Hey guys and welcome back. Got no reason for delay other than life and shit happened, so let's just go forward.
This is a filler chapter to both set up for later as well as get some interactions underway that will impact the future happenings as well as the fallout of Eiling and Luthor failing to get into Gohan's servers.
Also, I've been debating on if I will add anything else to this to give Gohan more to do besides basically curb-stomping all but the heavier hitters in DC. If nothing else, it gives more women for Gohan to tame. DxD, Mortal Kombat, Mass Effect, Halo, and Marvel are three such items I was considering along with some others and I have a wide range of ideas on how to add them without them just being in the world and Gohan wasn't warned about it. So give input on that if you so wish.
Nothing else to go over this time so let's just jump right into it.

CHAPTER 7: GROWING INFLUENCE
FOUR STAR INCORPORATED
Gohan sat behind his desk, once more doing paperwork and looking over status reports on various projects and plans. After his time with Bulma, he approached the girls about his idea: Recording and/or writing music from their world for here. Since none of the artists existed here, and Gohan had done a thorough check, they could record the songs themselves or create the lyrics and music and either sell them to artists or sign artists themselves to performs the songs. This would both give more revenue and attract more attention, both positive and negative, to the company.
A few of the girls; Erasa, Bulla, Maron, and Vados; were actually excited for the idea since they wanted to sing and have fun. A few of the others; Videl, 18, and Zangya; were indifferent since it didn't appeal to them, but they understood the benefits of it in the long run. Bulma, Panchy, and Launch didn't think they'd be any good with it, but were willing to try it if Gohan thought they'd be any good.
On other projects, his new element research and set up for the lab was nearly finished and once it was, he could get his new element created and begin the projects that were on hold until it was ready. New power sources, higher graded machinery, armor, weapons, tech, upgrade apparatuses, and more.
Basically, it was the catalyst for a lot of stuff that would be helpful.
It was also a catalyst for a project he had planned for old bats if he wanted to keep taking on world destruction threats. The man was admirable in his endurance and iron will, but even he would get worn down eventually. Gohan wanted to make sure he still had a few decades before it could come to that.
On another note, he also saw that Hagen was making good progress in both controlling his powers and the research into turning him back to normal was also coming along nicely. It seemed that he had the metahuman gene in him, but the chemicals he was exposed to had hyper activated it making him into the deformed blob he was now. If they could identify the exact chemicals used, then if nothing else, they could reverse the more extreme effects and perhaps help him gain more control over his powers to the point he could appear normal.
If Gohan was looking to make an army or infiltration unit, he'd want to see if he could replicate his powers, but Gohan wasn't but he was sure that was Eiling's intent and desire when he tried to get access to his files.
"And now we bring you todays big news talk: an investigation has been launched into both Billionaire Lex Luthor and Four-Star General Wade Eiling." A reporter, who the network identified as one Vicky Vale, stated making Gohan break from his musings and turn to the tv in his office. "A series of files detailing at least some of the two's illicit, immoral, and criminal acts was distributed to multiple news outlets as well as District Attorneys and Military higher-ups. For Mr. Luthor, this includes having people murdered, illegal arms dealing, providing arms to terrorists, blackmail, racketeering, money laundering, reckless endangerment, purposeful endangerment, and several others that are no doubt going to harm the supposed philanthropist's public image as well as his business in the future. However, General Eiling's crimes are a bit more shocking as it shows he ordered the assassination of American Citizens, has routinely committed war crimes on people of other countries, and has started or attempted quite a few illicit or illegal operations including pushing for all known people with powers to be drafted into the military under his direct command. There were even files of both of these men kidnapping people who showed to possibly be alien or having powers and either dissecting them, blackmailing them to work for them, or having them killed before they could be classified as a threat in their eyes. Needless to say, both men are being questioned and looked into closely and it is not looking good for either of them as the President has expressed nothing but disgust and outrage for the actions of both of these men, though clearly his anger is more directed at General Eiling." Vicky continued making Gohan smirk in satisfaction. "In other news, Mr. Gohan Son, head of Four Star Incorporated, is set to have a major reveal of his company both in the medical field and the defense community today at his headquarters. Many a spectator, ranging from other businessmen to those in the military, are planning to attend the showcase as nothing has been mentioned on what is being shown or revealed." She stated reminding Gohan that he did indeed have a showcase today.
"Good timing on that, I was just about to remind you to be ready to go in twelve minutes." Cortana stated as she appeared on his desk.
"Mr. Son has had a lot of speculation and scrutiny when he appeared in Las Angeles and suddenly opened his company. That only increased when it was revealed he was hiring former criminals and so-called super-criminals on staff as well as working with people that had powers to either cure them or help them learn to control their powers. Two such individuals are Dr. Pamela Isley and Dr. Harleen Quinzel, both formerly known as Poison Ivy and Harley Quinn before apparently being cured or rehabilitated by Mr. Son's Company. This has brought much doubt and suspicion upon his company, but as of yet nothing has been tried or done due to this beyond a few other known businesses expressing their public apologies for not trying such a thing themselves. Bruce Wayne, Oliver Queen, and Karen Starr are the chief three of these people with Mr. Wayne expressing his sincere apology to both Doctors for not trying to cure them instead of letting them go back to Arkham Asylum again and again. Mr. Wayne has even pushed for a few of the prisoners of Arkham wishing to take Mr. Son's offer for help, including a former friend of his, Mr. Harvey Dent aka the mob boss Two-Face. Interestingly enough, General Eiling had been pushing against such a thing, which is now believed to be because he wanted to take any of those with unique traits or powers to form what were being classified as 'Suicide Squads' whose purpose was to do highly dangerous missions where the expectation of death was extremely high. If they died, then they were written off as an acceptable loss with no way to trace it back to the U.S. Government and if they succeeded then the General would use his connections and influence to get their sentences reduced. While no files on what some of these missions were or who else was involved, enough was given to indicate the General had been involved in no less than 15 of these unauthorized missions." Vicky informed tying Gohan to the story on Eiling to keep attention on both parts of the reports.
An old trick for when the station felt that one of the stories wouldn't get as much attention as the other. Interweave the two and then you keep attention on both as they have to watch both to get the full story.
Gohan didn't mind though, the man who built half of Metropolis and a high-ranking government/military official vs a new businessman claiming there was some new breakthrough that will change things? It was an easy decision on which would sell more.
Still, he did actually have plans and products being done that would shake and change things for the better. He just didn't want to reveal too much too soon, or it could be brought into question how he was advancing things so quickly.
"We will be bringing you live coverage from Mr. Son's unveiling in just a few minutes. Stay tuned for more." She concluded before the station began their next bit.
Gohan put some papers away while looking at his proposal for a new Police Unit, though it was more accurate to call it a City Defense Unit. The goal would be to have an elite police/defense unit for the city in the event that an attack came that was too large for Gohan, the girls, and the League to handle it and watch over the city at the same time. They'd be given the latest armor, weapons, and tech to ensure they could at least make a super pause in going against them.
The proposal would take time, money, and a lot of effort, all of which Gohan was willing to give, especially if he could get some experts of this world to help train the candidates, counting his new head of security. Of course, he'd have to do a thorough check and ensure none of them would go traitor and sell out the gear and training to anyone else, particularly Eiling and those like him.
Paying them good money would remove a chunk of that risk. Cleaning up any dirty laundry, giving security, and ensuring they knew who to not deal with would also help. He'd still have security measures in place just in case, but better to have plans for everything then not enough.
Leaning back, he looked down and smirked, "You ready? We need to head down soon for the presentation." Gohan asked as he looked at Bulma, on her knees with her breasts out as she was servicing him.
Bulma sighed and stopped as she leaned back a bit, "Fine, but we're finishing later." She stated as she fixed her clothes and stood once Gohan moved with a chuckle.
"I don't doubt it." Gohan stated as he fixed his own clothes as the two walked out of the office.
Arriving in a large room that was essentially a meeting room combined with an auditorium, Gohan and Bulma stepped on stage and waited as the crowd began funneling in. They noted quite a few people such as Bruce Wayne, Karen Starr, Oliver Queen, Oliver's sister Thea, Oliver's bodyguard John Diggle, Lois Lane, Clark Kent, General Sam Lane, Professor Emil Hamilton, Mercy Graves (no doubt there to report to Luthor since he was handling his new legal troubles), Simon Stagg, Barry Allen, Cisco Ramon, Dr. Harrison Wells, and Caitlin Snow.
However, Gohan also noted a woman sitting in the back with dark skin, black hair, and a fit build. The intensity in her eyes said she was not to be fucked with even if her position in her seat was calm and relaxed, maybe even friendly.
Gohan knew who this was, she was connected to Eiling in some of his dealings. While not some of the more immoral ones, she was definitely not a squeaky-clean woman. She idly reminded him of Vegeta in the ends justify the means if the enemy is put down and you're still standing attitude.
Amanda Waller was definitely not someone he'd take lightly.
"Thank you all for coming, we're glad that despite being new that we've garnered such attention all ready." Gohan started off as he stood with Bulma at his side. "I'm sure you all know who I am, but beside me is our chief scientist Bulma Briefs." Gohan introduced making Bulma bow her head a bit in acknowledgement while Clark, Barry, and Bruce all cocked an eyebrow in interest. "As you all know, we are unveiling two advancements: One in Defense, with us intending it for Police Forces and military, and the other in the medical field." Gohan stated as a man came out wearing modified Saiyan armor that was more than a breast plate, gloves, and boots.
It covered all vital areas, and had extra padding around the neck, groin, and head. This one was blue and white in color, but that was mainly due to it being the color both were used to making back home.
"This is our new security armor, top of the line and strong as all hell. It's lighter, stronger, and more protective than Kevlar. We've also found a way to produce it in mass, one batch of our new material can outfit 50 officers easily, making it cheaper too." Bulma explained before a man walked out, a man that was recognizable to many.
"I'm sure you all know or have heard of our new head of security, Floyd Lawton aka Deadshot, he's one of the few criminals whom we offered a deal in order to help them reform. Now he works here ensuring our headquarters and other areas are secure." Gohan stated since it was just a matter of money, paying his debts, and protection for his daughter to get Floyd on their side, though Gohan wouldn't deny having a world class marksman/assassin on his payroll didn't have other benefits if the need arose.
Gohan knew there were certain people that would need to be removed, but he couldn't do them otherwise his work to get set up and gain allies would be undone since he'd be attracting to the wrong sort to ally with, and a few current allies weren't ready for enemies dying yet.
"Mr. Lawton, you ready?" Gohan asked and Floyd nodded.
"Ready boss." He replied as he had a normal pistol in his hand while a few people came and passed out earplugs to the attendees.
"You ready?" Gohan asked the person in the armor making them nod. "All right." Gohan stated as he and Bulma backed up a bit. "Whenever you're ready, Mr. Lawton." Gohan stated as Floyd nodded and began firing hitting different areas whether it was the head, chest, arm, knee, back, it didn't matter.
All the bullets mushroomed against the armor and fell to the floor as the figure simply stood there, not even flinching.
Once Floyd had emptied two clips. He stopped to let everyone look at the result. People began murmuring while a few photographers were snapping pictures.
"Next one, please." Gohan stated as he stood there and Floyd nodded and moved to a nearby table pulled a tarp off showing an assortment of weapons. Grabbing a military M16, Floyd flicked the safety off before he opened fire on the volunteer.
Like the pistol rounds, the bullets mushroomed and fell to the floor. With the only indication of the person feeling the hits was when five rounds hit the forehead and the head was tilted slightly. Once two mags were empty, Floyd put the M16 down and grabbed a Desert Eagle and a high-grade sniper rifle.
At Gohan's nod, Floyd fired the Desert Eagle at the figure closing the distance as he did so. The figure gave some slight recoil from the hits, but otherwise stood standing where they were. A shot to the head did make them recoil harder, but that was too be expected. Naturally, Floyd used the rifle after the Eagle was empty, except he surprised everyone when he put the rifle right to the chest of the volunteer and fired sending them back a few steps, but they stayed standing shocking the onlookers.
Floyd then stepped back and cleared the rifle down before putting it down.
"You alright Mr. Gat?" Gohan asked as the figure removed the helmet showing a man with styled sunglasses and bleach blonde hair with a black fade at the bottom.
"I'm good, I got a headache from a few of those headshots, but nothing else. Nothing feels broken, I'm not seeing stars, spots, or whatever. I feel like I can go another 12 rounds easy." He stated as he removed the armor and then lifted his shirt showing that he didn't even have bruises before he put the armor back on.
"Now I'm sure some of you are thinking about the fact that many criminals are starting to get a bit more high-tech. Well, rest assured, it's still safe." Gohan stated nodding to the two as Gat put his helmet back on and Floyd picked up a higher tech pistol. "Whenever you're ready." Gohan instructed making Floyd fire as several energy projectiles flew at Gat and hit the armor plates.
Beyond some scorch marks, there was no sign of being hit at all and Gat even gave a thumbs-up to show he was still fine.
"As you can see, ladies and gentlemen, our new Defense Armor is extremely durable, padded, and offers little to no gapping. And it's not just gunfire, laser fire, or energy blasts either." Gohan stated as Floyd pulled a knife and stabbed into Gat, but it stopped against the plates without even scratching it and against the non-plated areas it simply deflected to the side. "It is impact resistant and fireproof up to 800 degrees. And this is only stage one of our planned armor designs. We've found that a few areas between the plates, while protected, can use more padding, but at the same time we don't want to lose mobility and ease of movement and there is also providing more protection from explosions. Our first estimations are that within six months, we can effectively cut down the mortality rate for cops and soldiers by no less than 30% and our next unveiling in the medical field should help cut that even further while also helping civilians." Gohan stated as many began murmuring in astonishment while wondering what a future armor of this caliber could be.
Bruce, Barry, Oliver, Diggle, Karen, and Clark didn't miss the meaningful looks he shot to the first three, which naturally shocked Oliver and his companions as Gohan gave a quick wink and gestured for his employees to pass out the folders they were holding.
"This brings us to our next item. Gentlemen, if you'd step to side of the stage, please." Gohan requested, making Gat and Floyd nod as they moved to the side and took positions along the wall. The curtain behind Gohan then opened revealing a large metal pod filled with greenish-blue water and it was clear that someone was floating inside.
"What you are receiving now is a file on a patient that recently was in a horrible car wreck and was believed to be unable to walk due to an injury to his spine, use his right arm, have problems breathing, and would be blind in his left eye for the rest of his life." Gohan explained as everyone read the file, obviously a medical one, and saw the details of the whole thing.
"I'm assuming that tank is some kind of healing chamber?" Bruce asked since there was no other reason to give this file and show the pod.
"Correct." Gohan stated as a screen came up showing vitals of the patient within along with a silhouette of a body with a few areas highlighted/glowing.
"This healing chamber is top of the line and immediately scans the body thoroughly for any signs of damage, trauma, sickness, and whatnot. The tank is then filled with a compound of our own design that nurtures the healing process of the body a hundredfold while also simultaneously fueling the body with nutrients to keep the patient safe and healthy should they require to bask in the tank for over a day. Rotors within also churn the water to help stimulate muscle movement so there is no chance of atrophy. Finally, a face mask is attached to the patient to allow for breathing and comfort as the air is laced with another compound that helps the body further repair itself while helping put the patient into a relaxed or sleep-like state the entire time. There're systems in place to protect them from any signs of duress, stress, or any negative reactions to the compounds. There is also a monitoring system to shut off the second compound, so they'll be fully cognizant for when it is time to release them from the tank." Bulma explained as many began murmuring again.
"We've fully tested the compounds and there are no side effects to people or even animals beyond a bit sluggishness and imbalance upon being released from the tank." Gohan assured as the tank beeped.
"Ah, seems our patient is ready to be released." Bulma stated as she typed on the screen as the liquid was drained out and put into tanks on the side of the pod before the hatch released with a hiss as Floyd and Gat came up to help the patient.
A hand emerged from the tank as a man with black hair and a goatee grabbed the edges of the pod and pulled themselves up shocking the audience as it was the man from the file. Only, he was using his arm, he was standing on both his legs and his eye looked fine. He was currently standing in a pair of black swim trunks.
"How are you feeling, Mr. Brimstone?" Gohan asked gently while motioning to the crowd to be quiet with many of them understanding since he had essentially been in a sensory deprivation tank to heal, so his hearing and sight was likely sensitive right now.
"I… I feel… Good. Really good, actually. I'm a bit stiff, but… there's no pain. I can breathe easily, and my eye seems to be working fine." He stated as he moved and began laughing a bit as Gat came and patted his back.
"Glad to have you back man." He stated as Brimstone laughed and hugged him a bit.
"As you can see, the tank works, and Mr. Brimstone has only been in the tank for three days." Gohan revealed shocking the crowd further. "And that's not all, ladies and gentlemen. This is only the beginning as we are progressing in research into helping regrow limbs, making the tank even faster, fixing deafness, and we've even found our two compounds attack cancer cells, meaning we've also created a non-radiation alternative to fighting cancer and further study could result in a true cure for the disease." Gohan added making many began murmuring to each other while Bruce, Clark, and Barry could only stare at Gohan wondering what else he had up his sleeve from his universe.
"Now that our presentation is finished, we will begin taking questions." Gohan stated as some of the reporters began rapidly talking. "One at a time please, there's no reason to act like a bunch of children vying for a parent's attention." Gohan gently reprimanded making them calm themselves.
Gohan then pointed to one reporter, "What other improvements are you looking into for the armor?" They asked.
"Lightening it even further, making it harder to get through, improving the resistance to explosions, and security features to ensure that if the armor is stolen it can't be used against police or our own soldiers overseas. We also are looking at advancing it a certain degree so our officers and military have a chance should another alien invasion occur or metahuman criminals that don't wish to turn their lives around start causing chaos again." Gohan stated making many scribble on their notepads.
"Are you planning to enter into military contracts since you've stated you wish to sell this armor to the military?" Lois asked knowing that was part of the reason her father was there.
"Yes and no, miss Lane. We will be glad to take contracts for defense and protection of our soldiers and such, but we have no intention of making weapons here nor allowing anything we develop to be turned into weapons. Nowadays, many a military man and businessman try to turn things that were meant for safe applications into something for war and death. A case in point would be a former joint venture of LexCorp and Wayne Industries making a mining and scouting robot into a robotic lethal bloodhound before the business with the Joker caused that to be terminated. We have zero intention of selling anything even remotely harmful from this company and ensure that any attempts to weaponize anything we sell will breach any contract we sign or draw up, effectively terminating the contract and forcing those that broke it to pay a substantial fee in compensation for breaching the contract along with returning all merchandise involved." Gohan informed and noted a few of the military people frowning at that.
"Are you worried about the public backlash of hiring criminals?" One Jack Ryder asked as Gohan looked at him.
"No, I'm not. These people that we help went to crime because they had no other options besides that. Mr. Lawton for example couldn't find work and there are few job opportunities that pay as well as high profile assassination and at the same time it's not something you can just stop without your former clients wanting to come after you so you can't sell them out. Dr. Pamela Isley has caused large amounts of property damage and killed a few people yes, but more often than not her victims were criminals that did what they did for fun, or they just had enough money to make themselves out to be innocent. Dr. Quinzel was suffering from a severe form of Stockholm Syndrome and before treatment with us was shown to be incredibly susceptible to a dominating influence upon her. Arkham had her doing isolated sessions with Joker for weeks with no one helping to counteract his influence on her. Said influence is now gone, evidenced by her providing evidence and testimony against him after we cured her." Gohan stated since he knew someone was going to bring it up.
"So you claim, but shouldn't they be punished for the crimes they committed and the lives they helped to ruin?" Jack asked when Gohan was going to call on someone else.
"Mr. Ryder, if you're going to be a childish bully that needs to shout and attempt to undermine what we are doing here just to get attention, then you'll have to leave." Gohan stated as a few snickered and laughed at Ryder's sputtering face. "However, I will answer, they have been punished time and again. Dr. Quinzel was repeatedly abused by Joker and Dr. Isley was tortured by the cries of plants across the city crying out in pain and suffering from the acts of people. They are still technically being punished, at any time I can call the governors, mayors, and warden of Arkham to have them put back in their cells. They are here to work and show they've been rehabilitated." Gohan continued as he stared at Ryder. "If you're implying that Dr. Quinzel should be guilty by association, then I believe you will be too as you were found in the company of Joker, Deacon Blackfire, Dr. Isley before she was reformed, and a few other noteworthy criminals, correct?" Gohan asked as Ryder sputtered.
"I was forced to do that at the time!" Ryder stated as Gohan looked at him.
"So you claim, but shouldn't you be punished for the crimes you committed and the lives you helped to ruin?" Gohan asked throwing his own words back at him as he sputtered and tried to come up with a response.
Moving on, Gohan and Bulma answered many questions and comments from people, though a few were about if Bulma was his wife, before it was time to talk a bit more one on one with Bruce, Barry, Thea, Diggle, and Oliver.
"Who are you, exactly?" Oliver asked while Bulma handled the press that still had some questions.
"Bardock, a pleasure to meet you, Mr. Arrow." Gohan stated offering his hand, which Oliver shook while staring at him in surprise.
"Based on the fact Barry and Bruce are here, I'm guessing you know them as well." Oliver stated and the trio nodded. "Look, if this is to join that group of yours, I'm gonna have to say no." Oliver stated as Gohan shrugged.
"Doesn't matter, I'm more interested in making sure you and your crew aren't going to be under equipped for anything that may be incoming." Gohan stated before Karen came over to them, "Not to mention I'd like to potentially pool resources together for future projects and advancements as we go." Gohan explained making the group look at him, "We all run the top companies in the market for future expansions and industries not counting LexCorp, but with his new legal troubles that will likely fall back a bit. Plus, with Lex now getting investigated, and it only getting worse, getting his worthwhile employees and any projects and funding he was getting easily. Pulling the top companies together for R&D as well as advancements can only be a good thing." Gohan stated and it was true, if the companies that were all being called the future of technology were to work together, who knew what could be accomplished.
"I assume you have projects and plans in mind?" Bruce asked knowingly as Gohan nodded.
"Indeed, I already have a new element discovered, and once I've actually created it, it will revolutionize the energy industry." Gohan stated as he pulled a small device out and clicked it showing a hologram of a glowing blue triangular object.
"What is it?" Thea asked as she looked at in in awe.
"Well, until I create it, it's Unobtainium. Afterwards, if my calculations and observations are correct, then I'll call it Vibranium. It also happens that in the process, I may have also discovered a new metal that I plan to call Adamantium once I figure out how to utilize and shape it. Isn't that right, Cortana?" Gohan explained as Cortana appeared beside it.
"Yes, our initial projections lead us to believe that Adamantium could be stronger than nearly all currently known metals. Vibranium, if refined properly, could also become metal of such use. Of course, such things are speculation until we finish the projects to create them." Cortana stated surprising the others at her being there.
"Is that an AI?" Barry asked in shock as Gohan nodded.
"Indeed. Bulma and I created her to help with security, computers, organization, and networking." Gohan explained as Cortana smiled and waved. "Now, no offense to the rest of you, but I need to speak to Mr. Allen alone for a minute." Gohan stated giving a look to Bruce, Oliver, and Barry.
"Ah, well, I think I'll go talk to your lovely scientist." Bruce stated as he walked off and the others began to move as well.
Once they were far enough away, or at least appear that way since he knew Karen was a Kryptonian and thus she and Clark could hear this regardless, Gohan turned to Barry, "So have you considered my offer to train you?" Gohan asked as Barry frowned in thought.
"I've considered it, and Cisco and Caitlin think it's a good idea, but Wells doesn't for some reason." Barry stated since Wells had been rather adamant on Barry not getting training from an outside source that "couldn't be trusted" as he put it. Barry was still getting lectured on helping with the Imperium invasion.
"Probably because he's like you." Gohan stated making Barry look at him in confusion.
"What do you mean?" He asked and Gohan merely looked at him and then at Wells.
"He's a speedster. His energy signature has a similar wavelength as yours." Gohan stated making Barry widen his eyes, "I take it you didn't know that." Gohan stated as Barry shook his head and looked at Wells. "I can tell by your face that you think you know who he is. Don't do anything stupid or rash. For now, keep playing the fool, I'll teach you and get you ready to confront him, then we do it together to make sure that he doesn't get away and that he doesn't get the upper hand. I can work with your two friends too since their energy wavelength is different from a normal person's, so I'm guessing they're also Metas." Gohan stated making him look at him again, "Guessing you didn't know that either."
"No, neither of them has shown any capabilities. Are you sure?" Barry asked and Gohan nodded.
"Yeah, energy is different from person to person depending on the characteristics and effects on people. For instance, Superman's energy is different from Batman's and Supergirl's, and all three are different from yours. Their energy is on a different wavelength to normal people, so either their aliens, they're from another universe, or they're enhanced in some way." Gohan explained making Barry nod as he was doing his best to not glare at Wells.
"Ok, but are you sure? I mean everything we know about Wells shows-" Barry was cut off by Gohan.
"What all do you know exactly? Favorite color? Food? Where did he grow up as a child? His Dreams? Where did he go to school? Who were his friends when he was younger? The names of any pets he had? What he does when you're not around? How long he had been working on the Particle Accelerator? Why did he choose Central City of all the cities he could have chosen? Why did he keep such an item like the Particle Accelerator isolated and not let another company like Wayne join in? Why does he not supply the Police with the means of capturing and containing the Metahumans that the Accelerator created? Why is it that out of everyone at the explosion, only he was put in a wheelchair while those like Cisco and Caitlin weren't even harmed? Why did he take a specific interest in you and not in anyone else that was affected by the blast?" Gohan listed off making Barry frown. "Exactly, it's possible he's a good guy, just paranoid and secretive, but what if he's not and is just using you?" Gohan asked since he, Bulma, and Cortana had all dug in extensively into anyone noteworthy in the various industries.
The red flags, besides Lex and Stagg, were all around Wells as there was next to nothing on him. It was like anyone that could give information on him was either dead, incapable of communication, or had vanished into thin air. Either Wells didn't exist or someone replaced him and was making damn sure that no one could poke holes in their story.
"All right, I'll be in touch with getting training." Barry stated as he stuck his hand out and Gohan nodded and shook it.
"I'll have Cortana contact you, she'll ensure no one can eavesdrop on us while we talk. Also, just to be on the safe side, don't tell him about who anyone else is or about the tower, I don't want to risk that knowledge getting out to anyone we can't trust." Gohan stated making Barry nod as he walked off.
Gohan then smirked and whispered, "If either of you two Kryptonians want some training too, just come and see me. Strength doesn't matter much if you can't even hit your opponent or if you can, you can't hit him correctly to drop him with that one punch." Gohan stated as he saw Clark give a subtle nod while Karen stiffened as she glanced at Gohan making him smirk and wink at her.
Gohan then turned as a few reporters came to talk with him counting Lois.
LATER
Harrison Wells, or as he was really known as Eobard Thawne, entered his office and locked the door before standing from his wheelchair and moved a hidden wall panel causing it to open and reveal a chamber with various news articles.
He frowned as he looked around, the opening of Four-Star Incorporated and this Gohan Son person had completely caught him off guard along with the appearance of Bardock. The fact that he had unveiled an armor that wasn't even close to being created until the 23rd century only made things a bit more tense for him especially after the healing tank and him taking in villains and reforming them. It wasn't a huge leap to connect the Gohan and Bardock, one showed up shortly after the other after all, but unless he knew for certain that this Bardock or Gohan, whichever, could duplicate himself or could time travel and change his appearance then there was no way to know for sure.
At least, not conventionally.
"Gideon." He called for the AI he had stolen and used to help him in his plans.
"Hello, Mr. Thawne. What can I do for you?" A robotic voiced asked a small robot flew over to him.
"Any and all information on Gohan Son, founder of Four-Star Incorporated and a new hero Bardock." Eobard ordered as Gideon was silent a long moment.
"Gohan Son, founder of Four-Star Incorporated, hailed as the greatest mind of the 21st century eclipsing Barry Allen, Lex Luthor, Bruce Wayne, and several others easily. Hailed as a hero and innovator for his work in defense, medicine, security, reforming villains and criminals, and advancing space travel far enough to make colonization of other worlds possible thus lowering potential overpopulation. Through his efforts, a steady drop in pollution, crime, mortality rates, lab accidents, metahuman incidents, and casualties when Earth has been invaded was seen. Aided by his wife Videl Son and his mistresses Bulma Briefs, Lazuli, Anya, Angel, Pamela Isley, Harleen Quinzel, Kori Anders, Rachel Roth, Megan Morz, and Caitlin Snow, he revolutionized every industry on the planet and helped create, funded, and came up with the idea to create the EDF. Other notable feats include first colonization of other worlds, curing cancer, curing several metahumans of their powers, consolidating no less than 8 companies into his own, surviving 815 assassination attempts, created technology to revive Mars back to the paradise it was, enhancing the human race to be on equal footing with its 206 allies, and helping found the UUP and served as its first and longest serving chairman." Gideon informed making Thawne frown heavily as he knew none of those names or effects, while the last name for his mistresses shocked him as it indicated that Caitlin would leave and work with Gohan and THAT was not part of the timeline he remembered at all.
"Bardock, half-Saiyan warrior that is hailed as the greatest hero to have ever lived on Earth. His brutal tactics were hailed as necessary as he killed those who had blood on their hands and had no intention of redeeming themselves. Abilities include flight, creation of matter, extreme speeds, high level superhuman strength, energy creation, energy manipulation, beyond master level martial arts, the ability to increase his power by a factor of 30 a set number of times and the ability to increase his power by an additional factor of over a thousand. His greatest feats include eradicating the Cold Empire, breaking the new god tyrant Darkseid 6 times, destroying the super computer intellect known as Brainiac, destroying Despero the conqueror, becoming the conduit of Py'Tar, breaking the New God High-Father, defeating Hercules in a strength competition, stopping at least 13 planet-wide annihilations single-handedly, destroying invaders of Earth, training all members of the Justice League and EDF and most of the UUP's Defense Force, aiding Gohan Son in creating new advancements by giving him details on alien technology, breaking into Olympus and Asgard to make the gods back off of interfering with humans any longer, commanding a titan, destroying three titans, being the first commander of the UUP's Defense Forces, and finally killing a three Separate entities that nearly annihilated all life on Earth as well as destroying no less than 10 universal threats, both in this dimension, this timeline, this universe, and others." Gideon continued shocking Thawne as none of that sounded familiar at all.
"What is a Saiyan?" Thawne asked as Gideon hovered there.
"Saiyans are a warrior race that pride themselves on combat and becoming stronger. They are often compared to Spartans of ancient times in that they value strength, power, and fighting prowess above all. They created medicine, space travel, and combat gear specifically to enable them to fight more and more and have evolved in ways to ensure they can fight for longer periods of time, age slower, and adapt quickly to changes placed upon them. Bardock is classified as an anomaly of the race as he is peaceful unless pushed and has shown his intellect to be nearly on par with that of Gohan Son's. The race was believed to be extinct until Bardock revealed himself to most of the known galaxy in order to save the Green Lantern John Stewart from execution after he was framed by the Peacekeepers known as the Manhunters." Gideon explained as Thawne frowned more.
"What are the EDF and UUP?" Thawne asked not knowing those two things.
"The EDF also known as the Earth Defense Force was a worldwide organization created to act as a RRTS also known as a Rapid Response and Tactical Squad that originated in Las Angeles under the command of Gohan Son before it began to grow after the destruction of the organizations known as the Brotherhood, The Light, the League of Shadows, the League of Assassins, the League of Blades, the Legion of Doom, and Cadmus. The EDF's primary goal is civilian protection and threat extermination alongside any and all members of the Justice League that worked with them. While the Justice League handled threats beyond the EDF's capabilities, the EDF would provide support and evacuated all non-combatants and injured from the area. When the UUP was formed, half of their number went to become soldiers and guardians under the employ of the UUP while training new members to take their place on Earth." Gideon stated as Thawne frowned wondering what the hell was happening to the timeline. "UUP also known as the United Universal Protectorate was a universe version the United Nations having soldiers, scientists, commanders, governors, senators, and liaisons from all known 47 Galaxies in this universe with an additional 6 universes being allies and 12 more being unofficial allies due to Bardock and Gohan Son's connection to the ruler of those 12. The UUP brought an end to the tyranny of the Gordanians, Imperium, and Apokalips while also making New Genesis change from their prideful ways, turned the Thanagarians from their warlike ways while also freeing them from a blood pact they made with an Eldritch God, found lost Kryptonians and found them a planet to colonize and rebuild their way of life without accessing the planet's core, containing and student the Flame of Py'Tar, and assimilating the different Lantern Corps after Bardock broke them for their arrogance, cruelty, and corrupt ways. Through Gohan Son leading them, technology, science, and advancement occurred at an accelerated rate across known space with crime being minor save for a few incidents of pirates banding together for revenge." Gideon informed Thawne, who was rooted in place from shock.
"That is not the timeline I come from." Thawne stated and Gideon took it as a question.
"Correct, due to actions you and others have taken, the timeline has been altered. This is now a core timeline." Gideon stated making Thawne recoil in shock.
"Are you saying I can't go home anymore?!" Thawne demanded.
"Statistically, it is unlikely as the timeline you wish to return to will no longer occur, thus it will most likely face eradication with the UUP saving all people possible and relocating them to one of many colony worlds to rebuild their lives." Gideon stated as Thawne growled angrily.
"How do I turn the timeline back?!" Thawne demanded as Gideon hovered there before a red light blinked on him.
"Access is restricted: All files pertaining to the events that lead to creation of both the UUP and EDF are locked." Gideon stated as Thawne snarled.
"Then unlock them!" He ordered as Gideon hovered there.
"Password and 215-digit passcode required to unlock." Gideon stated as Thawne scowled.
"What are Bardock's weaknesses?!" Thawne asked knowing that if he killed Bardock then the timeline may falter back into place.
Gideon was silent as a second red light blinked. "Access restricted: All information pertaining to Saiyans and their weaknesses are encrypted and all information on weaknesses pertaining to Bardock are even more secure." Gideon stated as Thawne clenched his hands tightly that he was nearly drawing blood with his fingernails.
"Who is Bardock really and where can I find him?!" Thawne demanded as a third red light blinked on Gideon and then all three stopped blinking and solidified.
"Information is locked, unauthorized access attempted. This unit will now vacate premises if security override code is not given." Gideon stated shocking Thawne.
"What code?!" Thawne demanded before Gideon vanished in a flash of blue light. "Gideon?! Gideon!" Thawne shouted only to get nothing as the news articles and other glimpses of the future faded away making him roar in rage.
"They have to die, it's the only way to fix things. That fool is already starting to affect Barry and advance him further than I want him to be. I won't let them ruin my plans." Thawne growled as he started making plans for destroying those two.
He had come too far, sacrificed too much to let them stand in his way.
But how to remove them?
DAYS LATER: METROPOLIS
Gohan was at a café in a corner booth as he was waiting for hopefully a future business partner to show so they could talk. Said person was John Henry Irons, a scientist/engineer that used to work for Luthor before he left after Lex endangered lives by unveiling a power suit before it was fully ready.
Now, Irons used an improved version of his suit to help Superman under the hero name of Steel. Gohan wished to use Irons' insight and talents to further their defense projects as well as possibly advance more projects. In addition, Gohan hoped to look at his suit to help him make improvements and additions to his suit both for his own use and for the general use when it was implemented into actual use.
Of course, there was also talking to Karen Starr aka Powergirl about working with them too. Also, conveniently ignoring Luthor's attempts to talk to him.
Gohan then looked up as he saw Irons enter and smiled at him as he stood and shook his hand, "Mr. Irons, a pleasure." Gohan stated as he motioned to the chair, and both sat down.
"Mr. Son, I apologize for not being able to attend your unveiling, but situations were coming up that required my attention." Irons stated as Gohan nodded.
"I'm sure, two of your friends were out of town and thus it was just you and Kara to handle things." Gohan stated making Irons look at him in surprise. "I work with the League, and no they didn't tell me who you were, I figured that out myself. Your secret is safe with me, it's actually part of the reason I wished to meet you." Gohan elaborated making Irons frown.
"You want me to help you make the power suit." Irons stated as Gohan nodded.
"Correct, as well as improve it and your own with what my company is currently developing. However, to prove I'm not Luthor, you will have final say for when the armor is released for distribution. If you feel the armor isn't ready, then I don't care if we end up working on it for another 3 years before we unveil it, I want things done correctly, not quickly." Gohan stated as Irons looked at him a long moment.
"What's your proposal?" Irons asked as Gohan smirked already seeing this as becoming a good partnership.
MEANWHILE ON OA
A small group of the guardians were assembled away from the rest of their number. Why? Because they wanted to discuss a certain Saiyan and the threat he posed.
"So we are in agreement then? We must do something about this Saiyan on Earth." One of them stated as there were murmurs of agreement with one deciding to speak.
"Say what you want, Kaash, but he took apart the Manhunters like they were mere insects. It stands to reason that any of our Lanterns that we send could be just as easily beaten if not killed." One of them stated knowing it needed to be said.
Kaash, the one who was angry upon meeting Gohan, merely waved him off. "We are merely sending one or two to test his strength and power to have an idea of what kind of threat he is. I personally think he is simply using the Omni-King and Gods of Destruction as a means of frightening people from going against him. There's no proof to his claims and there's been no reason for the Omni-King to take an interest in this universe, and even if he did why would he send a Saiyan of all people and races?" He retorted making a few murmurs break out.
"And if his claim is true?" Another asked knowing such a thing had to be considered.
"Then all the more reason to learn what he's capable of and potentially bring him down. If he's acting as an agent of the Omni-King, all the more reason to bring him down. For all we know, he's merely a scout before the real threats come to secure this universe for the Omni-King. If we can bring him down, it may make the Omni-King hold back on sending another agent as we are stronger than he thinks." Kaash retorted and a few murmured.
"And what if he takes it as an insult and sends his gods of destruction? We couldn't do anything against those three that rampaged centuries ago." Another brought up knowing it was potentially a problem.
"We've grown stronger and better prepared since then. Plus, there are three kryptonians that have been under a yellow sun for years on Earth that can keep up with even the most dangerous of enemies. Not mention Apokalips and New Genesis will also fight as well. Even if this so-called Omni-King comes himself, I'm confident we can expel them as I've never believed those outlandish stories that he can wipe out a universe as easy as breathing. If such a being did exist, why would there be universes that weren't under his control? What being with that power would simply stop and not have all universes obeying?" Kaash replied knowing it was a valid point.
Silence hung in the air as none of the others had a response to that and began looking to each other in silent communication.
What felt like hours passed before one finally spoke, "Who do you propose we send?"
