"Nix?"
"Hm?"
"Do you believe that there's someone out there for you, Nix?"
"Tony, I believe that I have a soulmate and to be honest; I have stood by him recently but I didn't tell him that he was my soulmate because I didn't want to force him. I wanted to get to know him and understand him; so I could help him should he need it."
Tony let Phoenix's words wash over him for a moment or two then he asked, "Nix, am I..."
"Yes, you are , Tony."
"Wow! But why didn't you say anything, Nix?"
Pepper quietly wondered that as well and heard Phoenix's response, "Tony, I didn't want you to feel like you were trapped. I couldn't do that to you because you were a gentleman that I just met and I wanted to get to know you without the soulmate bond getting in the way. I wanted to get to know the man that Fate wanted for me."
Tony smiled a true smile and said, "Thanks, Nix and I'm glad I got to know you as well the soulmate thing getting in the way."
"You're welcome, Tony. I was concerned about telling you because I wasn't exactly sure what you thought about the possibility of soulmates being a reality."
Tony and Phoenix kept talking a bit more.
Somewhere in the countryside of New York...
Laura Barton saw an owl fly into her kitchen and knew that it was probably from Clint's goddaughter. She gave the owl some water and a treat and opened the letter and read:
Uncle Hawk and Aunt Laura,
I am in the States because the second Magical war is over. However, we have a problem of great importance. I don't know if some of Magical friends and family will be able to make it; but I'm asking if you all will come to a private wedding ceremony at Potter Manor in California.
Apparently, some articles jumped to conclusions about me and my soulmate; so the boardmembers demanding that we wed immediately. My soulmate is Tony Stark in case Uncle Hawk forgot to tell you, Aunt Laura.

Laura was stunned that she hollered for the kids immediately.
The Barton children came at their mother's call but they couldn't help but wonder what was wrong.
"Mom, what is it?" Nathaniel asked concerned.
"Yeah, I mean you sounded worried or upset; I couldn't which one it was." Lila said.
"Where's your father?" Laura asked.
"He's putting the archery equipment away as fast as he can since he heard the tone in your voice, Mom." Cooper said.
At that moment, Clint walked through the door of their little farmhouse and saw an owl at the table then he saw Laura holding what appeared to be a letter.
"Huh, there's an owl; so, I am guessing that Phoenix wrote?" Clint said.
"She has and she's here in the states. Well, more accurately, she's in Malibu, California and met her soulmate, Tony." Laura said.
"Um...okay?" Clint said getting a feeling that there was more.
"Dad, Cousin Phoenix and Tony are getting married." Lila said.
Clint looked at Laura and said, "Is that true?"
"Yes, Clint it's true. Otherwise, she probably wouldn't have written. From what I can tell in the letter from Phoenix; it seems that the boardmembers of his company are pushing for the immediate wedding thinking that Tony got her pregnant." Laura said.
Clint was sort of growling.
"Dad, Phoenix said that the boardmembers jumped to that conclusion because of a few articles where Tony and Phoenix had met each other a few times just to get to know each other by talking. She also says that when Tony had gone to the meeting with the boardmembers; they ambushed him demanding that he marry her right away." Nathaniel said
"What?!" Clint said.
"Phoenix says that she's going to go through with it, apparently but the wedding ceremony will be private and only friends and family will attend. Which means that the boardmembers won't be there; plus, Phoenix is cautious of an Obadiah Stane that works at Stark Industries." Laura said.
Clint sighed and said, "Leave it to Nix to be protective of her soulmate. Also, SHIELD has been watching Obadiah Stane for a while since Tony inherited his father's company for sometime now."
"Phoenix said that they'll have the wedding at Potter Manor." Laura said.
Clint chuckled and said, "I get the feeling as to why she'll have it there."
"Why would she have it there, Dad?" Cooper asked.
"Well, the Magical World/Community is somewhat different than ours and their pictures talk and move." Clint said.
The kids looked at their father in confusion. Then Laura decided to help out by saying, "Kids, the reason that Phoenix is having the private ceremony at Potter Manor is so her family and ancestors can witness her big day because she is the only one left of the Potter family."
Clint looked at Laura and said, "That's not all, Laura."
"What do you mean, Clint?" Laura said.
"Phoenix plans to combine her bloodline with Tony's bloodline; which means that the Stark name will be known within the Magical World/Communities now as Lord and Lady Anthony Edward Stark when in any Magical Community around the world. Both Tony and Nix will answer to MCUSA after they wed each other." Clint said.
Laura was shocked to hear that and said, "If SHIELD decides to check on Phoenix, Clint?"
Clint grinned and said, "Let's just say that Fury wouldn't want to piss off a Phoenix because if she feels that her family or friends are threatened then she'll set them a flame."
"So now, instead of 'Don't piss off a Hawk' ; it's now, 'Don't piss off a Phoenix' as a warning for members of SHIELD?" Laura said.
"Oh, you still don't piss off a Hawk because now the Hawk has a mythical bird to help him out and you don't want to piss her off as well." Clint said with a smile.
Laura and his children laughed at that.
"Well, I guess we will need to get ready to go to a wedding ceremony?" Clint said looking at Laura.
Laura nodded.
A month later...
Everyone that was to the private wedding ceremony of Tony Stark and Phoenix Potter who's name was originally Harriet had arrived at Potter Manor. Everyone was amazed at the decor that was around the Manor.
Rhodey and Pepper were with Tony in one part of the Manor. They were trying to get Tony to calm down; when a young boy came in.
"What can I help you with kiddo?" Tony asked curiously.
"Nothing, but I brought you letter from the bride. Also, to let you know that you're marrying my godmother which makes you my godfather by marriage." The young boy said.
Tony smiled at the young boy and said, "Then you must be Teddy because Nix talked about you a lot."
The young boy nodded to confirm what Tony said and then he said, "I am happy that you'll make my godmother happy because you like her for her and nothing else."
"That's true, kiddo. I like her for who she is and not what she stands for in the Magical Community of Britain. I know your godmother were just getting to know each other and something unexpected like this happens." Tony said.
Teddy smiled at Tony and said, "Even if it's unexpected, Uncle Tony; Aunt Nix is just happy that's it with you regardless of those idiots who call themselves boardmembers that jumped conclusions because of those articles."
Pepper and Rhodey were stunned that the kid called Tony, Uncle Tony and apparently, he didn't seem bothered by it.
"Well, I guess I ought to send Nix a letter then." Tony stated as he sat down to write something for Nix.
"Aunt Nix suggested that you read the letter, Uncle Tony." Teddy said.
"Okay." Tony said as he opened the letter and began to read:
Tony,
I know we had just started a friendship over the couple months that I had was getting use to living in the states; more likely Malibu,California. I have appreciated every moment of it because you and your friends were very kind to me. I know that you weren't exactly expecting this to happen like it has and I am sorry that it has.
Also, Tony, know that I will stand by you always and I will fight by your side should you need me to. You are an amazing person regardless of what those idiots of the Press think about; trust me, I've delt with Press like that since I was eleven years old. Basically, I know exactly how you feel when it comes to the Press at times.
So, here's to a new start on life as husband and wife. I will always have your back, Tony. Through it all, I will aways love you and cherish you.

You're the only guy that I can see myself with because you're special in your own way; even if you act like a big kid at times and shows me how much of a heart that you have even if you don't show it all the time.
Tony finished reading the letter that Nix wrote and it brought tears to his eyes that he wrote something simple; but elegant in response to her letter.
When Tony finished his response; he let Teddy take to his godmother/Aunt Phoenix.
In another part of Potter Manor...
Phoenix was literally being done up by Fluer, Andromeda, Narcissa, Laura, Lila and Astoria.
Lily had just walked into her portrait that was in the room where Phoenix was getting ready and said, "Sweetie, I want to thank you from letting us be a part of this."
"You're welcome, Mum. Tony said it only seemed fair to have my family a part of it; but I sort of invited his parents as well because they needed to be here for him as well." Phoenix stated.
"How did you do that, Nix?" Laura asked curiously.
"I'm Mistress of Death which I asked Death if Howard and Maria could attend as a surprise for Tony." Phoenix said softly.
A few minutes later...
The ceremony started and Tony along with Pepper, Rhodey, and Happy saw the ghostly figures of Howard and Maria Stark standing there. However, they didn't say a word.
Although, Tony was quite happy to see the spirit of his parents for his wedding; he wondered if Phoenix had something to do with it since she had basically told him, Pepper, Happy, and Rhodey that she was a witch.
However, when Nix was lead down the aisle by her godfather to meet him at the altar to be wed to each other; he was stylish by her beauty and by her dress that she wore to marry him in.
The wedding ceremony was a mixture of muggle and magical wedding traditions; which Tony thought was pretty unique when they arrived at the wedding reception after the ceremony.
It was like a huge party in a way but the way; it been put together so quickly was amazing. However, Tony and Phoenix picked out one of their wedding photos for the Press to have in both worlds.
Meanwhile, somewhere in California...
Obadiah Stane was making plans well basically putting his plans into action for Tony Stark; however, he had to add Tony's bride and possible heir into the equation of those plans.
Little did he know that; when Phoenix first met him that she didn't like him or that she was a member of the royal court of the Queen of England as well as a Royal Air Force Captain and former MI6 Agent in a way. Or that she had connections to an organization known as SHIELD.
Several weeks later...
Tony and Phoenix were back in Malibu, California after spending their somewhat of a honeymoon at Potter even after the ceremony and they were immediately mobbed at the airport regardless of of Tony's private plane.
Both Tony and Phoenix answered some questions for the Press not letting them know that it was actually because of the Press that they had to actually get married as early as they did to each other.
"Mr. Stark, now that you're a married man and officially off the market; what are you planning to do?" A reporter asked curiously.
Tony looked at the reporter and said, "I plan to show my wife how Stark Industries is ran and probably go over with her on designs on our home away from home."
Phoenix smiled because they had talked with all the portraits of the Potter Family along three portraits that had been added to the mix; to see what their reactions was on Potter-Stark Manor getting an updated upgrade since Phoenix had combined the bloodlines with her husband's bloodline.
The reporters kept at it with the questions; while Happy was trying to get them to the car and to head to their home here in Malibu.
Inside the car...
"Well, that wasn't exactly what I was expecting when we returned from getting married at one of the Estates that belong to your family." Tony said.
"Trust me, the Magical community's Press is worse in Britain." Phoenix said.
"I'll take your word for it, dear." Tony said.
"To be honest, I am glad to be back home in California with you, Tony." Phoenix said.
"Same here, Nix." Tony said as Happy pulled up to their home.
"How much do you want bet that Pepper and Rhodey did something to the Manor that you created here in Malibu, Tony?" Phoenix asked curiously.
"If they fixed the Stark Malibu Manor as you like to call the home that I created before we met with somethings that are interesting to both you and myself; I'll be surprised, my love." Tony stated.
"Well, our lives have intertwined for a reason; but I wouldn't trade for the world, Tony." Phoenix said.
"Don't think I would either, Nix. However, I wonder how the boardmembers and Obadiah are taking the news of our marriage?" Tony said.
At Stark Industries...
Obadiah and the boardmembers were stunned by hearing the news that Tony secretly married Phoenix already in a remote location where no Press could attend the wedding; but they had already released some of the pictures of the wedding.
However, they had also been stunned to learn that the Royal Family of London had attended the private wedding ceremony; which meant that Tony's wife had ties with the Royal Family.
"This is really surprising that Howard's son married someone with ties to the Royal Family." A boardmember said.
"This could be good for Stark Industries." Another boardmember said.
Obadiah Stane wasn't sure how his plan for Tony would work now that Tony married nobility. However, he was still going to go through with his plan.
Three months later...
Phoenix kept Pepper close and quietly spoke with her when Obadiah entered the room; which he had been trying to convince Mrs. Stark that Tony was dead.
However, she would say constantly for him to show her the proof that Tony was dead. She said directly to the members of the board and she told them off in a manner of nobility as well as that of a Stark.
Somewhere in Afghanistan...
Tony was aware that his wife was not giving up on him at all. He recalled that she had told him that they would have a special connection not with just their marriage vows but with magic as well.
"Tell me, Stark, do you have family?" Yinsen asked.
"I do and she's my wife along with my friends, Pepper, Rhodey, and Happy. However, my wife does have a tendency to get very upset if someone tries to hurt the people that we both care about." Tony said.
Yinsen seemed confused.
"My wife temper can roll off of her like flames like a Phoenix from mythology and it is an amazing sight to see." Tony said.
"Ah, I think that I understand, Stark. Your wife's anger makes her an exotic beauty." Yinsen said.
"In a way, it does; plus she doesn't shit anyone." Tony said.
Tony and Yinsen continued talking and discussing Tony's plan to escape to get back to his wife.
Back in California...
Phoenix went down to Tony's workshop/lab and told Jarvis that she didn't want to be disturbed. Jarvis agreed reluctantly if only she comes up for her meals which she agreeded to.
Happy and Pepper always came by to check on Phoenix since Rhodey was searching for Tony in Afghanistan.
"Where's Nix?" Happy asked curiously.
"In Tony's workshop." Pepper said.
"What is she doing in there?" Happy questioned.
"Ma'am, is going into her MI6 training as well as her Royal Air Force Training in order to locate, sir; Mr. Hogan."
Both Pepper and Happy were stunned to hear what Phoenix was doing from Jarvis.
After a few minutes, Phoenix came up from the workshop to eat and saw Pepper and Happy.
"Hello." Phoenix said.
"Mrs. Stark, Obadiah has been insisting that you let him have control over the company since he believes Tony be dead." Pepper said.
Phoenix grinned and said, "Tony's not dead or I would've automatically joined him in death."
Happy and Pepper were shocked to hear that.
"What do you mean, ma'am?" Happy asked curiously.
"Tony and I are soulmates. Meaning if one of us dies then the other would follow a few days later." Phoenix said.
"And if you and Tony had kids together?" Pepper asked curiously.
"They would be raised by their Godparents in our stead." Phoenix said.
"Who would be their Godparents?" Happy asked.
"Well, Tony and I were talking about that a bit and decided that Pepper would be godmother while you and Rhodey are godfathers. So that leaves one more person to be godmother." Phoenix stated.
Pepper and Happy felt honored to be Godparents of Tony's and Phoenix's children and they were sure that Rhodey would feel the same way.
"So, any luck on what you were doing, Nix?" Pepper asked.
"Yeah, Tony's alive but he's being tortured and being forced to do something. The only thing is; I can't get his exact location which makes me wonder if there's a wizard or witch among the people that have captured Tony." Phoenix said.
"Tortured?!" Both Pepper and Happy said in unison.
"Yes, tortured." Nix said.
"How do you know that, ma'am?" Happy asked.
"Well, I can feel Tony's pain that they put him through even the waterboarding." Phoenix said.
Pepper gasped at the mention of Tony being waterboarded and said, "Nix, when you and Tony married you said that you and Tony have a connection to each other."
Phoenix nodded and said, "I wasn't lying about that, Pepper. It's a soulmate bond well connection meaning in a way; Tony and I can communicate telepathically of sorts. However, I do know that Tony is in a cave somewhere in Afghanistan."
"But how?" Happy asked looking at Phoenix.
Phoenix sighed and said, "Sometimes it is a rare thing in the Magical communities for soulmates. When there is a soulmate bond in place rare things can occur like telepathic communications between spouses among other things. I told Tony about it."
"What did he say when you told him?" Pepper asked curiously.
"He said that it would come handy if we wanted private conversations to actually be private and that it also would mean that we couldn't hide anything from each other." Phoenix stated.
An hour or so later...
Rhodey called letting them know that they had found Tony and was bringing him home.
"Happy, I hope you told Rhodey that we'll meet them at the airport?" Phoenix said.
"I did, ma'am." Happy said.
A year later...
Phoenix, Pepper, and Tony were in New York where Stark Tower was completed. When Agent Phil Coulson entered the room holding documents in his hand.
"What's so important to bring you here, Agent?" Tony said.
"We need your help, Stark." Phil stated.
Phoenix took the documents from Phil and handed them to Tony; who decided to go ahead and look through them with Phoenix.
"Does Mrs. Stark have to look through them as well?" Phil questioned.
Pepper looked at Phil and said, "When Nix married Tony; she vowed to fight by his side unless he said otherwise. Nix was part of MI6 as well as the Britain's Royal Air Force."
Phil blinked and realized that Mrs. Stark would probably be coming with Tony to the Helicraft Carrier. It was also going to interesting to see how Fury was going to react to Tony's wife.
"So, Nix, what are you thinking?" Phil heard Tony ask his wife.
"Honestly, Tony, I think that there's more to this than just the cube and it's power." Phoenix said looking at Tony.
"Well, this is going to be an adventure in itself then." Tony said.
"Yeah and I keep my word, Tony." Nix said.
"I know, sweetheart. We've been married for almost five years now." Tony said.
Phil was shocked to learn that.
Moments later aboard the Helicraft Carrier...
Natasha, Bruce, and Steve along with Fury saw Phil walking with Stark and a woman. They all wondered who the woman was with Tony Stark was.
They saw that the woman was right in step with Tony. However, Natasha recalled that she's the woman that never left Tony's side.
"Phil, who is the woman exactly?" Fury questioned curiously.
"That would be Mrs.Tony Stark beside Tony." Phil said.
"So Howard's son married?" Steve said quietly.
"Yes and apparently they were married before Tony became Iron Man." Phil said.
Steve, Bruce, Natasha, and Fury were stunned to hear that.
Tony was making several comments on some of SHIELD's tech a bit; while his wife was staring at Captain America, Steve Rogers for a moment or two. Then she turned back to Tony.
"Why did she look at me?" Steve questioned.
"I don't know, Captain." Phil said.
Then they heard Tony say, "Honey?"
"Hm?" They heard the woman answer.
"Do you think a few upgrades to the car worth it?" Tony asked.
The woman raised a eyebrow and said, " Tony are you planning to update the car that I bought into a James Bond type car?"
"Sort of." Tony said.
The woman shook her head and said, "I think I know why you really want to do that, love."
Tony just smiled and said, "It was just an idea."
"I'll think about it, Tony." Phoenix said.
"Okay." Tony said.
An hour later...
Steve, Bruce, and Tony were in the lab; however, Steve's comment got Phoenix that she said, "Captain, refrain from your actions at the moment."
Steve looked at the woman and then looked at Tony and said, "So, you're letting your wife fight your battles, Stark!"
"My wife doesn't fight my battles but she joins them." Tony stated.
Natasha wondered what Tony meant by that.
Suddenly, the carrier jerked causing Nix slam into Tony. They both looked at each other and knew that this wasn't good.
30 minutes later...
Nix was with Phil when he was murdered in front of her eyes. Loki was curious about the woman that was beside the downed agent. He also noticed that the woman handed the agent something and said something very quietly the agent.
Then woman faced Loki and said, "This isn't you and you know it! You son of bitch!"
Loki could tell that the woman was angry with him; so he decided to kidnap her.
Moments later, Fury arrived with a medical team and was surprised that Phil was alive; however, Phil looked at Fury and said, "Loki took Mrs. Stark."
"Damn!" Fury said as he watched Phil be taken to Med Bay, "Tony isn't going like that."
Fury hated being right because Tony was upset that his wife had been kidnapped by Loki and walked off; Steve followed him just to make sure that he was okay.
Meanwhile...
Phoenix was coming around and she realized that she was at their home away from home sort of speak.
"You're awake?" Loki said.
"Yes and you are going to pay for hurting my family, Loki!" Phoenix said.
"Oh? But you're a weak little mortal." Loki said.
"I'm not weak, Loki. I married my husband because he was the first person to see me as me and not what everyone else saw me as. I married him and I cherish him, I love him regardless of what everyone else thinks. Some people called him the Merchant of Death; well he married the Mistress of Death which is me!" Phoenix said.
Loki blinked.
Unbeknownst to Loki and Phoenix; Jarvis had been recording the conversation and played privately back to Tony.
On the Helicraft carrier...
Tony was listening to the recording when Steve walked up to him and told him that they would get his wife back.
Tony just nodded but then made a comment about Phil just to get a rise out of Steve. Then he was talking about what Loki was doing then he realized that Nix was at Stark Tower and said, "Shit!"
Steve watched as Tony took off in a run to suit up; then Steve went to find Natasha and tell her that they were going to follow Tony.
Meanwhile, Natasha was with Clint and was giving him information after she had knocked him up side the head.
At that moment, Steve poked his head in asking Natasha if she could fly the Quinjet; but before she answered, Clint said, "I can."
As they made their way to the Quinjet; Steve told Natasha that they had get Tony's wife back from Loki.
Clint suddenly started laughing even though he was really angry with Loki.
"What's so funny, Clint?" Natasha questioned.
"By the time Tony reaches his wife; Loki will already have bruises and possibly a few injuries." Clint said.
"What do you mean, Eye of Hawk?" Thor questioned.
"Let's just say that Tony's wife was MI6 and a British Royal Air Force Captain and worked closely with the Queen of England herself as a member of the Royal Court." Clint said.
Thor was stunned and said, "Man of Iron married a warrior honored by royalty?"
"He did and trust me; when Tony is Iron Man; his wife is always beside him no matter what." Clint said.
"How did Tony manage to marry someone like that?!" Steve questioned.
"Clint, how do you know all this?" Natasha asked.
Clint chuckled and said, "Nat, I overheard you tell Phil that a woman named Nix kicked your butt after you took Happy down in Tony's boxing ring."
"I mean how did you know that Tony was married when Fury, Phil, and myself just found out about it." Natasha said.
Clint chuckled and said, "I was at the wedding ceremony and reception. The ceremony was very unique."
"Eye of Hawk, that doesn't exactly explain how you know Lady Stark." Thor said.
"Funny. I can't believe you and Phil didn't recognize her. I mean you knew when she was fourteen; but then again, people do change in what I want to say six years but I could be wrong." Clint said.
Natasha blinked for a moment or two as she processed what Clint was saying. Then she said looking at Clint, "No! That couldn't have been!"
Clint just grinned and said, "By the way, Nat, she said you were definitely going to get it on the report you did for Fury on Tony."
"You mean the report that says Tony doesn't play nice with others?" Steve asked.
"That's the one. Nix says that even Fury has crossed the line with her but not like Loki has." Clint said.
"What line has my brother crossed with Lady Stark?" Thor asked Clint curiously.
Steve took a few sips of water and just as Clint said, "I just happen to be Mrs. Stark's Godfather and when anyone harms family or friends; well let's just say that Nix doesn't take it too kindly when they are being used. " Steve spewed water everywhere.
"Clint, are you saying Little Phoenix is married to Tony Stark?!" Natasha said.
"Well, she goes by Phoenix or Nix now." Clint said, "Which means that she doesn't use her real name anymore, Nat."
Steve was having a hard time following the conversation as was Thor for a moment.
45 minutes later...
The Quinjet crashed at the bottom of Stark Tower and Tony was coming in for landing with his arms.
"Not one of best landings." Clint said coming out followed by the others.
"No one is prefect all the time, Uncle Hawk." A feminine voice said.
Clint looked to see Phoenix with Tony, who was in a mood then said, "Do I even want to know?"
"Probably not, because my wife just pulled a James Bond sort of stunt." Tony stated.
"What do you mean, Tony?" Steve questioned.
Tony looked at Steve and said, "There are times when my wife lives more dangerously than I do, Capsicle."
"Tony?"
Tony turned to Nix and said, "Yes, sweetheart?"
"Tony, you can put me down now." Nix said.
"Sure thing, Nix." Tony said.
Clint hugged his goddaughter who in turn returned his hug and then looked at Tony and said, "At least you handle it well, Tony; when she gets herself into unexpected situations."
"Yeah but now most of those situations include both of us now and not just her." Tony stated.
Natasha was just staring at the young woman that had been fourteen and half when she and Phil had helped Clint with her training to fight a mad man named Voldemort.
Nix turned towards Natasha and said, "Don't be shocked, Black Widow. My life has always been my own; but Tony made it adventurous in more ways than one."
Tony literally blushed at what the others might think in how his wife said that.
Steve blushed assuming what it meant.
"When I said Tony made my life adventurous; I meant that he became my friend first and he made treated me like a normal person compared to some people." Nix said.
"Oh?" Steve said.
"Yeah and what people wrote about husband doesn't mean a damn because I know the man who he really is." Nix said.
Before Steve could say something else an arrow went flying by him and hit an alien between the eyes behind him.
"Nice shot, dear." Tony said.
"Thanks, honey. Tony, Jarvis will keep you and I in contact with each other while the other ear peice keeps us in contact with each other and SHIELD. " Nix said.
Meanwhile, on the Helicraft carrier...
Fury and Agent Hill had seen Mrs. Stark fire that arrow pretty close to Captain Rogers.
"Did I just see Mrs. Stark pull a Hawkeye?!" Fury said.
"Yes, sir but she is very skilled and she handed her husband something." Agent Hill stated.
"Do we know what it was?" Fury questioned.
