(Far beyond the boiling isles)
The first sound Luz heard was the crashing of waves onto the shore and the cawing of seagulls.
Luz picked herself up and immediately the world around her began to spin. She fell back onto the sand but this time it was on her back. When she looked up and saw a bright blue sky, three tropical bird palisman flew above then down towards the group, a Flamingo, a Whooping crane, and last was Swan. She got up as the three Palisman came towards the group, Luz then heard the stomping of hooves on the beach and saw a Tapir, Donkey, and a Bactrian camel. These palisman were noticeably bigger than their boiling isles counterparts.
Everyone else woke up shortly after this and gathered around each other in a protective circle. Luz then looked around her circle and noticed Hunter was nowhere to be found.
"Worry not, your friend is in good hands."
Luz looked towards where the Tapir, Donkey, and a Bactrian camel were an extremely short woman with long graying hair came out from behind them. Luz instinctively grabbed for her staff but it was nowhere to be found, she then remembered that when they were teleported here, string-bean hadn't been among them, the only Palisman among their group were Ghost and Martha.
Before Luz could say anything Vee ran up to the short woman.
"Where is he?!" Vee shouted.
"And where are we?" Gus asked.
The Whooping crane then flew over to the short lady and landed in between Vee and the short woman, it looked at her a moment then grabbed onto her blue hair and tried to lead her deeper into the island, leaving Luz and the others behind.
"Please follow me, I'll inform you of your brother's conditioner on the way." The short woman said.
Luz looked back a moment at the others.
"J-just go, Luz. We'll just stay here." Willow said while trying to avoid the awkward glare coming from the flamingo.
"What do you want me to do, Big sister luz." The Collector asked.
Luz bent down and put her hand on her new student's shoulder.
"Collector, older sister Vee and I have to check on Big Brother Hunter. I need you to stay with Willow, Gus, and Amity, ok. After all only you and Riley have palisman. "
The collector nodded.
Luz turned around to follow the short lady into the jungle but she then felt a hand try and take hers, she turned around and saw it was Amity. Luz immediately pulled her hand away and looked a mix of Uncomfortable and Angry.
"Luz-" Amity didn't get to finish as Luz ran deep into the jungle, running after the short lady. Amity turned around and noticed everyone was giving her a strange look. She then looked down and was about to walk away but felt the Collector's staff go out in front of her.
"No, we're staying here just like big sister Luz said.
Amity easily pushed the staff out of the way but as she was doing so she noticed the staff itself was none other than ghost.
"Hey! That's a ghost, what are you doing with her?!"
The Collector frowned at Amity then looked proudly at Ghost in her staff form. Willow hoping to calm the situation interjected.
"The collector had dream about ghost a night ago." Willow said.
Willow then looked down at the Collector.
"Isn't that right, collector?"
The collector nodded and then looked at Ghost again.
"Ghost and I were meant to be. Isn't she the most beautiful and best Palisman there ever was?"
"How did you two meet up anyway?" Gus asked.
"After my dream I-"
The collector stopped talking when Amity put out her hand.
"I'd like her back please."
The collector glared at Amity and then held ghost covetously.
"No, she's My Palisman."
Amity took a deep breath and then looked back down at the collector.
"I promise once this is all over I'll help you find a new Palisman but-"
"No!" The Collector said angrily.
"I don't want a new Palisman, I want to keep ghost!"
"She isn't yours. She didn't pick you, you just took her!"
"Shows what you know! Ghost did pick me, she's my Palisman. Besides it's not like you were looking hard for her when you were with Jinn. She was kept in a dark and wet cell with no food! If you cared about her then you would have looked harder for her!"
Amity was a bit taken aback by this statement. She had looked for ghost all over Hexside but she didn't look hard enough it seems, how could she? She had been busy trying to Double cross Jinn and keep her family from being killed. She looked over at her former Palisman, still in her staff form. She hadn't changed out once since they had been reunited.
"Ghost?" Amity asked.
The Cat Palisman didn't change.
"Ghost, c'mon girl, come to me."
Still, ghost stayed in her staff form, she had found someone new.
(Deep in the jungle)
Luz had lost track of the short woman in the jungle.
"Vee! Short lady, where are you?"
As she was running through the woods, Luz slipped on a rock and fell into black mud!
Luz spit out the mud and tried to get out but she couldn't move. She looked around and then cried out: Help!"
No one responded.
"Vee, Short lady, anyone?!" She tried to move again but this only made her body sink slightly deeper into the mud.
"Agh! Anyone, please help!"
Luz then heard a whistling sound coming from above her. She noticed the swan from earlier flying down and landing a few feet away from her.
"Oh hey there buddy, listen go get help, ok?"
The swan didn't move but instead just pecked at his feathers for a moment then looked back a Luz.
"C'mon, you gotta get someone. I know you can understand me."
To Luz's relief, the swan did get up and began to walk closer to her. Was he gonna try and pull her out? He didn't look that strong but maybe he was surprisingly strong, he was bigger than usual Palisman.
The swan extended its neck out until its beak was an inch away from Luz's face then puked all over her!
"Eewwww!"
(Deeper in the jungle)
The Whooping Crane finally let go of Vee's hair. Vee rubbed the area where the bird had grabbed her as she watched it fly into a nearby Temple. Vee was gonna go back to the beach but before Turing around she heard a familiar voice in the wind.
"Vee."
Her eyes went wide as she heard this. That was Hunter's voice. It sounded weak but it was her brother.
"Don't worry Hunter, your little sister is coming."
Vee was a little hesitant to enter the temple in her natural Basilisk form, not knowing how the inhabitants of the temple would react to seeing a basilisk enter so she changed to her human form before running in.
The inside of the temple was a dark jade color, there were carvings with scenes from whatever religion the people here practiced. One in particular that caught her attention was a multi-headed angle creating several large demons who looked almost exactly like a king.
"Ah good, your here."
Vee turned around and saw the short lady from before standing next to a small rectangular pool, The Whooping crane landed on the corner of the pool. Vee walked up to the pool and was mesmerized to see Hunter floating in neon green water. The bird above Hunter tried to look closer at him but vee was not having that.
"Get away from him!"
Vee then transformed into a Barbary lioness and roared at the Bird and short woman.
The short lady backed away but the Whooping crane stood its ground, standing defensively above Hunter.
Vee growled but the bird still didn't move.
"That's not necessary. Look in the pool and you'll see that your brother is in no imminent danger." The short lady said as she walked over.
Vee reluctantly turned back to her human form and looked into the pool, aside from some minor burns on his body, he looked healthy enough. She put her hand in the water and took his hand and held it tightly.
"Hunter…it's me Vee, your sister."
Hunter didn't respond.
"Hunter, c'mon, wake up."
"He won't be able to answer you. He's healing. "
Vee felt a few tear drops falling into the tub. One of her tears landed on one of Hunter's burns, she noticed that it began to heal quickly before fading away immediately.
"H-how did that happen?"
"This is a very special place, things work differently here. The reason your brother isn't as injured as he should be is that he has been floating in the tears of the Mother Titan, as you can see they have immense healing abilities. The tears themselves gather their power from the love of every Woman, man, or beast that roams on this island. Your love for your adopted brother helped his healing."
"H-how did you know he's my adopted brother?"
"Most witches don't have basilisks in their gene pool."
"Right."
Vee looked down at Hunter again.
"How long till he wakes up?"
"It could be days or months, it all depends on-"
"Vee!"
Vee and the short lady turned around and saw a mud-covered luz enter the temple with a swan flying overhead.
"Luz, thank god for you here. This lady says Hunter is in some kind of coma because of his burns. Maybe this is a long shot but maybe you could try and get him awake. I've seen stuff on Korean Dramas where the voice or act of a loved one wakes someone else up from a Coma."
Vee loved the idea as soon as she heard it, Luz waking up Hunter with a true loves kiss just like in the old Disney movies. Hunter's feelings for Luz would finally be reciprocated.
Vee's hopes were quickly dashed to the wind when instead of a kiss Luz woke Hunter from his coma by punching him square in the jaw!
"Wake up!" Luz shouted.
The punch nearly knocked Hunter out of the tub!
He rubbed his cheek and then looked at Luz in pure anger.
"What heck was that about?!"
Vee looked to Luz who herself looked proud of what she had accomplished.
"It was the best way to wake you up, Dear brother or should I call you Goldie Locks instead."
"Wouldn't sleeping beauty have made more sense?"
Now Luz looked miffed.
"Don't correct me! You should be thanking me, if I hadn't socked you in the face you would still be asleep."
" I'd rather still be asleep than be smacked in the face! Your Fists are like frozen Turkeys!"
Luz was about to respond but stopped when she saw Vee lovingly embrace Hunter. She smiled at this then joined Vee in hugging Hunter. She noticed Vee giving her a look then mouthed: tell him your glad he's ok."
Luz looked Hunter in the eye and smiled before hugging him again and holding him tightly.
"Don't ever do that again, ok?"
"I was just-"
"No, you're never doing that again, Understand! You can't just sacrifice yourself without thinking, Hunter. You have people that care about you and need you, do you know how worried Vee and I were when you got burned up?! Did you think about how heartbroken my mom would be to lose her new son?!"
"Mo-I mean Mrs. Noceda would miss me?"
Now Luz got Angry.
"You call her Mom! My mom loves you like the son she never had but always wanted and not to mention me and Vee would both lose the Big Brother we always wanted."
Luz looked to Vee.
" Isn't that right Vee?"
"Ya!" Vee said.
Hunter was about to reply but felt Luz and Vee hug him again. He smiled and returned the gesture to his two sisters, the sisters he had always wanted.
The Whooping crane flew off the pool and landed in between the two girls, making a wide birth, it made a Bugle-like call at the two.
"Ugh, Hunter, who's your new friend?" Vee asked.
"Oh, this is Naan. She's helped take care of me since I got here."
The Whooping crane cawed at the two again.
"She seems to be protective of you."
"She often is around her patients." The short lady said as she walked up to the three teens.
"Allow me to introduce myself, My name is Astrid Desiderius, welcome to my island."
"Your island?" Luz asked.
"Yes, it was given to me as a gift by Titan himself."
The three looked shocked.
"You knew Titan?"
"Of course, I knew him since he was a baby, he gave me this island after I finished crafting his palisman, The Bat Queen."
Luz's eyes went wide as she heard this.
"You made the Bat Queen?"
"Of course I did, I'm the best palisman smith there ever has been. In my opinion, she wasn't one of my better-looking creations, but Titan always seemed so fond of her. Oh and speaking of Palisman, I see you two have found your new Palisman." Astrid said while looking at Luz and Hunter.
"But we're still waiting on your palisman, dear," Astrid said while looking at Vee.
"Mine? I'm not a witch, I'm a Basilisk, Remember?"
"Yes I'm aware but for what's coming… oh good, he's here."
Vee then heard a high-pitched bleat and turned around to see the Bactrian camel from earlier standing behind her.
The Bactrian camel looked down at Vee for a moment before spitting a large amount of bile in Vee's face!
"Agh! He just spit on me!" Vee shouted.
"Oh no Dear, Camels don't spit, he just vomited on you."
"Great."
(Forty five minutes later)
Luz, Amity, Hunter, Willow, Gus, Vee, the collector, and Riley all sat at a round table. They were served by a small abomination and each was served a small cup of a clear liquid in wooden cups.
"So what is this stuff exactly?" Gus asked.
"It's my special brew, it's called Måneskinn but in the Human world I believe it's called Moonshine."
Luz looked over and saw the collector was about to take a sip and quickly took his cup away.
"Hey!" The collector said.
"Your too young for this, you can have some when you're older," Luz replied.
The collector looked peeved but kept his mouth shut.
"But we can drink some right?" Riley asked.
"Not unless you want to destroy your kidneys and liver."
Riley put the cup back down.
" While I do think it's impolite to refuse offerings from a host I'll ignore your rudeness and get right to the point. I know why you're all here."
"You do cuz we don't. Amity explained that we were transported here because of some kind of spell Jinn cast thanks to some old map or something like that, it's been kind of hard to keep track of everything that's been going on the past few days." Willow said with obvious fatigue in her voice.
Luz looked over at Willow as well as Gus, Hunter, and Vee, they all seemed so exhausted. She couldn't blame them after all they'd been through from losing their souls to becoming hollow men and then getting their souls back in now being transported to this weird island, thinking about it she was shocked they could even have the strength to stand up, even the collector looked a bit tired.
" I don't mean to be rude but our friends here are a bit tired, if you could explain to us, what's going on quickly we'd appreciate it," Amity said.
"Finally someone with some manners."
Astrid then looked at everyone gathered at the table and then began to speak again.
"Eons ago back when this word was still young, Titan had a vision one night, he dreamt of a great warrior who would do battle against a hulking Warlock dressed in black armor. Titan knew that this would be an important battle so he commissioned me to Make this warrior a suit impenetrable armor, a shield, and a sword. I made these items as he asked and was told to wait for this warrior to one day come."
Astrid then took a sip of her drink before continuing.
"That wasn't the last of Titan's visions though. After a while he had another dream, he saw that the very warriors I was to wait for would also have her entourage that was to require a new Palisman to help in this fight and since I am quite the gifted Palisman smith, I created each of the Palisman that have been following you around. "
Each of them excluding Riley and the collector looked at their supposed New Palisman. Near Luz was the swan from earlier, Behind Amity was a Donkey, Willow sat near the strange flamingo, the Tapir had been sleeping under the table at Gus's feet, Naan the Whooping crane hadn't left Hunter's side since he left the temple, vee, on the other hand, was still getting camel vomit out of her hair.
"Not to be rude Miss Astrid, but I, Gus, and Vee don't need a new Palisman. I still have my partner, Clover, Gus still has Emmiline Bailey Marcostimo, and vee… well she never seemed that interested in magic, to begin with so I doubt she would need a Palisman, no offense, vee."
"No, I'm with you on this. I don't want anything to do with magic or Palisman. In case you forgot, I'm a basilisk! I eat magic, even back when we all lived in the human world when you were all running away from the collector it took all the strength I had not to eat any of your Palisman, especially flapjack, I would daydream about eating that tasty little morsel."
"Vee!" Hunter shouted.
"Oh relax, I would've never acted on it besides, those were just daydreams."
"Back to the point, even if you still have Palisman, they are not here currently she will need new or I guess in your case, temporary partners to battle Jinn when he comes here. The Warriors will need all the help she can get in this fight. I suggest you all get acquainted with your new partners."
Astrid then got up off the table and begin to walk toward her quarters.
"Wait where are you going now?" Amity asked.
"I'm going to bed, I suggest you all do the same as well as take this time to get close to your new Palisman."
As Astrid left the room, everyone else began to get up and leave. Amity noticed Ghost changing into her natural form, she wanted to embrace her old Palisman but Ghost instead jumped off the chair and into the collector's arms.
"C'mon, ghost." The collector said as he caught her and then began to scratch her behind the ears. Amity then felt something Heavy on her shoulder and noticed the Donkey that had been sitting near her earlier. Amity gently pushed the head off of her shoulder.
"Sorry big fella, I'm not in the mood right now." Amity tried to sound pleasant to the Donkey but judging by the way he looked he was disappointed.
Amity looked at the dinner table and found an untouched apple, she grabbed it and held it in front of the Palisman's face.
"Hungry?"
The Donkey's face Blighted at the site of the Apple.
Amity smiled and then handed the Donkey the fruit.
The Palisman joyfully eat it, he was a messy eater, Amity could tell that by seeing the various apple chunks and wads of saliva falling from the Palisman's mouth.
A cool breeze settled over the island then, Amity shivered but noticed the Donkey begin to shiver violently.
"Hey Dwarf lady, you can't just leave him out here all night!"
Nobody answered.
Amity sighed then gently pulled her supposed new partner forward into the massive house. The Donkey began to shiver less and less until he finally stopped. Amity hadn't been paying attention to where she was going and found herself in a large green room, the room was filled with multiple Large pillows.
"Well I guess we can crash here for tonight and…"
Amity stopped talking when the Donkey walkers into the room and laid atop the biggest pillow in the room, the very one Amity was gonna use as a bed. He then hee-hawed as Amity walked towards him. She tried to push him off but he was too big. The Donkey noticed this and hee-hawed again only this time it sounded different to Amity.
"What did you say?"
Again he hee-hawed.
"That's your name, Silenus?"
The Donkey nodded as she got closer, she smiled as she looked into the creature's eyes, and then rubbed his nose.
"Nice to meet you, Silenus. I'm sorry if I've been rude to you."
Amity then laid down on a park of the pillow the Donkey wasn't covering.
"It's just been hard for me lately. I was having problems with my now Ex-girlfriend, Got possessed by an old genie, and a lot more horrible things happened after that. I found out I had a twin brother and now my old Palisman, ghost has left me for the collector..not that I can blame her, I'd leave me too if the roles were reversed."
Silenus snorted after hearing that.
"Well even if you don't agree she still left me like everyone else, I see the way they look at me now, afraid that this is just another act and that I'm not back to normal. When Jinn possessed me it felt like a part of myself that even I didn't even know about was set free and I hate to say this but it felt good but now I just wish it would have stayed bottled up."
Amity got in a fetal position and rested against Silenus.
"I just wish I could make things right."
Silenus then transformed into his staff form then fell into Amity's arms.
Amity was Astonished to see her new Palisman staff, Silenus himself may have seemed a tad crude but in his staff form, he was Elegant and winsome. She smiled at the staff before gently laying down on the massive pillow and quickly fell asleep.
(The Collector's room)
Luz carried the Collector to his room, he'd practically fallen asleep on the way there. She undid the covers and gently placed the collector on the bed before putting the covers over him. Ghost jumped up on the bed and rested on the collector's right side.
Luz was about to get up when she heard her new student's voice.
"Big sister Luz?"
Luz turned around and walked back to the bed.
"I thought you were asleep."
"I was but the ghost woke me up…would you read a story for me?"
Luz sighed.
"Collector, I'm tired. Can't we just-"
"Please?"
The collector gave his new big sister a pleading look.
Luz smiled.
"Ok, one story but I get to make up myself, how about that?"
The collector smiled and nodded then grabbed Ghost and held her in his arms so she could hear.
Luz smiled softly then drew a glyph into the air and the whole room was filled with bright blue lights.
"There was once a very powerful boy named the collector who lived outside the universe with his siblings the Archivists. The collector was different from his siblings because unlike them he wanted to experience all the things the known universe and every other world could offer."
Luz looked over and noticed she had the collector's attention.
"So one day the collector left his home and traveled to a place called the Boiling Isles."
"What did I…I mean he does once he got to the Boiling Isles?"
"Well, I'll tell you, the collector came at a very good time, for you see a dark warlock by the name of Jinn had come to enslave all the witches, demons, and everyone else on the Boiling isles. The collector wished to defeat Jinn but he wasn't strong enough yet. So he went out into wildnesses and found someone who could help, a weird human Witch…"
"Was it you?"
"It's very rude to interrupt your older siblings, ya know."
"I'm sorry, please continue."
"Meow." Ghost said.
"Please keep going, ghost wants to hear it too."
"Ok, the Collector knew he had to learn from someone who thought outside the box so he begged and pleaded for the Human witch Luz to be his mentor, it was kinda humiliating."
The collector was about to say something but remembered what Luz said earlier and kept his mouth shut.
Luz smiled at this and then continued.
The Witch reluctantly excepted him as her student and immediately began to train him in all the ways of magic that she knew. They were not alone in their fight, with them were Willow the plant witch, Gus The illusionist, Hunter the warrior, and Vee the shapeshifter."
"What about Miss Amity?" The collector asked.
Luz looked crestfallen as she heard her ex-girlfriend's name.
"Ya, she was there too. Anyway, when all these witches banded together, jinn got scared of them, so scared in fact that he tried to sneak into the very lighthouse our heroes called home and tried to capture them in their sleep but they had a little help from a special someone."
"Who?"
Luz bent down and petted ghost.
"A cat Palisman by the name of Ghost, that's who."
The collector looked down happily at his partner.
"Did you hear that, girl? Your in the story too."
"Meow." Ghost replied.
Ghost wandered into the lighthouse shortly before Jinn arrived and warned the collector and his friends of Jinn's attack. Everyone was worried but the collector had a plan. Late that night, when Jinn arrived at the lighthouse, he came but found no one there, he looked around the whole lighthouse and its adjoining cabin but found nothing. He was about to leave when he decided to open a barrel by the front door and found the collector waiting inside for him, he jumped out of the barrel and the two began to fight, each one very gifted in the ways of magic, after awhile jinn had the upper hand in the battle."
The collector looked worried.
"Well…what happens?"
Luz smiled.
"The collector remembered a very important lesson his teacher had thought him, that sometimes the simplistic option is the better one to take. The collector drew a light glyph and temporarily blinded Jinn long enough for each of his friends to summon their magic then one by one jinn was hit again and again until he was too weak to fight.
The collector cursed Jinn to live the rest of his immortal life in a lamp. The Archivists saw this and we're so proud of their little sibling. They asked him to please return with them to the world beyond the universe but the collector said no, the boiling isles in the world of magic were his true home now and he also knew that there would be other evil-doers who would use their magic to try and take over the boiling isles, so he decided to stay there and protect his new home with his new Palisman ghost right by his side,the end."
Luz could see the smile on the collector's face as he began to fall asleep, Luz covered him in a blanket and watched as ghost settled herself
on the collector's belly as the two fell asleep.
"Good night collector," Luz whispered before blowing out the candle and taking back the blue lights so the Demi-god could sleep.
"Good night, big sister Luz." the collector said sleepily.
Luz then gently closed the door and walked out the hall and found the swan from earlier waiting for her. He took one look at her before biting at his feathers for a moment.
Luz rolled her eyes.
"Don't think we're gonna be buddies now because of what Astrid said, I still remember how you just left me in quicksand!"
"Should you be yelling? You might wake the little guy up."
Luz turned around and saw Willow and Gus walking towards her, Willow held her new Palisman staff, the flamingo from before. Gus also had his New staff the Tapir.
"I see you two have gotten acquainted with your new staffs."
Willow looked at her flamingo then back at Luz.
"Only for now, this is just temporary till we kick Jinn's ass," Willow said.
"Ya, it's not like we're choosing these guys over Clover and Emmiline Bailey Marcostimo." Gus said.
"I hope where ever she is, clover is ok. Back when we were at Hexside I kept trying to look around for her, but couldn't find her anywhere." Willow said.
Luz then remembered the sight of Clover and Emmiline Bailey Marcostimo being broken to bits by Jinn! The memory made Luz feel intense sorrow.
Willow and Gus noticed this.
"Luz, what's wrong?" Willow asked.
Luz wanted so badly to tell them what had happened to their Palisman but at the same time she was afraid to, after all they had been through so much in the past few days and they were still so exhausted, she didn't know how much more her friends could take. She would tell them…just not yet.
"Oh nothing, I just miss my mom, that's all."
That wasn't a complete lie, Luz did miss her mom. She wished so much that she could just slip back into the Human world and tell her mom everything that happened. Another thought came to her at that moment. "Just go back home, take Hunter and Vee with you, close off the portal, and just stay home." The voice in her head said.
"No!"
"Im starting to get worried." Gus said.
"Don't. I'm just tired and grumpy."
Willow knew there was something that Luz wasn't telling her.
"Ya know, Luz, if you don't wanna be alone tonight, you can bunk with me,my room has three beds, can you believe that?"
"Willow, there's nothing I'd love more then to have a slumber party with my Bestie but I'm too grumpy so I'd ruin it. I'll see you both in the morning."
Willow and Gus looked at each other. Something was on there shared friend's mood.
Luz then walked down the green hallway, as she was walking she heard the slapping of webbed feet on the floor. Luz turned around and saw the swan from earlier following her down the hall.
"Would you mind giving me some privacy?"
The swan stopped for a moment and then made a whistling sound.
"What do you mean I have to go meet Astrid?"
The swan whistled again.
"Look, I'm having a rough time lately, usually I'd love to meet a mysterious lady in an unknown location but can't this wait till morning?"
"No, it cannot."
Luz turned around and saw Astrid standing a few feet behind her.
Astrid then gestured for Luz to follow her. She reluctantly did.
As they walked Luz noticed bright green shimmering lights in the night sky, they were so beautiful.
"Pretty, aren't they?" Astrid asked.
"They're more than pretty, they're beautiful."
"It's a sign, ya know. He's coming."
Luz looked down at Astrid.
"Who's coming?"
Astrid looked up at Luz with a very serious look.
"Someone who wants very much to meet you, he has for a while now."
Astrid then continues to walk down the hall with Luz and the swan following close behind.
"Do you know what this is all about ?"
The swan looked up at her for a moment then quickened its pace to catch up with Astrid.
"Hey! Get back here."
Luz caught up with the two before the hall ended and led to the entrance of a cave.
"What is this place?" Luz asked as she felt the smooth walls of the cave's entrance.
"It's where he's been waiting for you for eons now."
Luz was about to walk in but noticed Astrid wasn't coming.
"Aren't you coming?"
Astrid shook her head no.
" I cannot come, this journey now is only for the two of you."
Luz looked down at the swan.
This felt weird to Luz. Using another Palisman, she already had one, string-Bean.
Luz tried to walk in but it felt like she hit an invisible wall.
"Ow!"
"That won't work, dear. You have to bring a Palisman with you."
Without looking Luz heard a familiar whistle. She looked down at the Swan.
"This is just temporary, understand?"
The swan nodded before transforming into a Palisman staff. The staff itself has covered in ancient runes as well as glyphs, which she didn't even recognize.
"Hey, Astrid…."
Luz noticed that Astrid was gone and then looked back at the cave entrance. She put her arm through and it went through this time. She then carefully walked into the cave to meet whoever was waiting for her there.
(The collector's room)
The collector heard a loud screeching sound coming from outside his room.
He opened his eyes and looked out the window and to his horror saw String-Bean/Decebalus landing on the shores of the island. He noticed a tall figure in black armor jump off the enormous Palisman, the figure then took off his Helmet and revealed himself to be Jinn.
Jinn looked around the island for a moment then noticed the Collector looking down at him. He smiled wickedly.
The collector closed the blinds, grabbed Ghost and ran out the room door.
"Wake up, it's Jinn, He found us!"
