Chapter 32
"Well here we are let's go in," I said as I lead them into the room and I found the room just like it was when I first meet her. "B. it might be a bit less scary if it was not so dark in here," I told her. "I know but I thought that it might be best for the light to come gradually so that they can start of barely seeing me then so that they know I won't hurt them," she said. "We know you would not hurt us or Josh would not have lead us here," my sisters told her. "Yes, that and the fact that Father and John have warned us that you are a bit scary looking and even Mother warned us but told us that you are good and not to worry about what you look like," Maria said. "Fine then the servants will light all of the lights here in the room then," B. said and as she said this, the lights were light and the room became bright. "Well you are not what I had in mind I though a bear not a cat," Maria said. "I thought of a wild boar but you are right she is more like a cat," Amy said. "She is close to how I had her in my mind. I thought a really big cat with long sharp claws," said Alanna. So they are not terrified of her that is a good thing and I can see she wants to laugh.
"Josh said that I was cat like in looks as well it must run in the family then," B. said with a hint of laughter. "Really then you are right it must run in the family for the four of us to see you as a cat like person," Amy said "Josh you were right I think I will get along with your sisters. They are more like me and my sister and sister-in-law here in the palace that I could not even try not to like them if they did not like me," B. said. "Yes, and you were right about us liking her. So has he done anything that we can tease him about here in the palace?" Amy asks. "Well he gets lost so often that he pretty much spends all his time in his room or outside with the horses since he knows the gardens very well," she tells them. "We figured he would since he has no sense of direction," Maria informed her. "Just like our Father he would get lost so fast that he would just stay in his room and never leave it without someone to help him," Alanna added. We sat and talked for a few hours and I lead them back to their rooms then went to talk to B. for a bit.
"I do like your family and they do not mind that I am a beast," B. said while she curled up to me on the couch, something we could not do with my family in the room. "Yes, and they like you as well Amy told me I better find the way to free you soon so that the two of you can talk more and you can come visit her at her house. They also liked your paintings that are in the hall I showed them to them and they want one each. Ginny wants you to be freed soon so that you can be at her wedding. Alanna wants you to come and stay with her for a bit. And Maria wants to hear more things that I have done here that she can tease me about. Mother and Father both agree that you are great. John, Freddie, Gorge, and Billy like you as well," I tell her. "They are all nice and I do wish I could see them more and I watched you with the little ones you miss them a lot do you not?" she asked. "Yes, I just cannot believe how big they are now in six months they have grown a lot and I missed it. They did not remember me and that is what hurt the most," I tell her.
"Sorry that you missed all that if I had not taken you from your family you would not have missed anything," she said. "True but I would not have met you, know would I?" I tell her. "No I do not think you would have met me," she said. "I do not care that I missed the last six months of their growth since I met you," I tell her. She is so warm in my arms and I can tell she is tired. "I think you need to go to bed you are half asleep," I tell her. "Right, Josh will you marry me?" she asks and this time I know that I do wish to marry her. "Yes, B. I will marry you," I say and then a bright flash and the palace shacked and I held on to B. as hard as I could without hurting her and then it stopped. I could hear my family in their rooms yelling what happened. I look at B. and find not the B. that I knew but a young lady with long brown hair and big brown eyes looking up at me.
