Chapter 29
The next morning when I got up I found that I could not eat so I just got dressed and went to the main room and sat there until B. came and sat with me. She sat down right next to me and leaned on me and asked, "How did you sleep?" I could tell she did not sleep well last night. "Not well I could not stop thinking of today," I tell her. "Same here, I still think it might not be a good ideal for them to meet me," she said. "They need to meet you B. and do not try to hide since I can find you if you do hide," I told her and she laughed. "Are you sure you won't get lost first?" she asked me. "It might take me a while but I will find you," I answered her. She just curled up to me and got comfortable. I move a bit so that she could get even more comfortable and we stayed like that for a few hours then the door opened and a breeze came in and B. sat up and moved away. "Your family just arrived it seems that they left very early to get here as soon as they can I will see you after the little ones have gone to bed. Until then I will be in my tearoom painting," she said as she got up to head to her tearoom. I got up and walked with her to the stairs and gave her a hug before she went on up to her tearoom. I went to the door to great my family. I see that they are in the garden looking at all of the flowers and not sure what to do.
"I see you came to the palace," I said as I walked up to them. "Josh is that you?" asked Ginny. "Yes it is me I have not changed that much now have I?" I ask it is only then that I realize that I have been her for all most six months now. "Yes you have if you had looked like this when in Blue Lake all of the girls young and old would have tried to get you in their bed even the ones that were married as well," Ginny told me. Wow, I know I had changed but not that much. "I think that might be a bit over the top but it has been all most six months so I might have changed a lot and not realized it. Come on in and let's eat it is all most noon and we can talk as we eat," I said as I led them in as Father, John, Billy, and Gorge tended to the horses. We did not eat until they joined us in the dining room. "This is the room that we slept in that night we stayed here," Father said.
"B. had the servants' make up some rooms for you and the rest of the family this time. I will help you find them in a bit so that you can freshen up after the trip here," I told him. "B.? Who is B.?" asked Amy. "B. is the Lady Beast I cannot bring myself to call her a beast so I call her B.," I tell them. "Where is she by the way I wish to ask her something," Father asks. "She is in her tearoom right now and will stay there while the little ones are up since she does not wish to scare them. If you wish to great her before then I will take you to see her but I will check in with her so that she can be ready to see you. See she has taken up painting recently and is good at it so her tearoom is a mess. She will want to meet you in a different room and get cleaned up as well," I tell him.
"Wow all right when we get done eating go and warn her that I wish to see her and that I will meet her after I am cleaned up and she can pick the room and you can lead me there right?" Father said. "Yes, if she picks one of the rooms that I can find. I might have been here for all most six months but I still have a hard time finding my way around," I tell them. At this all most all of my family laughs and my sisters say "That is so you. You have the worst sense of direction and now you live here in a palace and you get lost here in your new home," Amy, Maria, Alanna, Ginny, Taylor, Marie, and Molly have no problem making me fill bad about losing my way a lot.
"Now girls do not make him feel bad over that it is not his fault you know. He gets it form his Father for you know he is just like that he is even worse than Josh at times," Mother said. At this, my Father sank in his set trying to hide from the round of laughter that followed. I had this vision of B. watching in the room that I met her in using the watery contents of that jar to watch us and I can tell she is laughing as well. "So Josh how have you been? Has she been kind to you? Are you sleeping well for you look a little tiered right now? Do you all ways wear clothes so fine here? What do you do here in the day?" Mother asks. "I am fine. Yes, she is kind to me and is a bit scared to meet all of you for she is afraid that you will not like her. I normally sleep well but could not get to sleep last night. These are not as fine as some of the ones that were offered to me to wear the first night I was here. I tend to Twilight Queen and Storm Cloud, play the piano, or walk in the gardens with B." I tell her at this I see a look pass between my sisters.
