Chapter 3

After the dinner was over, which followed by the departure of Bruce Wayne from Gotham, Harry drove his car to Wayne Mansion, the place where he first visited about eighteen years ago. He remembered the pictures of him sitting together with Bruce and Dick enjoying the holidays. Now, it was his turn to be Batman and by extension he was would be now the resident in the house.

As Harry arrived at the house, an old man had opened the doors for him. "Welcome home Master Harry" said he.

"Good to see you too Alfred" replied the boy as he entered the house. It looked little smaller now but Harry reasoned that the reason for that was that he was now older.

Harry opened the old Grandfather's clock and entered the cave. He slowly entered it and saw that he was not alone, a woman in her early thirties with long red hair and glasses sat at a computer in a wheelchair.

"Hello Harry, my name is Barbara Gordon. Before he left, Bruce asked me to move in to here, so I could operate from the mansion and help you on your missions."

Harry was not expecting that but said thank you as he was a polite young man. "So is there any crime going on which I need to investigate?" asked he

But before he could reply another figure had exited the shadows. The woman was dressed in black and purple costume with a variation of a Bat mask on her face, she had long black hair and looked somewhat threatening. "Nothing I cannot handle" replied the woman.

"Helena!" said the red head

"What?" replied the Huntress.

"Harry Potter Wayne is now a member of this family and you like it or not he will work with you occasionally as well." Huntress went to the gym to practice and Harry had a questionable look on his face- he was puzzled at what had just happened.

"Don't worry Harry, Helena is very similar to Bruce and is a good person but she took the retirement of Batman, who she viewed as a father figure too hard. She will soften given time." An alarm started and Barbara pressed a button to see what the heck had happened.

"There is unrest in here" she pointed out on the Gotham map " there is navigation system in Batmobile" Harry jumped to change in a separate room and when he returned a few moments later he saw Huntress sitting there"

"You coming or what?"

"Lets get something straight Huntress, you are not Batman and I am not Robin and you cannot boss me around" replied Harry

"Suit yourself" the car took off and the two drove to their destination. While the car was driving, there was silence inside the cabin as neither party wanted to talk to the other. Upon arrival, they exited the car and went to investigate.

Immediately upon their arrival they saw many thugs, who started shooting at them. The duo hid from the attackers and then Harry dropped smoke bombs that distorted the vision of the criminals as grey deathly vapors were floating in the air.

"Move and follow me" ordered Huntress

"I am Batman and I make the rules" disagreed Harry. Before they could continue the bickering, they saw a couple of thugs looking at them, who started shooting. Helena took her bow and shot on man's gun, after which she jumped and in one kick knocked out both thugs.

"Impressive, but I can do better" replied Harry as he jumped and defeated a thug, who jumped behind Helena. He knocked him out and then disappeared in the mist, where Helena heard many hits, kicks and screams, after which Harry returned.

"See, I am better than you" said Harry but before Helena could argue, a large figure appeared and knocked them both out.

The two crime fighters woke up an hour later and the first thing they noticed that they were pressed against each other and had metal chain all over their bodies with them hanging on a chain on top of a tall building. "I finally got you Batman. I hate you folk, the rich, the meta humans, the superheroes. Today justice will be served"

"What do you want from us?" Asked Harry

"Revenge. My dad and I were fired recently by Bruce Wayne, who I know is your boss as he is the only person who can afford all that gadget shit. And today I will repay him by killing Batman! But before that, I will learn who you and then kill you!" Despite the struggles of the two bats, the man took of their masks.

"No, it cannot be! I thought you were dead!"

"What are you saying? Do I know you?"

"You are a freak! I will rid Gotham from the likes of you meta humans, weirdos and businessmen! I cannot believe that today I will finish what my father had started in that dark alley two decades ago!" The man took a pistol and put it to Helena's head.

"Before killing you I will execute your girlfriend or whatever crime fighter she is to you. I know Batman does not like when innocents die!"

Harry looked at Helena and whispered to her "ready?"

"Yes" the two escaped from the chains and kicked the man in the face. He dropped on the roof floor and started shooting at the duo. But this time the two bats were ready and by working together knocked the guy on the ground.

"Who is this guy?" asked Helena after she put her mask back on

"His name is Dudley Dursley and his father killed my parents"
