After their victory at Rebeat Resort, the party return to Lastation's Basilicom to meet with "Miss Boss of Equivalent Exchange" as IF calls her, otherwise known as Kei.

Kei: "We meet again. It seems as though you even procured the materials I requested."

IF: "Big Brother's watching us, huh?"

Nepgear approached Kei and handed over the Treasure Gem, followed by the Hematite.

Nepgear: "Miss Kei, could you tell us where to find the Mascot now? It's been so long- we really need to hurry..."

Kei: "If it's really been so long, what's a few moments longer? I'm sure it won't change the moment tremendously. First, I'd like to hear about what happened three years ago in the Gamindustri Graveyard."

Nepgear: "Oh... That..."

Nepgear then went into detail about what happened in the past, more detail than when she first explained it to Goku days ago. About the individual they faced as a team of five. How they were utterly annihilated. And shot back to IF and Compa assisting her with another, proving to be a losing battle. They were lucky to survive. But the key detail that Nepgear described was that the CPU's were still alive; encased and entrapped in tangles.

Kei: "I see. Noire is still alive. That's a weight off my shoulders."

Kei exclaimed with a sigh, a faint smile on her face. IF found it a bit scary that a businesswoman of her stature was *smiling* in a good way.

Kei: "I wrote down the location of it's last known whereabouts. Here."

Kei passed the group a note which contained the location of the Mascot; Septent Resort, not too far from Rebeat Resort. With this in hand, the party was ready to depart, but Kei stopped them.

Kei: "But let me warn you of something. Your request will more than likely be denied outright. I wish you luck."

And so the team left Lastation's Basilicom towards Septent Resort. With their heads held high after their long goose chase as it were, their objective was nearing completion. They need only to approach the Mascot and convince it to join them, assuming Underling hadn't found it first...

Meanwhile back at Planeptune's Basilicom, a certain Saiyan woke up and got out of bed, much to a concerned Histoire.

"Please, stay rested!"

"Where is Kakarot? I've got to help him."

"Who...?"

"Ugh. Where, is Goku?"

"He's currently in Lastation, completing a task for their Oracle."

"I need to rush over there, right now."

Raditz jumped out of bed and cracked his shoulders and knuckles, readying himself for battle which disturbed Histoire for a moment.

"If you are seriously looking, to fight them again for revenge, you won't win."

"Revenge? No. I could care less about that now. I know what's coming for him, I overheard it myself. Another one of my kind is coming."

Raditz then immediately flew out of the open doorway from the balcony and flew over to Lastation, prompting Histoire to wonder what exactly he meant by that...

Goku: "Lastation Mascot? Where are you? Come on out, we need your help!"

IF: "We were given legit directions... The Mascot should be around here. I doubt miss Business would lie to us, but..."

Nepgear: "Oh wait, I think I see a similar place to where we found Planeptune's mascot!"

Nepgear immediately ran over to a small shrine, similar to the one in Virtua Forest, prompting IF and Goku to follow her. Eventually, they discovered the Mascot floating there, similar shape to the last one.

Nepgear: "Excuse me, Lastation's... Mascot...?"

Lastation Mascot: "Hmm? Planeptune's CPU...? No, the CPU Candidate."

Goku: "This Mascot seems to be more awake than Planeptunes... Is that normal?"

IF: "Must mean the shares situation in Lastation is worse than we thought..."

Nepgear: "Um, so basically, we'd like you to join us."

Lastation Mascot: "How sudden. Do you truly believe that I would follow you without knowing your intentions?"

Nepgear: "The CPU's are all trapped and helpless in the Gamindustri Graveyard, and we need your help to save them all."

Lastation Mascot: "I see. I had sensed unusual fluctuations, but to hear that all the CPU's are being held captive is a shock... If true, that only strengths my argument to not accompany you."

Goku: "Why? People are suffering, maybe even dying, we need your help now more than ever!"

Lastation Mascot: "My sole purpose is to protect this nation in the CPU's absence. If I were to accompany you, this land would lose all the divine protection it has left. Leaving with you is unallowable, as it is the sacred pact we made with the True Goddess."

IF: "So you're saying it's okay that the CPU's are to be left captive."

Lastation Mascot: "As I said, my purpose is merely to act as the CPU's proxy in her absence, not to instigate a rescue attempt."

Nepgear: "But..."

?: "You heard the mascot. Play time's over for you runts."

A sudden voice was heard as everyone looked around for it, Goku himself having a look, before the voice revealed itself. An armored individual with the same physical build and hairstyle as Goku, his armor coloured various shades of black and grey, with what looked like a tail wrapped around his torso above his waist.

IF: "Goku?"

Nepgear: "Wait, Goku?! How are you there, if you're here?"

Goku: "What are you talking about, I'm Goku!"

?: "You are a disgrace to your entire race, *Kakarot.* Thousands of Years of Evolution, and you cast it aside for a multitude of entitled weaklings!"

Goku: "I don't care who or what you are, but I am not Kakarot! My name is Goku!"

The being floated down and perched onto the floor, walking towards the group which prompted IF and Nepgear to ready their weapons. The individual mock laughed as he crossed his arms.

?: "Naturally, you drop your real heritage for your fake identity, Kakarot. But you were lucky. You were able to elude the injustices we suffered. But this world is already promising."

Goku: "Whatever your plans are, we won't let you."

Raditz: "That's right."

Another voice flew in as Raditz had flown all the way from Planeptune's Basilicom to their location, landing next to Goku with a smirk on his face. Their guards were now on all time high.

IF: "You."

Nepgear: "Why is he here?!"

Goku: "Raditz? What are you doing here?"

Raditz: "Helping you, Kakarot."

Raditz turned his head to Nepgear which made her visibly sweat a little.

Raditz: "Her. The one you call Nepgear. She spared me against you during that battle, and I've had a while to think about that. Not even Bardock would offer that privilege. For now, consider me an ally."

?: "We knew you wouldn't last long, Raditz. It's no wonder they sent me to deal with this because of your incompetence."

Raditz: "Unlike the rest of our race, your methods of combat are barbaric. Using such demonic fruit is not the Saiyan way, Turles."

Turles: "Pah. Humbug. Whatever. I'm here to deny you of your Mascot, and quell your attempts at bringing peace to a place that was supposed to be conquered."

Goku and Raditz stood beside each other and powered up, prompting Nepgear to transform into Purple Sister and join them whilst IF simply stood there and watched.

IF: "Starting to think that I'm not as useful here."

Purple Sister: "IF, no.."

Goku: "Come on, IF, you're a great fighter!"

Turles aimed a palm towards IF and smirked.

Turles: "Let's see how you like it when all that power is used against you, little girl."

Raditz immediately stood in front of IF and prepared a Ki Blast in front of him.

Raditz: "Fat chance, Turles."

Things were beginning to tense up at Septent Resort. A new foe to Goku had emerged, but a new ally was gained in Raditz, thanks to the pure heart of Nepgear. The Mascot looked on and thought of this as a test. If Nepgear could handle this, she would be entrusted with it's power. Another battle to decide the fate of a nation was about to begin...
