Liam Harris went to check on the four prisoners who were arrested, checking the jail cell but the cell was empty.
"There's a door here." Liam knew by the evidence of the door that Devin used alchemy to escape.
"The prisoners have escaped!" Liam was furious, and he knew what he had to do.
"Set up an all points bulletin, for those street thugs are wanted criminals!" A big armored man with a big gun appeared. He was some kind of suit of armor, a stormtrooper of some sort.
"Simon the Sniper, bring them back alive."
"As you wish." Simon proceeded to track the criminals down.
Meanwhile, Devin, Evan, Arina and Hikari were sitting at a table in Arina's mansion in a room with white walls and silver accents, working on a puzzle.
"Say, Arina." Devin asked. "What is the car brand Sokolov Works manufactures?"
"Why the Sokolov, of course!" Arina laughed. "The Sokolov used to be the preferred escort for the Tsar of Drachma, but until the Iron Legion took over, it was no longer used as the Tsar's preferred transport. Nowadays it is associated with the hippie youth counterculture that reacts to Arcadia's involvement in Dai Viet."
"It's funny a woman like you can be a head girl from Drachma, because Drachma has been known for their patriarchal and misogynist customs." Evan added. Arina went to elaborate.
"Technically, yes." Arina replied. "But after the Iron Legion overthrew the aristocracy, a new aristocracy was placed in and as a result, the patriarchy was crumbled and replaced with a system that treats men and women as equals. The leader of the Iron Legion herself was a woman named Karina Starkov."
"Karina who?" Hikari and Devin gasped.
"Karina Starkov was a brilliant military commander, tactician and graduate of the Rasputin University. She graduated with a Gender Studies major and wanted to be a strong women's rights advocate, but she realized that it is the throne of the Tsar that controls the nation, so true change could come when the Tsar is toppled. She formed the Iron Legion, toppled the Tsar and began ruling Drachma with an iron fist." Arina held an artist's portrait of Karina in her hands. She had black hair in a bun and wore a black military uniform with a red sash.
"Empress Karina Starkov." Devin read the inscription on the frame.
"I will be hanging it on my wall as a grim reminder to not become as corrupt as her." Arina turned on the TV and the news report broke in.
"This just in, four criminals have escaped from the NFPD precinct in Manhallen. Chief Harris and his officers are working around the clock, looking for the fugitives. From the NF-1, I'm Todd Peppercorn."
"We should leave town." Hikari suggested.
"We can't!" Evan protested. "They will have us on the run!"
"Relax, Evan." Devin told Evan. "The NFPD can only make arrests within state limits, so if we go outside the state limits, they have no jurisdiction there."
"Devin, you're a genius!" Arina led everyone to the roof of the mansion.
"A helicopter?" Devin had never seen a helicopter before. Everyone got in and Arina was piloting the helicopter, as she proceeded to go out of state.
"Where should we go?" Devin asked.
"To the other side of the country where they will never find us!" Arina had a smart idea. "We're going to Los Agnes!"
The helicopter flew out of the New Folk City Limits, out of state, across the country all the way to Los Agnes, where they landed on the coast of San Veronica Beach.
"Woo Hoo, LA!" Evan cheered.
"Evan, we're not here to sightsee!" Arina reminded. "We are here to seek asylum. We will find a clothing store, change our clothes, get rid of our old clothes and assume fake identities. Arina and the others looked for a clothing store, but it was apparent that someone had been following them.
At Los Agnes International Airport, Wilhelm's private jet that he bought with the money from the bank heist touched down, as he got off.
"So this is Los Agnes." Wilhelm looked at the sky with seagulls flying above. An annoying fangirl started charging at him.
"Oh wow, is it really the great Wilhelm?" A young twenty-something woman with light brown skin and black hair in a ponytail was fang riling over Wilhelm.
"Give it a rest, lady." Wilhelm had no time for her foolishness. "Why don't you become a successful businesswoman, because I see your potential."
"You mean you like me?" The woman began blushing. "By the way, I am Harriet Oswald Davis, or you can call me Harry."
"Join in my army and I will make you my apprentice. Fail to do so and I will end you."
"Yes, Master Wilhelm." Harriet was to await initiation into the Cult of Wilhelm, as she would begin a new life as Wilhelm's apprentice.
