-Next day-
I wake up then the Bio-suit gives me my uniform and I head over to the school.
Nearing the school I take in the familiar sight of Sona standing at the front gate.
"Good Morning Souna," I say while doing a mid-bow to her to show some respect to her.
"Good Morning Jin, I hope that your first day was good." She replies while staring at the many students that were walking to their classes.
"It was fine and I managed to make a friend too!"
"I see, okay then carry on."
I begin to leave but then, I feel something in my chest.
I should at least befriend one of the heiresses before the show begins.
If I can do that, then I should be set for when I need help against Stray Devils, not that I need it but you never know.
"Hey, Souna. Would you like to have a game of chess during lunch tomorrow?" I ask, secretly hoping that she would say yes, though I don't know why.
"Sure, I don't want to get rusty or anything so this will be a good warm-up. One of the Student Council members will come to pick you up 5 minutes before the start of lunch. Don't be late."She says as I throw a nod at her and head over to my first class of the day, happy that she accepted my offer.
Again, I don't know why I'm feeling like this when I'm with her.
A screen appears in front of me so I mentally open it while the teacher is explaining something that I already know thanks to my superior intelligence.

A few hours later, it was lunchtime, I planned on enjoying the small period of rest, and away from curious students.
Taking a seat against a tree, I take out a candy bar that I have bought yesterday from my inventory and I was about to eat it until...
"You're sitting in my spot."A voice says, bringing me out of my musings.
I turned to see a white-haired loli staring down at me, with a curious look in her eye.

I move over a bit to the side giving her a spot.
"Here you go," I say, pushing a bit aside so she could sit next to me.
She nodded before sitting next to me as I was about to eat, I noticed that she was staring at the candy bar that I was holding in my hand as I looked at her with a confused look.
"Oh, you want some?" I ask her.
She nodded yes.
"Here you go," I say, giving her some and she took it and began to eat before looking at me.

"My name is Koneko Toujou, Let's be friends." She says with a small smile etched on her face.
"Nice to meet you, Koneko. My name is Jin Kageyami."I say, introducing myself.
While I and Koneko were sitting together the boys nearby were watching them but they didn't look happy as they come over to us.
"Hey, bastard." The boy says as he and his posse walk up to me and Koneko.
"Yeah, I can help you?" I ask with as much snark as possible.
"How dare you hang out with our school mascot. Koneko belongs to all of us!" A boy shouts angrily at me, thinking that Koneko belongs to them.
Now, they're getting on my nerves, time to teach them a lesson.
I stood up and glared at the second boy.
"Hey, you!"I shout angrily as I flare a small bit of mana to make myself a bit menacing.
"What!?" One of them asks, glaring at me so I reply with one of my own.
"What makes you think that you can treat her like she's an object?! She is a living person you freaking assholes!" I say pointing at Koneko while looking at them with a look of disdain and anger.
That makes the second boy mad he rushes me about to throw a punch at me, but I dodge his punch I punch him in the face with my superior strength and knocked him out cold he drops on the ground.
The other guy is trying to sneak behind me and tried to punch me, but I ducked down and uppercut him in the chin knocking him out too.
The crowd of boys started completely shocked at what just I does as I turned to them.
"What the fuck are you guys looking at?! You want some too!"I shout, feeling the power coursing through my veins.
"NO! Sir!"They shout and run like a bunch of headless chickens.
"Good! Now get lost!" I roar out while leaking out more of my mana.
They scatter away like cockroaches as I turn to face Koneko with a smile on my face.
"If they treat you like that again, just call me," I tell her with a tone of finality.

Koneko nodded as a smile formed on her face.
Then we move back to our spot enjoying our lunch break.
-Timeskip-
As school was over and walking home, I heard the barking... no, yipping dogs coming from an alleyway
"Okay, what is making these dogs yip their throats out?"I grumbled walking into the enough, I saw three medium-sized dogs barking at a small cardboard box on the edge of the alleyway.
"Okay, what are these dogs barking at in the box?"I mumbled walking up behind the dogs and pushing them aside with my foot, which caused the dog that I touched first to jump and tumble over my foot.
"Shoo mutts."I snapped at the dogs trying to make them go, they stood and barked at me, so in turn I picked up two trashcan lids and slammed them together, causing them to jump and flee my line of sight.
"So... what were they barking at?"I asked aloud turning back to the cardboard box and getting onto my knees to look into the was met by a clawed swat to the face.
"Ow," I said blinking at the sudden attack on my face.
I was attacked by a little black cat with hazel gold eyes that was hiding in the box, naturally, I observed her.

'Interestingly, I have found Koneko's sister and how I can so easily be killed by a cat with people near me.'I look back at the black cat while still sitting in the box.
"Well... aren't you a feisty little one," I said softly and held out my hand to the Nekoshou that was disguised as a but surely I managed to pet the disguised devil with a single finger as she was purring at my touch.
'I always did consider myself good with cats.' I thought as I think about taking her home with me.
"Come on little one, you're safe. Are you hungry?" I ask her.
Slowly but surely the small cat stepped out of the box and I picked her up and held her in my arms.
"Well, this was easier than thought," I said mostly to myself.
"Mreow?" She meowed.
"Don't you worry about it little kitten?"I say, smiling at her.
"Let's just get you to my place, I'm pretty sure I've got something you'd like there and if I don't I will go to a pet store if needed."
'So... I've found Kuroka before canon even starts, but the question is whether or not she's with Vali at the moment or not.'I thought maybe it was a bad idea to bring her to my home then again she might follow me anyway after meeting her and also I may have prevented her from joining Vali's team and having her for myself.
Plus, who doesn't want a beautiful sexy cat girl for himself?
I looked back to Kuroka, who was still digging her face into the chopped-up fish.
I was thinking about using the slave collar on her, but I turned against that idea because the problem is she will notice that something is wrong, and she will try to get away from me.
I want her to take a liking to me and not dislike me and also if Kuroka is with Vali's team then she might bring her teammates to attack me.
I need to know if she tried to go somewhere while I'm not a few minutes of thinking I have come up with an idea in my head.
'I know I will buy a cat collar from a pet shop and put the tracking chip inside of the collar. Plus the chip is technology not magic means that she will not notice it and I will know if she is up to something!'I barely held back my chuckle at my plan as I stand up and walked over to Kuroka and pet her head, causing her to look at me in disbelief and fear.
"I'm heading out for a while, I don't know how long am I going to be gone, so you can stay here while I'm gone, okay?"I tell her while petting her head.
"Meow!"She replied before returning to eating her fish as I walk out of my home.
Walking down the street, I was thinking about the fact that I managed to meet both of Nekomata's sisters in the short span of a day.
While some people would find that hilarious, I'm getting more worried because this most likely means that Issei is either dead or left the country, making me the new protagonist of this story.
If that is the case, then I need to unlock my Sacred Gear as that will give me an edge over my enemies if I can't use magic to defeat them.
I buy the collar then walk back home and put it on her, avoiding a couple of her swats as she didn't want me to put the collar on.
I then go into my room and sit in a cross-legged position and begin focusing on bringing out my Sacred Gear.
After a minute of intense concentration, I do feel something but it's vain, almost like it's not meant to be here so I force myself to bring it out.
A pillar of black and purple flames erupts from my left hand so I cover my eyes to not get my eyes burned off but oddly enough, it doesn't hurt.
It's like I feel at peace seeing and sensing the power of these flames.
Once the light show ends, I see a thin, blue line attaching itself to my wall so thinking about it, I manage to pull back into my Sacred Gear.
I did it!
"I unlocked my Sacred Gear so that should help me have an edge against someone like maybe Riser but I want to improve on my assassination techniques and I think I know who to get," I say to myself as I take the [Companion Gem] out of my [Inventory].
Hestia, how do I summon the companion?
Simply crush the gem and your companion will be summoned and will have knowledge of both you and the world you're inhabiting.

I crush the gem and a blinding light escapes from the palm of my hand so I let go of it as it also burns.
When it fades away, the best Bleach is standing in front of me.
"So, looks like I've been summoned to help you, huh?"Yoruichi asks, stretching her arms while wearing a cocky grin on her face.
"Yep. I need to improve my assassination and stealth techniques and you are the best person when it comes to things like this." I say to her.
"Alright. If that's all you want, then I guess I have no choice but to train you. Do be warned, I'm not going to hold your hand the entire time nor will I pull my punches when we're sparring." She says while I nod my head, accepting those terms.
I didn't expect it to be that easy but I'll take what I can get.
I show her around the house and introduce her to Kuroka, who's sleeping in a small bed that I bought for her.
I also bought one for Yoruichi since I expected myself to summon her either after the date with Raynare or when I would go help Rias deal with Riser Phenex.
"Hmm, this could be useful but are you sure don't want to sleep with me?"She asks while batting her eyes so I grumble something under my breath and leave her to it.
I lay on my bed and soon enough, I enter a dreamless but peaceful sleep.
