Somehow, against all odds, Bowser had already come back to life once before. He had changed the future now, a future in which Bowser had remained dead upon his second death. That had to be constant in this future too. Mario lit his rival's body on fire. They wouldn't be seeing each other again, at least not in this timeline. All that would be left soon would be ashes, Kamek be damned.
Exiting the door behind Bowser's burning body, Mario knew, that even if he did it without honour, Bowser deserved his death. He choked Dinohattan, ruined Daisy's life, caused a practical genetic apartheid and murdered his own children. Heading up a flight of stairs, Mario opened up another door and he felt less claustrophobic. They were in the captain's cabin, which was open to the main deck on the sides.
"Cage... cage... what does that mean?" Luvbi whispered to herself.
"Now what?" Mario asked, while he began to move the flagship back towards Delfino Isle, aiming directly for whatever was left of the Statue of Kamek.
"What is she trying to tell us?" Luvbi wondered about the message from the future. "Cage... cage... I'm missing something..."
"They said they knew what was best for us!" came the voice of Heronicus from... somewhere, but it was playing on the speakers on the last Shy Squad airships which neared the flagship. What were they coming for here now? Of course, they didn't know Bowser was already dead. "They said they knew what was coming next!" They began to fire missiles at the flagship! If this kept up the entire ship would be downed! "Did you see this coming, old man? Did you, Bowser?" He had to get ready, these Shy Guys meant to board them!
Luvbi gasped and whispered loudly enough, "The dragon!"
"You ain't going to place Secondus on the throne, we're going to place the Kumo in the ground!"
Suddenly, Luvbi grabbed a pipe and began hitting a steam statue on the side. She kept on banging on it. She kept hitting it while spelling out the letters of the word 'CAGE'. Then she pulled out the steam pipes of the statue. "It's not a word, Mario... it's a song!" Suddenly, Gloomtail came roaring through the sky and landed on the deck. Smashing all the Shy Guys off it and destroying their two airships, the dragon smashed through the front window and rested its head next to Luvbi, who went and hugged it. "It's okay, I'm here now," she comforted it. "Will you help me?" It raised its head and looked at her. "Will you do this? Just this one last thing? Please?" The dragon nodded, raised its head and flew up. "Go, Mario, go, go, go - he'll help us! We can use Gloomtail against the Shy Guy fleet!" Jumping on to the main deck, Mario realized that at least fifty Shy Guys were boarding.
Two giant zeppelins were coming off to the side and at least nine small airships were coming off on the side. Grabbing a steam pipe, Mario threw it at one of the Shy Guys and impaled him. This caused steam to go off and cause some of the other Shy Guys to fall. Grabbing an oxygen tank, Mario threw it into the steam filled area and a fireball after it. Pointing at the Shy Guys' zeppelin, Mario yelled to Luvbi, "Tell him to take that one down!"
"You thought the streets were paved with gold?" Heronicus rallied his troops. "They were paved with blood, sweat and tears... our blood, sweat and tears! Today our tears become gold! Your tears become blood!"
Mario turned to Luvbi and yelled, "Get back behind the wheel and take this thing to Kamek Island!" She quickly played the pipes and, in an instant, Gloomtail came crashing down on the airship. The dragon breathed its green poison breath onto the ship, likely killing everyone aboard.
Swinging himself on to the cables, Mario jumped up to the first of the nine small airships. Punching a hole in the engine, Mario was lucky that the poison breath had killed the men on the first three airships. He quickly took those down again as well. That was when he noticed the remaining men on the actual main deck attacking the engine. He needed to stop them, but he also needed to destroy the other airships... wait, Gloomtail. "Luvbi!" Mario pointed at the other airships. She played the pipe and Gloomtail descended on some of the airships. Heading, down, Mario attacked the Shy Guys in front of the engine and finally took care of all of them and was nearly knocked overboard by a missile from the other zeppelin. That one was armoured and reinforced, Mario yelled for Luvbi and told her to send Gloomtail to it. She gave the order, but the dragon was still busy taking out the airships. That order would have to wait.
Getting on the cable, Mario rode them and took the jump and landed on the side of the zeppelin. Sliding down, he headed to the captain's quarters. Burning them all down, Mario destroyed Heronicus last... then he smashed the engine and began to feel it descend. Jumping out, Mario hoped he could make it to the flagship. No and he was falling for the ocean below. Then he was uplifted, Gloomtail had caught him, it had interpreted the orders but when it saw the dirigible down picked him up instead. In a second, his feet were back at the deck.
Noticing Luvbi at the bow of the flagship, Mario ran for her and noticed what she was looking at. Kamek Tower there, broken and busted but Delfino Isle behind it... aflame. There was fire everywhere, Mario wondered how it must have looked like from the ground. The clouds were below Delfino Isle, and above it were the clouds of smoke. "Mario, come here," she called for him and pointed to Kamek Tower. "Look, you can use Gloomtail to tear the whole damn thing down. Destroy the Siphon." Mario took the pipes.
"Tear it down, tear it all down," whispered Mario and he played the tune. Gloomtail undercut the flagship and flew up before descending down into the middle of the tower. Rubble rose up, suddenly explosions came from the left of the tower - blue, electrically making crackling noises. Then it seemed as if the tower was... splitting apart and then it sucked in for a second and exploded. More and smaller explosions lit out from the ruins of the tower, making arcs like they were fireworks. Mario looked at Luvbi, her crystal embedded itself into her chest and melted into her. She seemed to fade in and out of existence then, in and out. She was all white, like she was from a piece of paper. The ship rumbled, and Mario dropped the pipes and in an instant, he realized the danger. "The dragon, Luvbi! I've lost control!" Then he saw Gloomtail, flying, roaring in rage and coming right at them.
"No, he isn't," whispered Luvbi and all went white as she flicked her wrist.
"Where is he? Where is he? Where are we?" Mario asked. It looked like they were in the hold of another ship, but an actual ship this time. Or a submarine, they were… underwater? There was a glass pane of water, a giant window. There was, seaweed? Suddenly Gloomtail came before them, banging on the window.
Luvbi put her hand next to it's. Gloomtail was struggling. The pressure under the water was too much for it to bear. It had to get up to the surface if it wanted to live but it would not leave her wherever this was. It knew it was going to die, but she soothed it. "Just let go," said Luvbi. "Just let go." It looked at her one last time and fell back as the life seeped out of it. "There you go. There you go."
"Luvbi, I'm sorry," consoled Mario. Then he looked behind and around, it was all fancy, like a slightly large prison used to be here but got all renovated. "What is this place?"
"It's the hold of the Flying Krock one year into the future," said Luvbi. "It's a pipeline… the only one like it. This way." She motioned for him to follow him to the cells where King K. Rool kept his prisoners. Luigi kept none it seemed.
"What do you mean, one way into the future?" asked Mario. "Where are you going?"
"In two hours after all of this is done, Luigi will step on land," she said, "and he will reject his curse and all the Godly gifts it gave him as he embraces the… the love of the Daisy you knew in Dinohattan… we won't be there to see that." She stopped walking in front of the same cell door where Rool kept Mario. "Come on. Yes, it's this way!"
"What… Bowser said about Peach… is there answer here?" asked Mario. "Do you –."
"In here!" said Luvbi and Mario followed her into the cell and then she uplifted floorboards. Instead of a rush of water coming in and enveloping them, there was a stairwell leading further down. Of course, this was a magical vessel, blessed by Kalypso's power. Of course, it wouldn't obey the size one could give it by looking at it.
Mario still followed her down the stairs that were not there before. Continuing on, they kept walking through the path that was there. It was still part of the Flying Krock, after all, it still had the same design and design choices that Luigi would have chosen - everything was green. Then they opened to another large area, a lobby like area. Luvbi was standing at another door at the end of the lobby. How the hell did Luigi add all this to the Flying Krock? Did he turn it into a warship? Or was it always there?
"Mario, this is where we have to go," instructed Luvbi and she opened the door beyond which they could see nothing, but a white which extended inwards.
"Why? What is going on?" asked Mario. "What do you mean, this is a pipeline?"
"I'll have to show you."
"Probably going to regret this."
They stepped into the white and out in front of a large green pipe, water all around them. "Come on, come on, this way," Luvbi made him follow her. She looked around as they got to the lighthouse door. "Look at that? A million gateways into the nexus all opening at once – all once closed by Antasma. My God, they're beautiful."
"What? The stars?"
Luvbi tried to open the door, but it wouldn't open. "Damn it! It's no good... I thought once we were here, I could fully open it. I can remember everything!"
"What's that?" Mario asked, pointing to a shiny Gold Coin near the ground.
"It's a key."
"Where did it come from?"
"It's always been there." Picking it up, Mario opened the door on the side of the green pipe and... Luvbi was already waiting on the other side. "See, not stars. They're gates. To everywhere. All of the timeline is available for choosing." Mario looked around and she was right. The stars may have been there, but there was an unending number of pipes. Some close to Mario and some far away. The infinity presented before him was indeed beautiful, if not overwhelming.
As Luvbi walked, a path crumbled up in front of her as she walked. "What are these pipes?"
"Look closer…. they're gateways… to a million, million different points in time," explained Luvbi and she began to move forward to the ocean. Yet with every step she took, the path opened itself up before her. A way forth was created with their every step. "Points that we've lived through, points that were before us, after us and some that may never happen. Constants and variables."
"What?"
"There's always a kidnapper. There's always a princess and there's always a plumber...," her voice trailed off.
"How do you know that?"
"I can see the timeline through the pipes," answered Luvbi. "You... me, Delfino Isle, Gloomtail... sometimes, something's different... yet the same."
"Constants and variables," nodded Mario as they walked. He was getting it now. When Luvbi opened portals between the past and the future, she could also see all the points in the timeline that could have been... the timeline that was, to some other version of their two universes.
"Yes."
Continuing on to another pipe, Mario opened the door. Luvbi was already on the other side. It was dawn here, not light. There was... another version of them up ahead, at a different lighthouse. This Mario was wearing a bright red cap, navy blue overalls and a red shirt with white gloves. The Luvbi… the Daisy… had long brown hair, a golden crown and was wearing a beautiful yellow, orange dress. "It's us," said Mario.
"Not exactly," Luvbi shook her head. "We swim at different points in the timeline, but land on the same shore. It's not us now but it's what we could become."
They continued on walking, but Mario could not keep his eye off their duplicates. "I don't understand," he admitted.
"You don't need to. It'll happen all the same."
"Why?"
"Because it does. Because it has. Because it will."
"There are so many choices."
"They all lead us to the same place… where it started."
"No one tells me where to go."
"Mario… you've already been."
On to the next one, and Mario opened the door. Everything seemed black and white and... familiar. "Wait a minute I know this place," whispered Mario as he looked around. Teenagers in the water, playing and having fun. Mario turned to Luvbi. "I was here, decades ago," he told her. "I was a kid. Right after math class one day we came here." It was Long Island Beach. "I was looking for..." Then he fell in the water, raggedy, weary and he was with Big.
"Come on now, time is wasting," Eddie shouted and jumped into the water.
"Why were you here?" asked Luvbi.
"Are you ready to have fun! Are you ready to have your sins painted on? Are you ready to be born again?" yelled Eddie in that Michael Buffer voice he would do and he came before Mario, extended his gun out. Sammy Rai was looking dirt down in the sand under the water below the two of them. He was cowering in fear. He was going to die, and he knew it. Big practically prodded the gun to Mario begging him to join the gang. "Take it!"
"No… I don't want to," realized Mario.
"But you already did," said Luvbi. "Didn't you?"
And Mario realized what he had to do.
"C'mon, my guy!" laughed Eddie.
"All right," whispered Mario.
"Do you want to be a part of my mafia? The Chicago Outfit!"
"I do."
"Do you want to give in to the New York City wickedness?"
"Yes."
"Do you want to dirty the slate," hissed Big, "forget all we were before and be born again as Gods in the New York City fire?"
"Yes."
"Then by the Scapelli powers vested in me," Big satirically proselytized, he handed Mario the gun. Mario twirled it and held it above Sammy's head, laughing. This was going to be hilarious. They'd get away it with it too! Big's cousin was on the NYPD and if that didn't pan out, Jerome Scapelli would protect them! He was a huge part of the Chicago Outfit! They would be untouchable! It'd be great… no… no it was… wrong. Mario's father hadn't raised him that way!
"No, no, no, wait - stop it!" Mario cried out. "No! Get off! Get off!" Eddie tackled him into the water and he almost fell under, so he shook off Big and ran off, ashamed and embarrassed not for running away but for almost selling his soul. He pushed past his friends and all the colour returned to the world, then they all disappeared. Only Luvbi remained behind in the scene from his youth.
"You didn't go through with it?" asked Luvbi.
"You think killing some prick in the water is going to change what I'll do?" scoffed Mario. "Let's get out of here. These doors of yours, they're all portals, right? Well open one up! Open one up to Luigi or Toad or the Daisy I knew! I want to be shut of all this!"
"Not until we find out."
"Bowser's dead!"
"No. Kamek was here. This way."
Walking to the beach restroom, Mario pushed open the door and they walked through. They were in his office, there, at the other end was the man who had offered him the deal. He was wearing a violet robe with yellow linings and a strange long black hat with yellow spots. Bring them the girl and they would wipe away the debt. Once again, everything seemed extremely dark - black and white, just like those dreams.
"And what of my debts?" Mario heard himself say.
"Bring us the girl, wipe away the debt," answered the man.
"This is the man who hired me to find you," Mario told Luvbi.
"Really?" she asked, disbelieving of the statement.
"Yes. The girl for the debt."
What was that noise... in the room next to him? Singing, a girl singing. "Wait, no, no, this is wrong." He pushed the door open, and there she was: Peach, as young as Mario remembered, dancing and singing. "There was no... there... there wasn't Peach. I remember." That made him angry, what was this? "No, Peach wasn't in this and… if there was I sure as Hell wouldn't hand her over to this guy!"
"Mario, you don't leave this room until you do," said Luvbi.
"Mario? Time is running out," came the man's voice from behind him. "Bring us the girl and wipe away the debt." The man was blocking the exit to the room. As much as he regretted it, Mario grabbed Peach's hand. She turned to him and started to smile.
"No," whispered Mario.
"You can wait as long as you want," said Luvbi, looking his sins in the eye. "Eventually, you'll give him what he wants."
"How do you know all this?"
"I can see all the pipes and what's within all the pipes and within one of them," she paused. "I see him."
"Bowser," whispered Mario. He turned to see the man in broad daylight. "What choice do I have?" He passed Peach's hand off to the man and she seemed agitated, angry, she looked at him with disappointment and Mario felt a rut in his stomach.
"The debt is paid," nodded the man. "By the power vested in me as Kamek, I wash you of all your sins." The door shut and immediately feeling regret, Mario pulled it open and stumbled in.
He was back on that rowboat. That same rowboat he was on before he was sent up to Delfino Isle. The two who dropped him off were there. It was that same scene all over again, only this time Luvbi was on the rowboat with him. Those two who dropped him off… it really was Iggy and Wendy the whole time. "Bring us the girl and wipe away the debt!" said Luvbi, raising her voice over the torrent of the rain.
"Peach wasn't the girl!" cried Mario. Suddenly he felt wobbly, like he was disappearing or something. "The deal was I go to Deflino Isle to get you!" Then it hit him like a shockwave right in his memories. Something was happening. "No…," he groaned, "I remember… what I remember."
"Now we've upset him," said Iggy.
"I don't suppose this next bit will do much for his mood," said Wendy as the boat came to rest near a pier before a giant red pipe.
"Come on," said Luvbi and they got out of the boat and climbed the ladder up to the pier. Mario felt like he couldn't walk. What was going on?
"What are we doing here? Bowser's dead," said Mario. "We can just, go on with our lives, we don't need to..."
"Dead?" asked Luvbi. "You mean like Count Bleck? Like Mowz? No. He is alive in a million, million timelines. It's not over because the Avatar is dead. It will only be over when he never even lived in the first place."
Mario opened the door at the red pipe and stumbled into an alleyway.
"Hey," groaned Mario as he walked forth. He could see Peach standing there, at the end of the hallway with a worried look on her face. There was a portal in a hall in the alleyway, with the man who he had given her to right by it. Beside him, holding Peach's hand was… blue suit, blue hat, fine Rolex watches and those Gucci glasses that hid his dark eyes… Kamek.
"Hey, the deal is off!" shouted Mario and he ran down the alleyway even though it seemed like the distance between him and Peach was endless. "Do you hear me? The deal is off! Give her back!"
"Hey... hey the deal is off!" Mario shouted once more, and he ran towards the man. He wasn't aware that he was repeating his dialogue, over and over again. "Do you hear me? The deal is off! Give her back!"
"The portal is unstable, Mushroom King," Kamek said to the other man as he looked into the portal, arguing with someone on the other.
They were all the way at the end. He had to run fast. He had to save her.
"That's fine, hurry," responded the Mushroom King.
Fast.
Kamek turned to Mario and pulled out a long knife. "You will not get between us."
Getting closer.
"This is going to get uncomfortable if you don't come," the Mushroom King's voice crackled. "We didn't travel all the way through Subcon for nothing!"
Closer.
"If I get caught by the Muus or Mamus it's going to be a long time before we see each other," responded Kamek.
Almost there.
"We're going to lose our window!"
"Give her back, you son of a bitch!" yelled Mario and he grabbed Kamek on the arm. In anger, Kamek sliced Mario on the arm and opened up a portal. A portal like that which Luvbi created all the time. Kamek pushed Mario off with such force and he hit the wall behind him. Walking through with Peach as she cried for Mario, Kamek snickered at the plumber. "No, no, no! Peach!" cried Mario as his eyes welled up. He tried to lunge for the portal, but it closed up. His head hurt tremendously from the impact. Everything faded to white. "No, no, no. Peach. No. I'm so sorry, Luvbi. I'm so sorry."
He was back in his office. Fan twirling slowly. That was the worst day of his life. He had repressed it. The worst day of his life. Pauline was the only one who… who… oh God. He immediately ran for the door, to see if Peach was in there.
"She's been gone for a long, long time Mario," said Luvbi. "Peach is gone. You shared this room with your regret for years, until Luigi found a version of me after she broke plates in a cafe. You had your chances at redemption but squandered them until one day a man came and gave you one more chance. A chance for Luigi and I to be together."
Luvbi opened up a portal to a dock in New York. There was no turning back now. Mario walked through and fell down. His mind hurt and it was jumbling. It was painful. He keeled over. Iggy and Wendy kept saying things they had said before. He kept hearing them, but he had no idea how to respond. Was he having a seizure?
"Peach," said Mario, groggily and over and over again. Everything seemed to warp into existence, like the buzzing on an old nineties' television set. Then they said something, Iggy and Wendy about memories and his mind reconciling them by manufacturing new memories… before it once again faded to white.
"Mario wake up." He quickly jerked back awake and he was back on the damn boat! Those two were rowing and Luvbi was in front of him. "This is where it started."
"I sold her… I sold her…," said Mario. It wasn't exactly like that, but it felt like it. It was more like he sold their chance at happiness, so a kingdom could live… but it had never ever felt like that… and now the wound was fresh.
"To your credit you did try to weasel out of the deal," said Wendy.
"This is all Bowser's fault," Mario dryly told Luvbi. "What if I went back, killed him before he did any of this?"
"How would one know how far back to go?" asked Iggy.
"That's the only way to do it," decided Mario. "Take me all the way back to when my soul was split in two, and I'll smother the son of a bitch in our crib." Getting up to the pipe, Mario put his hand on its door, preparing to open it, but Luvbi put her hand on his. Stopping him for a second.
"Mario," she whispered. "Are you sure this is what you want to do?"
"I have to," he nodded. "It's the only to fix what I've done to Peach." He pushed open the door and there was white, and then he was back on the beach, the Long Island one, that early morning with a blazing New Sun in the sky giving him all the light he needed. He knew somehow that the star was Geno, though they had never met. Eddie Scapelli stood in front him, offering him the gun. "What is this?" asked Mario and Luvbi kept coming closer to him. "Why are we back here?"
"This isn't the same place, Mario," answered Daisy.
"Of course, it is," he denied. "I remember. Wait..." Suddenly, another girl came from his right... another Daisy? "You're not..." Then another Daisy from the left, this girl had red dyed streaks in her hair. "Who are you?" Where was Daisy? This wasn't her. Had she stayed behind? Had only he entered the door? Then another Daisy with bouncing brown hair and a medieval yellow dress came from the left. There was one who looked just like Luvbi but with a scar. One with a broken arm came from the right and they kept piling up.
"You chose to walk away from being an executor," said Daisy, or one of her. They kept continuing each other's sentences. "But in other timelines, you took the gun and shot Sammy Rai in the head. You became a killer, and you were born again as a different man."
"Kamek," whispered Mario. That was all it took, giving into Eddie's pressure and the lust for power. That was all it took for him to die as Mario and live as Kamek.
"It all has to end," said the Daisies. "To stop him from taking any more power. Not just from this world, but from all ours."
"Smother Bowser in the crib," said Mario and he realized it all. He stood in Subcon within the nexus in stark recognition of his own fate. He knew everything that had gone on, not just what he'd seen. He saw how Bowser's tampering with the timeline had cracked a hole in reality. How the crack had attracted a cancer from an alternate future in the name of Waluigi, a sick twisted perversion of his brother from a future that he could make sure would never be. How the crack had ever been allowed to become so big by Wario's thievery against the Gods, locking the gates into the nexus in which he now stood with his feet wet. Then there was Wart's ambition, which had until a few moments ago kept all of the Muus in chains, forcing them to watch as the crack that only they could fix continued to grow.
"Smother," repeated all of the Daisy's in front of Mario. Kamek was just an idea and they had to smother Bowser in the crib to prevent the idea from ever being born. Bowser was born of Kamek and Kamek was born of Mario who was only born of Kamek's tampering with the timeline. This would be his final battle with Bowser across every single timeline in the Multiverse. Kamek had to be forgotten for Bowser to never be born. The universe would be set right. When the Quartz Charm returned the Gold Coins into the gates, it opened the path into Subcon for all of them. With the cancer gone, the free Muus now watched over the host of Daisy's prepared as they would stop the timeline from ever being hurt. "Smother."
"Smother him in the crib," the Daisies said in unison. "Before the choice is made. Before you are reborn."
A Luvbi came to his left with hatred within her that told him everything he needed to know about the kind of life that she had lived. She stared at Mario in anguish, and he knew that in her timeline, he had tortured and pillaged everything that she had ever held dear. He was a demon, a plague, a scourge in her life and there was nothing worth hating more. He stared back and looked at her, the scars on her arm, her tattered hair and the rags she wore and knew there was no absolution. There would never be any absolution for she was just a modest reminder of what those that she knew and those that she had loved had been through. She felt no pity for him, there was no becoming like him as a consequence for killing him. The crimes that Kamek had committed in her life all came from his soul. She grabbed his arm and said, "He's Kamek."
His Daisy came to his right and looked him in the eye with the fond sisterly remembrance of how he rescued her from King Koopa and reunited her with her father. With a smile, she reminded him of how upset he was when Luigi decided to pay for her breaking the plates at the café. Of how he told her it was okay when she left him to be taken away by the Puftoss. Together, they stopped Bowser from merging the dimensions, destroyed King K. Rool and made Luigi a God. She smiled to him again, as if pleading for him to turn back and let Bowser live only so he could too. If only so he and Pauline could sit with her and Luigi and whatever children they would have as a family. If only so she could tell him about her time as Queen, her adventures masquerading as Syrup and how she won the war with Wario. He smiled gently at her and through it, told her not to cry for when she went back home, all she would have to do was wait for Luigi. She grabbed his other arm and in solidarity with him said, "He's Mario."
With those words, there was a solid understanding amongst all Daisies, though, and the decision was unanimous amongst them. The Daisy in the middle grabbed his throat and prepared to drop him in the water. The timeline was bigger than all of them. It had to heal.
"No," said Mario. "I'm both."
And they put him under.
One by one, every timeline that could be cured of Kamek's perversion was fixed by the Muus as more and more Daisies disappeared into the timelines that would now never be born or remembered.
Soon, there was only one left.
Mario awoke with a jolt. He was in a room, kind of like his office. It was more royal, looking though. There was pink all around, was someone cooking mushroom stew? That was the smell that came from the door opposite him. At his desk were no papers, but bobbleheads... of strange cartoon looking versions of Bowser, Rool and Lord Crump. He nearly fell back, there were glasses. Like the ones Kamek wore, like the ones the Magikoopas modeled theirs after. The bed by the desk was fancy, not like anything he'd ever slept in. He looked in the mirror. He was young again, he seemed to be barely twenty-five. He was practically a teenager again. He knew for a brief moment out of time that Daisy had given him and everyone else another chance at everything.
"Peach?"
Mario's eyes darted to the door to the side, just like the one he had used to give Peach to Kamek. Then that memory faded too, for it never was.
Opening it slightly, Mario did so slowly and faced the ground, but just before he looked up, all he could ask was, "Peach? Is that you?"
End.
