Chapter 19
"Well it looks like the piano lesson will have to be postponed till later she is not feeling good today so that means she will not be able to come. Therefore, if you wish to ride Twilight Queen for a bit then you can there is still some time left. I will see you in side later tonight," she turned to leave when I stopped her. "I think Twilight Queen should get use to you. She trusts anyone I trust she might not trust you right away but over time she get use to you and learn to trust you as I have," I tell her. "No she loves and trusts you do not ask her to try to get use to me for she will not and she might try to leave then what will you do," she says and asks at the same time. "She will not leave without me and I am not leaving you here as a beast. So she will not try to leave and she will learn to trust you as I have. So let me go and get her and why don't you go sit on the bench across from the stable doors," I tell her. "Fine but only because you will have to find out for yourself," she says.
I go and get Twilight Queen and saddle her since I know that on the ground I might not be able to get her to move. From the saddle, I could control her if she runs from B. As I lead her out of the stable, I can see the difference right away she turns into steal not the normal warm flesh she normally is. Twilight Queen turns and looks at B. and will not look away from her. I get her to walk forward towards B. and we get halfway to her when I cannot get her to go any farther and tell B. "She will not go any farther for the day just sit still and let her get use to you."
"I did not think you would get this far in all honesty," she said and as soon as she spoke Twilight Queen's nerve broke and she bolted. I nearly fell out of the saddle but I managed to stay on. "Hey calm down girl calm down. Do not worry I have ever let you near someone that wished to harm you. Now calm down Twilight Queen calm down," I yell at my crazy horse. After two minutes, we had reached the stable and she stopped and turned to look at B. once more. She had stood up when Twilight Queen bolted and now seeing I was back in control she sat back down. "All right let's try again now and see if we can get any farther than last time then I will tend to her and let her rest," I tell B. I can see her nod but not say a thing. As we start back towards B. Twilight Queen walk slowly and with her head down as we reached the halfway point, she stopped then started right back walking towards B. As we reached B., she dropped her head and touched her nose to B.'s leg.
"Wow I never thought a horse would never thought a horse would ever like me in this form," she said, and Twilight Queen turned her ears to her to listen to her. "She knows that I would not ask her to do something that would put her in danger. Yes, I know you could hurt her if you wanted to right, but I know you will not hurt her so I ask her to meet you now in a few weeks she will know you will not hurt her so she will not run from you if she sees you," I tell her. "I hope you are right go and tend to her, she needs you to let her know she is safe I will be inside," she says but does not move. "All right why don't you meet me in the grand dining room and have supper with me. So will you meet me there?" I ask. "Yes I will meet you there but I will not eat as you know I will not eat when I eat with you," she said. She has had supper with me a few times since I arrived here at the palace and has not had anything to eat with me. "Yes I know I will be in after I tend to Twilight Queen," and with that I turn to go to the stables to tend to my horse. I notice that she got up and walked to the main door to wait for me inside. I tend to Twilight Queen and brush her repeatedly.
After I tend to her until she feels great then do I go in to eat and I see B. sitting in a chair right next to the main door. "You did not have to wait here for me you could have been in there waiting and laughing at how the dishes tell me what to eat every night," I tell her. "I thought I would wait and see you in and then go in there they would be scared that you might not come since I am in there without you," she tells me. "Well I do not wish to scare them for no reason," I tell her.
