An Impulse Decision

Zelda is missing and Link has set off to find her, alone. Three of his closest friends make the impulsive decision to join Link on his journey to help find their missing friend. But by doing so, they will take part in a series of events that will not only change the world they live in, but also themselves. A Skyward Sword AU where Pipit, Karane, and Fledge joins Link.

30. ANNOUNCEMENT

Apologies to those expecting a new chapter, but I felt the need to share this.

By now we all seen the latest Tears of the Kingdom Trailer. Since then I've been thinking about this...

The game is less than a month away. Where I am in 'An Impulse Decision' is where I wanted to show my take on what went on during Hylia's time before Skyward Sword. From what we have seen so far, there are a lot of themes from SkSw in TotK. It looks to me like there's a good possibility that TotK may show lore on what went down during Hylia's time. So, without wanting to risk contradicting lore, I'm putting the fic on hold until I see the story. How long the hold would depend on what TotK shows.

If the game introduces lore that won't effect with my ideas, it won't be on hold for long. If it DOES effect them, I will need time to rework things to make them fit.

In the meantime, I will be doing some revisions to the existing chapters. I use Grammarly and recently upgraded to Premium, making it more helpful to revise this story and my other fics to the highest quality possible. Both copies her and AO3 will be going through changes.

I apologize greatly to those who have been reading this. I promise you the next time I update, this will be deleted with the new chapter taking it's place. Thank you.
