Rosaline Eris
Rosaline Eris drew the hood of her black cloak closer over her pale god hair, which would shimmer like a beacon in the night and attract unwanted attention. She pressed her back tighter to the stone wall, peering out at the would through the eye holes of her satin mask. Her endeavor to become invisible seemed to be working, as everyone hurried past her without even a glance.
"Hey there, Capricorn." Someone to her left said.
She turned her head the slightest bit, staring up at Hansey.
"Hansey." She greeted, turning back to stare at the stree.
"You ready for this?" He asked.
"Am I never not ready?" She murmured back, the urge to roll her eyes almost overwhelming.
If you were going to be an assassin, you have to be confident in yourself. One of the first things you learn in 'training'. If you're not confident in yourself, well things could turn deadly.
She knew that from experience.
Rosaline felt Hansey shrug beside her.
"Not that I've heard of."
She didn't feel the need to respond, she didn't care. Besides, soon, the car would be here.
She bent to one knee, unzipped her black handbag (it was easily the size of a mini-suitcase) and withdrew her sniper. She held it steady as she leveled it with the spot the car would park in.
Suddenly, the white car appeared, faster than they had anticipated. But she was ready. As always. Her index finger touch the trigger lightly and she peek through the scope and fished out the head of the senate.
'Asshole.' She thought as she began to pull back the trigger. 'You deserve this.'
And almost as if he heard her, he turned to face their hiding spot. Never seeing them, of course. Just as he started to turn back, she released the trigger.
For a second there was no sound, except the bang of the shot and the ringing. Then, the screaming began.
She smiled grimly as she stood.
"All done. Let's roll."
A/N: All right, that was pretty short. And I'll continue it, eventually. Not from this point, of course, that was just sort of an introduction of the main Eris. I'm getting ready to start a new story with them all. I've already got the first three chapters written, I'm pretty sure, but I'm stuck on the plot. And I wanna work on that before I post the story.
But you guys'll like it! I hope...
