Intro: Fiona feels pressured daily over being a mother, wife and an oger, so striking a deal with a witch to change her life for one day. Will Fiona live threw her new life after breaking all ties with her old life? And is her curse really lifted?

Oh and also Dragon can speak in this tale. I know she can't really in the movie, but she will here.

Requested author: retro mania.

Fiona kept looking at Elphaba scared, "You mean, you could take me back in time when I was a human princess and stop Shrek from saving me?"

"Indeed. Shrek will never have gone or even gotten the quest in the first place. You will however be back in your tower and your actual saviour will come instead." Elphaba explained. "You will never have known Shrek and vice versa."

"Mh... Prince Charming is a much better looker than Shrek, he has wealth, a kingdom and much kinder and better manners than Shrek." Fiona agreed. "Ok, let's do it."

Elphaba nodded her head, she pulled a silver contract out and summoned a golden pen up, rolling it out in it stood everything the two had discussed and at the bottom was a line.

She handed Fiona the pen, "Sign at the bottom, and your request will be granted."

Fiona grabbed the pen and signed her name. The pen dissolved in her hand and Elphaba giggled in pure delight, her hand snapping sparks already as her magic was working.

"Ok... so now what?" Fiona inquired.

Elphaba burst out laughing, "Have a nice life."

And in an explosion of green mist, Fiona was catapulted out of the poison apple, the mist spread record fast all over the Storybook Forest. Reaching from Far Far away, all the way to Shreks swamp and Fiona's prison. Thousands of actions were reversed and memories were altered in this spell.

Fiona breathed in Elphabas fumes and she passed out and her world turned dark.

Several hours passed after Fiona struck a deal with Elphaba. Fiona woke up and saw she was back in her bed, in the tower and looking in the mirror was her same human reflection.

"It... it worked?" Fiona beamed.

She blinked but saw on her bedside cabinet the contract again, she smiled, folded it up and cheered. Her life will be different now. Well... but how different?

Fiona ran to her tower window and looked outside, it was still the same hanging bridge between the dragon's fortress and her castle and she even saw Dragon lying at the foot of her tower, currently sleeping.

"Wow. But... what happened to Shrek?" Fiona wonders a bit, "I hope he won't really come to the castle again to save me, that started this whole mess."

Fiona beamed and jumped into bed, this will be great.

Meanwhile with Shrek.

The mist has altered quite a bit. Shrek found himself back home, just as he was placing up another: Get out, private land sign up again. He smiled, burbs and walked back to his home.

"Ah... this is the life." He beamed.

His kettle boiled and Shrek made himself some swamp tea to drink, eating also massive amounts of roasted rats he caught earlier on.

"Mh yummy yummy yummy." Shrek beams.

He leans back in his chair without a care in the world. For now.

Back with Fiona.

It's been about three days after she struck the deal with the witch. Fiona noticed she always fell fast asleep just before sundown, so she never noticed her oger transformation again. She knew it was happening cause her dress was always a different shape every morning.

After day four she suddenly heard a loud scream. Fiona ran to her window and saw Prince Charming there on a white horse. For some strange reason, the Fairy Godmother was with him and she made the red dragon, aka Dragon disappear from sight, clearing the way for Prince Charming to save her.

The Fairy Godmother collapsed and faced her son, "Go to her, save Fiona from this curse."

Prince Charming beams and runs up to the tower.

Fiona beams also and quickly straightens her dress, as Prince Charming bursts through the door, facing his beloved princess.

'Yes, I knew he'd come.' Fiona thought very happy.

Prince Charming raced up to Fiona, scooped her in his arms and the two kissed passionately and heavily. The tower filled with a bright blue light and Fiona's 'curse' was finally lifted by her 'true love'.

After the two had made out for a few minutes, Prince Charming stopped and stared deep into Fiona's eyes.

"My love. I knew you'd be here." He beams.

Fiona chuckles, "Well, you've been long enough. 23 years is nothing to sniff at."

Prince Charming giggles too and they kissed again. After another make out they left the tower together.

At the foot of the tower the Fairy Godmother recovered from her, magicking dragon away, thing and summoned her pink limo coach to drive all three of them back to Far Far Away to visit Fiona's parents again.

Meanwhile with Dragon.

Dragon found herself, collapsed outside a forest. Surrounded by cliffs and various strange swamp-like houses. It looked very odd cause counting wise there were over four hundred built wildlife homes for... something.

Dragon looked up and roared softly. "Hello? Please, someone... anyone help me."

"Someone is here. Who is it?" Came a voice from the cliffs.

Dragon was feeling very weak. She was hungry and thirsty and didn't know what to do.

"gasping, it's a dragon. A real-life dragon."

"Quickly, someone, get our leader here, what should we do?"

Dragon looked up and saw it was a village full of hundreds of different ogers. Coming out to look at her.

The leader came and faced the poor creature, "You fools, get everyone up and out of their homes, run to every river, stream and fountain. Get as much water to her as possible and the other half get as many swamp rats as possible. She's starving."

Dragon blinked and looked at the leader of the ogers, it was none other than Shrek. Only a bit more muscular and looking at her concerned.

He and four other ogers helped the dragon up and she was fed at least two hundred caught swamp rats and given a huge swimming pool amount of water to drink. Making her feel much better.

"Are you ok madam?" Shrek asked the dragon.

The Oger village next all collected a lot of bark and Dragon was given a new home to live in with them at their swamp. She thanked them and smiled. They all were very nice.

As an answer to Shrek's question, Dragon nodded her head and bowed to him, making her swear to help the Oger team and give her a new home to live in.

Back with Fiona.

Fiona felt like a proper princess again, Prince Charming and her were sitting side by side in the limo and he was staring at her and into her eyes with a lot of love.

"You are by far the fairest and most beautiful princess in all the land my love." Prince Charming beams at her.

Fiona chuckles and strokes his perfect jaw, "And you are the bravest and greatest prince ever to live, my Prince Charming."

They continued kissing. The Fairy Godmother on the other hand was bored and started reading some Far Far Away newspapers about whatever King Harold and Queen Lillian were up to for now.

The coach ride was taking them to the church of Far Far Away. Thousands of Fairy tale characters were hoarded together and King Harold and Queen Lillian were rushed there as well.

The coach stopped and the Fairy Godmother got up first, she left the coach, pointing at the two couples. Fiona was transformed and wearing a beautiful white wedding dress with a long flower train and a small princess crown in her hair, Prince Charming was wearing a white suit with a black bow tie and medals on his chest, as well as the prince's crown.

The two lovers took one another hands, the organ played and they entered the church. All of Far Far Away cheered at the lovely couple. Fiona saw several other princesses also invited to the wedding: Snow White, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty and Rapunzel.

There was a long table with more food piled on it than it could sustain and the wedding cake was over 23 feet long and had well over a dozen candy flowers over it.

Before long they reached the priest and kneeled in front of him. Everyone sat down and watched their wedding.

"Dearly beloveds, we are gathered here today, to celebrate the union between Prince Charming and Princess Fiona Pendragon. Their love has withstood many challenges that they mastered together, and they are here now to unify two lands and two great families. Prince Charming, if you may?" The priest asked.

Prince Charming smiled staring at Fiona, "Fiona, my love, my life. You are by far the fairest and most beautiful of all the princesses in all the lands. I will swear by my life to love you forever more and rule with you fairly Far Far Away."

Fiona smiles back at him feeling her heart swell, "Charming, my love my life. You are by far the most handsome and brave Prince in all the land. I will swear by my life to love you forever more and rule with you fairly over Far Far Away."

The priest smiles, "If anyone can find reason or justice why they may not be joined in merry matrimony, they may speak now or forever hold their peace."

It was very quiet, nobody dared to speak up, and Shrek wasn't even aware of the wedding. Fiona and Prince Charming smiled at one another.

"Then by the power invested in me, I pronounce you Prince and Princess of Far Far away. You are married in holy matrimony and may nothing ever separate your love ever again." The priest announced.

Fiona and Charming placed their wedding rings on and kissed one another. Though again Prince Charming kissed Fiona passionately, something inside of Fiona felt like it was shrivelling up and dying. Something was wrong. The kiss was very romantic and lovely yes... but Fiona didn't feel right.

After the wedding, Fiona and Charming left to the couple suit together to consummate their marriage. They changed out of their wedding clothes into nightwear and slipped into bed.

"I love you, my dear," Prince Charming smiled at Fiona.

Fiona smiled a bit back, "I love you too dear. But before we do it... can I ask you something?"

Prince Charming smiles and nods, "What's wrong love?"

"If..." Fiona sighs, thinking, "If we'd ever have a child together... do you have any name ideas for her or him?"

"Of course," Prince Charming smiles: "For a son: William, Henry, Charming junior,-"

"I'd like our first female child to be called: Felicia." Fiona smiles, loving the name. "If it's a daughter."

She doesn't know how, but that name just came to her and it warmed her heart. But Prince Charming snorted and laughed next to her.

"Felicia? That sounds like a commoner's child name, Fiona. We are royalty love so our child deserves a strong name, like mine." Prince Charming laughed. "We will definitely not call our daughter that name."

Fiona stared at her husband shocked, was her opinion worth nothing to him? Was she now just his property?

"If it's a girl she could be called: Cindy, Snow Bells, Ruby, Dawn..." Prince Charming listed a few girls' names up.

That hurt Fiona even more, she knew the names were just similarities: Cindy for Cinderella, Snow Bells for Snow White, Ruby for Rapunzel and Dawn as in Aurora aka Sleeping Beauty.

Fiona pretended to think it over, "Mh, you're right love. Those do sound a lot better. I don't quite know what I was thinking just now. Thanks."

Prince Charming smiles at her and the two kissed. Fiona felt like a small piece of her has just died. This was not a good start at all. She didn't remember anything else as the two consummated their marriage, only that it was very painful and for poor Fiona, it felt like less love and more duty.

After a few rounds, they fell asleep. And Fiona felt for the first time ever, more alone than she has ever been in her tower.

Quanktumspirit: "Yeah yeah. I know it should be more romantic between the two. But sorry, I can't stand Prince Charming at all. Yuck. Please comment anyway."
