EPOV

Two days later, as I came back from the office, I froze in my place when I heard the familiar sound coming from my home.

My piano.

I had even forgotten that such a thing existed in my house. I couldn't believe I had completely ignored my favorite thing in the entire world.

And today this horrible sound woke up the possessiveness in me. On the positive note, I was glad to find out that I still cared about materialistic things!

Who the hell was playing this?

Could it be Bella? But then I remembered my first meeting with Bella, when this piano used to be at my parents' house. She was not this bad as far as I could remember!

This person was so horrible. With each key he or she was pressing on the piano, if it felt like someone was stabbing me in the stomach.

I almost ran where the piano was situated. I just wanted to kill that person.

And well... I didn't know who the hell was the one who was killing my piano.

Look at him killing my poor baby!

I went toward him and lifted him from behind. His age must be somewhere between three to four.

"Who the hell are you?" I wanted to ask.

But that might be a bit of a rude question for a child.

"Who are you?" I asked him in a firm voice.

He observed me from head to toe, before he said, "You are Tom."

What the fuck?

"What?" I asked him.

"Mommmaaaa... Mommmaaaaa..." he screamed instead of giving me a reply.

Who the hell was he?

Suddenly Bella came from the kitchen with one woman who I didn't know. Her face looked familiar, but I couldn't recognise her.

"What happened?" The woman asked. I had no idea who she was.

"I'm... I'm sorry, Edward." Bella started apologizing to me. "I'm really sorry. I was just coming to get him away from the piano. I'm sorry..." she spoke breathlessly. "Oh I didn't even introduce you, right? Meet Alice, my cousin. She is from Chicago. Alice, this is Edward. Ummm... my husband," she hesitated while introducing me.

"Hi..." I said to Alice. Her face looked familiar. I might have seen her at the wedding. Yeah, she was in bride squad Bella and Emmett's wedding!

"Hey." she smiled back.

"I'm really sorry about the piano," she said.

"No, it's... okay!" I replied while looking at the piano. That poor thing!

"And this is Seth," She said as she ruffled that monster's hair, "Alice's son."

"Oh I see." I said. "Hi Seth."

"You are Tom," he said, which made Bella and Alice chuckle.

"I'm sorry about that," Alice said.

"What does that mean?" I said.

"Well, he is a crazy fan of the 'Tom and Jerry' series, and when he likes someone he addresses him as Jerry and when he doesn't like someone, well... he calls him Tom." Alice said and started laughing.

"What the fuck? And by the way, people still watch Tom and Jerry?" I asked.

"It's a bad word." Seth said.

"Edward..." Bella shrieked, "Look at your language!" she shook her head.

It was fun to see her like this. It was the first time she had talked to me in this tone, and I... liked it!

"I'll try." I smiled.

"You are Tom." Seth said again.

"Don't call him that, Seth." Alice told him in a warning tone. "Come on, baby... I'll put on something for you on your iPad."

I smiled at Bella. She looked happier today. And I realized how wrong I was about her. I considered her to be fragile, but she was so strong. Probably she was stronger than everyone I knew.

Even after her miscarriage, she was so good with a child. Why did she have to go through all that pain? She deserved better!

But probably after all the horrible things she had to go through, it's like she had become even stronger. I was in awe of her.

"I'm sorry about the piano," she said.

"No, it's... fine!" I said.

She looked as if she was trying to stifle a laughter.

"What?" I smiled.

"No, it's just... your face when you look at the piano! I'm sorry!" She chuckled.

"Come on!" I smiled.

"Kids!" Alice sighed as she came back.

"Alice is a fashion designer and she's here for some work purpose." she came back with Alice. She's staying at gran's house," she said.

"That's nice," I said.

"Momma..." Seth called out for Alice.

"Just a minute." she sighed and went back again to attend Seth.

"Ummm, sorry... I didn't know they were coming today. She wanted to surprise me. And I ended up asking them to stay for dinner without asking you. I'm sorry..." Bella told me
with some hesitation. "It happened so suddenly... I didn't think about that at that time."

"Are you kidding me, now?" I smiled, "You could invite whoever you want. You can do whatever you want. You don't need to ask me for anything."

"I thought..." she said.

"Just don't think much, okay?" I smiled. That's when my phone started to ring. It was from Marcus.

"Excuse me... I need to attend this. There's something important going on work wise today," I said.

"No problem," she smiled, "And thanks again!"
