"We're almost there." Luke says as he could see Summer's tower off in the distance, all while the blue-haired girl was following close behind; after about another few seconds of walking, the two arrive at an open spot right next to it. "Here we are." The former says as he held his surfboard by his side, looking out towards the ocean in front of them; however, the girl remained unimpressed.

"Really now...this is the spot we're going to surf at?" The blue-haired girl asked, which was when her eye caught the sight of her beach-chair and backpack, both of which she had placed in a random spot in order to go change and meet up with Luke. "How coincidental..." She uttered, before expressing a smile and turning towards the surfer again. "You know; this spot seems pretty neat and all, but I know a much better spot for you and I to surf at. Now, tell me; have you ever been to the edge of the beach yet?"

"The edge of the beach?" Luke asked as he gave the girl a look of uncertainty. "Tad told me that the edge was off limits when it comes to surfing; the rocks and the rapid tide makes it way too dangerous for us to go into the water, and there's no lifeguard stationed over there."

"Maybe, but...perhaps, we don't need to go into the water for you to give me lessons." The girl stated as she a step closer to the surfer, giving him a cute smile as she approached him. "You and I could just stay on the land next to it, so neither of us ends up in any sort of danger."

"I...don't think that's how it works, Pinky."

"Please...you don't need to be on top of a mountain in order to teach another how to ski, and I should know; I've taken lessons in skiing before when me and my bestie went to Toronto." The blue-haired girl, Pinky, explained to the surfer. "It should fine, as long as we don't go anywhere near the water over there."

"I...still don't know about this, dude..." It was around this part of the conversation that Summer came out of her tower, which also meant she was forced to watch and overhear everything that was being said throughout the rest of the conversation.

"It's totally safe, as long as we're not going into the water over there; and once we're done over there, we can come here and we can test my skills out on the waves." Pinky steps towards the surfer once again, gently placing a hand on his cheek as she stared directly into his eyes. "Come on, Lukey-Pukey; this is what I want to do for my lessons, and you wouldn't want to disappoint one of your own patrons now...would you?"

It was clear to Luke that Pinky was trying to flirt with him, but instead of confronting her about this immediately, he decided to play it cool and answered the latter's question. "Of course not; but even then, I don't think we're allowed in that part of the beach anyway."

Pinky could only chuckle at what she was hearing. "Then you definitely haven't been here at night." She commented as she backed away from the surfer. "Whenever the sun's down and the beach is closed, that spot becomes anyone's make-out point if they choose to sneak in."

"Well, it's the complete opposite of nighttime right now."

"Oh, I know; but I wanted to us to be alone so that I can get to know you better, other than be taught how to surf." Pinky then giggles again, keeping her eyes focused on the surfer. "You are kinda hot, after all."

"Well, uh...thanks; although, you're not a very subtle person."

"I know, but-"

It was around this part of the conversation that Summer finally decided to come along and intervene. "Alright; break it up, you two..." She calmly demanded as she separated the two with her own guard-canister. "Last time I remember, this is supposed to be 'surfing lessons', not 'The Dating Game'; and by the way, I'm specifically talking to you about this." She said as she turned to glare at Pinky, who just glared back at the lifeguard.

"Since when was that ever a rule?" Pinky spat bitterly.

"It's not just a rule, it's common sense." The lifeguard told the girl in blue. "You sighed up to let Luke teach you how to surf, give you a few pointers, and nothing more; that doesn't mean you're allowed to start flirting with him during any part of the session, including now."

"What are you; scared that I'm just gonna take him off your hands?"

"Excuse me?!"

"Uh...girls, let's not turn this into an argument-" Luke tried to intervene, only for his new lifeguard friend to hold up a hand in front his face.

"Luke, I've got this covered." Summer assured her new friend, before facing forward to glare at Pinky again. "What the hell are you talking about, ma'am?"

"Don't act so clueless here, lifeguard; because Luke here told me that this spot, next to your tower, would be a good enough spot for him and I to surf at; and he said this on the way here." Pinky told the lifeguard, who just turned to look at her surfer friend, who was just as shocked to hear this being said.

"T-That's because Summer's a totally trustworthy girl." Luke stated. "It wasn't because I'm, like, into her; in fact, I'm not even into her in that sort of way. She's cool and all, but we've just met two days ago."

"You expect me to believe that?"

"Also, she has a boyfriend."

"Well-" Summer wanted to correct what the surfer had said, since she wanted to bring up that she was planning to end her relationship with Chaz; but seeing how badly this argument is escalating, she changed her mind. "I-It's true; I'm actually in a relationship, but it's not with Luke here."

"Then why are you preventing me from asking him out?" Pinky asked, only to receive no answer from the lifeguard, which only made the former silently shake her head. "Okay...I'm just going to assume that you're either lying to me, or your boyfriend's a complete total loser, or you're just not happy in the relationship that you're in and you're secretly deep down interested in Luke; and honestly, I would not be surprised if it was any of those."

At this point, the awkward expression on Summer's face soon changed into an irritated scowl. "This coming from the girl who always seems to fail at trying to find a date around here." She remarked in a snide manner.

"Whatever..." Pinky retorts bitterly, before picking up her board off the ground. "Right now, I want to be taught how to surf, and you're just sitting there wasting my time." She then proceeded to walk towards the ocean. "Let's go, Luke; I don't have all day for this!"

"I'll be right there!" Luke shouts back, before turning to face Summer. "I...think it's for best that we just start doing our jobs now." He says awkwardly, rubbing the back of his neck.

"Yeah; I think we should..." Summer muttered as she began to head back to her tower. "Stupid blue-dressed bitch..."

After having to overhear his new friend's insult towards the girl in blue, Luke let out a sigh before picking up his surfboard and headed over to the ocean in order to meet back up with Pinky. "Well, that was certainly something..." He says softly, stepping into the water and placing his board down, letting it float next to him.

"Sorry about that, Lukey-Pukey..." Pinky says, clearly feigning the solemn tone she's using with him, all while she followed the surfer into the water. "I didn't intend for such an argument like that to happen..."

"I-It's fine..." Luke replied as he watched the blue-haired girl place her board down into the water next to his. "Let's just forget that ever happened and let's just get onto our lesson; alright?"

"Alright." Pinky agreed while slightly nodding her head. "Oh, by the way...if you're still interested in wanting to go out, fell free to let me know."

"Dude..."

"Hey, I'm just throwing it out there, that's all." Pinky stated as she gave the surfer an innocent smile and a wink. "Anyways, what shall we be learning about first?"

"Balancing on your board."

"Seems easy enough."

While the two were continuing on with their lesson, Summer just stood there, watching them through her binoculars; she wanted to make sure that Pinky wasn't going to get any bright ideas and bust on move on Luke. There were a few occasions where she'd take her eyes off the session to make that there weren't any patrons drowning in the ocean from time to time, but for the most part, she's been solely focused on the two's lesson throughout the next ten to twenty minutes; and she just watched them with a scowl on her face. 'This is going to be a long ass day...' She thought to herself as she continued to glare at the two.

Meanwhile...

"So, what do you think, Chaz?" Tim asked as he stood next to his best friend, all while both of them were staring at the blue-haired girl's car. "Would you say that this looks exactly how it does in the photo?"

"Well, everything seems to be in order..." Chaz answered as he was looking over the photo again, just to make sure that there wasn't anything that they've missed. "The back-bumper's been fixed, check; the scratches on the side have been removed and waxed over, check; and the side-mirror's back in it's slot, which was arguably the easiest out of all of them...also, check." Chaz nodded his head as he placed the photo into his pocket. "Yeah; it looks like we've got everything here done."

"Awesome." Tim says as he clapped his hands together, only to become a bit confused about something soon after. "So...now what?"

"What do you mean 'now what'?" The biker asked rhetorically, placing his hands on his hips. "It means that we now have to go and deliver this car back to that girl with the blue hair; whoever her name is. Thankfully, she told us that she was going to be at the Boardwalk today; because I might stop by and say 'hello' to Summer while I'm there. Also, I guess we could-"

Before Chaz could finish the rest of his sentence, both he and Tim could hear the sound of the former's phone going off in his pocket. "Who's calling you, man?" The latter asked.

"Ah, it's just Aunt Paula." The biker answered, staring down at his phone. "Why don't you make sure that everything's in order while I take this; okay?"

"Alright."

After that was agreed on, Tim began going over everything that they did to fix the car, while his best friend just silently went off into another room. Everything seems to be in complete working order, but when he got to the left side of the vehicle, Tim took notice of something that was on the ground next to it; a jacket, which presumably fell out when that girl was collecting some of her beach items moments prior. He didn't really think anything of it at first, since it was just a jacket and nothing more than that; but upon further inspection, Tim noticed that there was something printed on the back: Simport Prep.

Before Tim had another second to think, Chaz came back into the room. "Well, this sucks..." The latter of the two muttered as he placed his phone back into his pocket.

"What happened?" Tim asked as the biker walks up to him.

"Paula told me that today's supposed to be Renee's dentist appointment." Chaz told his best friend.

"Today?" The blue-haired man asked with an eyebrow raised. "But I thought that wasn't until next week."

"That's what I thought too, but apparently, her appointment's actually today; and now Aunt Paula's all pissed off with me for forgetting about it." Chaz explained, before looking over to the preppy girl's car. "Do you think you can handle delivering that on your own?"

"It wouldn't be the first time I had to do something like this, so...I think I've got this handled."

"Awesome." Chaz took the blue car-keys out of his pocket and hands them over to his best friend. "I'll come right back after I drop Renee off at the dental-office; and then, if there's enough time in order to do so, I'll stop by the Boardwalk to pick you up; and then both of us will come back here together."

"Sounds like a plan to me, dude." Tim said as the two bumped fists on it. "I'll see you whenever you show up." After that was said, the biker exited the building and headed to the alley-way on the left, which was where his car was currently parked.

Now that he was alone, Tim unzips his mechanic's jumpsuit and removed it off of himself, leaving him in his regular shirt and overalls once again; afterwards, he got into the car and started it up. Right before he could take off for the Boardwalk, Tim could help but take a look at his surroundings for a few second, seeing that the interior of the car has way more stuff that was blue; whether it would be the covering on the seats, the carpeting on the floor below him, or the tiny stuff-animal dog that she has sitting on the right side of the dashboard. It was almost astounding how much blue that the mechanic was actually seeing right now.

'Man...this girl must REALLY love the color blue.' Tim thought, before eventually deciding to drive out of the auto-shop and off to the Boardwalk.

"So, you forgot about your little cousin's dentist appointment once again?" Summer asked on the phone with her boyfriend, all while the latter was driving down one of the streets nearby the auto-shop. "No offense, babe; but you really need to pay more attention to that girl's schedule."

"I am paying attention to it." Chaz muttered as he rolled his eyes. "In case you haven't noticed, my schedule has been a little bit tight lately, so it's kinda difficult to balance almost everything in my life, all at the same time."

"Trust me, I know; and honestly, mine's been a bit hectic too." Summer replied as he boyfriend turns left down a corner that he was just approaching. "I'm just throwing it out there in case you and I ever consider the idea of becoming parents later on in the future."

"Becoming parents?" Chaz asked in a confused tone, raising an eyebrow after hearing his girlfriend say all of this. "Babe, we're not even married yet."

"I know, but I'm just saying this in case we ever actually do."

"Well, one thing at a time right now, babe; because Tim and I have only been in our new house for almost two whole weeks now...unless you want to get married and live under the same roof as Tim at the same exact time."

"Let's not get too ahead of ourselves now." Summer then says through a light chuckle. "Besides, I'm just messing with you; I know that we're not gonna be married any time soon."

"Yeah, well..." Chaz paused as soon as he saw which street he was currently on, which just so happens to be the exact same one where his cousin would usually be at around this time: the elementary school; although, she wasn't hanging around there as a student, but because that's where her mother worked. "I think I'm just gonna let you go back to your job now, babe; but I'll give you a call later to see if you want to do anything later on tonight."

"It really depends on whether or not my day's good..." Summer mutters. "Anyway...I'll let you know when I get off of work. Bye." After that was said, the phone-call came to an end, which was also when the biker finally was finally pulling up in front of the schoolhouse.

Once he was parked, Chaz sends a text message to his aunt, informing her that he was now here; then he proceeded to sit back and wait until his cousin came out to meet up with him. Eventually, a little girl came out of the school; she has orange hair that was long and curly, freckles all over her face, braces, and was wearing a dark pink button-down shirt with a light pink skirt that has a tulip printed on one side of it; not only that, but she also appeared to be holding a stuffed-animal in her hands, one that resembled that of a pig. After exiting the building, the little girl ran over to the biker's car, getting inside and buckling herself in once she got seated in the chair next to the latter.

"Someone's late." The little girl told the biker in an annoyed tone of voice. "Me and Percy were wondering all day about where you were."

"Well, I think it should've been obvious where I was, Renee; I was at my job." Chaz reminded his cousin, while giving her an annoyed glare. "It's not like I can remember every single plan I've got scheduled. Do you have any idea how much shit I've got written on my calendar?"

"I could start making guesses, but I'm afraid if I do, you're just gonna start going on, and on, and on about every task that you and Tim weren't able to complete last month before you moved into that new house of yours." Renee mutters as she rolled her eyes. "It would probably take up the entire car ride, as a matter of fact..."

"Ha..." Chaz uttered sarcastically as he started up his car. "Just wait until you're an adult, brat; because let me tell you: it's not all that fun."

"Well, maybe you wouldn't be in such an unorganized mess if you had just listened to the advice that mommy gave you days ago, and-"

"Yeah, yeah...no need to remind me about it." Chaz interrupts his cousin in the middle of her sentence. "'Chaz, you should probably consider the idea of cutting a few things out of your life if you want to be more organized with your schedule, such as doing those silly little stunts you do down by the pier', she tells me...completely ignoring the fact that's those 'silly little stunts' are the only other way that Tim and I actually get money outside of your dad's auto-shop. 'You know one of those stunts are bound to kill you one of these days, Charles', she also says; despite the fact that I've been doing this for awhile now and not once have I been injured or...I don't know, dead yet. Should I even continue with the repeating the bullshit that your mom tells me on a daily basis?"

"Nope; it'll just take up the rest of the car ride if you do..." The younger of the two says as her answer.

"Thank you." Chaz paused so that he can face forward, looking at the road ahead of them. "Speaking of Aunt Paula...why isn't she the one dropping you off at the dentist?"

"Because mommy has to deal with teaching a bunch of chumps who failed our history class last year for summer school, that's why." Renee answered as she rolled her eyes.

"Renee, you know it's not nice of you to call other people 'chumps'; we've talked about this."

"Says you, Chaz."

"Yeah, I know I've called other people that before, but there's a difference here, Renee; you're eight and I'm an adult."

"That's the same excuse you've told me when you said I wasn't allowed to watch you and Tim watch that one movie with all the fast cars and stuff."

"Well, both situations here apply either way, because you know your mom would lose her shit with me if she were to hear you call someone 'chump', or watch a movie she doesn't approve of you watching, or listen to Metallica, or-"

"Be in the same car as you as we're about to hit a stop sign." Renee abruptly stated, catching the biker off-guard.

"W-What?" Chaz asked confused and dumbfounded, only to face forward and see the stop sign that his cousin was talking about, causing him to turn his car back onto the road. "T-That was close..."

"Funny how that was the same stop sign you crashed into the last time this happened." Renee stated as she stared outside her window. "I recognized the duct-tape that those workers used to stand it back up easily."

"Don't remind me..." Chaz grumbled as he shook his head, now clearly irritated.

Note: First and foremost, I just want to say 'Happy Easter' to all of my fellow readers and I hope all of your day's are going great; and if you're reading this past Easter, then I hope you all had a wonderful one anyway. Now, about the chapter...I don't have really much to say here, but this one introduces Chaz's little cousin; Renee, whom you all might know as the crazy girl who owns the nature persevere in 'Kingdom'. Also, Tim's on his way to return Pinky's car to her...and let's just say that he's in for quite the surprise when he gets to the Boardwalk.

Let's see what reviews we got for today are...

TheBigBunnyBoy: It should pretty much be obvious that Pinky is not going to wind up with Luke. I just don't see them working out as an actual couple.

lordgemini: I wasn't trying to make it seem like Luke was trying to flirt with her; and if it came across as such, it was mostly unintentional when I was writing everything in the first segment down. Luke still only sees Summer as a friend at the moment, especially considering that he knows about her relationship with Chaz; and also, I don't really see him as the type of guy who would willingly try and get to date him knowing that she's dating someone else...that's something that seems like more of a 'Derek' thing than a 'Luke' thing.

Also, I felt like the interactions between Crystal and James has been more...hostile than the relationship status that I was aiming for with them: as previously stated, 'neutral, but not exactly friends' (which pretty much explains why Crystal decided to stop her ex-boyfriend from beating up the emo rather than let the latter have it). So, as unusual as it might be for some, I decided to let Crystal and James have a scene where they're more friendlier towards each other this time.

Anyway, that should be it for now. In the next chapter, things are about to get extremely surprising for both Chaz and Summer; but what will happen is gonna be a mystery. Until then, I will see you all next time.
