Twisted Hands of fate
Chapter 3 : The End Of War
Obito awoke in the mist village and immediately reached into his pocket, where he found a letter. The message was clear: he had to go to a specific address in the village and retrieve some documents to deliver to the mist Academy. From there, he would be assigned to the hidden mist Intelligence Agency, where he would report on the details of the ongoing war and the general stability of the Hidden Mist.
As he made his way to the village, Obito was struck by the devastation he saw around him. Whole villages were being destroyed by famine, and children were being taken from their parents to become shinobi. The conditions in the mist were far worse than he had anticipated.
Upon arriving at the village, Obito was shocked to find that there were no security checks at the gates. As he walked through the cold, desolate streets of Kiri, he couldn't help but wonder how he would survive in this place all alone, with no contact with anyone except the Anbu.
Despite the bleakness of his surroundings, Obito knew that he had a job to do. He would gather the necessary documents and begin his work for the Intelligence Agency, reporting on the war and the state of the Hidden Mist. He would receive new orders every two months, and his reports would be due weekly.
As he set out on his mission, Obito couldn't help but feel a sense of foreboding. The mist was a dangerous place, and he knew that he would have to be careful if he wanted to survive. But he was determined to do his duty, no matter the cost.
Months have passed in the land of snow, and Kakashi has been tirelessly training for hours on end. He has grown much stronger than he ever expected in such a short amount of time. However, he knows that he won't be able to leave this place anytime soon. Both Konoha and Iwa have placed a bounty on his head, making it impossible for him to escape.
Feeling trapped and frustrated, Kakashi realizes that in order to perfect his chidori, he needs the sharingan. But he can't simply walk into Konoha and take an Uchiha's sharingan. He needs to find another way.
Determined to find a solution, Kakashi ventures out into the snowy landscape. As he explores, he comes across a frozen lake. According to his knowledge, a battle was fought here during the Second Great Ninja War. The Iwa nin faced the second regiment of Konoha, which included many Uchiha. Many people drowned in the lake during the battle, and their bodies should be well-preserved in the ice.
Kakashi's mind races with the possibilities. Could he find a way to extract a sharingan from one of the frozen bodies? It's a risky move, but he knows he has no other choice. He takes a deep breath and begins to carefully examine the frozen lake, searching for any signs of the fallen soldiers.
He removed the snow that had gathered on the ice of the lake using a shovel. He looked around for any Uchiha but only found Iwa nin in the Ice, as he shoveled more snow he found a body of an uchiha upside down, he used the fire jutsu heat the shovel so that it could just melt through the ice.
He shoveled down on the ice and took out the body, and turned it around to that the uchiha had only one sharingan, he took a jar from his bag and filled it with a preserving liquid and took out the sharingan from the uchiha's eye socket.
He looked around for more uchiha but didn't find anyone, but he did find a hyuga, he thought that the byakugan could work and give him a more powerful vision and some powerful techniques like the 64 palms.
He dug out the body of the hyuga luckily the hyuga wasn't of the lower branch and had two byakugan, he took out the hyuga's eyes and put them with the sharingan in a jar and headed back home, so that he could plant them.
when he reached home in the middle of nowhere, he had stopped jumping cities so that people don't recognize him, he stood in front of a mirror and ripped out his right eye and put the sharingan in it's place.
After some time he regained his vision, he took out his left eyeball and replaced it with a byakugan in it's place.
His eyes were bleeding so he had to bandage them and wait for his body to used to it.
In Konoha, Rin had successfully completed her medical nin training and was promoted to the rank of jonin. With her new title, she embarked on a mission that took her away from the village and onto the frontlines of the ongoing war. Her objective was to serve at the newly established medical camp, where she would be responsible for saving countless lives.
Despite her dedication to her mission, Rin couldn't help but feel a sense of unease. She longed for the war to come to an end, hoping that peace would soon be restored to the land. Her worries were compounded by the hurtful words that Obito had spoken to her when she tried to defend Kakashi. Fortunately, Kushina was there to comfort her and reassure her that she had done nothing wrong.
As Rin worked tirelessly at the medical camp, she witnessed both the triumphs and tragedies of war. She saved countless lives, but also saw many die in her arms. The experience was traumatizing, but it also served to strengthen her resolve and make her one of the strongest kunoichi in the land.
Obito sat at his desk, his mind racing with the information he had just compiled in his report. He had meticulously detailed the hidden mist's plans for attack and the vulnerable areas they intended to strike. Additionally, he had identified the names of spies living in Konoha, but instead of eliminating them, the Anbu had opted to feed them false information to mislead the hidden mist.
As he continued to review his report, Obito noted the growing anti-war sentiment among the people of the hidden mist. He knew that this could be a valuable tool in his mission to increase instability within the mist.
Suddenly, a knock at his door interrupted his thoughts. A postman stood before him, holding a letter written in code. Obito quickly deciphered the message, which instructed him to slowly increase the hatred towards the Mizukage. He was to use propaganda to turn the people against their leader.
Obito knew that he needed to travel to Kirigakure to carry out his mission. He began by targeting those who had lost family members in the war, slowly building an anti-Mizukage movement. Over the course of several months, he worked tirelessly to increase the instability within the mist.
As time passed, Obito became more deeply entrenched in his mission. He spent over a year in the mist, gathering information about enemy plans to attack Konoha. He was able to find out that the Iwa and kiri had a joint attack on the konoha with full force
Fortunately, the Konoha intelligence was alerted to the impending attack and was able to provide false information to their spies, leading the enemy forces into a forest. Konoha and Suna troops were then dispatched to surround the forest and take down the enemy. The troops were under the leadership of Minato, and this battle was the most crucial one in the war. If they were able to defeat the joint regiment, the morale of Kirigakure would plummet, and they could use Obito to spark a civil war and pull Kirigakure out of the war. This would also weaken Iwa since their supply line would be cut off, forcing them to surrender.
With the hope of ending the war, Minato led his new troops through the land and met up with the Suna troops. The forces joined together and marched through the land. However, a scout from Iwa managed to inform the troops of the Yellow Flash's approach with a large army, causing the enemy to take defensive positions in the forest.
When Minato's forces arrived, they saw that the enemy had taken defensive positions in the forest. Minato had a plan - he surrounded his troops around the forest, preventing the enemy from escaping. He then instructed his soldiers with rock style to create a dam in the river that flowed through the forest, cutting off the enemy's supplies and water sources. Many of the enemy soldiers surrendered as they could not handle the hunger and thirst.
After a two-week siege in the forest, only a hundred shinobi were captured. Minato realized that the enemy troops were living off the land, so he ordered his troops to burn down the forest. As the forest burned down, the enemies came out and attacked them, but the enemy was not organized, and Minato took full advantage of it.
Following the devastating forest fire, over eighty percent of the enemy troops emerged from hiding, disorganized and vulnerable. Minato was skilled leader and seized the opportunity and led his troops to a decisive victory. He ordered his soldiers to enter the charred forest and eliminate any enemy combatants they encountered, Among the enemies were eight of the nine swordsmen of Hidden Mist they caused a big damage to the troops, and Minato was able to take them down.
For two grueling days, Minato's forces scoured the forest, engaging in fierce battles and strategic maneuvers. Despite the challenges they faced, they emerged victorious, capturing and defeating every last enemy soldier. The campaign was a resounding success, a testament to Minato's leadership and the bravery of his troops.
In the village of Kirigakure, news of their defeat had just arrived, and the people were in an uproar. Riots broke out, and the leaders of the revolution were targeted for assassination. Obito was given the task of eliminating these important figures, and one by one, he poisoned them. The riots escalated into a full-blown civil war, with the Mizukage eventually offering a truce to end the violence.
From his vantage point in a nearby building, Obito watched as the people of Kirigakure turned on each other, with the troops ordered back to the village. Among the revolutionaries was the last swordsman of the mist, Zabuza Momochi. Seeing that his job was done and the situation was spiraling out of control, Obito decided to leave.
Months passed, and the Raikage called for a truce, which was eventually agreed upon by the Suchikage. The war had officially ended, and Rin was called back in the village.
Obito returned to his village as somewhat of a war hero. He was rewarded for his efforts and was overjoyed to learn that his sensei had become the fourth Hokage. He also received the happy news that Kushina was pregnant.
Overall, the situation in Kirigakure was a dark chapter in Obito's life, but he emerged from it with newfound respect and admiration from his fellow villagers.
