After placing the two trios in their hiding places, Sora, Kairi, Ash, Leaf, Tracey, the D-Team, Rod, Laura, Eva, Jimmy, Diego, and the Pokémon were running through the city, there were no signs of the Heartless around them.
"The coast is clear for now," Tracey said.
"Anyway, Rod, Laura, wasn't it? What are you doing here?" Sora asked.
"Basically looking for Ursula and those two, but there's another reason that we're here," Laura said. The youngest Alpha Gang members turned to Rex. "We're here to see you." The group were a bit confused.
"What?" Rex asked.
"For starters, Rex, you remember when you first met Max and Zoe?" Rod asked.
"Yeah, it was when my dad introduced me to them along with Dr. Taylor. What does that have to do with me?" Rex asked.
"Pretty much everything. Because the guy, Dr. Owen, isn't your real dad," Laura said.
"Wait, what?" Rex asked in utter shock. This bit of information was new to him and he didn't know how to process it.
"Wait, they might be trying to play a trick on you," Max said.
"Max might have a point. How do you know this?" Sora asked.
"We know because we were there," Laura said.
"To start things off, your real last name is Ancient. Your real dad is Dr. Ancient, and your mom is Dr. Cretacia. Like us, you're from the future. Your parents were the ones who found the Element Stones," Rod explained.
"With their technology, they were the ones who found that the hearts of the dinosaurs pleaded for their help from their extinction," Laura said.
"Hearts of the dinosaurs?" Sora asked.
"So cool," Max said.
"What exactly are the Element Stones?" Diego asked.
"The Element Stones are a set of 7 special stones. Six of these stones are that of fire, water, earth, lightning, wind, and grass," Laura explained.
"The seventh stone is known as the Center Stone which is different from the others," Rod said. "Our grandpa, Dr. Z stabbed them in the back shortly after you were born and had them placed in stasis pods. They've been there ever since."
"Okay, so why does this Dr. Z want with the dinosaur cards?" Ethan asked.
"Because he wants to be the Dinosaur King," Laura said.
"So he has Ursula and the other two gather them up and have the dinosaurs to be used as his personal army just so he can have his own Dinosaur Kingdom," Rod said.
"If you came here from the future, then why didn't you just go back to the future?" Kairi asked.
"Because our timeship, the Backlander was damaged when we got here, so we've been stuck here since," Rod said.
"So we've been trying to repair it and go back," Laura said.
"If what you're saying is true, then where are my parents?" Rex asked.
"At our base," Laura answered.
"Your base?" Everyone asked.
"Why doesn't sound so easy?" Sora groaned.
"No one ever said it would be easy, Sora," Leaf said.
"We could get there, but we gotta clear out all these Heartless before we do," Ash said.
Everyone all stayed silent as they start thinking.
In a restricted area of the Alpha Gang's base, Seth makes the final preparations for his plan.
"Everything is ready," Seth said. Just then, Helga came in and spotted Seth inside and came in.
"Seth! I don't recall Dr. Z giving you permission to be in here! I suggest you leave here at once or else no snacks for you for a week!" Helga said.
"Your empty threats means nothing to me. And I do not recquire permission to be anywhere. I have my own agenda to attend to," Seth said.
"You most certainly will not! I for-" Helga was cut off when a crimson blade pierced her chest. It's the blade of a broad sword that has its hilt resembling a cryolophosaurus. Instead of blood, oil gushed from the chest and the robot fell to the ground. "Su-ch aaaaaa naughtyefjsbshjdj." Helga started to malfunctioning. She shuts off.
"Now to make my dream a reality. With the power of darkness, I can rule all of time! I will become a God! Not even Organization XIII will stop me!" Seth exclaimed.
He uses the powers of darkness to take his leave.
Over to Team Rocket and the Alpha Trio, they managed to get loose of their restraints.
"Damn those brats for tying us up like this!" Ursula cursed.
"You and me both, sister! Wait until we get our hands on them!" Jessie said.
"Come on, Jessie, we have some work together to find them!" Ursula said.
"I think those two are even more alike then they're letting on," Ed said.
"You read my mind, Eddy," Meowth said.
Team Rocket and the Alpha Trio have taken off to find the group. Just when they trailed off, Ursula spotted Seth in the city with them.
"Seth! Good of you to come! I knew Dr. Z wouldn't leave us out to dry!" Ursula said.
"You would think I came here for you, but I'm actually here for me," Seth said.
"Here for you?" Zander asked.
"What are you talking about?" Ed asked.
"Who's he?" James asked.
"A frienemy of yours?" Meowth asked.
"You could think that," Zander said. Just then, two Alloslashes and a Tyrannosaurus Wrath appeared behind him. Team Rocket and the Alpha Trio flinched when they appeared. "Zander, watch out!"
"Heartless!" Team Rocket flinched.
"For what if I may ask?" Zander asked.
"For those things behind you!" Ed said.
"Oh, you mean these Heartless? They're amazing creatures, aren't they? They're just the perfect soldiers to serve under me," Seth said.
"Wait! Serve you?!" The Alpha Trio exclaimed in shock.
"Seth, what are you talking about? What are you saying?" Ursula asked. Seth just laughed hysterically.
"The Heartless attack going on was my own doing. I have cut a deal with Organization XIII and infect this city with Heartless. It's working even better than I could ever hope," Seth said as several Terrordactyls and Cyclodactyls appeared in the sky, flying above them. This leaves them even shocked.
"What? You sent the Heartless here?!" Meowth gasped.
"Are you crazy? What were you thinking? You think you can control the Heartless? The thing is, they're using you! Sooner or later, they'll double cross you and swallow your heart! And then you'll turn into one of them!" Jessie said. The Alpha Trio turned to Jessie with even more shock.
"YOU CAN TURN INTO A HEARTLESS?!" The Alpha Trio exclaimed in shock.
"Not a chance. My heart's too strong for them to swallow. And I'm too strong to become one," Seth said. "I have total control over the darkness, so I can command the Heartless just as easily as the dinosaurs. So the Alpha Gang became my little piggies. I was biding my time to make my move just so I could acquire the Element Stones for myself, but the D-Team became more of a nuisance than I thought."
"What are you planning?" Ursula asked.
"Nothing that should be of any concern to you. You all know too much, so I must silence you. Heartless, take care of them now," Seth said. The Heartless complied, forcing Team Rocket and the Alpha Trio to run for their lives. He chuckled to himself. "Soon, my ambitions will be complete."
Meanwhile, Dr. Z is seen walking around his base, searching for Rod, Laura, and Seth.
"Where could those useless dodos be? Never around when I need them, just like Ursula and those other two dodos. Helga should have found them by now," Dr. Z said to himself. He heard the sound of glitching and he gasped when he saw Helga laying on the floor, leaking oil. He ran up to her. "Helga, what happened? Who did this to you?"
"I-I-I-I-I-It w-w-w-w-w-w-was Se-Se-Se-Se-Seth!" Helga glitched until she goes out completely.
"Seth?" Dr. Z said, making contact with Seth through his communicator. Seth answered it. "Seth, I demand that you explain yourself!"
"There's nothing to explain, doctor. I am simply carrying on with my own plan," Seth said.
"What are you going on about?" Dr. Z demanded.
"You outlived your usefulness, you old fool," Seth said, breaking contact.
"Seth? Seth! Seth! Seth, I demand you answer me at once!" Dr. Z yelled.
Over to Seth, it shows that he smashed his communicator and took off. He grinned evilly as darkness seeps from his body.
"Those Alpha idiots. It's amazing about how short minded they are. Those fools will be stuck here forever while I have accomplished my goal," Seth said.
Back with Dr. Z, he angrily heads for a shuttle and uses it to take off to give Seth a good talking to.
"How dare he disrespect me like this! When I get through with him, he'll be sorry that he ever defied me!" Dr. Z exclaimed.
Meanwhile, Sora, Kairi, Ash, Leaf, Tracey, the D-Team, Rod, Laura, Eva, Jimmy, Diego, the Pokémon, and the dinosaurs have rescued some of the trapped civilians.
"The Pokémon Center's the safest place. Go and stay there until it's safe to come back out," Sora said.
"Pika," Pikachu said.
Not needing a second opinion, they rushed on out and headed for the Pokémon Center.
"Okay, they're good as safe," Ash said.
"Good isn't enough," a voice spoke. They turned and saw it was Seth standing above them from the roof of a building across from them.
"Who's he?" Leaf asked.
"Seth? What are you doing here?" Rod asked.
"When did you get here?" Laura asked.
"Just now. I'm impressed that you managed to survive here, D-Team, because I was hoping the Heartless would finish you off, but you would last longer than I originally thought. Xigbar did warn me how skilled you are with that Keyblade," Seth said.
"Xigbar?" Rex asked, not knowing who that is.
"Organization XIII!" Tracey exclaimed.
"So you and the Organization are behind this mess?" Sora asked.
"Pika?!" Pikachu asked.
"Of course. The Heartless were the means of drawing your attention, and it worked. I knew that the D-Team will come along, and join up against them," Seth said.
"Why are you doing this?" Zoe asked.
"Because I am capable of just about anything. The only reason I joined the Alpha Gang in the first place was to obtain the Element Stones and use them for myself. Dr. Z is such an idiot. He was too focused on being the Dinosaur King, he didn't see how his foolishness was the cause for our little meeting to become possible," Seth said.
"So you sent you sent all these Heartless here to attack," Max said.
"You're not going to get away with this!" Kairi said.
"I already have. I think I'll leave you with a parting gift," Seth said, summoning a couple of Tyrannosaurus Wraths. "Destroy them all." The Tyrannosaurus Wraths lunged at the group, so Sora, Kairi, Ash, and Leaf summoned their Keyblades and used them to block their assault. During the fight, Seth vanishes through the darkness and he laughed evilly. The tyrannosaurus-like Heartless chomps at the Keyblade wielders, but Max wasn't going to stand by and watch.
"Hold on!" Max said as Chomp reverted back as a card and held it. "Dino Slash! Go! Triceratops!" Chomp submerged and he transformed and grew to his rightful size. He took out his move card and swiped it. "Try this on for size! Thunder Bazooka!" He swipes the card and lightning crashes down on the triceratops. Chomp jumps into the air and spins around, gathering electricity around his body. He then shoots forward and slams into the Tyrannosaurus Wraths. Sora and Kairi lands the finishing moves on them, destroying them both. "You okay, Sora?"
"Yeah, thanks to you, Max," Sora said.
"Hold on, guys. Seth's gone!" Laura said, pointing to the building.
"He must have escaped while we were fighting," Leaf said.
"I can't believe that guy did this to us. When I get my hands on him, I'm going to make him wish he was never born," Eva said.
"You might want to wait in line, Eva," Diego said.
"This is unforgiveable. Seth caused this to happen and now he's doing this just so he could kill us," Rex said.
"We'll just have to find him and teach him a lesson he won't forget," Max said.
"Max is right. The only way to stop this mess is to cut the Heartless right at the source: Seth," Sora said.
"That's easier said than done, Sora, because he could be miles away from here by now," Zoe pointed out.
"She's right. He's not going to make it easy for us," Ash said.
It was clear that the face of the enemy has shown itself, and they knew he has to be stopped, but will they be able to do it and will they save the city and how will Rex react when he sees his real parents with his own eyes? Wait and see if you wanna find out.
