When Saturn Girl left from the room, she started walking. She didn't have a clear destination. She finally went to her room. She closed her eyes and though about Lightning Lad. Before she even understood it, she has fallen asleep.
She dreamed about Lightning Lad... She was with him. He was holding her hand and they were flying together over New Metropolis. They were looking at each other and were laughing. They were so happy!
Saturn Girl woke up. This was such a beautiful dream! She wished that it could be truth...
Suddenly, she sensed the thoughts of someone a few meters outside of her room. A feminine mind. Normally, she didn't read other people minds without their permission. But now, she was in such a terrible situation, that she couldn't control her amazing power. She read the person's mind. It was Phantom Girl and she was hesitant of opening her door.
A second ago, she heard Phantom Girl's knock on the door of her room.
"Come in Tinya", she said.
Phantom Girl came in the room with a bright smile over her face.
"Hey", she said to Imra grinning.
When Saturn Girl saw her, she stood up and embraced her.
"Phantom Girl, are you all right? Weren't you supposed to recover tomorrow?"
"I'm fine, Saturn Girl, don't worry. If you remember, Brainy said I would be perfect over one to two days. It seems that it took me only one day to recover".
"Oh, I'm so happy to see you, Tinya! I missed you".
"I missed you too Imra!", Phantom Girl exclaimed and hugged her again. "So... how do you feel?"
"Awful. I... I can't stand the fact that Lightning Lad is laying on a hospital bed and we have no idea about his situation".
"I'm sure he will manage to recover. He is a tough guy", Phantom Girl tried to calm her down.
"I know that... Wait a moment...", she said and looked over to the closed door. "Triplicate Girl, you can enter, don't hesitate".
Triplicate Girl entered. She was also smiling.
"You sense everything, don't you", she laughed.
"I do", Saturn Girl assured her also smiling.
The three girls hugged each other. They were best friends and loved each other very much. Every legionnaire had a strong bond with one another. However, some feelings have started lately among some members...
The girls broke their hug and laid to Saturn Girl's double bed.
"Well, Saturn...", Triplicate Girl started. "Do you remember when yesterday we were talking about Lad and you were blaming yourself about his current situation?"
"Of course I do", she nodded.
"I answered to you that it wasn't your fault. I also stated that Lightning Lad would do everything for you. You asked me why and I promised to you to talk about it later".
"Yes, I remember all this staff. So, are you gonna explain to me?"
"Later. We now need to do a test", Luornu said and gave Phantom Girl a mischievous look.
"Yes. You will answer to some questions", Phantom Girl agreed.
"Why do I have I to do that", Saturn Girl questioned.
"You'll find out... in the end!", Phantom Girl shouted and started laughing with Triplicate Girl.
"OK, OK, let's get over with that thing. I'm listening", Saturn Girl opened her hands in a gesture for them to start the questions.
"So, tell us about Lightning Lad. Describe him", Triplicate Girl said.
"That's a silly question. You know how Garth is. Why should I describe him to you?"
"Just do it", Phantom Girl shouted.
"OK. Well, he is tall, very muscular, he is ginger-haired. Oh and he has a robotic arm", Saturn Girl thought about Lightning Lad. "That doesn't make him less attractive though... Instead... He has such a beautiful smile, his blue eyes remind me of the sea... I can get lost into them... He can generate electricity. Regarding his character, he is a bit of a guy that gets mad easily, but he is so sweet, even when he is angry... He loves eating, especially Brin's cookies. He is just... gorgeous..."
The two other girls smiled and Phantom Girl asked her the next question.
"Great. The next question... why do you think Lightning Lad tried to save your life? Why he risked his own life for you?"
"I don't know. This is why I was wondering. I suppose... he felt that my life was in danger like the previous time... When I was in hospital... Anyway, I think he was afraid that I was going to have a serious brain damage, or something like that and as he considers me a sister, he was trying to be protective towards me".
"Do you think that this is why? Because he considers you a sister?", Phantom Girl asked again.
"Yes, why not?", Saturn Girl answered in confusion.
"The fun thing is that you are a telepath and you haven't understood anything...", she said to her.
"Like what? Say to me please! I will be in the awkward position to intrude in your mind", Saturn Girl said menacingly.
"Oh, I'm sure you won't do that. OK, let's go to the next question. How do you feel about Lightning Lad?", Triplicate Girl grinned.
"Um, this is pretty simple. I feel...", Imra started.
She found out that she couldn't answered that. It wasn't easy. She didn't know what to say. A few days ago, she would definitely say that she loved him, Garth has always been like a brother to her. But now... she understood that something has changed. She didn't feel the same. After Lightning Lad's accident -that has happened for her- something in her inside has turned upside down. She though about him and she felt her stomach being full with butterflies. What was that?
She explained everything to her friends. Suddenly, they started laughing. They seemed excited.
"Hey, what's up?", Saturn Girl asked. "Why are you laughing? Garth is in the hospital in a coma! You should be desperate and sad!"
"We don't laugh for that", Tinya replied to her.
"We found out that there is no need for further questions. We have come to our conclusion", Luornu added.
"We were so sure that it was that", Phantom Girl said and Triplicate Girl smiled because she agreed.
"And what is that? You have to tell me now", Saturn Girl wanted to know.
"First of all, Lightning Lad, Garth Ranzz, loves you with all his heart", Triplicate Girl made the very start.
"And the most serious... you love him too!", Phantom Girl shouted.
