The Foul Chase to Claws!

One week later…

"Alright, that was an interesting experience," Gavin said as he left the testing chamber, which was now located a bit deeper in the complex. He had just finished singing the song "Roar" by Katy Perry and had changed his surroundings while doing so. Said surroundings had become a large jungle that had a plane crash into it, with a meek woman surviving the crash. Said woman had gradually become more and more confident, before gaining the power to roar louder than the resident tiger, scaring it into submission. "I wouldn't mind seeing that again," he muttered to himself, having found the story of the woman growing confident to be quite wonderful to watch.

As the guards started to rejoin him to lead him back to his cell, a loud alarm started to blare, confusing him.

*BWEEEERK! BWEEERRRK!*

"Attention: Dangerous SCPs have escaped containment. Please contact Security for more details as you go to your designated safe rooms," A male automated voice said over the intercom. "If you are currently escorting an SCP, please get it back to its containment cell as quickly as you can. Thank you."

As the voice started to repeat what it was saying, Gavin looked at the guards with confusion, noticing that they all seemed tense. "Um, so, shall we go?" he said to them, causing them to start a bit before they nodded and started to move again. 'I hope they can re-contain those SCPs before I get to my cell,' He thought as they briskly walked through the hallway. 'I really don't want to encounter whatever SCPs have escaped. Although, I do wonder why they're so dangerous?'

After about fifteen minutes, they reached a small stairwell, and started going up it, but then the group paused when one guard held up a hand.

"What is it?" Gavin asked him, before they pointed at him and held a finger up to their helmet, telling him to be silent. Then, they started to move again, while Gavin felt very confused. 'Why'd they tell me to be quiet?' He thought as they walked for a few more minutes, before the guards stopped again.

Then, one of them spoke. "Alright, I've just been told by command that we need to put SCP-10,000 in a temporary cell for now. It's too risky to transport it back to its cell currently," The guard replied in a male voice, before looking to their right and left. "They said that there should be an empty cell nearby," he muttered as he walked away for a few feet, before he spotted what he was looking for. "Aha! Bring SCP-10,000 over here," He said, prompting them to walk Gavin over to the black door that had the SCP Foundation symbol on it, as well as an electronic lock next to it.

"It can stay in here," The guard said as he took out a key card and inserted it into the lock, which then beeped, before a green light lit up on it and the door opened. "Go in SCP-10,000."

"Um, alright," Gavin replied, only to be shushed quickly by the guards. "Sorry, sorry," He whispered back before he entered the cell, which wasn't super big, and had nothing inside it. Then, the door shut, before he heard it lock, followed by the guard's footsteps growing faint in the distance. "And now I'm in here for who knows how long," he muttered as he looked at the cell, before sighing as he sat down on the floor, which was slightly uncomfortable. "What kind of SCPs escaped?" he said as he sat there.

A few minutes went by, before he groaned. "Ugh, I'm so bored!" he groaned, before his phone vibrated and he looked at it.

On it was a photo of SCP-1471-A's face next to his head, looking at him with concern. And Z0RR.a had texted "¿Estás bien?" (Are you okay?)

"I'm fine Z0RR.a. I'm fine SCP-147-okay, I need to come up with a name for you!" he said. "Cause 'SCP-1471-A' is a mouthful to say over and over again."

At that, he got a text from Mal.O. Said text was of SCP-1471-A's head next to his, looking at the camera with a smile. And below it was text. The text read, "M̵̧̡͖̤̦̤̥̗̠̖̜͔̽̓̋̂͊́͊̈́̊̎͐͒ẙ̴̥͈͜ ̵̨̨̗͍̫̜̝͇͒̌́́ͅn̴̩̯̬̱͚̔̐̂́̿̽̊̈́̌̍̈͜ą̵̭̀̿̇̓̚m̶̟̗̘̭͔̌̀̒͂̈̎͂̂e̶̜͚̟̪̠̫͍͔̣͕̞͛̂̋́̈͌͐̆̈́̾̈́̕͜͝ ̴̨̨͚͕̥͚͔͍̣̹̖͎́̃̈́̽̽͒̄̄͗́̃͝i̵̢̡͝s̸̡̖̯̪̮̃̓̍̆̒͘ ̸̡̖̝̲͔͉̼̼̭͎͎͇̓̊̂̑̂͠M̵͉̈́͛͊͋̎̌̈͋͊̾̚͝ȃ̵̱͓̣̮̤͕̙͎̽͌̿̑̃͗̆̈́͗̈̚͝ͅl̸̛̳͖̳̆͘͝Ơ̶̢̨̱̱̊͑́̍͗̆̌̕͠͝."

"Your name is 'MalO?'" he said with surprise upon reading the text, which was rather hard to do so as it was quite glitchy. "Huh, nice name." 'Same as the app,' He thought with a small smirk. He then pocketed his phone and turned his attention to the floor ahead of him. "Well, he didn't say I couldn't use my powers," he continued as he reached forward and started to tap on the floor, creating piano keys. "This'll be a great way to pass the-"

"SKRRAAAARRG!"

"What the fuck was that?!" He yelled with fright and shock as a somewhat loud roar of some sort came from below him, sounding like it was coming from a decent distance down. "Was that one of the SCPs that escaped?!"

Then, he heard people's voices in the nearby hallway, along with gunfire.

"Dammit!"

"Why's it going here?!"

"I don't know!"

"What the fuck is going on?!" Gavin yelled again as he stood up, before the faint smell of rotting flesh started to hit his nose, a smell he knew from having to clean off roadkill from cars for money. "Ugh, what the hell died?"

Then, a hissing sound started to come from the door, and he looked at it as he covered his nose, only to gain a shocked look. The door was starting to quickly rust, with multiple rust spots appearing on the inner surface and spreading across it.

"What the fuck?!" Gavin said, while the gunfire and yelling continued.

"Why is it still here?!"

"I don't fucking know, but I'm glad it is!"

"Why the fuck are you glad?!"

"Because we know where it is!"

Then, the door, now completely covered with rust, fell apart with a loud metallic groan, creating a small dust cloud of orange rust. As it did so, the rotten smell got even stronger, and then Gavin saw it.

The SCP the guards had been talking about.

"What the fuck are you?" Gavin said with shock, awe, and slight disgust as he stared at the SCP. Said SCP stood about 5 foot 10 inches tall and looked like a very elderly and thin male human who was rotting a bit. His head was completely bald, and he was missing his lips, with his mouth in a large grin that showed his white and black teeth. His body was completely naked and secreting some sort of thick black mucus that seemed to be what was causing the corrosion he had just witnessed, as it was slowly sinking into the floor.

Then, he saw its eyes, and he stepped back. Its eyes were sunken into its head and pitch black. They looked almost lifeless, but inside those black little pools that were its eyes, he could see that it wanted to do one thing and one thing only.

Torture and kill him.

"Oh shit! There's another SCP in there!" A guard yelled upon hearing Gavin's voice, before another gunshot rang out, and a bullet hit the old man.

But it seemed to do absolutely nothing, as the old man didn't even flinch. Instead, he slowly stepped forward, while Gavin took another step back, before his back hit the wall.

"Shit!" Gavin cursed, while the old man grinned, and took another step, and another, dripping the corrosive black mucus as he did so, his grin never leaving his face. "Shitshitshitshitshitshitshit!" he cursed, knowing there was nowhere else he could go and nothing he could do.

Right as the old man got close enough that he could grab him with an arm, Gavin remembered something. "Ensnaring vines!" He yelled as he held his palms out towards the man, while his hands turned green, before thick vines with large thorns on them shot out of them and wrapped around the old man, pushing the man out of the door and into the wall across from it. The old man was now wrapped from his neck to his ankles in vines and was being anchored to the wall by them as well.

"Holy shit!"

"That SCP just stopped SCP-106 in its tracks!"

"I wouldn't be so sure about that."

"What do you mean?"

"Look!"

"Oh you've got be kidding me!" Gavin groaned with shock and anger as he saw the old man start to slowly move through the vines, all while evilly grinning and staring at him, the black mucus coating the vines and slowly eating away at them. "That didn't slow it down?!" He then ran out of the room and down the hallway. "Fuck this shit! I'm getting away from you!" He yelled as he ran, not realizing that he was running away from the guards.

Before the guards could shout for him to stop, he had run into the stair well and run down the flight of stairs, it being the only way to go. "Oh shitshitshitshitshit!" He cursed as he ran, not sure if the SCP had gotten out yet. "Why me?!"

As he ran, he rounded corners, went down hallways, and descended stairs, going deeper and deeper into the complex.

After several minutes, he came to a stop, and leaned against a wall as he panted for breath. "Did I lose him?" He said as he looked behind him.

It appeared he had, as he didn't see the old man chasing him.

"Oh thank goodness!" He said with relief as he turned away. "I guess he's too far away to catch up with me."

As soon as he said that, the familiar smell of rotting flesh hit his nose, and he froze, before he started to hear the telltale "hiss" of acid from above him. 'No, please don't be what I think it is,' He thought as he slowly looked up, before his eyes widened. "Oh come on!" He yelled as he saw the old man slowly pulling himself through the ceiling in a large blackish pool, before he started to run away again. "Leave me alone!" He yelled as he looked back, and saw the old man walk around the corner, that evil grin still on his face. "Seriously!"

The old man didn't respond as he watched the human run away from him and go into another stairwell that led deeper into the complex. All he did was grin more and walk after him, drops of the black mucus falling off his body as he went.

"Grrrrr! Why is he coming after me?!" Gavin exclaimed as he ran down the stairs. "All I did was push him away with vines!" He then missed a step and fell forward. "Shit!" he cursed as he fell, rolling down the rest of stairs and coming to a stop at the bottom with a groan of pain. "Owww!" he groaned, before his eyes widened when he saw the old man at the top of the stairs, looking down at him with that evil grin. "Fuck!" he cursed as he quickly got up and ran through the nearby door. "Stop coming after me!" He screamed as he ran, while the old man walked down the stairs, endlessly grinning as he went.

As he ran, he aimed a hand back and shouted, "Thorny blockade!" His hand then turned bright green, before large thorny vines shot out and filled up the entire hallway, making a super sharp blockade. The thorns themselves had sharp points and jagged edges. Once they were done filling up the hallway, his hand turned back to normal, and he felt himself get rather tired. 'I hope that stops him or hurts him,' He thought as he stared at the blockade briefly before he resumed running, albeit a tad slower than before.

Eventually, he came to a stop, feeling rather worn out from all the running he'd done, as he'd been running nonstop for about twenty minutes since making the blockade. "Dear Kami!" he said as he put a hand to his chest, feeling his heart racing. "I hope that SCP is faaaaaar behind me now!" He continued as he looked down the hallway he had just run down. "I really don't want to deal with acid attacks." 'What the hell is with that SCP?' He thought as he stood there, leaning against a wall. 'Why is it coming after me and not the guards? They're the ones going after it and shooting it! They're the ones actively trying to hurt and stop it!' He continued with a frown/frustrated look on his face. 'All I did was push it away from me.'

"SKRAAAAAARG!"

"What the fuck was that?!" Gavin exclaimed upon hearing another roar that was similar to the first roar he'd heard come from below him, sounding a bit closer. "What do they have locked up down there?" he questioned as he looked down at the floor.

As he did so, the hiss of acid reached his ears once again, before a slime-covered hand grabbed his right wrist, making him jump. "GAH!" He yelled as he did so, looking down to see who or what was grabbing him. "OH SHIIIIIIITTTT!" He screamed upon seeing that the hand was that of the old man, and he stepped away and tried to pull his hand out of his grip, with the hand sticking straight out of a black pool now sitting on the wall. "Let go!" he yelled as he pulled on his arm, trying to get away from the man. 'First he's on the ceiling and now he's walking through walls?! What next?! Attacking from the floor?!' He thought as he pulled and pulled on his arm, which was getting covered in a burning sensation from the mucus, before he shuddered with fear as the old man's ever-grinning face slowly came out of the pool, his eyes staring into Gavin's.

"Let go!" Gavin yelled at the SCP with fear and anger. "Go away!" he continued, before he thought 'Oak ram!' His captured arm then turned bright green, before five oak logs as wide as matchboxes shot out from his upper arm, elbow, and the rear portion of his lower arm, hitting the SCP hard in the face. The force of the hit pushed Gavin's arm out of its grip and sent him falling back onto his ass.

'Thank Kami it worked!' He thought as he scrambled to his feet and started to run away again, feeling quite tired after making the five oak logs. "Gotta get away!" he grunted as he ran, while the old man stared at him for several seconds as the logs laid on the floor, covered in the mucus, before his grin widened slightly.

"What the fuck did that guy do to my arm?!" He continued as he held up his right arm as he entered a stairwell and hurried down it. Said arm was covered from the back of his hand to right above his elbow with the black mucus, and was hurting quite badly at those spots, like someone was taking sandpaper and rubbing it into his skin hard. "Fuck this hurts!" he shouted as he reached the bottom of the stairs, rubbing the black mucus on his shirt to try to wipe it off of his arm, as the burning increased in intensity, going from sandpaper burns to full on fire within ten seconds. "IT HURTS!" He yelled as he rubbed the mucus on his shirt harder, before noticing that holes had been eaten into the shirt, prompting him to rip it off before he got mucus on other parts of him as he went down a hallway. 'Holy shit this fucking hurts! How is that guy not screaming with pain?!' He thought as he balled up his shirt and ran it along his arm, getting off most of the mucus before he tossed it to the side, his arm blistering and turning dark red as the remaining mucus did its work on the flesh. 'Is that why he's an SCP?!' He continued as he rounded a corner and heard another roar.

"SKRRAAAAARGG!"

And it sounded closer.

'I pray to Kami that whatever is making that sound is nicer than the SCP chasing me right now!' Gavin thought as he ran down the new hallway and entered another stairwell, while his arm continued to burn, throbbing with pain alongside the pain he was feeling from the burning and wounded flesh.

As he ran down the stairwell, he looked at his arm, and hissed at the sight. The skin was deep red, and covered in large blisters that were growing in number. The pieces of skin that weren't blistered had melted off, revealing the other layers beneath it, with big drops and trickles of blood on them. "Shit! That is going to be one ugly scar," he said with a frown as he reached the landing and went down another set of stairs, going deeper into the facility. He watched as the blisters grew bigger and bigger, with some reaching golfball size, before they popped. And he let out a loud hiss of pain at the sensation, while fluid ran out from the blisters and dripped onto the floor along with his blood. "Dammit!"

"SKROAAAARR!"

*BANGBANGBANG!*

"What the fuck?!" Gavin said with confusion upon hearing heavy gunfire from below as well as that roaring whatever-it-was. "What is going on down there?!" he continued as he reached another landing and went down a third flight of stairs, before reaching a doorway and running through it.

The sound of gunfire sounded closer and clearer as he ran down a hallway, along with the sounds of yelling and more roars. Before he could attempt to make out what the yelling was about though, he felt himself trip on a small object and then fall forward, landing on his face with an "OOF!"

"Owwwww!" he groaned as he started to get up, rubbing his face with the palm of his injured hand to help alleviate the small amount of pain running through it. "What'd I trip on?" he questioned as he started to turn around to look, only to let out a scream as two slimy hands grabbed him by the wrists extremely tight.

"NO! NO!" He screamed as he looked forward and saw the old man crouching before him, a black puddle on the ceiling above him. "NO!" He screamed again as he tried to pull himself out of the man's grip once again.

The old man's grin widened as Gavin struggled to get away, with him finding that he was having no luck, despite the man being quite thin and rotted. 'Dammit!' He thought as he pulled and pulled away from the old man, who pulled in the opposite direction. 'Ensnaring vines!' He thought once more as he looked at the SCP, with his hands and arms turning green once again.

But instead of the wave of vines like before, only a couple vines as thick as salt shakers slithered out of his arms and hands, before they wrapped themselves around the old man. "What?!" Gavin said with confusion as he stared at the vines, while the old man's grin grew bigger as the mucus burned at the vines, before a wave of exhaustion hit him. 'Dammit! I used up all my energy!' He thought as his arms turned back to their normal color, with the vines detaching themselves from his limbs. 'And I've fucked myself!' he continued as the old man flexed his arms, with the vines snapping and falling to the ground in pieces, still staring at Gavin as he did so.

And then, a puddle grew underneath Gavin's legs, and he started to sloooooooowly sink into it.

"Oh shit! HELP! HELP!" Gavin screamed as he felt his limbs sink into the cool liquid, with it soon reaching his knees. "HELP MEE! SOMEBODY! ANYBODY! HEEEEEELP!" He screamed as the liquid rose above his knees and started to crawl up his thighs as he sank deeper and deeper into the puddle, while the old man watched, still grinning.

"HEEEELP! HEEEELP!" He screamed as loud as he could, his voice echoing down the hallway as he did so. He could feel his phone vibrating incessantly, and could see MalO looking at him from around a corner, its eyes wide with alarm while a black-furred and sharp-clawed slender hand was held to its mouth. "HELP MEEEE! SELINAA!" He screamed with tears running down his cheeks as the liquid started to go past his waist. "HEEEEELLLP!"

'Oh Kami! I don't want to die here! I don't want to die here!' He thought as he sank deeper and deeper, with the liquid reaching his belly button, while the old man lowered his arms, and started to push him deeper into the hole, speeding up the process. 'I don't want to die here!' He continued as the liquid got closer to his armpits. "HELP MEEE!" He screamed again with fear, while the old man grinned more as he pushed the human into the pool.

Then, right as the liquid was reaching the bottom of his arms, a nearby door burst open, the door flying across the hallway and slamming into the wall with great force, making the old man stop what he was doing and look up with intrigue, with Gavin momentarily falling silent as he looked as well.

A split second later, Selina raced around the corner with a loud growl, an enraged look on her face. "LET GO OF MY MATE!" She roared as she leaped at the old man and grabbed him by the leg, before she pulled him away from Gavin, making him let go of the human. She then threw him forward like he was a rag doll, and he flew through the air, limbs flailing as he went. He soon slammed against the wall with a loud "Thud!" and "SNAP!", causing the man to let out a quiet hiss as he landed on the floor next to the wall.

"Selina!" Gavin said happily upon seeing his mate as he clutched at the ground with his injured arms. "Oh thank Kami you're here!" He continued as she looked down at him, with him seeing MalO look at him from around the corner again, its hand no longer at its mouth.

"Gavin!" She said with worry and some relief upon seeing him, before she reached her head down, allowing him to grab her by the head. She then pulled him out of the puddle, with it remaining where it was as she dragged him away from it for several feet, black mucus clinging to his legs and feet. "Oh, thank goodness I got here when I did! I almost lost you!" She continued as she let go of him, while the puddle started to sag slowly.

"How'd you find me?" He asked her as he got up, before he started shaking off the mucus and rubbing his arms on the walls to try to stop the burning, as well as shaking his legs.

"The key I gave you let me know where you were, and I could hear your cries for help with it," Selina replied as she looked at him with concern. "I then traveled through the door in our home to here to get you out," She continued, before she growled again as she looked at the old man. "Get away from here, foul thing!" She growled, her tail swishing angrily from side to side as she looked at him, with Gavin looking at the old man nervously as she did so briefly, before he returned his attention to his damaged arms and rotting pantlegs and shoes. "He is not yours!" She continued as he kicked off his shoes and socks, before he detached the pantlegs from their zippers and tossed them to the floor, leaving him in his shorts.

The SCP stared at her as he laid on the ground, his grin gone as his black eyes stared at her angry yellow ones. He then slowly started to get up, with Selina growling lower and louder as she stared at him, the yellow marks on her body glowing a bit. "Get. Away!" She roared at the SCP, her claws coming out as she did so. "And never come after him again! Or else I will kill you!" She continued as she drew her claws over the concrete, sending deep scratches into it as she did so.

The old man stared at them the whole time as he stood up to his full height, his right arm bent at an odd angle, before he frowned, and then turned away. A large puddle formed on the wall before him, and he clutched his arm as he let out a quiet hiss, like a tea kettle, before he started to go into the puddle.

Selina watched the old man carefully as he walked into the puddle, with her markings still glowing somewhat brightly as she watched the last bit of him, his heel, disappear into the puddle with some ripples.

As the ripples reached the edge of the puddle, cracks started to form on the edges of it, growing bigger before her eyes, while the puddle on the floor continued to sag lower and lower.

Then, there was a "SCHLOP!" as the puddle on the floor broke open, with the bottom of it falling to the floor below, making a large hole in the floor before them. The sides of the floor hung down like torn tissue, melting from the black mucus. The other mucus puddle began to drip down as well, with the cracks on the walls growing bigger and bigger every second.

Pieces of the wall started to fall down as the cracks intersected with each other on either side of the puddle, while the puddle itself ran down faster and faster, before the middle of it collapsed down, revealing a human-sized hole melted through it. The black mucus began to drip from the top, while the cracks continued to grow.

"Hmph! Good riddance!" Selina said with a nod upon seeing that, before she turned to Gavin, a worried look appearing on her face. "Now let me see those wounds," She continued as she turned herself fully around, her tail facing the hole in the floor, which was still growing in size.

"It really hurts!" He moaned with pain as he held out his inured arms, which were both dripping blood and covered in blisters that had popped, as well as black streaks left by the mucus.

"Oh dear!" Selina said with alarm as she looked at the wounds, her eyes widening as she took in the damage. "This isn't good. These are really bad!" She continued. "Like, really really bad!" She said, before she licked at his right arm, making him let out a loud hiss of pain.

"Ouch! Don't do that!" He moaned as he pulled back his arm, holding it up to his bare chest as more blood started to drip off it, with him seeing MalO look at him from the corner with alarm, hand back to its mouth. "That fucking hurts!"

"Bleugh! Sorry! Sorry!" Selina apologized profusely as she spat out the bit of blood, mucus, and flesh she'd licked off him. "Just trying to help!" She continued.

"I know," he replied as his arms burned from the mucus, with him wincing while tears ran down his cheeks from the pain. "I know," He said as he sniffled. "Now can you get me to a doctor?" He asked her.

"Yes! But I can't go find one the same way I found you," She replied as she crouched down, allowing him to get on her back. "I can only do that sort of thing if they have the key. And, well…" She trailed off, with him groaning as he clutched his arms to his chest.

"So we're gonna be wandering around, looking for one," He continued with more sniffling.

"Not at all!" Selina replied with a smile. "I hear guns nearby, and where there's guns there's people!" She continued, before a loud burst of gunfire rang out in the distance.

*BANGBANGBANG!*

"They'll surely have a radio we can use to contact someone to get you medical aid!" She said as she started to walk quickly down the hallway away from the holes, with the wall collapsing as the cracks ran through it completely.

"SKRAAAAAARG!"

"But what about the fact that they sound like they're fighting something?!" He asked her as a loud roar rang out in the same distance as the gunfire. "Something big?!"

"I'll help them fight it off while you call for medical aid. I heard them say they're locking down the lower floors before I left, so it's our best bet to be heard," Selina replied as she approached a door at the end of the hallway, which then slid open to reveal a massive room. Said room was gray in color, and appeared to be around two stories tall, or slightly less. Multiple large crates with various labels on them sat before them, with pathways between them leading deeper into the room.

The sound of gunfire was much clearer now, letting them know that the fighting was happening in this room.

"Okay, we're sure to find someone with a radio here," Selina said as she hurried down a pathway, before a loud male scream rang out from the back.

"AAAAAAAGH!"

*BANGBANG!*

"Oh dear Kami!" Gavin said with fright, the scream having sent shivers down his spine.

"SHOOT ITS EYES!" A man yelled among the gunfire, before the sound of machine guns rang out, along with what sounded like a shotgun.

"What the hell are they fighting?! An alien?!" he exclaimed as Selina hurried towards the back, passing by more crates as she went, while his arms continued to burn with pain, the mucus still doing its work on him.

"We're about to find out!" She growled as they passed by some more crates, before reaching a large open area sitting past the crates.

And the sight they saw made their eyes widen with surprise, shock, awe, and horror.

The open area had a couple forklifts sitting against one wall, with a very wide doorway in the back wall. Standing with their backs to the doorway were four Foundation guards, each firing a weapon at something in the entrance.

A torn arm laid on the ground, with blood pooling around it, with half of a leg sitting against a wall, two white bones sticking out of it.

The thing the guards were shooting at was a reptilian-like creature that stood around 5 feet tall, 2 and a half feet wide, and 8 feet long. It stood on four legs that were thick with muscle, and had sharp black claws on its five-fingered feet, which looked like kindof like a mixture between human and lizard. A long tail stuck out behind it, with greenish black matted hair of some sort running down it. What looked like gray scales covered its body, with more of that matted hair covering its back and shoulders, hanging off its sides a bit like drapes.

Its head consisted of a tannish white skull that had a long lizard-like snout, with super sharp teeth in its jaws, along with a black pointed tongue. More hair sat around the back of the head, framing it like curtains, while three pinkish red eyes with black vertically slitted pupils sat on either side of its head.

Its body appeared to be in somewhat rough condition, as multiple vertebral processes could be seen sticking out of its back amidst the hair. Its flesh was burned in several areas, such as its sides, legs, and tail. They could see several tailbones towards the tip of said appendage, a large bone in the upper portion of its right rear leg, a couple toe bones in its left foot, and part of its ribcage. Muscle could be seen on several parts of its legs and back as well.

"What the fuck is that?!" Gavin exclaimed as he stared at the creature, with MalO staring at it from behind a nearby crate with wide eyes, while one guard heard him and turning towards him with a gun. "H-Hey! Don't shoot!" He exclaimed as he held up his injured arms. "We're just here to call for help!"

At that, the guard huffed. "What help?!" The guard exclaimed with a male voice. "We're fucked! SCP-682 has breached containment and we don't have the firepower to stop it!" he continued with some rage as he turned his attention back to the creature and resumed firing his AK-47, before he quickly ran out of ammo. "Dammit!" He exclaimed as he tossed his gun to the side, before he pulled out a grenade. "Eat shit you fucking lizard!" He yelled as he pulled the pin, before he tossed it at the SCP, who roared in response as the grenade flew towards it.

SCP-682 then rolled to the side as the grenade landed on the ground and bounced towards it, before it exploded with a loud "BANG!", making a small cloud of smoke. SCP-682 let out a small roar of pain as the grenade's explosion scorched its exposed muscle on the right side, before it turned its eyes to the guards and growled.

"You disgusting humans are such annoying pests!" The SCP said in a deep voice that sent shivers down all their spines, with Gavin being unable to determine what gender it was. "You lock me away as you try to think of ways to kill me, but each time I try to break out, I will not be contained!" It roared, before another guard aimed their machine gun at its eyes and fired it.

One eye went dark with blood, while the SCP growled angrily, before it closed its eyes. A few seconds passed, before it opened them again, revealing the damaged eye was now healed. Another bullet flew through the air and hit another eye, but instead of puncturing it, it bounced off it and went into a nearby wall.

"SHIT! Aim for the muscle!" A third guard yelled as he aimed his gun at the lizard's left leg and started to fire it, with the other guard continued to fire their gun at the SCP.

A few minutes went by as Gavin and Selina watched the gunfight, bullets flying through the air and hitting the SCP's flesh, making it growl with pain as it stood there.

And then, one guard's gun clicked, signaling that it was out of ammo, before a second did as well, followed shortly thereafter by the third.

"FUCKING DAMMIT!" The male guard they had spoken to yelled angrily as the other guards emptied out their pockets, finding no more ammo. "We're out of ammo! FUCK!"

"Heheheh!" SCP-682 chuckled, sending more shivers down their spines as it slowly moved its tail side ot side. "Time for you to die, filthy pests!"

"Not if I can help it!" Selina said with a growl, catching the guard's attention, and SCP-682's.

"Wait, who the fuck are you?!" One guard said with alarm as they stared at her and Gavin along with the other guards, who were now silent with surprise.

Selina didn't respond to his question. Instead, she turned to Gavin and said, "Gavin, time to get off."

"Are you sure you can take her Selina?" He asked her with concern as he looked from her to SCP-682. "It took fucking bullets like it was nothing!" He continued.

"I'm sure," She continued with a nod. "That old man seemed way scarier than this guy," She said, causing him to gain an unsure look on his face before he sighed.

"Alright, if you say so," He said before he got off her, holding his arms close to him as he did so. "Just be careful!" He continued with emphasis as he leaned forward and kissed her on the snout. "I don't want to lose you."

"Oh, sweetie, you won't lose me," Selina replied with an assuring smile, before she turned her attention back to SCP-682 and started to run towards it, extending her claws as she went, while her markings started to glow.

"Hmmmm, so you've decided to fight me," SCP-682 said as she approached it, its eyes looking at her. "A foolish decision!" The SCP growled, before it started to run at her, its sharp claws gouging the floor with ease as it went.

"Come on Selina! Come on!" Gavin yelled supportively as he watched the two SCPs charge each other. "Kick its ass!"

"Not gonna happen boy!" A guard said despondently. "SCP-682's tougher then anything we've sent at it! It can't be stopped!

"What?!" Gavin exclaimed with alarm as he turned to look at the guard. "Are you serious?!" He asked, before another guard spoke up.

"The Foundation's tried to terminate it in all sorts of ways, like with gunfire and grenades. Nothing's worked!" The guard said unhappily as the two SCPs leaped into the air at each other. "I've heard that all we could do was try to put it in a box to slow it down while the scientists thought of something that could kill it."

"OH SHIT!" Gavin exclaimed with alarm as he looked back at the SCPs right as they came into contact with each other. "Selina!" he yelled as the two SCPs clawed and bit at each other as they landed on the floor, tails whipping about.

'Oh please don't die!' he thought as they all watched the fight, with MalO looking worried when he saw it again, sitting on a crate. Selina clawed at SCP-682's shoulders, back, and belly as she bit into its throat with a growl, her claws not making a dent in its skin, but they were cutting into the exposed muscle. SCP-682 hissed at the sensation, and drew deep scratches in her shoulders, causing big drops of blood to well up on her skin. It was unable to bite her thanks to her grip on her throat, but it was able to wrap its tail around her legs and squeeze them tightly, stopping her clawing of the belly.

'Dammit! Can't…move them!" Selina thought as she tried to move her legs, only to let out a groan of pain as the tail squeezed tighter around her legs, sending pain through them. 'Gotta…hurt it!' She continued as she clawed at its shoulders and bit down harder, feeling the flesh slowly give way to her sharp teeth. 'This…should…kill it!'

She bit down as hard as she could on the flesh of the throat, and she inwardly grinned as she felt her teeth go through the muscle and into the trachea and esophagus, blood filling her mouth and smearing on her muzzle. As her jaws clamped shut on the chunk of flesh, she twisted her head back and spat out the chunk, it landing on the floor a couple feet away, blood leaking out of it.

'Gotcha!' She thought with a grin as she looked up at the SCP, expecting to see it choking/gasping as it started to die.

But to her shock, the SCP did none of those things. Instead, it grinned, and said, "Fool. That cannot kill me. Nothing you can do to me can kill me," before it launched its head down and grabbed her by the neck.

"SELINA!" Gavin screamed with horror as SCP-682 dragged its claws across her body, with its tail squeezing her legs so hard that loud cracking noises were coming from them. Its jaws clamped down hard on her neck, and it slowly wiggled its head around, jerking her head around in turn.

"N-No!" Selina gasped as she felt her throat getting choked by 682, hooking her claws into whatever she could and pulling them tight across them, trying to get the SCP to let go of her. 'Can't…lose…here! Must…save…Gavin!' She thought as her claws dragged across the left shoulder of the SCP, cutting deep into the exposed muscle and scraping against the bone, causing more blood to flow from them onto her paws and arms.

"She's lost," A guard said simply, sounding downcast and as if he'd accepted his fate to die. "We're fucked," he continued as 682 choked Selina out for about fifteen more seconds, before it let go and raised its head as it looked at her, while Selina gasped for air, drops of blooding welling up from the teeth marks on her throat.

"Now you will die, and give me power!" The SCP growled with glee, making Selina and Gavin's eyes widen with shock and horror, while MalO put a hand to its mouth with alarm, his phone vibrating like crazy.

"NOOOO!" Gavin screamed, before he ran forward as the SCP bit down on Selina's throat once more, teeth slicing into her flesh and drawing more blood. "NOOOOOOO!" He screamed again upon seeing the damage being inflicted on her, prompting him to run faster, despite feeling so very tired after all the running and plant-making he'd done earlier.

His legs burned as he ran at 682, while the guards stared at him with shock and horror.

"He's gonna get killed so damn fast! Fuck! Now 682's got more material to use to get stronger!" One guard said as he put his hands to his head with alarm, remembering the rumor he'd heard about the SCP and what it could do.

"Fuck! That's really bad!" Another guard said in agreement. "Better call Command and let them know what's going on."

"What do you mean 'call Command?' We lost the radio twenty minutes ago when Jeeves was eaten!" Another guard said with frustration. "The only thing left of him is his arm!" The guard continued as he gestured to the arm laying on the ground, sounding horrified.

"Yeah, we're fucked man! FUUUUCKED!" Another guard added as he turned his attention to the scene in front of them, fear on his face underneath his visor as he watched the teenager run towards SCP-682, who was still biting into Selina's throat.

"LET GO OF HER YOU MONSTER!" Gavin screamed as he ran up to the SCP and punched it in the head with all his might, letting out a cry of pain as his right hand hit its skull right next to its eyes. "LET GO OF MY MATE!" He yelled again as he threw another punch, despite his arms hurting like crazy from the black mucus of the old man SCP.

At that, the eyes of SCP-682 widened slightly, before it opened its mouth, letting Selina's head drop onto the floor rather hard, with blood trickling down her throat as she laid there unconscious. "You're her mate, you disgusting creature?" It said with revulsion. "How utterly fowl!" It continued as it raised its head up and looked at him, shivers running down his spine as its six eyes looked at him. "Die with her!" It growled, before it swiped one of its clawed feet at him faster than he could react.

Searing pain wracked his head as its claws ran over his face and neck, with his eyes widening as his head flew to the side. He felt rather light for some reason, and he couldn't move his arms or legs as his head hit the ground and rolled for several feet.

As he came to a stop, his vision started to quickly blur, with his head being positioned so that he was looking at the SCP and Selina from the side. Said beings looked like blobs to him, and there was a third blob that was laying on the floor, a large red blob forming at one end.

'S…Selina!' he thought as his vision continued to blur to the point that he couldn't see anything clearly, before it started to darken. 'I…I…I'll save you!' He continued, before his vision darkened completely, and he fell unconscious.

Well, this was an interesting chapter!

Can't wait to write more!

I'm a stinker for ending on a cliffhanger of sorts!

Hopefully I can have the next chapter out sooner than a year!

Let me know what SCPs you want him to interact with! SCP-1471, 372, 682, Z0RR.A, 173, 795, and Selina (860-2) are already confirmed/been done.

Also, could someone explain to me how Humes work? I've read the article on the SCP website about them, and I'm confused about the numbering. What's a strong reality bender's levels, and what's a weak ones?

And, are there any good art pieces of Scranton Reality Anchors? If so, please let me know!
