This is bad. This is very, very bad. The scruffy, wild bedhead of dark hair is the only other occupant in the bed, partially hidden by an arm hung overhead, and circular glasses awkwardly bent. She panicks because she shouldn't be here, and this bed isn't hers, and who knows what credit card she must have used to get the room, and it is well almost noon, and he damn well isn't hers

Hey, all!

I haven't updated this fic since 2017. Wow, it's been a long time!

This update here is me expressing interest in returning to this fic idea, but I'm asking first if anyone is still interested in it? Just like anyone, I don't want to waste my time writing if no one is interested in reading.

For an explanation, I recently revisited the Harry Potter theme park and completed a movie marathon of the series with my sister who's never seen it before now, and I'm hit with a reignited love for this fandom! So, I thought to reach out to anyone who's still a fan of my old Fanfiction works and invite you over!

I've reposted the start of this fic to my Archiveofourown account under the current title "I am short of breath standing next to you" (title may be subject to change in the future) and posted under my Archiveofourown name. For this time, I thought it would be a cool change to make the fic interactive with readers. I've done it before, in a different fandom. Doing this means that readers (after you comment on the current AO3 chapter) and then you can send in to my tumblr prompts, questions, or anything that points in a direction of where to take the characters and plot. Basically, readers largely control the direction of the story.

The first chapter of this planned fic has already undergone a heavy edit, and I plan to do so with future chapters transported over from Fanfiction — that is, if anyone WANTS me to continue it, of course.

(And, I thought that as a way to continue the fic Mistakes Like These, these school days chapters can become flashbacks to Isobel and Harry, including everyone else.)

But again, feel free to let me know whether you like this idea of not. I cannot upload more chapters if no one wants to read it.
