"Ladies and Gentlemen are you ready to rock~" yelled Present Mic as he got the stadium goers pumped up again.
"Stick to the script, we're supposed to focus on color commentary, not treat this like it's your own cheap add" said Aizawa bluntly as he wanted to bonk his co-star over the head, but didn't felt like it.
"Ignoring MC Grumpypants, we've got a few minutes before we continue with the sports festival, so we're gonna take this time to ask some questions to some of our students that'll be entering the next round" said Present Mic as this got the fans exciting.
"Working the ground floor interview will be our very own Ms. Midnight" said Present Mic as we pan down to her.
"Thanks again Mic, I'm here outside the locker rooms of one group of the competitors that'll be duking it out, so without further ado let's get this interview going" said Midnight as she opened the doors.
"Katsuki Bakugo, you were at the top of your game in both academics and in quirk physical might, but after what we saw in the last 2 previous rounds by Midoriya, do you think your position is at risk by what many would call the dark horse underdog" asked Midnight.
"If you're trying to piss me off it's working, now beat it I'm trying to get into the zone damnit!" yelled Bakugo as he literally slammed the door on Midnight as she stood there awkwardly.
"Moving on, let's interview some of our other competitors" said Midnight as she went to the locker rooms across the halls.
"Ah perfect. Shoto Todoroki, care to share your thoughts on this years sports festival tournament" asked Midnight, "It's alright I guess" Todoroki said blandly.
"Right… so we've just been informed that you're father, the number 2 hero, Endeavor is here to witness in this years activity, your thoughts on the matter" asked Midnight as Todoroki visibly jolted before frowning.
"No comment" said Todoroki as he backed away from Midnight into a corner, "Ok then, Izuku Midoriya, the man of the hour and what I think many people can agree is our top contender, if not most likely candidate to win 1st place in every single round of this tournament, care to share your thoughts, and please give me and the people something" pleaded Midnight as the last 2 were complete basket cases.
"Oh um, well I uh didn't honestly think I would have made it this far if I'm honest, if anything it's a bit nerve wracking to say the least" said Midoriya before Iroha butted in.
"Midoriya onii-chan is going to win this thing all by himself" said Iroha in a cheerful tone.
"Really? And what would you do if Midoriya wins this whole tournament in the end" asked Midnight.
"I'm going to give him a big kiss followed by scrubbing his back when we take a bath together later on" said Iroha as this got everyone in a panic.
"Oh my and what if he doesn't win this in the end" asked Midnight, "Then I'll give him a bigger kiss and talk to the other maidens to scrub his worries away in the bath" said Iroha as her answer was definitely gold to not only Midnight but to the viewers as well.
"And there you have it folks, it seems no matter what, Midoriya will be leaving this tournament as the biggest winner, back to you Mic" said Midnight before the cameras went off.
"You're doing great kid, honestly I have no doubt in your future in making it into the big leagues" said Midnight with a cheeky smile before exiting the room with the camera crew.
"Midoriya, I know this seems rather prudent of me to bring this up, but please tell me whilst looking me in the eye your level of skin ship with your maidens, more so with Iroha is pure and PG" said Tenya as he adjusted his glasses.
"Woah, according to some of our classmates, the guys in class are fuming with jealousy over you Midoriya" said Mina as she was reading her group chat messages.
"You should check what people are saying online, but not you Izuku, some of the things they're saying is pretty mean" said Ochako.
"If it's worth any consolation, it could honestly be worse" said Todoroki before their locker room doors blew up.
"Deku you lolicon degenerate noob, just what the hell kind of activities are you forcing Iroha to do behind closed doors you friggin jackoff" asked Bakugo as he was ready to kill.
"Calm down man, this is neither the time nor place to be picking a fight" said Kirishima as he finally caught up and began to drag Bakugo away from here, especially from Midoriya.
"Watch your ass noob, cause soon we'll finally throw down and I'll be blasting your ass to kingdom come" said Bakugo as he finally allowed Kirishima to drag him away.
"Why me!" cried a teary eyed Midoriya, "It's not your fault, much less Iroha's, people just tend to blow things out of proportions once it hits the news" said Todoroki.
"He's right, Midoriya you should try to calm down and be focused, you are of course up first in the tournament duel of the sports festival" said Tenya as everyone took a moment to ease Midoriya and pump him up to strut his stuff.
Once he had his head back in the game, Midoriya finally left the locker room with Iroha standing by his side.
"And here we are again folks, the first round will be set up between Izuku Midoriya of class 1-A against Hitoshi Shinso of General Studies.
"Let's go Iroha" said Midoriya as the 2 fused as they made it up on the platform, "All right kids, let's try to keep the trash talking and personal insults at a minimal, but groin shots and leg sweeps are fair game" said Midnight.
"Izuku Midoriya, I must admit that I am rather eager to finally face off against you" said Shinso as Midoriya remained cautious as to how Shinso may activate his quirk.
"Contestants are you ready" said Midnight as Midoriya remained determined to win as Shinso seemed almost indifferent like Aizawa sensei on a good day.
"Tell me, do you think you have a chance of not only beating me, but possibly beating this whole thing" asked Shinso as this was an internal question Midoriya had been asking himself since the day began.
"I do" said Midoriya with a very confident smile, "Begin" shouted Midnight as Midoriya wasted no time in charging in head first ready to beat Shinso into submission before he could activate his quirk.
"Stop" commanded Shinso as Midoriya literally had his fist about an inch towards Shinso's face.
"What is going on down there, Midoriya looked like he was ready to deck this kid, but now he's just standing there unable to move" said Present Mic, "Hitoshi Shinso has a rather amazing perk that allows him to mind control any number of people to heed his command" commented Aizawa.
"Oh, hey bestie, welcome back to the world of the living" said Present Mic, "Blah-blah-blah" said Aizawa dismissively.
"Before I tell you to get out of this ring and forfeit the match, I want you to know that I too believed in you in being able to beat this thing, which motivates me to really want to beat you myself" said Shinso.
"Now get to marching" said Shinso as Midoriya turned his body into a 180 and was beginning to march off the ledge as he began to think about how did Shinso activated his quirk.
There was no obvious tricks like vocal commands, a form of a luminescent aura glow, no bodily twitch or movements, no nothing, the only thing to have happened up until now was how he kept talking to him and asking him questions.
Wait maybe that's how he activates his quirk, it's by asking questions and getting people to answer him, thought Midoriya as he now knows his safest bet to beat Shinso was to avoid answering him.
Midoriya onii-chan we're about to walk off the ledge, what should we do, asked Iroha in their head.
I have an idea, it's a bit of a stretch, but it's the only one I got. Quickly split from me, and if you see me moving, give me a good kick in the pants, said Midoriya as the 2 finally split apart.
Sitting down on the ground, Shinso stood there in wide eye caution as he saw Midoriya and Iroha just barely able to recover from his attack as he looked on in disbelief.
Getting back on his feet, Midoriya began to whip out his phone and began to rapidly tap away at the screen before Sharpshooter, Isabele, Archerhood, Grenadier.
"Your move Shinso, either surrender now or my maidens will knock you out once they know something has gone awry" said Midoriya.
"Damn it, this is not how I planned this" jeered Shinso as he trembled in anger as he slowly lowered his head.
"I surrender" admitted Shinso with a heavy heart, "And there you have it people, once again Izuku Midoriya of class 1-A has claimed another victory this round" said Midnight as everyone in the audience began to cheer.
"Shinso, can we talk for a minute" asked Midoriya as he got the lord of gloom and dooms attention.
"If you're going to rub it in, do it quick" said Shinso, "No, it's just why are you so eager in wanting to beat me" asked Midoriya.
"If you hadn't paid attention, I'm in General Studies here at UA, a choice I consciously made in order to attend here, even though my dream was to join the hero course, unfortunately my quirk isn't all that great against nonorganic enemies" said Shinso.
"That's right, we had to face off against robots in our entrance exam" said Midoriya, "Anyways, this sports festival was my one chance at being able to not only prove myself to the people watching, but also my one chance to finally transfer into the hero courses, but…" said Shinso.
"Shinso I didn't know I'm sorry" said Midoriya, "Save me your pity, everyone here has a reason of wanting to win this thing through and through, but if you really want to apologize, you better win this, because I do believe in you beating this years sports festival" said Shinso before walking away.
"Well look at that, an enemy today becomes a new friend tomorrow" said Isabel as she began to holster her weapons.
"Maybe, for now let's rest up and charge my phone before we have to go up again" said Midoriya as he finally walked off the stage.
Making his way towards the break room once more, the last thing Midoriya had hoped to walk in on was a heated argument between Todoroki and his father Endeavor.
"Why do you persist on not using your quirk abilities, the one you had inherited from me, so you can surpass me and ultimately surpass All Might" said Endeavor.
"Because this quirk you call a gift is nothing more than damn curse in our family! More so there's someone in my class room with even greater cryo abilities than me, even if he's able to fully control her much less the full extent of his power as of yet" said Todoroki as this was the first anyone has heard him raise his voice.
"Now let me be, I've got a match to attend to" said Todoroki as he left his father there standing.
As he was walking by, Todoroki finally noticed Midoriya and could assume he heard their conversation.
"Don't say anything Midoriya, at least not yet, but I've got to say this now before this tournament reaches it's conclusion, I admire you as a classmate and as a rival, and even though you can't summon that wolf girl yet, just know that I'm working hard everyday to not only reach you, but surpass you" said Todoroki.
"Now I've got to run, take care" said Todoroki as he continued on his way.
It's like what Shinso said, we've all got a reason to be here today, thought Midoriya as his train of thoughts were broken by the hearty laugh of the number one hero.
"Come now Endeavor, now's the time for the 2 of us to kick back and relax, and finally have a friendly chat over a cup of tea" said All Might.
"I don't got time for this, my son is up next" said Endeavor as he left All Might alone, "Ok we'll talk later" said All Might as he felt no harm when being brushed aside.
"Oh man, All Might is here" said Midoriya as he hasn't seen him since they put an end to the Eta's.
"Let's go chat with him Midoriya onii-chan" said Iroha, "What, oh no, I couldn't- I shouldn't right now" said Midoriya, "Come on".
Having pulled her master out the corner, All Might caught wind of the duo as he saw them both approaching him.
"Midoriya, Iroha, how are you youngsters doing" asked All Might, "I'm doing good sir, thanks, and thank you for saving me when I got caught by the Eta's" said Midoriya.
"Don't sweat it, I was happy to help, just like I'm happy to see your performance out there young man" said All Might.
"You- you've been watching me this whole time" asked Midoriya, "Indeed I have, and I must say you've got what it takes to be a great hero, maybe an even greater hero than me some day" said All Might with a thumbs up.
"Thank you sir, I mean, oh my god I never would have expected you to say that to me, I mean I've about it, but…" said Midoriya as he was crying tears of joy knowing that his dreams were coming true today.
"And I mean it, in fact, how about you join me in my private booth, we can watch the next few rounds over some tea" said All Might, "Yessir, that would be amazing" said Midoriya as All Might lead them to his commissioner box as they enjoyed the tournament till it was Midoriya's turn again.
