Chapter 2
After Haddie can't see Amber anymore she walks out to the trash and buries the bag lower in the garbage so that nobody can find it and puts the cover and looks around before going inside and shuts the door again and goes upstairs to wash her hands in the bathroom then goes to her room to start on her homework and is very nervous most of the afternoon.
Kristina comes home from work with Max and a take out dinner
"Haddie!" she calls and gets to no response
"Haddie!" she calls again making her way upstairs and opens Haddie's dooe
"Had..." she says and ses Haddie with her earphones in
"Haddie dinner is here!" Kristina says loudly over her music
Haddie jumps ripping her headphones out.
"Mom, God geeze don't you knock!" Haddie gets upset
"Don't god me!" Kristina yells at her
"Is everything okay with you?" Kristina wonders being a bit scared by Haddie
"ye..." she swallows "yea everything;s fine mom." Haddie tells her
"okay, fine you just seem very nervous." Kristina tells her
"Nervous.. Haddie just looks pale "no not nervous at all." Haddie tells her in a nervous tone
"okay I'll just meet you downstairs." Kristina tells her
"oh well I'm not very uh hungry and have homework to d.." Haddie tries to get out
Kristina just looks oddly and meaningly at her.
"be right down." Haddie tells her watching her walks out and sighs loudly and goes downstairs
