Chapter 2

Next evening Bruce Wayne had organized a social party where he would introduce the public to his successor at Wayne Enterprises, Harry Potter. Since it was a big event he invited major heads of different corporations outside of Gotham as well with the main one being LexCorp from Metropolis.

Harry walked next to his mentor Bruce Wayne, who was helped in travelling by his former friend Diana Prince, the Wonder Woman. Bruce talked with different people he knew from meetings, social gathering etc. while Diana helped him move in his wheelchair.

Harry Potter greeted a number of big people Bruce knew and then after deciding to sit on a chair and get a drink accidently knocked out a young woman from her legs. " I am so sorry, let me help you." He apologized quickly and helped the young lady to stand up.

"Hello my name is Hermione Granger. I will be your personal assistant and will help when you will not be able to come to work. Your father Bruce Wayne hired me and I will help you but I assure you that I am not like all the women you know here and your Potter Wayne charms do not affect me." As the girl tried to go somewhere else, a young man with blond hair noticed Harry and came to talk to him

"Hello young Potter. I see you will be the next big shot in this city. My name is Draco Malfoy and I will be the director of LexCorp branch in Gotham, so I will be seeing you more especially in socialite meetings. However, I warn you not to associate with lowlife like her" Draco pointed at Hermione and went away to meet other business people.

"Do you know him?" Asked Harry

"Yes, I heard of him from a friend who was his former secretary. She was fired recently and feels bad about herself, she thinks that she is to blame for that but I know that it was Draco Malfoy's fault. The man does not think high of anybody not born into wealth and since I am not one of "the big shots" as he would call me, he thinks I am a bad person"

"That's crazy, I do not think you are bad just because you were not born into wealth, I think that you seem to be an intelligent and an independent woman who tries to find her place in this big world." Hermione blushed but tried not to show that. The two then parted and Harry went to meet other people.

As the party progressed, everybody got little too relaxed and then suddenly the door exploded and ten gangsters entered. Their leader had very red ginger hair with some freckles on his face; he held a knife in his hand as well as a couple of guns, which were attached to his belt. He looked at the guests and saw Harry.

"Well hello, the famous Harry Potter. You think you are a big person but you will pay for what you did to my sister and my family." He approached him and his goons scared most of the guests away.

" I do not know you!" said Harry

"You do or don't does not matter. A plane, which was carrying many people exploded over the ocean and my entire family got killed. That plane belonged to Potter Industries. So this is your fault. My name is Ron Weasley and today I will kill the famous Harry Potter!" He made a sign and two of his goons approached Harry and tried to kill him but Hermione jumped and in two kicks made them hit the floor. Harry was not expecting that and was surprised as his new assistant new Martial Arts. "Stupid girl" said Ron and as he hit Hermione, she dropped on the floor.

Ron looked at Harry and tried to shoot him, Diana Prince flew towards him and knocked him on the floor.

"You think you defeated me, Wonder Woman? I don't think so!" Two of his goons took their bazooka and shot the ceiling and the walls, which started dropping large stones on the room. Diana had no choice but to save other people. When she finished the thugs were gone together with Harry although two more goons were lying on the floor. It was obvious Harry did not go without a fight.

Hermione got up and after taking her bag, run from the building, jumped on her motorcycle and pressed the location button on the monitor. She saw the movement of the car and drove towards the position of her boss.

Meanwhile when Harry awoke he saw that he was tied, he also noticed that he was in some sort of chemical facility. He noticed that the others still thought that he was down and used that information to quietly get a pick from his pocket and free himself.

"Harry Potter, today you will die from a very painful death. We will drop you in the chemical vat and your body will get destroyed." He laughed. Harry was fed up with that nonsense and upon freeing himself jumped away and hid in the shadow. The goons noticed that and started shooting.

"Come out! Do not be shy! I will kill you for what you did to my family!" Harry hid in another corridor. Someone touched him and he jumped and got ready to fight them but he noticed Hermione standing there with a bag.

"Hello Harry, I think you might need that" she gave him the bag, where lay the Batman costume.

"Common, you need to change and fight them." Harry looked at the costume and the realization hit him that his assistant knew of him being the new Batman.

"Can you go away, I need to change!"

"Harry, this Ronald Weasley and his gang are shooting everywhere and this is a safe place. Besides, I will not look at you." Harry took his costume and quickly changed and saw that true to her word Hermione looked away.

"Now please go and defeat these crooks!" Hermione stayed as Harry went to where the criminals were using the shadows took down them all with the exception of Ronald Weasley.

"Batman! What have you done with my prisoner?"

"He is safe and you are going to jail!" Ron fired at Batman and two men started fighting. Harry had the advantage of having more experience but Ron fought more dirty. After a ten-minute fight, Harry had the upper hand and almost got Ron but the villain accidently tripped and fell into the vat of chemicals.

"Now that reminds me of something," he thought. He called the police and soon they arrived and captured the gang with the exception of Ronald, who was missing.

"Thank you Batman" said the Commissioner Gordon and Batman swung away from the scene, in the process taking his assistant with him. As they drove on the motorcycle back to the Wayne Tower, Harry asked Hermione on how she had found him.

"It was easy, I have a microchip in your cloths, which can locate your position." Harry looked at her suspiciously but said nothing.

A/N

I though I had to make Ron like the Joker, he would be similar to Bruce's archenemy but also different.

However, other villians will be somewhat different

The ones I am considering as Harry's future rougue gallery are: Ron , Dudley, Draco, Luna, Fleur and some others. I welcome suggestions to whom wil be in his rougue gallery but Hermione and in the future Neville will be his allies.
