Chapter 54: Kusa's Hospitality Part 4
"How many hours do we have left until the next shift comes in?" A guard asked his partner.
"Bro, we've only been standing guard for a couple hours now." His partner responded.
"Was that my question? Just answer the question instead of giving me sass!" The first guard replied back in annoyance.
The second guard checked the time. "Looks like we still got over 2 hours left. But sheesh. What's with all this attitude?"
"It's just that we weren't even supposed to stand night guard again so soon! We were supposed to have a few days off of night duty! But no, that damn new prisoner just had to go and injure the guards who were supposed to stand guard tonight! And fuck all these bugs!" the first guard shouted as he tried to swat away the bugs that were flying around him.
"It's always these newbies that don't know the unspoken rules yet. It always takes them a few weeks to be broken in. And learn things like not messing with Hanayama." The second guard responded. "But you're right. Also, is it just me, or are there more bugs than usual? Even for a summer night?"
The second guard was both baffled and increasingly growing concerned. There seemed to be way more bugs than what would seem natural.
"I don't know! Ugh! I hate summer! What the fuck!" The first guard yelled angrily, swiping at what seemed to be a growing number of bugs around him.
By now, it wasn't even like any swarm of bugs that one would often see in the summer. It was a literal cloud of bugs. And it only seemed to be growing denser and denser.
The two guards first tried to swat them away with growing intensity, until they decided to try and run away from the dense cloud of insects.
However, unbeknownst to them, they had been slowly growing weaker and weaker, as their chakra was being sapped away by this particular breed of insects.
"I-I can't even see where we're going!" the first guard yelled as he groped around to get his bearings.
"And… and I'm feeling… so… weak…" The second guard replied before he finally collapsed.
"H-hey! Get up! Wha- what's going on?" The first guard yelled as he felt his legs begin to wobble.
"M-my chakra! It… it feels so weak… a-are we under attac…" the first guard collapsed mid-speech as he joined his partner in unconsciousness.
After a few moments of silence, the cloud of bugs seemed to disappear into the shadows, from where 6 figures emerged.
"Good job, Mantis." A man in a dog mask commented as he stepped out.
The man in the mantis mask simply nodded.
"Genjutsu on cameras, complete, Ka- I mean, Dog-san." Izumi reported as her Sharingan faded back into her normal onyx-colored eyes.
"Coast is clear until the lobby, Taichou." Owl reported as he tied up the unconscious guards.
"Good. Now once we get this door open and get in, we'll be sticking to the shadows and moving in silence. Keep an eye out for any unexpected measures of surveillance or seals." Dog commanded, as Tiger turned his hand into a wooden lockpick and fiddled at the door.
"Door opened, Taichou." Tiger reported a couple moments later as his hand reformed from the wooden lockpick he used to open the door.
"Good. Looks like we're in." Dog commented. "Mantis, spread out your insects and try to locate our target, and Owl, keep an eye out for threats and our target."
Mantis and Owl nodded in silence.
"Alright team, let's move out."
The six figures disappeared from the area as suddenly as they appeared, leaving the bound and unconscious guards hidden in a nearby bush, covered with a genjutsu to prevent them from being spotted.
With Ryuzetsu
"Hmmm… now where would they be hiding that…" Ryuzetsu quietly whispered to herself as she sneaked around some secluded hallways.
She had been on her secret mission for some time now and had been searching the prison for any clues that might point her in the right direction. However, up until now, she hadn't had much luck.
'Are they even sure I'll find anything here? What if I'm just wasting my time?' Ryuzetsu thought to herself.
She shook her head as she tried to shake her doubts away. 'No. I'm sure it must be around here. It has to be. Mui being absent so often is proof of that.'
She continued snooping around, hoping to find something, when she came across a secluded hallway that seemed rarely visited, but had multiple faint footprints leading into it.
'Hmm… this looks promising…' She thought to herself as she looked behind her to see if anyone was around before she followed the hallway.
She hoped she had found something and held her breath as she followed along the hallway until a turn revealed a dead end.
"Damn it! A dead end!" She grumbled to herself.
She slumped down against a wall. It was getting tiring putting up a front in such a dangerous place, pretending to be just another prisoner and doing regular prisoner stuff, all while finding excuses to be missing for long periods of time in order to complete her mission. All that effort and she was making no progress.
"Damn it all!" She whispered aggressively as she slammed the wall with her fist.
She was surprised when the brick she hit happened to recede inwards upon contact.
"Huh? What the…"
Ryuzetsu watched the dead end in surprise as it swung open to reveal another hallway.
"Well… that's interesting." She whispered to herself as she looked around to make sure no one was watching her before she entered the newly revealed hallway.
Her hard work seemed to be paying off finally, as the hallway led to a series of stairs that led far below, where she could see a single lit torch.
That was evidence that someone was doing something secretive, right now, right here.
'Bingo.' Ryuzetsu thought to herself as a smirk broke out over her face.
Using all the stealth she could summon up, she made her way to the entrance way of a door where the torch was mounted by.
She heard the lowest of murmurs coming from behind the closed door and decided to put her ear to the crack between the door and the floor to hear more clearly.
"This Uzumaki is different… his chakra is way more potent and vaster than the girl's. It's… it's almost like that of a Jinchuuriki."" a voice commented.
'Huh? What are they talking about?' Ryuzetsu thought to herself.
"Amazing… these Uzumaki surprise me again and again." another voice said in awe.
'Uzumaki?' Ryuzetsu thought to herself. 'Are there any even left?'
"Let's stop wasting time then and get started right away then. The Grass Fruit Faction has been hiding for way too long. It's time we make ourselves known." a voice suggested.
'The Grass Fruit Faction! Oh no! They're already beginning to make their move!' Ryuzetsu realized in shock.
"Kusa has had to suffer indignation as a minor village for far too long. It's time that it takes its rightful place! It's time for Kusagakure to rise as the most powerful village!" another voice shouted, getting shouts of agreement from the others.
"Go bring the Uzumaki, Mui!" numerous voices called out.
'Shit! Whatever they're planning, they're starting things now! I gotta get out of here before I get caught!' Ryuzetsu thought in panic as she quickly absconded from the scene.
Ryuzetsu was panicking from the urgency of the situation as her mind raced. 'Is it too late to stop them? Have they already figured out a way to unlock the box?'
She was so lost in her thoughts as she ran away from the scene, that she was caught by surprise when she was suddenly seized by strong arms as she turned a corner.
"Gotcha!" Doppo said as he grabbed her.
"What the fuck are you doing, Doppo?! Let me go!" Ryuzetsu growled out in the lowest voice she was capable of producing as she quickly remembered to get her act back together.
"Now, now, Ryuzetsu-chan. No need to be so angry. We're all friends after all, aren't we." Shibukawa's voice emerged as he stepped forth from the shadows.
"You!" Ryuzetsu shouted angrily. "What the hell do you want!"
Her heart sank, wondering if Shibukawa had revealed her secret to the others.
"Oh, you know. Just wanted to spend some quality time with my cellmates you know. The real question is what are you doing here all alone? Snooping around?" Shibukawa said with a sly smile.
"Come on boss! Let's get started already!" Kuronagi said impatiently. "It feels like it's been an eternity since I last saw a woman!"
Ryuzetsu could hear her heart throbbing through her ears. Her secret was out.
Her eyes went over the faces of her cell mates, which were exuding lust.
"Y-You!" Ryuzetsu choked out in anger, now in her real voice.
"I should have killed you!" She screamed hatefully at Shibukawa.
Shibukawa feigned being hurt. "What? You'd kill your beloved cell leader? How you wound me Ryuzetsu-chan!"
"You were right! She does have a cute voice!" Kuronagi commented as he rubbed his palms together with a lecherous grin.
"Why don't we see the other secrets she's been hiding now?" Katsumi suggested as he began to reach for the front of Ryuzetsu's shirt.
Ryuzetsu knew what was coming next. However, she wasn't one to go down quietly.
Though she couldn't use her arms due to Doppo's hold around her from behind, she jumped backwards to bring her legs to her chest level, before explosively planting both of her feet into the incoming Katsumi's chest, sending both Katsumi and her and Doppo flying in opposite directions.
Doppo also lost his balance and fell to the ground, losing his grip on Ryuzetsu, just as she had intended.
She quickly sprang to her feet and quickly back pedaled to have all of her opponents in front of her, rather than stay surrounded.
"Told ya she was dangerous." Shibukawa told Katsumi and Doppo as they rose to their feet as well. "We'll need to work together to take her down."
"That's alright. I always did like my girls a little feisty!" Kuronagi said as he got into stance for a fight.
The 4 inmates slowly fanned out in front of her to ensure that Ryuzetsu would be unable to focus on them one at a time.
They glanced left and right and met each other's eyes before they nodded, a silent signal for them to charge together.
They sprang into action all at once, hoping to overwhelm her.
However, Ryuzetsu stood her ground, her eyes flickering between each of her opponents. The four male inmates that surrounded her were nothing but a blur of muscle and aggression, but Ryuzetsu was trained for this.
As the first punch flew towards her, she dodged it with ease, ducking low and spinning out of reach. Kuronagi, the one who had thrown the punch, stumbled past her, his momentum sending him careening into the wall. She turned to face him, ready to strike, but before she could move, Shibukawa was already upon her.
Shibukawa was old, but his reflexes were still sharp, and he was the most experienced fighter of the group. He threw a punch at Ryuzetsu's face, but she deftly dodged it, her body moving like a serpent. She countered with a swift kick to his midsection, but Shibukawa was too quick, grabbing her leg and pulling her off balance.
Ryuzetsu hit the ground hard, but she quickly scrambled to her feet, the other two inmates, Katsumi and Doppo, already closing in. She blocked a series of punches from Katsumi with her arms, but Doppo landed a brutal blow to her stomach that made her gasp for air.
The fight was turning against her, and Ryuzetsu knew it. She was outnumbered, and these men were strong. But she wasn't about to go down without a fight. She launched a series of kicks and punches, each one calculated and precise, but the four men were too much for her. They pushed her back against the wall, their combined weight pinning her there.
Ryuzetsu struggled against them, but she knew it was futile. She had given it her all, but in the end, the four men were just too much for her. She slumped against the wall, defeated.
"Let go of me you pigs, or I'll scream for the guards!" She threatened.
Shibukawa chuckled as he stepped back and began to untie the drawstring keeping his pants up.
"Go ahead. Scream. See who comes." He said confidently. "There won't be any guards coming around this way for the next couple hours. I'm sure that'll be enough time for us to have a little fun."
Shibukawa gestured with a nod to nonverbally tell Katsumi to take off Ryuzetsu's clothes once again.
Katsumi broke out into a lustful smile with a chuckle, as he began to reach for her once again.
Ryuzetsu tried with all her might to free herself and fight back, but there was nothing she could do, overpowered by the much stronger Doppo and Kuronagi.
She closed her eyes and tried her hardest to hold back a sob that choked out as Katsumi tore her shirt open.
"Heh, you know, they're not as bad as you made them sound, boss!" Kuronagi commented as Ryuzetsu tried once again to free her legs to no avail.
Shibukawa didn't reply to Kuronagi's comment, merely licking his lips hungrily.
"Alright, I'm gonna start first. You guys can have her after I'm done. Make sure she doesn't get away until then." He commented as he reached for her pants.
"I always did wonder how many people it would take to turn a man into a woman. Any guesses?" A familiar voice called out from behind the group, halting Shibukawa.
"Naruto?" Shibukawa called out as he turned around.
"Hmmm… I was expecting to hear a number as a response actually." Naruto responded.
Doppo grinned, misunderstanding the situation.
"Heh, so you changed your mind after all, eh? Well too bad, since you didn't do jack shit, you're gonna have to go last after we all finish!"
Shibukawa, however, grew concerned at Naruto's appearance, wondering why he was there, and how he was going to act.
Ryuzetsu also looked on, wondering if he was there to help or if he would join the others in their despicable act.
"I always thought you were all lowly scum. I mean, if anyone deserved to rot in prison for life, it would be you guys. So I guess I'm not that surprised that you guys couldn't keep your little dicks in your pants the moment you found out there was someone of the opposite sex." Naruto told his fellow cellmates.
The four male inmates made it clear that they were offended by Naruto's statement by the angry looks on their faces.
"Who the hell do you think you are? You're in here just like the rest of us!" Doppo growled out.
"You think you're some hot shot just because you took out a couple weakling guards?" Kuronagi shouted at Naruto. "Well let me tell you, you ain't shit!"
Shibukawa was a little more reserved with his response. He had seen that Naruto could handle himself against Hanayama. That was no small feat.
"Look. Mind your own business. If you don't like girls, that's on you, but move along instead of ruining things for us." Shibukawa suggested.
Naruto put his hand to his chin and feigned being thoughtful. "Hmm… Should I just move along? Or should I take out the trash?"
Katsumi was furious at Naruto's constant condescending tone. "Stop talking like you're some big shot! You think you're that much better than us? You think you can take us all on? We're no weaklings! If you think it'll be as easy as taking on some fat guards, you're in for a surprise!"
Naruto scratched the side of his nose. "Is this the part where I'm supposed to be scared?"
"That's it! I'm going to shut that big mouth of yours, once and for all!" Kuronagi screamed in rage.
It was now clear to Ryuzetsu that Naruto wasn't here to help them and could even potentially even help her.
"Naruto! Please! Help me! The two of us can take them out!" She pleaded.
"Doppo. Put her to sleep." Shibukawa commanded, realizing that she did have a point. Ryuzetsu alone was already more than a handful. He'd need all the advantages he could get if he wanted to take down Naruto, based on what he had seen in the fight between Naruto and Hanayama.
Doppo nodded and immediately put Ryuzetsu in a chokehold, rendering her unconscious in seconds.
He then ripped two long strips from Ryuzetsu's shirt and tied up her hands and feet while his 3 comrades faced Naruto.
"Do you feel safe enough to face little old me now? Got enough advantages?" Naruto asked sarcastically as Doppo got up from his task.
Kuronagi and Katsumi pulled out shanks that they had hidden under their clothes.
"I'm gonna enjoy cutting a permanent smile into that arrogant face of yours!" Kuronagi threatened.
"Oh no! Sharp pieces of metal!" Naruto said as he feigned fear. "What am I gonna do with my bare hands?"
He then made a show of slowly raising his palm, arm outstretched towards them.
"Kai." He said calmly, in a drastic shift from his jeering attitude from earlier.
In an instant, a Kiri ANBU ninjato appeared in his hand.
Naruto's four opponents took a step back in shock.
"W-what? H-how?" Kuronagi said in fear, his bravado from thinking he had the upper hand disappearing in an instant.
"Oh this? I had this sealed for a rainy day." Naruto replied nonchalantly.
"Sealed? Where? How? He didn't even have any scrolls!" Doppo pointed out.
"He must have had it sealed somewhere on his body. I haven't seen advanced sealing like that in a long time…" Shibukawa commented. "But how was he able to summon the chakra to unseal it?"
"Well, that will be my little secret." Naruto replied as he twirled his sword around his fingers.
"W-wait! That's not fair!" Katsumi complained. "You're armed!"
Naruto raised an eyebrow. "I don't recall saying I'd give you guys a fair fight. I'm a ninja, numbskulls. I'll take any advantage I can get. Besides, how fair was it for four guys to gang up on one woman?"
The four cellmates had nothing to say to that.
"Now are you guys just gonna continue yapping? Are you going to attack me, or am I going to have to attack first?" Naruto asked as he stopped spinning his sword and got into a stance.
The four inmates' eyes shifted side to side, looking at each other to see how they would act.
Naruto smirked the moment their eyes were off of him as he shocked everyone with his speed as he blazed into action. They were hardly able to react when Naruto had run through all of them and was standing in front of Ryuzetsu's unconscious body.
"H-huh? When did he get there?" Kuronagi asked as he turned his head to see where Naruto was standing.
The four inmates weren't sure if Naruto had even attacked them or if he had just run past them, until they noticed the front of their pants being stained a dark red.
"Wh-what the…" Was all Doppo could say before he felt something fall through one of his pant legs.
He stared at the object for a moment, not fully understanding what he was looking at, before a searing pain shot up through his crotch.
He began to tremble as he came to grips with what he was seeing.
"NOOOOOO!" Kuronagi wailed as he reached for his "black eel", which was lying on the ground in front of him.
Naruto quickly cut the bindings around Ryuzetsu's hands and feet as cries of pain and anguish loudly rang through the halls as the four inmates held their bloody crotches where their members were once attached as they writhed on the floor.
Naruto took off his shirt and put it around Ryuzetsu before he gave her a few gentle slaps to wake her up.
"Wh-what?" Ryuzetsu mumbled as she came to.
She quickly rose up to a sitting position when she heard the screams and cries of pain as she remembered the situation she had been in.
"Wh-what's going on?" She asked as she jumped to her feet.
"Well they didn't answer my question about how many people it would take to turn a man into a woman. Turns out it just takes one." Naruto replied as he rested his Kiri ANBU sword on his shoulder.
Ryuzetsu walked over to a writing Shibukawa before she picked up his member and shoved it in his mouth aggressively.
She squatted down until her face was nearly at Shibukawa's face level, with her hand still over Shibukawa's mouth.
"I told you, I'd shove this little, wrinkly dick in your mouth, if you ever dared to lay your grubby little hands on me, you little shit!" She growled out in an aggressive whisper through gritted teeth, before she stood up and kicked him in his face, knocking him out.
"Thanks for the help. I don't know what I would have done if you didn't show up at that moment." Ryuzetsu said to Naruto as she turned around to face him.
Naruto shrugged his shoulders. "Eh. It was no biggie. My parents taught me to take care of the trash as soon as possible instead of letting it sit around."
Ryuzetsu giggled at his joke before she realized that he was shirtless and that she was wearing his shirt.
She turned away and kicked Doppo unconscious to hide her blush.
"Umm… thanks by the way. For the shirt…" She said shyly.
"Well, I guess that's something else my parents taught me to do. Giving my jacket if I see someone cold." He replied.
"Looks like your parents taught you well, huh?" She replied as she quickly glanced back to admire his chiseled body, before quickly turning back around to not be caught gawking and going back to kicking the others unconscious.
A bittersweet smile formed on Naruto's face as memories of his time with his parents bubbled up and he subconsciously put his hand at his heart to soothe the pain that came with them.
"Yeah… I guess you could say that…"
He broke out of his thoughts when he heard the sound of numerous feet running in their direction.
"Shit. It must be the guards. I guess I shouldn't be surprised all their screaming and moaning attracted some attention, huh?" Naruto commented.
"Let's get out of here before its too late!" Ryuzetsu suggested as her eyes darted around for the best route for escape.
"No. It's too late. They're gonna be here any second. Look, I have business with them anyway, but you don't need to get yourself involved. Just go along with my act and pretend I knocked you out, ok?"
"What?" was all Ryuzetsu could say before a dozen guards were upon them.
"This might hurt." Naruto whispered so that only Ryuzetsu could hear, before he punched her in the face.
She was completely taken by surprise and crumpled to the floor. She wasn't quite sure what was going on, but pretended to be unconscious, going along with what she was last told.
"There he is!" One of the guards pointed out, right as he saw Naruto knock Ryuzetsu out.
The other guards behind him arrived at the scene around the same time and were about to rush Naruto until they saw the sword in his hand.
"H-hey! Where did he get that?" One guard pointed out.
Naruto turned around to give them an ominous grin. "Ah! My friends! I've been looking for you!"
He began to slowly walk towards them, and the guards back pedaled in fear to maintain the distance.
"H-hold it right there! Stop right where you are!" They commanded, but to no avail.
Naruto slowly started to pick up the pace, quickly recognizing a couple guards that he remembered enjoyed beating him.
He smiled as he lunged forward, his sword arm moving in a flash. A moment later, several hands were on the floor, with blood spurting out everywhere.
"AARGGHHHHH! FUCKER CUT MY HAND OFF!"
"Enjoy beating inmates with that stump!" Naruto mocked as the guards continued to back up.
"What's all this commotion about?" A low, authoritative voice called out from behind the guards.
"Mui-sama!" The guards replied as the crowded behind him.
"Why does this prisoner have a sword?" Mui asked calmly.
"W-we don't know!" They replied.
"No matter. I suppose we can interrogate him later." Mui responded as he raised his hand to activate the Tenro seal.
He expected Naruto to fall over in pain again, but this time he was surprised when Naruto lunged for him with his sword.
Mui used his honed reflexes to lunge backwards himself and was able to avoid being sliced completely in half, though he still took a small cut to the chest.
He jumped back once again to put even more space between him and Naruto and began to channel more chakra into his jutsu to increase the pain.
Naruto momentarily paused to adjust to the pain, but gave Mui a smirk as he continued to walk towards him again.
"What?" Mui gasped out in disbelief. "How are you still able to move? Your body should feel like you're melting from the inside!"
Naruto raised his sword. "It does. But then again, I guess I got used to that."
He then lunged for Mui once again, with Mui barely getting out of the way once again, though some of his long, silky black hair was sliced off.
Mui now knew he had to go all out, as he couldn't continue to count on dodging Naruto's sword.
He channeled the maximum amount of chakra into his Tenro seal.
Massive flames began to erupt from Naruto.
Even though Naruto had trained himself to endure extreme pain during his solitary confinement, this level of pain was too much. He tried to strike once more with his last bit of consciousness, but he soon collapsed into unconsciousness.
Mui released the seal and stumbled back into a wall to catch himself from the exertion and the shock of being attacked, before quickly straightening up.
He ran his hand through his hair to calm himself down and to regain the composed look the guards were used to seeing from him.
"Hand me your handcuffs." Mui ordered to the guard that was nearest, who promptly obeyed.
"You men can head back over to your posts. I'll deal with this troublemaker myself. He's much too dangerous. Take these injured inmates to the infirmary."
The guards saluted Mui and paired up to drag the inmates away, glad to be away from the threat of Naruto.
Mui picked up Naruto's sword and examined it.
'This looks like it's from Kiri… very similar to their ANBU swords if I remember correctly…' He mused to himself, wondering where he could have gotten it from.
He strapped it to his waist and slung Naruto over his shoulder.
'Alright. It's time.' He thought to himself, before he headed back to his secret hallway.
Unbeknownst to him or any of the guards that had thought she was unconscious, Ryuzetsu squinted one eye open to see what was going on as she was dragged away.
With the Rescue Team
The 6 Konoha ninja moved silently in the shadows, with the 4 ANBU moving in perfect synchronization, with Izumi and Shizune coordinating with them surprisingly well. Knowing that any mistake could mean the difference between a smoothly executed mission and a potential disaster, they took great care to avoid any detection, determined to make things go without a hitch.
Seeing two guards around the corner using his Byakugan, Owl used the ANBU hand signals to alert Kakashi and his team.
Kakashi nodded before signaling to Mantis to take care of them.
Mantis nodded as Kikaichu began to pour out of his sleeves.
Izumi tapped on Kakashi's shoulder to indicate she was going to do something to help.
Kakashi wasn't sure what she had planned but decided to see what she was going to do, since they could easily take care of two guards quickly if things went wrong.
Izumi hid right behind the corner the two guards were approaching and began weaving hand seals.
When she had completed her genjutsu, the darkness of the hallway subtly began to grow so dark that the guards couldn't see through it, though it happened so subtly that they didn't even notice.
Izumi took advantage of that to step into the hallway and make eye contact with the guards whilst remaining unseen.
Under her genjutsu, the guards didn't even notice the swarm of insects descending upon them, and their scrambled senses didn't even feel the Kikaichu crawling all over them.
They continued to talk and walk as if nothing was wrong until they collapsed.
Kakashi's one visible eye widened in pleasant surprise. Now that was a useful combination. He could definitely make great use of someone of her talents in his team. Too bad the Uchiha were off the table for the ANBU until they recovered their numbers.
The group continued to stealthily move along, following Mantis' Kikaichu who had locked onto Naruto's scent for guidance, quickly and quietly dispatching solitary guards on their way.
The tracker Kikaichu soon led them towards the infirmary.
Owl held his hand up to stop the team.
'There are over a dozen guards in and around the infirmary that Mantis' tracker led us to. Target is not present in the room.' He signaled to his captain. 'Waiting for your orders.'
Kakashi began to think of what course of action he should take.
'So, Naruto isn't here huh… But Mantis' tracker led us here… That must mean there is someone here who has his scent. That means they were either in close proximity to him not too long ago, or they have something that belongs to him… We need to interrogate them.' Kakashi thought to himself.
The team waited in silence as he began to cook up a plan.
'We need to draw out the guards to take care of them, before we go in and extract the person with info on the Target.' Kakashi signaled to his ANBU team.
'Can you identify the exact person in question?' Kakashi asked Mantis with hand gestures.
Mantis nodded. 'I can arrange for my Kikaichu to form a signal on the person, so Owl can see.'
Kakashi nodded. 'Hmm… what's the best way to take them out before they call for help…'
Shizune and Izumi looked at each other, wondering what was going on.
Izumi tapped on Kakashi's shoulder before making eye contact with him.
She activated her Sharingan and cast a genjutsu on him to communicate with him through an illusion.
"What is going on? Talk to me using your Sharingan." She said to Kakashi in her genjutsu, before releasing it.
Kakashi once again was impressed with Izumi's quick thinking and utilization of her Sharingan. He lifted his forehead protector covering his Sharingan and cast a genjutsu on her in response and explained the situation.
Izumi then cast a genjutsu on Shizune to explain the situation to her as well, so she wouldn't be the only one not knowing what was going on.
Shizune silently brought her hands together, delighted that she could finally help out.
She gestured using basic body language to tell Kakashi that she could take care of the job.
Kakashi wondered what she was planning. He knew she was a brilliant medic-nin, but he wasn't sure of what she could do in the field.
'Taichou, target identified.' Owl signaled to Kakashi.
Kakashi nodded. 'Any other guards around us, other than the ones in the room?'
Owl shook his head.
Kakashi turned to Shizune.
"What do you plan on doing?" He whispered quietly.
"Poison gas."
Kakashi raised an eyebrow. "You remember we need the target for questioning right? Alive?"
Shizune nodded. "It'll only knock them out temporarily. And I got the antidote."
Kakashi slowly nodded, seeing how this could be a highly effective maneuver.
He shrugged. "Alright then. Show us what you got."
Shizune smiled as she nodded eagerly. After being a medic-nin and glorified secretary for so long, it was kind of fun and exciting to be doing field work.
Izumi once again cast a genjutsu so that a darkness would hide Shizune from the two guards in front of the infirmary, and Shizune began to weave her hand signs from its cover.
With the final hand seal, she opened her mouth and began to pour out a dense cloud of poison that was hard to see in the dimly lit hallway.
"Wait, what the…" was the only thing the guards could say before they slumped over.
Once Shizune could see the two guards on the outside were down, she moved closer to the infirmary doors so that her poison could seep in through the cracks of the door.
Owl watched inside the room to see what would happen and was surprised by the scary effectiveness of Shizune's poison in an enclosed area. Starting from the ones closest to the door, everyone inside quickly fell unconscious.
'Everyone down.' Owl signaled.
Kakashi's one visible eye widened once again. What a scary ability. Under the right circumstances, he realized Shizune could be a terrifying foe.
Shizune signaled for the team to come over as she deactivated her jutsu and dispelled the poisonous gases.
Once the team was inside, Owl walked over and pointed at Ryuzetsu.
Seeing how everyone was now unconscious, Kakashi spoke up. "Well done. I'm very impressed, Shizune-san."
Shizune blushed at the praise. "Thank you, Dog-san." She replied.
'Let's get her out of here to a more secure location for the interrogation.' Kakashi signaled to his team.
The team nodded, and Tiger slung Ryuzetsu over his shoulder, before the team moved out.
In a Different Room in Hozuki Prison
"Can you wake her up so we can ask her some questions?" Kakashi asked Shizune after they were sure nobody else was around their somewhat secluded room.
Shizune nodded and administered the antidote to Ryuzetsu.
"Huh…? What's going on?" Ryuzetsu mumbled to herself as she came to.
She tried to jolt up when she saw numerous Konoha ANBU surrounding her but found that she was bound in some wooden body prison and unable to move.
"Wh-who are you guys? What do you want from me?" She asked.
The man in the dog mask held up a picture of Naruto. "We want to know what you know of this man, and where he is right now."
"Naruto? You guys know Naruto?" Ryuzetsu asked.
"Yes." Was the simple response she got back.
She looked over them with a critical eye trying to assess if they were looking to harm Naruto or help him.
"What do you want with him?" She asked.
"We'll be asking the questions here." Dog replied. "Now once again, what do you know of Naruto and where he is right now?"
Ryuzetsu wasn't sure they were on his side, but decided she had little choice but to play along.
"He's my cellmate. He didn't really share much about himself so I don't know too much about him. But he's… better than the others in here."
She noticed the look on Izumi's face when she said the last part and realized that they were at least probably not looking to harm him and could possibly be from his village even. Her time in Kusa's ANBU had given her the experience to tell at least that much.
"Where is he? And why do you have his scent on you?" Kakashi asked.
Ryuzetsu's face blushed as she turned her gaze away from Kakashi. "W-well… I'm kinda wearing his shirt right now…"
Both of Izumi's eyebrows shot up. "Oh?"
"I was… attacked by some of the others… Naruto came and helped me… Gave me his shirt when he saw that mine was torn." Ryuzetsu explained.
A smirk formed on Izumi's face. "Oh. Is that so?"
Kakashi gave a slight cough to remind Izumi to focus.
"How long ago was this? And where is he now?" Kakashi asked.
"It couldn't have even been an hour ago! I mean, depending on how long I was unconscious that is." Ryuzetsu replied.
"And as to his current whereabouts?" Kakakshi continued to probe.
"I'm not 100% sure but I have a pretty good idea!" She responded.
Kakashi looked at the rest of his team quickly, before he turned to face her again.
"Can you take us there?"

Finally back! Sorry for the long hiatus of sorts! I didn't mean to take so long, but so many things came up all at once, that I barely had time to write! I feel awful making you guys wait so long, with many of you wondering if the story was dropped and all, but it really couldn't be helped. Sorry about that! BUT! The story will not be dropped! I made a commitment to myself to see this story through!
As I wrote this chapter, I realized some of you may be put off by the vulgar content of the chapter, but keep in mind that this is in a prison with some of the worst prisoners in the Naruto world being held here. They're going to talk vulgarly and do some terrible things.
