Okay we're getting into Ireland a bit, I hope you like this chapter, also I've got about six chapters after this one before the end of this story- but don't worry, Happy and Tilly's story will continue! I'm not anywhere near done with these two.
Tilly sat in Maureen's living room with everyone while they talked to Fiona, trying to get any information they could on the Jimmy situation, she poured a mug of tea for Fiona and walked over, setting it in front of her while she spoke to Jax and the others, Chibs' hand right on her shoulder while she spoke to them. "I have no idea why Jimmy lied. I'm not privy to his plans." she said and then smiled at Tilly gratefully as she wrapped her hands around the mug. "Thank you love," she whispered before looking at Chibs. "He doesn't trust me anymore." she explained.
"Do you at least know what he's been up to since he got back?" Chibs asked gently and Fiona sighed as Tilly moved away from them, over to Happy who wrapped his arm around her middle.
"Recruiting. He's at his bar in Newry day and night." she told Chibs, and everyone who was listening.
"What about O'Neill? He on Jimmy's permanent payroll?" Jax asked and Tilly frowned slightly at the question before looking at Happy who nodded.
"Not that I know of." Fiona said quietly. "But like I said, last few months, been in the dark." she looked at Gemma and sighed. "Sorry I have nothing that helps."
"That's okay." Gemma replied after a moment and looked away from Fiona. "Thank you." it seemed she was really taking Maureen's comment about being more respectful to heart- though Tilly did know that Gemma had always been a little scared of Fiona. A moment later the door opened and one of the men from the Mercades walked in and looked around before his eyes landed on Fiona, then let Kerrianne into the room. She was sipping a drink Tilly assumed she must have gotten from the shop downstairs and looked unafraid being surrounded by so many bikers. It actually kind of reminded her of herself at that age.
"You should start wrapping it up, Fi. Need to get back." the man from the car told her and she sighed as she looked over at Chibs who moved his hand from her shoulder.
"Kellan wants us to stay at the rectory. It's like a bloody fortress." she said as she stood up and walked over to Kerrianne.
"Jimmy really gonna try to hurt us, Ma?" Kerrianne asked, she was so matter of fact with the question, no fear in her voice, she was just curious.
"Hey," Chibs stood up and walked over to both of the girls. "No one's ever gonna hurt my baby. I'll make sure of that." he promised them both before giving Kerrianne a kiss on the forehead and then Fiona a kiss on the cheek.
"Can't they stay for a while? They just got here." Gemma said before Clay spoke up.
"Church is nearby, right? We can get them back safe." Clay assured the driver.
"You lads armed?" he asked and Tilly watched around the room as everyone pulled a previously concealed firearm out from wherever they had concealed it. His face didn't betray whatever he was feeling but he turned back to Chibs and gave him a nod. "Tonight, then."
"Hey, thanks." Chibs called to the man as he left and Tilly looked at Happy who looked up at Tilly and then stood up, plucking the freshly lit cigarette from between her lips.
"You bring yours?" he asked and she shook her head.
"I flew in legally," she reminded him and he sighed before he looked at the gun in his hand and then pressed it into her hand. "What about you?" she asked.
"Don't worry about it Tilly," Opie said as he looked over at the two. "We've got him covered."
"Great," she said as she slipped the gun into the back of her waistband and then snagged the cigarette from between Happy's lips and took another drag before placing it back between his lips.
Watching the way everyone filed out of the house, Tilly waited until she looked at Maureen who gave her a small smile and a nod. "Thank you for letting us talk here," Tilly said softly to Maureen who touched Tilly's arm. "Also- I'm gonna stay down in the flop with my husband," she said softly and Maureen nodded.
"Aye, of course," she said gently. "I'd wash them sheets though- don't trust that they've been washed regularly," she said softly and Tilly glanced over at Happy who hadn't heard that, luckily, as he was going over to Tilly's suitcase. He looked at the tag on it and then picked it up before he walked to the door, nodded to Maureen who nodded to him, and then he looked at Tilly.
"Downstairs," he said simply and she nodded as she watched him leave.
"Don't talk much that one, does he?" Maureen asked and Tilly smiled.
"No, he really doesn't," she confirmed with a smile. "But I love him," she shrugged and then looked back at Maureen. "I'll wash the sheets though- thank you for telling me. If he heard that he'd lose it." she muttered conspiratorially.
"Keen on cleanliness?" she asked and Tilly nodded.
"Surprising in a biker isn't it?" she asked and Maureen chuckled softly.
"Come on, I've got to run down to the shop, I'll walk down with you," she said and the two walked out of the flat together and down the stairs. Happy was waiting at the bottom of the stairs and he looked over at Tilly and Maureen walking down together before he held his hand out to Tilly.
"I'll see you later Maureen," she said and Maureen nodded as she turned and headed into her own shop.
"What were you two talking about?" he asked and Tilly shrugged as Happy wrapped his arm around her shoulders.
"Maureen just said it's been a minute since anyone stayed at the flop- said it'd probably be a good idea to wash our sheets," she explained and he made a face before glancing at Tilly who rolled her eyes. "Yes, I'll do it," she assured him and he leaned over to kiss her jaw.
He grinned at her and she pushed his arm slightly before they got to the flop. When there, Tilly got a chance to take a good look at the bed they were supposed to be sharing, it was a single and she glanced at Happy who stared at it for a moment before he shrugged. "You take the bed, I'll sleep on the floor," he offered and Tilly shook her head.
"That's ridiculous Hap," she said as she looked at him before there was a gentle tap on the door. They both looked at the door and she smiled lightly seeing Jax.
"Hey, I uh, was just looking at my room and realized it's a double," he said and Tilly glanced at Happy who straightened up.
"And you figured we needed a double?" she asked and he nodded.
"Well I don't know where else you'd sleep- maybe the living room in front of all the guys?" he said sarcastically and Happy scoffed.
"I mean, we all know I'd be safe- but no thank you," Tilly said before she walked over to her brother. "You sure you want to trade?"
"Yeah," he nodded. "You two should stay together, you're married," he said as he gave Tilly's shoulder a gentle squeeze.
"Well," she said softly. "Thank you," she hugged him and he hugged her back before he looked at her with a slight grin.
"I also figured I'd trade now before you two had a chance to break in this room," he added and Tilly grinned as Happy let out a soft laugh.
"Where have you been?" Happy asked and Jax sighed before shaking his head.
"You two need some sort of medication or something," Jax said to them and Tilly laughed again before she moved to start packing Happy's stuff into his bag again.
"For the record," she said as she looked at Jax. "The bed is safe, we haven't touched it."
"I don't know if that makes it better or worse," he admitted as he glanced around the room but hung up his gun holster on the bed frame anyway.
Happy and Tilly moved to the other room and Tilly made quick work of stripping the bed and finding the laundry room. All they had was some sort of powdered detergent that was condensed in a brick and she stared at the box for a moment before she went back to find Happy who was unpacking their stuff.
"Babe," she said and he looked over his shoulder at her. "I'm gonna run over to Maureen's," she said as she picked up her wallet. "The laundry detergent downstairs is… Disgusting." she shrugged and he made a face before he nodded.
"You got your gun?"
"Yeah," she said and he nodded before he reached out and slapped her ass as she headed for the door. She gave a slight squeak and he grinned before watching her leave the room.
When Tilly opened the door to walk outside she saw her dad standing there, looking like he was about to walk in and he paused seeing her there too. "Hey," she said before she stood back, holding the door open.
"You going somewhere?" he asked and she nodded.
"Yeah, I have to pick up some laundry detergent," she said and he nodded before he looked over his shoulder and then back at Tilly.
"Take a walk with your old dad?" he asked and she nodded before stepping out of the building with him. As they started to slowly walk, Tilly slipped her hands into her pockets and looked up at him as he seemed to think about what he wanted to say. "So, you met Bridgette," he said softly and she nodded.
"The same Bridgette who didn't take off right after I was born," she said and he sighed.
"The divorce was a rough time Mattie," he said gently. "I fought like hell with your mom before all of that happened. It was a bad time for all of us," he admitted as he looked down at her. "And yeah, maybe I was harder on Bridgette than she deserved, but you don't know what it was like being married to her," he said and she shook her head.
"No I don't," she told him. "I don't know what it was like knowing her at all."
"Bridge was," Clay sighed thoughtfully. "She was smart as hell, resourceful, and way too good for me," he smiled as he looked at Tilly. "You actually remind me a lot of her," he said as he put his hand on her middle back. "And I know it's not fair what I did," he admitted. "But I was so scared of her getting full custody of you that I acted really badly," he smiled gently at her.
"That would be a first," Tilly said dryly and he gave her a slight look.
"How did you find her?" he asked.
"Bachman," she replied simply and a look of realization seemed to cross his face.
"Is that how you got rid of the girl?" he asked and Tilly nodded.
"Yeah," she replied and he sighed.
"What the hell happened with that Mattie?" he asked and she smiled slightly.
"I was upstairs when it happened," she admitted. "But all I know is mom killed her and then flipped out and said we had to get rid of her,"
"Right," he muttered and she looked up at him.
"I'm taking a job with him when we get back," she informed her dad who frowned slightly. They were getting closer to the shop, so he stood near the door of the shop, against the wall and looked down at her.
"Is that really what you want?" he asked and she nodded.
"It is," she said.
"Well," he sighed and looked down at her. "I'm sure it'll make you very popular to everyone in NorCal," he admitted and she smiled. "You'll make good money, if you can handle it."
"Hey, I'm the one who liquified her insides and poured them down the sink," Tilly informed him and he closed his eyes, pinching the bridge of his nose.
"I never wanted any of this for you," he muttered and Tilly thought about that before she looked back at him.
"Then you probably should have let me go live with Bridgette," she said and then walked into the store. After picking up some laundry detergent and then getting some things to cook dinner as well as a bottle of wine, she walked back out and saw her dad waiting for her. The two headed back towards the clubhouse and he glanced at her before he reached over and put his hand on her back again, making Tilly look at him curiously, but when he didn't say anything, she didn't either- until they got to the clubhouse. Sons were all over the place and she thought about what she wanted to say for a moment before she stopped walking and he looked at her.
"I'm not going to stop talking to Bridgette," she informed him and he stared at her for a moment before sighing.
"What do you want from me Tilly?" he asked as he ran his hands over his face. It was starting to get dark and she realized night was coming in on them. "I did what I thought was best."
"I know," she said as she looked at him. "I just want to know who I am- my family- all of my family," she explained. "I have a brother and a sister," she smiled softly. "And a step-dad- all of them have known about me, and all I've ever heard was my mom was some drugged up croweater who took off the minute I was born," she said and shrugged. "Then I find out that's not true. I just want a chance to meet the other half of who I am- and if you respect me as more than just an extension of yourself- you'll let me." she said and then walked into the flop.
Her first stop was the laundry where she started the sheets to wash, and then she went back upstairs to the kitchen that everyone used. She put the groceries into the fridge and took out the bottle of wine and opened it before she poured herself a glass.
As she took her first sip she saw Juice walk into the back and then return with Jax and Trinity. "Where are you guys going?" she asked and Jax held a finger up to Juice who paused at the door with Trinity and Jax walked over to Tilly.
"We're going to bring Fiona and Kerrianne back to the rectory," he told her and she nodded. "Heard some of the SAMBEL guys saying they were getting together a welcome party," he added after a moment. "Just so you know,"
"Oh god, I'm so tired," Tilly whined as she let her head fall back. He laughed lightly at her and then shrugged.
"You know Sons like throwing parties," he commented as he turned and walked to the door. "Be back in a bit!" he called over his shoulder and Tilly sighed as she looked at her glass of wine and then went to find Happy.
When she found him, he had taken off his sweatshirt, and his regular shirt and was laying on the bed in just his muscle shirt and his jeans. Tilly walked in, noticing the way Happy had his hand tucked under his arm and she set her glass of wine- and the bottle- down on the slightly taller dresser, before she kicked off her shoes and climbed onto the bed. He opened his eyes and gave her a small smile before he pulled her down onto the bed next to him and wrapped his arms around her.
"Pillow smells like dust," he muttered and she scowled before shrugging as she snuggled into his side and rested her head on his arm.
"Not mine," she commented as she wrapped her arm around his middle. "Mine smells like cigarettes, aftershave and sweat,"
"That's man smell," he replied and she smiled before she let out a sigh and snuggled in a little closer.
"Jax said SAMBEL's throwing some sort of welcome party," she muttered and he shifted his head to look at her.
"Tonight?"
"Seems like," she replied. "He's going to take Fi and Kerrianne back to the rectory with Juice and Chibs,"
"Think they'll notice if we hide out in here all night?" he asked and she smiled before she cracked her eyes open.
"Most likely," she admitted and he sighed before pulling her a little closer.
"Thought we were here to get his missing kid- not go to parties," he commented and she shrugged.
"Who even fucking knows anymore," she replied as she leaned in to kiss Happy's chest gently. "But if any of those Irish bitches try to push up on you-"
"They won't get a chance," he assured her as he looked down at her. "There's only one redhead I want to fuck," he commented and she smiled as she looked up at him.
"You better mean me," she commented and he chuckled before he ran his hand down her back and to her ass, giving it a squeeze before he pulled her hips against his.
"I only ever mean you Baby," he assured her as he gave her ass a firm squeeze. "You bring anything to wear to a party?" he asked and she shook her head.
"No, but I'll figure it out," she said. "I always do,"
"Too bad you didn't bring that little silky thing," he sighed as he laid back on the bed and she grinned before she got up. "Hey- where are you going?" he asked as she got off the bed.
"Take a shower," she replied. "I still smell like sex and you from earlier," she said and he sat up with a groan.
"That's my favorite smell," he joked and she scoffed as she rolled her eyes and walked to the bathroom. She was just closing the door when he caught it and she looked up at him as he stepped into the bathroom and closed the door behind him.
The party consisted of loads of SAMBEL members, as well as members from charters all over Ireland, other MC's, hang arounds, and sweetbutts everywhere. Music was playing, there was someone grilling, there was bars, and fighting and the guys were having a great time.
Tilly had ended up just wearing a SAMCRO shirt she'd brought with her and some jeans with her boots, and she watched as people fought and drank and danced and had a good time. Jax decided to step into the ring, and Tilly watched as Trinity wrapped his hands before she looked over at Happy who gave her a small nod.
"You gonna fight?" she asked and he grinned as he wrapped his arm around her shoulders.
"You wanna watch me fight?" he asked.
"I always want to watch you fight," she told him with a grin and he bit his lip as he looked down at her.
"What do I get if I win?" he asked and she smiled as she shrugged.
"Guess you better win and find out," she replied softly. "But I'll give you a hint, you've already had it twice today."
"Third time's a charm Little Girl," he whispered in her ear and she smiled before she pecked his lips.
"Better go get taped up then," she said gently and he walked away to do just that.
"You sending Hap out there?" she looked up at Opie who had moved next to her while Happy had indeed gone to get taped up.
"I don't send Hap anywhere," she scoffed as she sipped her beer.
"Oh bullshit Till," he said as he looked down at her with a slight smile. "We all know Happy would do whatever you said, whenever you said it," he told her and she grinned slightly, looking over at Happy who looked over and gave her a wink.
"I may have encouraged him to get out there," she shrugged. "But I mean, he's his own man,"
"Oh no he's not," he said and looked down at her, giving her a small nudge with his elbow. "He's your man," he said and she grinned before watching Liam O'Neill hit the ground like a sack of bricks.
"Pussy," she whispered and he laughed.
"He's just Ireland tough. Wait till your old man gets out there," he said and then looked over at Chibs. "I'll be back in a bit," he said and they walked off, taking Bobby with them, and Tilly smiled at Happy who walked up with his shirt in his hands and his Cut over his arm. He wrapped the Cut around Tilly's shoulders and she slipped her arms into it before taking his shirt and giving him a peck on the lips.
He accepted the kiss and then turned to his opponent as Jax and Liam got out of the way. Tilly cheered as Happy fought the opponent, who favored jumping around more than actually fighting, but he learned he couldn't dodge Happy's fists forever.
When Opie, Chibs and Bobby came back, Chibs wrapped an arm around Tilly's shoulders and looked at her. "How's he doing Tilly Girl?" he asked.
"He's doing great," she said as she smiled at him. "How are you doing?" the Scot let out a laugh and then leaned against her side, smelling heavily of whiskey. "That good huh?" she asked with a grin.
"I was doin' better but then I had to hear your parents goin at it," he commented and she wrinkled her nose. "Like I didn't get enough of listening to people doin' it after you and him," he jerked his head towards Happy just as Happy got punched in the face.
"Oh shit," Tilly said and Ope smiled as he looked down at her.
"Oh don't worry Till," he said as he put a hand on her shoulder. "He's just letting that guy think he has the upper hand,"
"Lulling him into a false sense of security," Bobby confirmed with a nod and watched as Happy soon was delivering several strong strikes to the guy who fell to his knees. Happy moved above him and then glanced at Tilly who watched as he gave a slight jerk of his head and when she nodded back, he delivered one final punch to the guy who collapsed, unconscious.
"See what I mean?" Opie said to Tilly and she looked up at him. "That's your guy." she smiled softly at that before she ran into the circle and wrapped her arms around her sweaty husband who smiled and pressed his lips to hers.
"I didn't realize it was a knock-out fight- Jax didn't knock out O'Neill," she pointed and he grinned as he pressed his sweaty forehead to her forehead.
"It wasn't," he said simply. "Do I have time for another fight?"
"Oh god yes, my parents are going at it in the flop, and I don't need to hear that," she muttered and he chuckled before he nodded.
"Good," he said and then gave her another kiss, took a sip of her beer and then turned around with his arms raised over his head.
The second fight went the same way as the first and after that one, Happy was way too worked up to think of another one, instead he turned around, marched over to Tilly and picked her up, throwing her over his shoulder. She laughed as he carried her to the flop, much to the amusement of the people around, and when they got to their room, he kicked off his boots, shoved off his jeans and boxers and laid on the bed, his cock hard and sticking straight up.
"Take everything off except the cut," he ordered Tilly who grinned at his demand and then did just that.
Tilly woke up later in the night to an empty bed, she sat up and rubbed her face before she pulled on Happy's sweatshirt and a pair of underwear and walked out of her room to the living room where Happy was playing cards with her dad, Juice, Chibs and Opie.
"Oh geez, Hap, you're about to be scolded," Chibs said jokingly when he saw Tilly walking over. Happy turned around in his chair and smiled seeing her before looking back at Chibs and giving him a small shake of the head.
"Hey," Tilly said softly as she wrapped her arms around him from behind. He reached up and touched her hand before he kissed her forearm.
"What's up Little Girl?" he asked as he pulled his chips towards himself.
"Just woke up alone," she mumbled as she turned her head and kissed his neck.
"Tilly Girl, want us to deal you in?" Chibs asked as he took the deck of cards from Juice.
"Nah," she said softly. "I just wanted to check on Hap," she assured them before she gave his neck another kiss. "I'm gonna get the sheets from the dryer," she told him and he nodded as she pulled away and then turned and grabbed her hand. She turned back to him and he pulled her close, wrapping his arms around her middle as he stood up and leaned down to give her a long, deep kiss. Tilly smiled against his lips and then sighed when the kiss was over before she pecked his lips a few times, ignoring the jeers and comments from Juice, Chibs and Ope who had to give their brother a hard time.
After she got the sheets from the dryer she brought them back to their room and made the bed before she took off the sweatshirt and slipped back into bed with a sigh. She could hear them all laughing and having a good time, and she smiled as she wrapped her arms around the pillow and rolled onto her stomach to fall asleep.
The next time she woke up it was to Happy climbing into bed with Tilly. She opened her eyes as he flopped down on the double bed next to her and then looked over at her. "Think you got one more in you baby?" he asked and she let out a soft chuckle before she glanced over at him.
"I'll never understand how you get so horny when you drink and most guys get major whiskey dick," she replied as he rolled over onto his knees.
"Is that a yes?" he asked and she rolled her eyes before nodding.
"Yeah, it's a yes," she confirmed and he grinned as he knelt behind her and gave her ass a firm slap and then hooked his fingers into the waistband of her underwear and pulled them down her legs.
When they finally fell asleep she was wrapped in Happy's arms as the sun crawled up over the horizon, bringing their second day in Ireland to a start while the two of them slept off their first day across the pond.
I hope you're still enjoying this story- I know I'm still enjoying writing it!
