Chapter 10
AU notes- I'm back ! after the long break I'm writing again thank you all for waiting sorry this chapter took so long I had some issues with it I wrote it like 5 times before I finally got a version of events I was good with. To be honest I am not happy with this chapter at all but after weeks of bashing my brains out on a section of the story I had no plans for I finally managed to get something through which will let me get to the parts of the story I'm actually ready to write and can do a better job. Plus, Izuku's costume gave me issues never been much of a clothing person myself. so let me know what y'all think about it. If anybody has a better idea for his costume then what I came up with let me know and If I like it ill make it his new costume when it changes.
The next day Izuku was reminded something about UA that while it may be the top hero school in the country it was also a regular university as well.
The classes they took for the first half of the day were standard classes of any university student Math, English, history, Ect in fact except for the fact that they are thought by pro hero they were fairly normal.
The only really notable event came at the end of their hero modern art history class taught by Midnight.
The R-Rated heroine had just finished her lecture for the first day of the class mostly just going over the syllabus and expectations and the like as students started to pack up their things the teacher called out.
"Oh Midoriya, Bakugo, do say hello to your mothers for me I've been meaning to give them a call for a while now"
Izuku and Bakugo looked up interested unaware that their teacher was acquainted with their mothers.
"You know our moms?" Izuku asked
"Oh yes: Midnight smiled "They work for a modeling agency that I sometimes work with."
"Wait Midoriya Bakugo your moms are models you never said anything about that" Kaminari exclaimed.
"Why the hell would we bring that up bug zapper" Bakugo scoffed at the boy.
"Cause its cool do you have any pictures of them" the electric blond responded undaunted by Bakugo's tone."
"As it so happens, I have one of their magazines" Midnight interjected before pulling ladies fashion magazine out of her bag and hanging it out.
The magazine cover quickly made its way through the class with various students commenting on the beauty of the women.
Jiro took the magazine and whistled at the two gorgeous women on the cover. One was shorter with Dark green silky-smooth hair that looked like Midoriya's if he actually took good care of his hair. The other was a tall voluptuous blond with short hair that stuck out in the familiar spikes of the explosion user. She briefly scanned the title picture it was talking about how mothers could keep or even up their looks after their children leave for school. clearly the women had modeled for others in their situation.
The rocker girl looked over at Izuku and saw he looked slightly uncomfortable with all of them talking about his mothers but just smirked at the boy. "Good now he gets a taste of what it was like for me during the move in with my mom."
"So are you close with Midori and Bakugo's moms" Mina asked their teacher when the magazine had made its way to her.
Midnights smile went little feral making the Izuku and Katsuki a little nervous for reasons that they couldn't explain.
"Oh yes" The R-rated heroine answers "Very close in fact after the modeling agency New Years party two years ago and the Christmas party last year and I shared a pair of lovely nights in hotel rooms with the two of them having very hot threesomes. I was also invited to their wedding but sadly wasn't able to attend due to a raid on a large villain group I was asked to help with."
All eyes in the classroom went wide at the Sensei's blunt statement although none reacted as badly as Izuku and Katsuki.
The blonds face went pale and then green and he quickly gathered up his stuff before dashing from the room leaving a trail of dust in his wake.
Izuku looked like he wanted nothing more than to follow the boy but was being held in place by his need to respect his teacher. "W-Will that be all mam" The poor boy asked the horror in his face so real that it brought back his old stutter.
Seeing a chance to mess with her hunky student a little more midnight spoke with a wicked grin. "Tell them hello from me and that I'd love to see them again sometime soon. Also tell Inko I'm disappointed she never told me just what a stud her child is. I would have loved to meet you sooner." To rub salt in the wound Midnight licked her lips at the end of her words sending Izuku into a blushing stammering mess at a level he hadn't been in years.
This also was enough to overcome Izuku's manners and the green boy gabbed his things before dropping into one of his portals as getting out of the room on foot wouldn't be fast enough in his mind.
As soon as the green haired boy was gone Midnight started laughing hysterically at their reactions.
Being an adventurous soul herself Hagakure was the first in the class to recover enough from the R-Rated statements from the R-Rated heroine to ask the question some of them were wondering when they heard her laughter.
"Sensei was that a true story about you and Midori and Bakugo's moms or were you just messing with them?"
Midnight calmed her laughter enough to answer the invisible girl "Both, word of advice to you girls and boys if those two are anything like their mothers, then a night with either of them will be an amazing experience you will never forget"
If the students had been embraced before this statement was enough to really trigger some reactions.
Mina and Jiro were both blushing hard the latter tapping her jacks together lightly.
Yaoyorozu and Ida were both muttering about inappropriate conduct for a teacher and shifting uncomfortably.
Kaminari who had been drooling slightly at the idea of the hot lesbian three way lost much of his amazement at the idea of sex with another guy and quickly packed up and left.
Ochaco was a dangerous level of red and hiding her face behind her hands triggering her to start floating into the air before Tsuyu caught her by the ankle holding onto her like a child with a balloon.
Kirishima was just staring between their teacher and the door Bakugo had run through and muttering "So manly" leaving those who heard him wondering if he was talking about Midnight or the blond boy.
Neither of the boys were seen for a while after that. The class had a lunch break and multiple members of 1-A were keeping an eye out for the pair either for ask if they were ok or to tease them about it or in the case of Ashido and Hagakure both.
They did see the boys when they walked into the class room for their foundational heroics class. Ochaco quickly went up to Izuku to ask if he was ok but the greenet assured her that he was fine but really didn't want to discuss the event.
Kirishima and Kaminari went up to Bakugo but were met with a glare and an order to go fuck them self's.
As the class waited for their teacher a discussion began as to who it might be.
"I bet its going to be Best Jeanist" Sato put forth "I've heard he volunteers his time to help teach the next generation of heroes"
"It would be cool if it was somebody in the top 5" Jiro said.
"Ribit, Maybe its All Might" Ts uyu put forth "We know he is a teacher this year from our acceptance letters and we haven't seen him at all yet."
Ida chopped his arms as he spoke shaking his head "I doubt that is the case. All Might is more likely spending his valuable time working with the third- and fourth-year students who are closer to entering the hero field then he is with us first years."
"He makes a good point" said Kaminari " Maybe they got one of the other top heroes to help out like Endeavor how cool would that be."
Todoroki's voice was emphatic when he spoke up, a rarity as he didn't often contribute to class conversations " My father would never donate his time in that way"
The discussion was interrupted by the sound of large running feat pulling the eyes of the class to the door.
"I am" Called out All Might as he burst through the door "Coming through the door like a normal person"
"Holy shit All Might really is our teacher" shouted an excited Kirishima
"That's his Silver age Costume isn't it, Ribit" Said an excited Asui
"It is the style is so different " Ochaco gushed
All Might walked to the front of the class room with every eye locked on him "I am your foundational heroics teacher, this class focuses on building your basic heroic skills through different trials and tests. For hero students this is the most important of all your classes and will take the majority of your time during the days."
All Might struck and manly pose his back to the class and flexing before continuing " Your activity today shall be" The #1 hero spun around holding a plastic sign " Combat training"
There were many excited faces through the class none more so than Bakugo whose grin looked downright blood thirsty.
"However, before we start you will all be needing these" All Might declared before pointing to the wall on one side of the room.
The wall in question shifted and shelves came out containing a multitude of suitcases with their seat numbers on them.
"Your costumes are finished in line with the forms you submitted after your acceptance the third year support course students have made them to your specifications"
The students were all excited at this news costumes was a major part of heroics and getting your first one was a big step on the road to becoming a hero.
"Get your costumes on then report to training ground beta" All Might instructed before dashing out of the class room.
Izuku moved forward and collected his suitcase he was excited he knew that Bruno had made his costume but he hadn't seen it the Hatsume father insisting that it be a surprise.
On opening his case he saw a mix of dark green and silver and smiled at the note attached. The note was from an unnamed 3rd year support student thanking him for giving her the chance to make this costume designed by a famous support gear maker like Burno Hatsume.
The green haired boy smiled as he donned his costume for the first time.
All Might stood at the training ground watching as his students emerged from the locker rooms most of them had done a good job with their costumes designs although he noted that Hagakure was either naked which was a problem that needed to be addressed or she was wearing some kind of quirk mimicking fiber. He truly hoped it was the latter but he would be sure to talk to the girl about it…. Or get midnight to talk to her for him. "They say clothes make the man and as of this moment you are all heroes" The symbol of peace praised his students.
(I'm not describing most of the costumes because they haven't changed from cannon even Bakugo's is the same I thought about giving him something different sense Bruno made his costume but frankly I think they did a good job making Bakugo's costume to start with I cant think of much to improve)
All might counted the students who had emerged and realized they were missing one. "Where is young Midoriya?"
"I'm hear sorry Sensei I had to calibrate the computers in my visor it took a second to get it adjusted to my eyes" Izuku's voice came from the lockers room as the boy rushed out all eyes turning to him for a moment.
Izuku's costume consisted of a pair of dark green combat boots with silver steel soles. A pair of well fit green cargo pants with a silver stripe going down each side and a silver utility belt with green pouches. The top was a dark green Kevlar vest with pouches and pockets colored in silver creating a contrasting look on the center of the vest was emblazoned a stylized image of one of his portals (this story's title picture) that he was shirtless under the vest showed off his muscles to great effect. his arms were bare expect for a pair of segmented silver bracers wrapped around each bicep. The bracers looked like a series of metal bars wrapped around his arms. The outfit was completed with a green tinted visor over his eyes with silver metal plates on the side (picture Mirio's visor but green instead of yellow).
As he approached the class he stood with Mina Kyoka and Kirishima
"Dang nice costume Midori" Mina praised
"Ya totally manly" Kirishima added in
"Ya but what's with the shirtless bullet proof vest look you look like you just walked out of one of the calendars of hot cops" Kyoka teased the boy
"Oh so you think I'm hot then" Izuku teased back
Kyoka flushed as she realized the implications of what she had said and lashed out with her jacks at the green haired boy who easily dogged them, "Shut up"
"Besides you want to talk about someone showing off the guns Kirishima is putting on even more of a show then I am. Your costume is sick man" Izuku laughed before praising the redhead.
"Thanks bro but your more ripped then I am so even if I'm showing off more its probably prety even in terms of manliness" Kirshima commented
Mina laughed at the embarrassed rocker girl and the boys muscle talk" You two are such boys but what about us Greenie do you like our costumes" The pink girl struck a pose as she waited for the answer her grin wicked.
"Ya you look amazing Ashido those colors really work for you" Izuku answered her blushing lightly at the way the skin tight costume showed off Mina's impressive curves.
"Aww thanks Midori you're such a sweetie" Mina teased the boy.
Kyoka just looked away frowning a little she knew that compared to most of the girls her costume was lacking in any kind of sex appeal. Don't get her wrong she liked her costume it was very rock and roll in her eyes but it wasn't as attractive as Mina, Tsuyu , or Uraraka and it definitely had nothing on the eye candy value of Yaoyorozu's costume. Seeing all the girls wearing such tight outfits had caused her body envy to raise its head again she tried to suppress it but it was hard with her classmates being such bombshells.
Before she could go to far down this line of thought Izuku's voice called her attention back "Your costume looks great to Jiro the rockers look really suites your vibe and it makes you look super beautiful"
"Wh-What" The purpelet asked "You think I look pretty in this costume" she was stunned by his words before realizing he was probably just being nice and turning sarcastic. "oh ya I'm sure you think me in this leather and cotton is very good looking standing next to all these bombshell girls in spandex"
"I believe the word I used was beautiful but pretty also works" Izuku wasn't sure where this flirty attitude was coming from, he knew he had grown more confident sense he got involved with Itsuka and Mei. And like most guys his confidence had gone up even more when they started having sex. still this was a new side of him, but he was enjoying it so he continued "I also could have said cute, lovely, or hot if your preferred"
That caught Jiro off guard and left the usual confident girl stunned into silence staring at Izuku her face flushed.
"So manly" Kirishima commented on Izuku's flirting.
Before anything more could be said All Might called the classes attention to him.
"All right you little zygotes!" boomed All Might, "You all look very cool but its time we get things started"
"Sir!" Ida raised his hand "This is the mock city from the entrance exam will we be conducting training in urban combat today?"
All Might gave his signature smile answering ""Yes, we will! Specifically we will be doing indoor battle training, so you will be using various buildings of the mock city! After all, although the most heard about and televised villain fights are out in the open, the majority of hero work takes place inside, Smarter criminals know not to commit there misdeeds in the open where there will be witnesses or patrolling heroes."
"We are going rite into fighting each other with no basic training" Tsyu asked surprised
" The best way to learn the basics of combat is through experience plus this exercise will help us get an idea of your base combat abilities to we know where to start with your training" All Might explained although Izuku couldn't help but think he was talking a little mechanically compared to usual almost as if he was reading a script he had memorized. He was proven correct a moment latter as All Might pulled a piece of paper out of his back pocket and started reading off it.
"In any case we will be doing two on two battels today with one team as the heroes and another as the villains." Before All Might could say anymore the students jumped in with questions.
"What determines victory?" asked Momo.
"Can I just blast the other team till they die?" growled Katsuki.
"Will we be at risk of expulsion or removal from the hero class like Aizawa sensei's test?" asked a nervous Ochaco.
"How will we be splitting up?" asked Tenya raising his hand.
"Isn't my cape fabulous?" asked Yuga, while flashing his cape and letting off sparkles making Izuku wonder how he was doing that.
"Whoa whoa whoa slow down young ones my quirk isn't super hearing" All Might Sweat dropped as he raised he hands for quite.
Once the students were calmed again All Might gave an awkward cough before continuing " Ok so in order the answer to your questions, I'll explain shortly, no and that you said that is concerning, no, I'll explain that, and it's very nice son but be careful with it there is a reason that most heroes my self included have largely phased out the use of capes."
"Rite you stop using a cape after the missel incident while you were a hero in America" Izuku spoke up his hero nerd showing. "A villain was trying to blow up a dam using a ballistic missile you stopped the villain but while you were trying to neutralize the rocket it went off and your cape got stuck in the fins of the rocket and almost choked you to death"
All might flushed not a lot of people knew about the incident as it had been a long time ago…. And in another country…. And never publicized in japan at all…Seriously how big a fanboy was this kid.
"Yes that would be correct young Midoriya now moving on I will explain todays trial." said All Might ignoring Ayoma who was now holding his sparkly cape and pouting lightly.
The symbol of piece reached in to his back pocket and pulled out another sheet of paper which he began reading off "The scenario is this, Two villains have come into position of a nuclear weapon and have secured it inside their hideout. The heroes will have a limited time to either capture the villains or secure the weapon in order to win. The heroes just need to touch the weapon in order for it to be counted as secured. The villains will be considered capture if they are either incapacitated or wrapped in the provided capture tape. The villains will be considered victorious if the time expires or they are able to similarly incapacitate the heroes."
'huh it's like a scene from a western action movie' thought Izuku
"Teams will be determined by drawing lots out of this box" All Might exclaimed holding up a lottery box.
"Is that really the best way to make such a choice" Asked a showed Tenya.
"It makes sense if you think about it" Izuku said thoughtfully
The rest of the class teacher included turned to face the greenet. But Izuku didn't really seem to notice as he continued his mumbling.
"Heroes often have to form impromptu teams in the field during emergencies as often as not with heroes they may have never meet. The situation often won't allow for you to wait for an ideal partner."
Izuku realized that everybody was staring at him stopped talking but All Might just nodded.
"correct young Midoriya now sense there is an uneven number of students" All Might's voice trailed off for a second as he muttered "freaking Aizawa kicking people out of the first day again" before returning to its usual volume "There will be one student who has to work solo would anybody be willing to volunt- "
Before the number one hero could even finish the question Katsuki's hand shot up
"I'll go fucking solo better then working with one of these extras anyways" The explosive blond shouted.
"Sorry young Bakugo I have a note from Aizawa that it's obvious you need to work on your attitude to working with others and from that statement I agree so you need to work on a team. " All Might denied the boy.
Katsuki grumbled a little under his breath but knew better then to fight back against a teacher.
"Do we have anybody ells who would be willing to work solo today?" All Might asked again.
Two hands were raised Izuku and Todoroki, The former because he felt confident in his ability to make a good showing on his own so was willing to take the bullet to spare his classmates. The latter seeing it as another chance to prove that he could succeed against the odds with only his mother's quirk.
"Very good of you boys and too decide this we are going to use….. A Coin" after pausing for suspense All Might produced a large coin from within his costume with a dramatic flourish, about the size of a normal persons hand. The coin had a picture of All Might's face on the front and Izuku quickly recognized it as one of All Might's novelty coins about a dozen official versions of them had been made over the years Izuku personally owned copies of about 10 of them. . Placing the coin on his thumb he heled his hand out.
"Now young Midoriya call it In the air" With this All Might flicked his thumb launching the coin
"Heads" Izuku called out.
The coin went up and up, and up, and up, and out of site. The super strong number one hero had given the coin a little too much power and sent it flying it into the air.
"Whoops" All Might rubbed the back of his head embarrassed as the whole class sweat dropped.
After a minute a gleam could be seen as the token began to fall and with impressive reflexes All Might snatched the coin out of the air with one hand.
"Heads it is so you young Midoriya will be working on your own today" All Might Declared
With that established the rest of the teams were put together in short order.
The teams formed in short order
Team A: Kyoka Jiro & Shoto Todoroki
Team B: Yuga Aoyama & Tsuyu Asui
Team C: Koji Koda &. Toru Hagakure
Team D: Fumikage Tokoyami & Hanta Sero
Team E: Rikido Sato & Mashirao Ojiro
Team F: Tenya Iida & Mina Ashido
Team G: Denki Kaminari & Ochako Uraraka
Team H: Eijiro Kirishima & Katsuki Bakugo
Team I: Momo Yaoyorozu & Mezo Shoji
Team J: Izuku Midoriya & -
Upon hearing the teams, they had been assigned, the students instantly erupted into noise as they all began talking amongst each other finding their partners and expressing their feelings on the matter. Everyone seemed fairly content with their teams with some who felt excited by it.
"Manly lets kick some but Bakubro" Kirishima s celebrated extending his first to Katsuki for a bump. Katsuki just scoffed at the red head.
"All right now that we have out teams, we will see who will be going against whom" Said all might as he produced two more lottery boxes labeled as hero and villain. Reaching into the boxes he produced a ball from each.
"Our first bout will be Team E as the Heroes verse Team J as the Villains." All Might announced.
All might called attention back to himself. "All right students the teams I just called should make their way to the starting areas. The villains will start inside the building. You have 10 minutes to make a plan and any preparations you with, then after that the heroes will be able to enter the building as well. The heroes or I guess for this bout hero will start 15 feet from the building in the marked off area. The rest of us will be watching from the observation room using the surveillance cameras spread throughout the training ground. Since this is battle training, fight to the best of your ability without fear of injury. Of course, if things get too extreme, I will step in and stop the match. But short of that give it your all and Go plus Ultra."
Izuku made his way to his marked starting area and did his best to start coming up with a plan for how he was going to take on this challenge.
From what he knew of his opponents from the quirk apprehension test as well as various interactions of the last week, both were close combat types Sato's Quirk mean that he could summon significant strength and Ojiro was a dedicated martial artist.
The former did not concern Izuku too much his style of martial arts put a lot of focus on counter moves and submissions so dealing with a physically stronger opponent was something he was well trained for.
fighting an opponent with 5 limbs on the other hand would be a new one for Izuku. Regardless that the boys were both hand to hand combat types meant Izuku had an advantage and he planned to make use of it. Picking up the bomb prop he had been given Izuku ran towards the building to set up his plan of attack.
As he did this Sato and Ojiro were huddled together to discuss their plans against the verdet.
"What do you think we should do" The sugar rush user asked his teammate.
"Midoriya is a tricky opponent" Ojiro speculated " With his portals he could have moved to any spot in the building easily our best bet will be to try and separate him from the bomb one of us will attack him while the other moves for the weapon if we can move faster than he can open his portals we can split his focus."
"Sounds good" Sato agreed. "Where in the building do you think he will be?"
Ojiro thought about it his martial artist mind turning over the strategic area. "I think he will go rite to the top floor he knows neither of us can get there with our quirks so he would go all the way up so we waste our time searching the lower floors before getting to him."
"So, we should skip the search and make for the stairs rite away" Sato
"Preparation time is now complete" All Might's voice rang out through the speakers in the training area "You may begin"
On hearing these words, the Sugar Rush and Tail quirk users rushed forwards towards the building Ojiro was a little faster than an unboosted Sato and reached the target building first however just as he did so he heard.
"what the-"came Sato's surprised shout which cut out almost instantly. Spinning around Ojiro looked for what had startled his partner only to find he was alone.
Ojiro looked around confused as to where the sugar rush user had disappeared to but he didn't have to wonder for long as he heard All Might's voice through the speakers again. "Rikido Sato has been eliminated."
It was then that Ojiro realized what had happened to his partner somehow, he must have gone through one of Midoriya's portals however just as this revelation came Ojiro felt a sensation of falling and looked down to see the green swirl of Izuku's portal.
Falling through Ojiro landed on a flat surface he only had a second to look around and realize he was on the roof of the building before he felt arms wrap around his neck in a perfect rear naked choke.
The blond lashed out with his powerful tail forcing his assailant back and breaking their hold on him. Spinning around he came face to face with Izuku who stood in a fighting stance. Looking over the greenet's shoulder he saw Sato sitting on the ground wrapped in the capture tape they had been given at the start of the exercise.
"Villain surrender to the authorities" Ojiro said in his best heroic voice
"You will never take me alive hero Muahhahaha" Izuku gave his best villainous laugh.
In the viewing room.
'Well at least they are embracing the spirt of the exercise' All Might thought ignoring the sniggering students behind him.
Back on the roof
Ojiro and Izuku rushed forward the blond using his tail to launch himself into a flying kick. Izuku rolled under the extended leg passing under Ojiro .
Both of the boys spun around and shot forward.
Izuku moved in with a right cross but Ojiro blocked the punch before striking out with one of his own. Izuku dodged under the punch with his arm extended trying to trap the other boy in a standing arm triangle choke however Ojiro was far to experience to fall for such a move and dropped his weight down breaking Izuku's hold.
Ojiro then spun lashing out with his tail in a low sweep Izuku jumped over the appendage but this turned out to be a trap as the other boy spun around and lashed out with a kick at Midoriya wile he was in the air. ( think the leaf whirlwind leaf hurricane combo rock lee does but with a tail)
Izuku managed to get his guard up enough to block the blow but was still thrown back several steps.
Ojiro pressed forward again using his tail to launch himself forward this time in a spinning kick that Izuku was able to catch and used to throw the other boy away but as he was thrown the blond managed to lash out with his tail again striking Midoriya from the side.
The boys each backed off to recover before taking their fighting stances again.
Ojiro took the moment to look around the roof of the building thinking that if he could find the bomb he could touch it and end with match without having to fight Midorya. Unfortunately, the bomb did not appear to be on the roof of the building at all meaning the only way he could win this was to subdue his green haired class mate in a straight up fight.
'He is an even better fighter then I am' Izuku thought as he too took a moment to recover. 'Not to mention the strength speed and flexibility of his tail make it like a whole other opponent one has to fight. His quirk seems like it is a simple one but when combined with his martial arts training its dangerous.'
"You're a skilled fighter hero" Izuku acknowledged the other boy while staying in character.
"You as well if I wasn't about to send you to prison, I would say we should spar more often" The Tailed boy joked.
"Ha I may just take you up on that" Midoriya replied. "But the clock is ticking so its time to get serious.
Suddenly Izuku seemed to drop into the floor Ojiro was surprised not knowing that Izuku could open his portals without hand motions but before he had a chance to do anything he felt kick to his back knocking him off balance he spun to face his opponent only to see Izuku punching forward into another portal even as he watched Izuku's arm appeared from besides the blond and struck him in the side.
As the blow struck Izuku hand activated and tripled the power of the punch causing Ojiro to against his will flinch inward at the blow losing his guarded position which Izuku moved forward to take advantage of to attack with a serious of punches.
Ojiro was able to get his guard back in time but was still pushed back a step by another powered up punch before he launched out with a round house kick that force Izuku to back off again.
Ojiro tried to use this to his advantage and shot his tail forward to jab at Midoriya but this would prove to be a mistake as with a splaying of his figure Izuku opened a portal Infront of himself just large enough to encompass the tail which led to Ojiro being hit with his own muscular appendage from the side.
The blow was strong enough to knock the Tail user off his feet and before he could regain them Izuku was on him trapping the other boy in a full mount position with his tail trapped beneath him. Izuku held his metal hand an inch from the other boys face in an obvious gesture that if he wanted he could strike the other boy in the face with one of his enhanced punches.
Ojiro knowing, he was beat raised his hands in surrender "Dam I haven't been hit by my own tail sense I was a little kid" he joked a slight groan in his voice.
" Mashiro Ojiro has been eliminated." All Might's voice wrang over the speakers as the pro hero saw the fight was over "Villain team wins"
Shortly after the boys returned to the viewing room where there class was waiting to a polite round of applause from their fellow students before All Might played back the footage of their battel.
The class had almost missed it when it happened but now they were able to see in detail how Sato was taken out in the same method that Midoriya had first tried on Ojiro a portal on the ground that dropped him on the roof and a surprise choke from behind but despite his stronger build Sato lacked the combat skills or his partner and was unable to break free of the submission hold and was taken out quickly.
"Man I barely did anything before Midoriya destroyed me" Sato exclaimed awkwardly rubbing the back of his head.
"Nobody is perfect, Young Sato! That is why we are training in first place, so that you can learn from things like this so you are not so easily defeated next time." All Might patted the teen on the back.
He turned to the class, the video of the trial now finished playing on the screen behind him and asked: "Now, young heroes, who can tell to me who is the MVP and why?"
"I mean its got to be Midoriya rite" Kirishima spoke up " His sneak attack on Sato wasn't very manly but he was totally manly and won his manly fight with Ojiro coming on top in a two on one… so manly"
'was that an answer or just an attempt to see how many times he could use the phrase manly in one sentence' All might thought to himself as the other students muttered about Midoriya victory and the Pros and cons of a sneak attack
"Sensei! If I may?" Yaoyorzu spoke up, the other students stopping their discussions to listen to the girl's words. "While Midoriya's method of taking out Sato may not seem as honorable as his fight against Ojiro he was meant to be the villain in this exercise so in doing so he actually was sticking to the spirt of the training even better. In addition he had the foresight to place the bomb on the floor below where he was planning to engage the heroes so they couldn't just break away from him and touch it to end the match"
All might blinked at the girls detailed answer before nodding "Very good Young Yaoyorozu but do not dismiss the notion of ambush tactics being used by heroes as well as villains at times they are the best way to capture hostile villains with minimal collateral damage your sensei Aizawa happens to be a specialist in that area"
Izuku received his congratulations and moved to join his classmates, Jiro giving him a thumbs up for winning his battle and Katsuki slapping him on the back congratulatorily although all he said was "I could have done it faster nerd."
Ojiro and Sato came over to shake hands with the boy and Ojiro mentioned he would love to spar with Izuku again sometime.
With that done it was time to continue the battle trials
The next Trial pitted Team A as the Heroes versus Team C as the Villains.
Unfortunately it was over rather quickly. Todoroki had frozen the entire building in seconds trapping both Hagakure and Kota in place.
The Pair were left shivering and trapped when guided by Kyoka's sonar like hearing much as the dual quirk user denied that he needed her help. The heroes found the villains on the top floor and Todoroki easily made his way to touch the bomb before defrosting the building and the other team . Todoroki was of course declared the MVP of the match although All Might lightly reprimanded the boy for not accepting his partners help at first.
The thirds match was Team H Kirishima & Bakugo as the heroes ended up going against Team D: Tokoyami & Sero as the villans.
"Lets go Baku-bro" Kirishima cheered as soon as the match card was announced
"Shut the fuck up shitty hair" Bakugo shot back as he stomped out to the starting area
Their match also was longer as the Villain team had tried to set an ambush for the heros on the stairs to the 2nd floor and were slightly successful as Tokoyami was able to use Dark Shadow to throw Kirishima into a net of Sero's tape.
However Bakugo with his impressive instincts had seen the attack coming and dogged out of the way before unleashing an explosive barrage that ended with Sero slammed into a wall and knocked out and Dark Shadow being forced to retreat from the light produced by the blond leaving Tokoyami vulnerable this securing Katsukis victory. For which he was declared MVP of the match
The fourth bout consisted of Team I: Momo Yaoyorozu & Mezo Shoji as the villains and Team B: Yuga Aoyama & Tsuyu Asui as the heroes.
This proved to be the longest match of them all as Yaoyorozu's strategy was to use her quirk to produce heavy iron plates that Shoji placed for her all around the room effectively locking it down leaving Aoyama and Asui no way to get to them or their bomb until the time ran out.
Yaoyorozu was declared the MVP as it was her plan to lock the room down and her creation quirk that made it possible.
The final Match consisting of Team F: Tenya Iida & Mina Ashido as the villains and Team G: Denki Kaminari & Ochako Uraraka as the heroes.
At first it seemed like it was going to be a easy win for Iida and Ashido whose superior speed and maneuverability neutralized Urarakas ability to remove their gravity while keeping the girl pinned down.
However that's when Kamianri got involved and released his indiscriminate shock 1 million volts. Doing this he successfully took out both the villains but had not payed close enough attention to where his partner was standing and ended up taking Ochaco out of the match as well. Kaminari was left in his dumb state after using his quirk and unable to do anything and so the match was declared a draw. The general consensus being that everyone had lost and there was no MVP.
"Good work young zygotes!" said All Might after the class had gone over the video from the final fight , "you all took your training seriously and gave a plus ultra effort. That concludes hero class for the day get changed and report to your homeroom."
Then with a flourish of his cape and his trademark smile All Might dashed away.
The class followed his instructions, changing out of their hero costume and into their uniform before reporting back to class where Eraser head was waiting for them.
"Ill be reviewing the videos from your battels tonight and we will discuss them tomorrow" the tired man announced. "Those of you who were declared MVP of your Matches ; Midoriya, Todoroki, Bakugo and Yayorozu you are excused form the homework the rest of you will write a 500 word essay on your battle trial and what you could have done differently."
With that Aizawa dismissed the class
