Fairy Tail y x793

The first thing she thought when she started regaining consciousness was that she died. Nothing in real life felt as comfortable as she was at that moment. She was lying in a soft place, warm, and…

She sat up quickly, alarmed and tense. Sharp intense pain shot through her body after the movement, knocking the air out of her lungs and making her dizzy. Clarity hurt her eyes, and even breathing hurt her body.

"What the-"

"Easy now," an old lady spoke, touching her forehead with a damp cloth. Nashi reacted on instinct, grabbing the woman's wrist and twisting it away from her. The woman stepped back looking annoyed, "well now, that's not very polite seeing that I just saved your life."

She frowned, confused, and winced when pain shot through her arm. Even the slightest movement felt like a marathon and hurt like hell.

"You're fast," another voice, this time from a man, came from her left, and she looked at him immediately. Her eyes widened slightly when she recognized the blue haired man, whose eyes were cold on her, "impressive that you could move so quickly to defend yourself even in that state. Not many people have that kind of battle reaction," he sounded very suspicious of her.

"What…" her voice was weirdly hoarse, and suddenly her brain began to work and bring back the memories of what happened. A different kind of pain shot through her, more intense and awful than any physical injury. She grabbed her chest, welcoming the ache in her muscles, and tried to recompose herself. Breathe, shove it back in the box, let it go.

"Girl?" Jellal called, and Porlyusca began to approach her again, probably to make sure she wasn't having some sort of seizure.

"I'm ok," she spoke, but let the old lady check on her.

"You've got more wounds than I assumed was humanly possible, girl, you're definitely not ok," she said, "you can interrogate her once she's stronger, she's not going anywhere right now."

Nashi planned on leaving right away.

"Well, I know she won't leave while her friends sleep in the next room," Jellal spoke and she tensed. Were they in danger?

"Who's here?" She asked him, "who made it?"

Her next sentence came out just as Mirajane entered the room with clean linens, water and some cookies. She tensed again at the sight of the woman, but this time she was a bit more prepared for the surprise. Mira, however, frowned.

"Who made it?" The demon repeated the question, "that's an odd way to ask about your friends."

"No, it isn't," Nashi was impatient, "who's here?"

"A little girl, I think her name is Lyra," Jellal began to answer, "a blue haired girl and a blonde guy," he hesitated, clearly unsure of what their names were.

"Aiden and Yume," Nashi spoke, relieved, but then she felt apprehension, "they're the only ones?"

"Well, it seems like there were more kids with you, but they all left before we got to that beach," Jellal replied, now clearly taking pity on her, "now I get to ask questions, who are you?"

"Nashi," she replied dryly.

"We gathered as much from your friends begging us to save you," he looked annoyed at her, "you might want to elaborate on that."

"I don't want to, no," Mira smiled slightly when she said that, "but fine, what exactly do you want to know?"

"Well, for starters, why did I sense Zeref's magic on your group?"

"Because I cast a spell that was created by him in order to save all of our lives," Nashi was straightforward and the answer seemed to catch him off guard, "also, I'm pretty sure the Space Between Time was once controlled by him, so us crossing through it is probably another reason."

"Crossing through…" Jellal's voice died down, and now Mira looked tense and serious too. "You traveled through a timeless void?"

Nashi nodded.

"That's not possible," he was firm.

"It is with this," she showed him a purple mark on her wrist, and Jellal seemed to recognize it.

"This is Chronos' seal," he spoke, looking at Mira and Porlyusica. The latter seemed like she didn't care while Mira was visibly interested.

"So you came from the past? Like Anna and Natsu and the others?" Mira inquired and Nashi shook her head negatively.

"Shouldn't you call more people here?" She asked instead of giving them answers. "I'd rather not tell this story twice."

Mira did agree and went downstairs to get Makarov and a few others. She came back with Erza and Gray as well.

Nashi feared who else could appear and tried to prepare herself ahead of time.

"Mira says you're from the future," Makarov spoke in a serious tone, "what is going on?"

Nashi sighed.

"I come from 100 years in the future," she started.

"How? We destroyed the Eclipse gate," Gray interrupted her.

"She claims to have traveled via the space between time," Mira spoke, "using the Time God's seal."

Nashi showed them her wrist, which Makarov studied closely. He eventually nodded.

"I can sense its magic, though it is faint", he spoke and Nashi shrugged.

"It should be, it's no small feature to take many people through that space," she said, "and if that's not enough for you, this should help," she lifted her skirt a little and revealed a mark in her inner thighs that surprised all of them.

"You're from our guild?" Erza asked, now even more interested, "so that's why you're so forthcoming with us?"

Nashi nodded.

"I heard many stories about all of you," she told them, "me and my friends… we all admired you…"

"Should you tell us stuff about our future? Isn't it dangerous?" Gray interrupted her. She shook her head negatively

"I've taken precautions," she spoke, and now Makarov tilted his head.

"It sounds like you planned this trip down to the very last detail," he spoke, and she waited, "so why did it hurt you so much?"

"I didn't expect to have to make this trip, this was the plan B and a last resort," she admitted, and her hands closed into tight fists, "I made sure that, if we did come back, nothing we did could compromise the future or our existences, but that was all I could do," she took a deep breath, "I'm lucky to be alive, these wounds are nothing."

As she said that, Porlyusica pushed her back and made her lie down in the bed.

"These wounds are serious," she said angrily, "stop making my job harder."

"We sent word to Wendy, she should be back soon to speed up the healing process," Mira spoke kindly, "Nashi… what were you running from?"

"Something dark," she spoke while looking at the ceiling, taking note of how perfect it looked, "something that wiped out most of the planet. We didn't come here just to survive," she turned her head to face Mira, "I'm here to stop it from happening again."

With that she fell back asleep.
