo lasers.
"Okay time for orbital strikes," Juno said as the corvette fires precise shots to cut through the atmosphere to slam into the groupings of pirates and machines glassing them into dust. The turbo lasers sweep away the pirates allowing the duo to breathe a bit.
"R2, you found it?" Luke asked.
R2 brings up a name that is attached to a record of sales of warships and equipment from an unknown group. "Darth Kendra," Luke said as Mara is dumbfounded by this.
"You got to be kidding me with this. The Grand Inquisitor Kendra is behind this," Mara said.
"Also, she calls herself Darth. Is she a Sith Lady now?" he asked.
"I can't believe she is still alive and she is controlling these groups against the New Republic and our allies," Mara said as she has seen the reports of different groups trying to undermine the New Republic by getting help from the shadows.
"So, the Sith has resurfaced. We are not getting off guard like last time," Luke said as R2 stored the data for them to go toward their X-Wings outside.
Suddenly big laser bolts came from the sky to vaporize their fighters with R4 barely escaping the blast. "That is not good," Mara said as Juno can see several groups of pirate frigates appearing over the planet.
"Oh boy, time for a counterattack. Master Skywalkers, what is your status?" she asked on the comlink. X-Wings and Y-Wings come out of the Corvette's hanger to go on the attack.
"We lost our fighters, we need to ride now," Luke said as more Pirates try to attack them but they are holding them back.
"Alright, I am going to send a gunship to pick you guys up," Juno said as the X4 Gunship flies into space to speed towards the surface. Tons of Dagger fighters swarm the Jedi Collective fleet with the DP20 unleashing their waves of anti-fighter lasers shooting out into the dust.
The Daggers try to stop the gunship but its laser turrets blast away the waves of energy fighters getting down to the planet's surface.
"Master Skywalkers, prepare to get inside," the Ranger pilot said as she hovers by the base to fire the gunship's lasers to destroy groupings of enemies. Mara, Luke, R4, and R2 hop through the hatch to get inside.
The X4 Gunship speeds off to head back to Juno's ship for them to find something very bad. Exiting hyperspace there is a massive ship of unknown origin that has a very boxy design. "What is that thing?" Mara questioned.
"That thing must be over 8000 meters long and filled with weapon emplacements," Luke said as R2 sounds worried about this. The gunship flies back into the Corvette for the strike team to go into Hyperspace to leave behind the planet.
"What the hell is that thing? How can those pirate something like that?" Mara questioned with flashes of confusion within her mind.
"We need to get to the bottom of this," Luke said as he contacted Leia via the hologram projector to see her sister appear before him and Mara.
"Seems like you completed your mission," Leia said as she sensed something is wrong. "What's wrong?" she asked.
"Bad news, we got the data. These pirates are being backed by a Sith lady named Kendra. The Emperor's old lackey," Mara said.
"Seriously, I thought the last one died," Leia said.
"Throughout the thousands of years of history, the Sith remake themselves. The Sith Empire, the Dark Brotherhood, and the Rule of Two. Evil always comes back and it's our job to put it back where it belongs," Luke said feeling determined to face this threat.
"Yeah, I agree. We are not going to let the Sith rule this galaxy again," Mara said.
"Give me the data and I will need to talk with the senate. Good work," Leia said as the group heads back to Tython to regroup to tell everyone about the dark news.
Elsewhere within the planet of Ziost deep within the Unknown Regions, Kendra is in her chambers to see one of her servants coming to tell her the news. "Mistress the Jedi and their Rangers managed to raid the Crimson Horde base on Abor. They managed to find your name within the servers there along with the data," the servant said.
"Oh really, that is not good," Kendra said as she summons a ball of blue flame above her palm using her special Pyrokinesis powers. The blue flame glows against the dark background of her chambers to have a wicked smile on her pale face. "The Ark Project is going underway and I will be able to use these fools like the pirates to spread chaos while I build up my army to take out the New Republic and the Jedi," Kendra said as she turns around to unleash her blue flames to engulf her harmless servant to burn her to a crisp.
"I like my brains a little crispy. Watch out Luke Skywalker, I am coming for you. You will regret destroying my master and burn your dreams to the ground," Kendra said as she laughs to herself with a huge sphere in orbit around the star system's sun to absorb the energy from it to make ships for anyone who she can use to make her goals come true.
