World of Fading Song

"I don't like how this looks, Izuku."

Yamato uttered in worry, both of them were staring at what once was a kaleidoscope sky, it was now swirling, leaking away like a water stained painting, as if draining away into the dark growing void in the sky.

"Did...did we do it?!"

Izuku said, he could only stare in awe and horror as the sky bled away, Danger sense flaring like a migraine. He had his past share with people who used various illusion quirks back in his world, but Uta was unlike any of them. Through her Devil fruit power she transported their souls into her Uta World; the World of Song.

"I...I'm sorry..everyone...I couldn't..."

A battered and weary Uta spoke sadly. She had intended to keep both of her new found companions in a world of happiness, a world of her own making, her own nowhere land out of a fear of loosing them, and a want to protect them from the horror that pursues them, a horror that sails both ocean and sky, the Apex of all living Beasts, Kaido, Captain of the beast pirates, to ensure they were permanently safe, behind their backs, she ate the wake shroom, to keep them with her for as long as possible and to ensure that they will never wake up, her own death would become the permanent lock that would keep the One and the Stranger safe, or so she thought.

What followed afterwards was a rough confrontation, spanning the Songified Elegia, Superhero and Mythical Zoan battled the omnipotent songstress from ground to sky, flashes of blue ice and green lightning pierced the sky and shook the earth as song notes and melodies were lashed out to bind them like chains.

It ended suddenly with a combined attack by Yamato and Izuku, her Kabou and Izuku's Power combined struck Uta down, enough to cause the dreamland to start simply bleeding away.

Yamato looked down at Uta, directly into her purple eyes, in them she could see a mirror of her old self; entrapment, abandonment, hatred, loneliness.
Izuku recognised it too, all three of them without saying a word knew that look. it was the same look Izuku saw within Shigaraki, the look of a broken lost person, crying for help and lashing in the air in fury, made monstrous in isolation.
The world of song continued to fade and drain away, the tips of the castle on Elegia and the crystalline pillars of the island's stage start to drip upwards to the growing void.

Izuku took a deep breath and began moving towards Uta with a limp, a determined fire beginning to burn within him, he looked back to Yamato as he walked to the weakening Uta, giving her a nod, Yamato responded in kind, he was about to try and enact a miracle to save all of them.

he had failed in saving someone that was lost, it cost him dearly, through Uta, he will not fail again, with Yamato giving him aid, he believes deep down, they have a chance to save Uta.
