Chapter 13

As I mount Twilight Queen, I see that Father and the rest of my family are here to say good-bye to me while I am gone. Mr. Beast is here and asked me to tell his aunt he cannot wait to meet her at last. I think he believes I will free her soon. I hope I could free her soon so that I can come home and maybe she will come with me. The roses are all over the house, two stables, coupe, arch, and even the shed and I did not plant them there. So I know that they are enchanted because they do not grow over the windows or even doorways of the house, shed or coupe. Since they appeared over the shed, I am sure that Mr. Beast's aunt is helping them somehow and I do not know how. I am glad to know that I can help her since she had asked for an unmarried man must mean something but what. I know Father is not happy that I am going but he knows that I must go, since he cannot go since he is just married and has a family to tend to now. I will travel alone to the palace that is to be my new home, before I left Ginny said that she will come and tend to my house and Freddy said he will tend to any repairs that it might need should I return to it one day.

I enter the woods and I here Henry, Harry started to cry, and Rosie joined in. I do not know if I should be glade, that father cannot come with me to the gate of the palace not since he just caught a cold. I do not know if I would let him if he could any way. I have been traveling for a few hours when I found the road that Father and John said I would find. I know now that the palace is not far from here and I do not know how long I can keep a brave face on. I cannot help but think that she might not like me and send me home if that should happen then what am I to do, she is my only hope of finding someone that is like me. As I approach the gate, I see a huge palace and know that even if I free her we are from two different worlds.

I am a poor man and she is a princess that is trapped in her palace waiting to be freed. I enter the gardens and see that Father was not wrong the gardens are like none I have ever seen in the city and I tended to go to the gardens when I went to parties in the city. I am amazed at how magnificent they were every flower, blade of grass, tree, and rock was in place and looked as if it was placed there just to catch the light at the most perfect way. I really wish to meet the gardener here because I wish to ask for tips on how to make my garden back in Blue Lake look like this when I get back that is.

I reach the stable and find two stales ready for my horses so I put them in and tend to them Twilight Queen and Storm Cloud seem to enjoy the grain and oat mix that is in the feeding bag for them. So I know that they will eat like they should eat while I am here at least I just hope they will not be angry with me when we return home for not feeding them this there. After I put them up, I start to look for something to clean their tack with so I can go in. I search for a few minutes and find nothing so I ask the air, "Where can I find the items to clean their tack? For I wish to clean it now so it will not start to rust on me." I look around and see that right by the door of Twilight Queen a bucket with soap and water to clean the tack with. "Thank you, whoever it was that put it there," and I got the sense that the air was listening to what I said.

After I finished cleaning the tack, I started to head in. And found that the door had a story on it of a young Queen's party going on a ride into a wood on one door and on the other the story was the same but different the young Queen's horse was running out of the woods and the party looked shocked and sad. I saw all of this all within a few seconds since the doors opened for me as I got close to them. As I entered, a door opened and I went to it since when I entered a breeze came and started to pull at my clothes and tugged me toward the door as well. When I entered, I saw a huge table full of food with just one chair and place set. I went and set down and ate since I had not eaten since morning and that nearly twelve hours ago. As seeing, it was night now and I left right after eating with my family.

When I finished I noticed that no bed had been made and that the door opened again so I left the dining room to see where I was to go. Since no door opened, I decided to look around and found many rooms that held many interesting items and pieces of furniture that I did not know the name of or had ever seen. I found a room with a gold tag hanging from the door that had the name Isabella on it, I looked in and saw a beautiful room but did not stay, the next room had Alice on it and was in pink while Isabella had blue, then came Emmett and Rose's room it was done in red and gold. Next to Emmett and Rose's room has Jasper on it, it looks like a room for a young boy, right across the hall the door had Grace on it and looks like it was for a little girl. Other rooms I found were Jackson, Eragon and Anna, I know that Mr. Beast's mother and fathers names where Eragon and Anna so that room must have been theirs. I saw two female names that did not have a man with them and that was Isabella and Alice but Alice had Jackson right across the hall from her so I think they might be together but now sure. Not far from the rooms with names on them, I found a room with my name on it. It was three halls over but still in a palace as big as this one it was close to them. I entered and found a room fit for a king.

It had a king size bed with blue green satin sheets and a green comforter, it was a canopy bed like all of the beds I have seen in this palace so that means every one sleeps in one. The carpet is green with hints of blue. The window faced a rose garden that was magnificent and had a fountain in the middle of it. The wardrobe opens and I see many fine velvet outfits that look like they were made for a king. I then enter a room that is connected to mine and find a piano with a fireplace not far from it so that I may have light and heat at night. As I return to my room, I find that a bath had been pulled up and it was receiving its last jug of hot water and it vanished into thin air. Now at supper I had been waited on by the plates themselves, and as I walked down the halls, the candles came to life on their own so I think there might be invisible pages following me as I walk that light the candles. But I think a jug that vanishes into thin air is more disturbing than the food that serves itself or candles lighting on their own.

I do not know what to think of having invisible servants since I have no clue if they are male or female and they are helping me while I bathe. I need to find out soon since I am not sure what to do about them since I do not wish to be rude and send them away. When I finish the servant or little breeze I am not sure what it is, starts to go through the wardrobe to find a suitable outfit for me to wear it finds a blue velvet outfit. "Ha, no way will I wear that, I am not a king even though King is my last name. Is there anything that is not velvet or covered with lace?" I start to look for something and the breeze is having a fit pulling at my robe and blowing around the room. I cannot find anything so I start to look for my old clothes. I cannot find them and the breeze comes with a blue shirt with black pants. It is still not what I am use to but I can deal with it.

"See, I told you that he would like that outfit," I said. "Thank you, Lady Alice. He did not like the velvet one we had for him. So now he is ready to meet Our Lady," said Ben he is a dear servant and has a young wife that had just started working for us when she married him two weeks before the test that turned my sister into a beast. "Yes, I just hope she likes him in this outfit," said Angelical his wife, but she prefers to be called Angel. "I might as well find this female beast that I am living with for who knows how long," said Josh. I meet Jackson outside the room, "I had to help the servants pick an outfit for him to wear. He does not have a taste for the fancy outfits like the one they had picked for him," I tell my fiancée. "I should have known he would not like the fancy he is from a merchant family and he is a blacksmith and carpenter as well. He might save her but he will not stay here he will want to go back to where he is from you know. It will be up to her if she goes or not then what will happen to the palace," he said, my fiancée is smart but not very optimistic about anything. "He will stay here with her since he must love her to free her," I tell him and I know that for a few months she will want to leave the castle just for a change of scenery. "Hey there he goes let's help him find her," I tell him. We did our best to help him find her then we stay out of the room but listen to what is said.
