Welcome back, it has been a while. I hope you are ready for an update.
We left off with the Hokage assigning a rather controversial mission to the shinobi composing the current Uzumaki clan. One that was happily embraced by Kasumi, much to Naruto's shock and Anko's conflicted amusement. Before they can even contemplate moving on with the rest of the…repopulation plan, they need to figure out exactly where they all stand and what they all want from this situation. After all, Naruto hasn't exactly hidden his intentions to make Anko his wife and matriarch of their tiny clan. That alone means some preparations must be made and some traditions must be followed.
The rest of the situation is bound to make things all the more complicated for the young clan head.
Not that he is actually complaining of course. Noble and respectful as he is, the Hokage himself just handed him the 'golden ticket' for a young shinobi like himself and his wife isn't even angry…if anything she is a bit excited.
Anyway on to some business and then we can see the story unfold for ourselves.

My response: Pointing out that these aren't exactly canonical academy students. They have more years of training and have spent at least the last three focused on team building and combat exercises. That all being said it's not even remotely the reason why they landed the scratch on Naruto that they did. It's because he severely underestimated them. He studied each of them and knew his sister better than anyone in the village and is arguably one of the most successful shinobi in the ranks. It's been used in other stories and applies here as well. Even a genin can kill a kage in the right circumstances. Being an elite jonin doesn't make someone suddenly infallible. On top of all that though even if the attack landed he could have easily avoided any damage at all. But he didn't then he praised them for their teamwork which seemed to allow them to landing a blow on a living legend in the village…maybe it's all part of a longer term team building scheme. Then again maybe he is a young man who is pretty used to being the big fish in the pond and he slipped up even if only a little bit.

My response: We won't be seeing true blue relationships between Naruto and any of his students for a while. Foundations yeah but not really more than that. Kasumi a bit more only because she has more or less gotten a free pass to push her boundaries. Naruto fully intends to marry Anko before fully pursuing this 'mission' so you will be getting your wish of it being primarily Naruto and Anko for a while. I like the pairing quite a bit especially for an older Naruto so I look forward to playing with it.
Last note before a blurb regarding discord and such. Several times I have been either reviewed or messaged directly regarding including Hinata into this story. I know I said last chapter that wouldn't happen, but time and thought about it, plus the several people actually interested in it have made me somewhat reconsider. No more waiting around, let's get to the story.
Chapter Three
The Uzumaki household was a bit…tense the morning after Hiruzen had paid them all a visit. His actions and decision to make what he had into a mission had more or less obligated Naruto to rebuild his clan faster and in a way he hadn't expected.
It had also given Kasumi the excuse to pursue something that she thought was impossible. After all, she wasn't about to try and place herself between Naruto and Anko. She loved both of them. In ways that would have most civilians in the village and plenty of Shinobi gossipping.
To say she had made her intentions quite clear after dinner was an understatement. Unfortunately, that hadn't been the quick segue into a loving romantic moment as she had expected. After her kiss with Naruto finally broke Kasumi's mind seemed to catch up to her actions and she panicked before bolting to her room leaving an amused Anko and completely stunned Naruto in her wake.
The red headed Jonin had recovered admirably and knew better than to pursue his younger sister at the moment. Instead he helped his girlfriend clear away the dishes from dinner while enduring her teasing about Kasumi's crush as well as chiding him a bit playfully for not properly proposing yet.
That had turned into him trying to do it 'officially' only to receive a painful thump on the skull and demand to do it right and surprise her sometime.
Easier said than done when trying to propose to a Kunoichi specializing in information gathering and interrogation. Honestly she was lucky he adored her so much otherwise he might give up at the prospect of such an insurmountable task as planning the perfect proposal.
By breakfast time things between all three members of the household were tense. Much more so for Kasumi with both her brother and Anko.
"Kasumi, want some more eggs?" Anko asked softly with a kind smile.
"Yes please." Kasumi timidly replied as she held up her plate for the older woman to dish more up for her.
Naruto watched the interaction as he ate his own meal. His sister avoided looking his way as well as making eye contact with Anko. The violet haired beauty didn't let it bother her clearly, which Naruto appreciated. With her past there had been times early on in their relationship and before that during their friendship, that Naruto had taken the more emotionally mature spot in their interaction.
Anko avoided emotionally distressing situations either by playing up her wild nature or acting almost comically brutal. Both had gradually diminished as her need for such defensive fronts fell away. But seeing her handling the obviously emotional Kasumi so easily made him simply smile.
The blonde jolted slightly before relaxing as Anko gently rubbed her hand with her own. Just reminding her that she wasn't about to push the two closest people in her life away.
"Kasumi, I plan on taking you both to the clan shrine tomorrow so you won't have training." Naruto announced.
"Oh? Sure. Sounds like a plan." Kasumi replied in an abnormally subdued tone causing her brother to sigh.
"It will be fun. We get to learn some stuff about the clan only your big brother has known for like almost twenty years." Anko chirped trying to pull out the naturally curious and cheerful girl she was used to.
"Yeah…" Kasumi replied feeling somewhat excited though her mind focused on the fact that her brother had to be the one to show her because her mother and the rest of their once large clan was gone before she even ever met them.
The trio continued to eat in reserved silence. Anko clearly became increasingly uncomfortable as she silently debated with herself to try and bridge the awkward gap again.
Naruto however had little patience for something like this. Standing he took both of the women's attention before Kasumi averted her eyes once again.
"Alright, enough of that. You don't need to be so…" He struggled for the word.
"Ashamed?" The blonde weakly offered.
She yelped as Anko slipped into the seat closer to her and jabbed a finger into her side.
"Yeah. That." Naruto said before stepping around the table and dropping a hand on his sister's shoulder.
Kasumi tensed briefly before relaxing as both Naruto and Anko made it clear they weren't about to ridicule her for how she had acted the night before. After all, while they hadn't expected this sort of response from her when the Hokage had brought his wishes to them, they had known she was crushing hard on her brother.
"You aren't freaked out about me just…jumping you?" Kasumi asked.
The couple shared an amused glance before Naruto snorted loudly at the memory running through his mind.
"Let's just say you and your brother are more alike than you might think." Anko said with a grin.
"What?" Kasumi asked.
"I might as well tell you. It messes with my perpetually cool and suave reputation I suppose but just for you…" Naruto said, shooting a smile toward Anko as she cracked up slightly.
The blonde glanced between the other two in the room in confusion. They seemed like they were sharing an inside joke. She had to guess it had something to do with their first kiss or something just by the context but she was pretty sure she had been there for their first kiss at a small party a few years ago.
"You think really loudly." Anko giggled as she squeezed her favorite blonde.
"Yeah she does, that wasn't our first kiss." Naruto laughed, causing Kasumi to blink owlishly as he practically read her mind.
"We stayed pretty quiet about our relationship for a couple months before that party. By then we were already-" Anko began.
"Please no. No details of that." Kasumi groaned, getting chuckles from the other two.
"Please, the only reason you don't wanna hear it is cause it wasn't you." Anko teased.
"Now it is a bit weird for me. So back to the actual story. Anko had been living with us for a couple weeks or so and I realized that I had…feelings for her. I think you were in class and she and I both were at home. I had just come back from a mission and she was coming out of the bathroom…" Naruto said.
"In nothing but a towel." Anko smirked.
"Yeah. Nothing but a towel." Naruto said with a smirk of his own.
Kasumi rolled her eyes but continued to listen.
"Anyway, so I stared like an idiot while she blushed bright red and ran to her room." Naruto continued.
"Wait…really?" Kasumi asked.
"Oh yeah. She might act all immune to embarrassment around you and everyone else but Anko is really just as shy as you are." Naruto said before planting a kiss on his girlfriend's cheek.
"Whatever. As he was saying I went and got dressed. Then he had this sit down with me to talk about boundaries or whatever. Like taking clothes into the bathroom whenever we shower and things like that. Instead he keeps starting his talk, stopping and staring at me before starting over again. So…"
"She makes a joke. Like always. Only this time she asked me if there was something distracting me or if I just wanted to makeout. Still not sure what came over me." He chuckled.
"I know what came over me. This guy practically knocks me over to plant the wettest most amateur kiss I have ever had. It was probably one of the best moments I've ever had." Anko chirped as her eyes practically twinkled with happiness.
"I've definitely gotten better." Naruto pointed out.
"It just took practice. But that's the fun part right?" Anko asked with a grin.
"Most definitely." Naruto replied with a chuckle.
Kasumi smiled at the back and forth between them. She did feel a bit better about her actions the night before but it didn't exactly purge the awkward air between all of them.
"We need to get around. We'll meet up with the team soon enough. Plus Anko has some new guest to chat with at work." Naruto said, causing the woman to grin.
She almost didn't mind the early wake up call that early.
"I'll see you both this evening." Anko said before laying a kiss on Naruto and heading upstairs to grab her items for work.
"Someone got dropped off at T and I?" Kasumi asked.
"Yeah, some old man wanted to hire a genin team but after some vetting we learned there was a bit more to the story. He decided to clam up though so Anko is going to try to figure out what the full story is. Lord Hokage is pretty protective of the genin these days. At least compared to how it used to be." Naruto explained as he finished eating and began clearing the table.
"I thought she just tortured like traitors and captured ninja from other villages." Kasumi said before flinching slightly at the frown her brother sent her way.
"She interrogates people for the Hokage. One of the top three interrogators in Konoha behind only a guy that literally gets in your head and another that has specialized in that for like twenty years. Sometimes she has to torture enemy Shinobi, but most of the time sheis gathering information through talking with them." Naruto corrected her.
"I wasn't trying to say she was just a torturer." Kasumi defended.
"I know…it's just a lot of people talk shit about her. I'm a bit defensive." Naruto replied as he scratched the back of his head. He hadn't meant to react so harshly.
Kasumi smiled up at her brother. He was protective of Anko, just like he was of herself. It warmed her heart and made her recall the events of the night before. She really looked forward to the future. Especially tomorrow.
"Alright let's get going. I planned on teaching you all about proper escort formations some more today. That will probably be our first mission type." Naruto said as he headed for the door.
"That means we will get a mission soon!" Kasumi excitedly cheered as she raced to get ready. Naruto simply chuckled as she finally seemed to return to her normal self.
Naruto hadn't really thought about how he and Kasumi would both feel interacting with Sakura and Setsuna. The knowledge that eventually he would be trying to seduce both of them and Kasumi would be acting as their…senior in that situation.
At least he was a professional and was able to largely put that thought aside. Even if it suddenly made him far more aware that the young women under his tutelage were all very attractive. Something he hadn't considered all that much when he first took the team. He had been much more focused on what he would teach them at the time.
Still he was able to put such thoughts to one side while he did his duty as their teacher. Unfortunately, Kasumi was not only far less experienced as a professional Shinobi, she also had a much less professional personality.
"What the hell is with you today?" Setsuna demanded of the blonde beside her.
"N-nothing. Why? Feeling defensive?" Kasumi asked.
Setsuna just stared at her before scoffing and rolling her eyes. Sakura, who was standing nearby remained silent but had been shooting worried glances toward her blonde teammate most of the day.
"Let's focus, girls." Naruto said, causing the three teens to retake their positions around the transformed clone that Naruto had placed into the scenario.
"I still think this is weird." Kasumi said with a slight blush as she stepped up next to the feminine version of her brother acting as the client they were protecting.
"Weird how sweetheart?" The buxom clone asked as she leaned on the blonde in a very suggestive manner, showing off her assets in her extremely tight crop top.
Kasumi blushed brightly and stammered at the action even though she was mentally telling herself that it was just her brother as a clone. That actually made things worse.
Naruto snorted nearby at the interaction. Like the professional that he was.
"In position, sensei." Sakura called while trying not to stare at the duo of Kasumi and Naruko as they had decided to call their 'client'.
"Same here." Setsuna chimed in with a tone filled with annoyance toward Kasumi.
"Uh, me too." Kasumi replied while lightly shoving the pouting clone off of herself.
"Let's get going then. We will make our way toward the monument stairs with our end goal being the top of the monument itself. Naruko here is a civilian for this run so take the necessary precautions. We also know there are bandits between here and the monument and possibly rogue shinobi leading them." Naruto explained while slipping into position beside Naruko and Kasumi.
"So we need to be ready for an ambush at any time." Sakura frowned.
"Pretty much. Then again I would say outside the walls of Konoha, you should be expecting an ambush at any time. We may be in a time of peace, but even we in Konoha will pick off opportune enemies if given the chance. Including a strong genin with potential." Naruto said, causing all three of the girls to share a look of mild worry.
"Let's just get this over with." Setsuna huffed as she took her place on point for the group.
Naruto nodded as they all followed her lead before leaning in toward Kasumi's ear causing her to blush once again as she heard his whispered words.
"Now was that reaction earlier just cause it's a girl me, or is it because you have a thing for girls too? You know Anko swings both ways too." Naruto whispered, causing Kasumi to pull away from him and take a place further up ahead of both Naruko and Naruto.
Naruto and his clone laughed, breaking out even harder at the confused expression on Sakura's face.
The exercise continued without trouble. Despite her distracted state, Kasumi performed just as she was supposed to. The clones made out to be bandits were easily dispatched by the girls while Naruto hung back around the 'client'. Once they made it to the stairs of the monument he decided to up the intensity of the training.
Two 'rogue shinobi' took positions above them and let loose some kunai and shuriken before maneuvering along the sheer face of the mountain with chakra. The girls still reacted well and did their best though Naruto noticed they were far less use to fighting at different angles than the usual ground level. He would need to include that more in his training for the team.
"Got one!" Setsuna called out as she burnt a black mark onto the side of the mountain with a fire jutsu. Naruto grimaced a little at that. He was pretty sure he would be getting a lecture about containing most of his training to the training grounds…as well as some sort of fine for his team burning the side of the mountain like this.
"The other is coming around." Kasumi called out from her place beside Sakura.
"We got him." Sakura chimed in before she and Kasumi both moved forward across the side of the mountain using their chakra to stick.
Between the two of them the clone was overwhelmed. Naruto wasn't planning on making this first escort exercise a test in futility. That would come later to impress upon them that sometimes a retreat was best.
With the last of their opponents handled the team continued the exercise and closed in on the top of the stairs. Naruto was proud of them all for not dropping their guard after handling the last of his clones. They were ready for another possible ambush.
As they reached the top of the monument itself they all let out a small breath while Naruto congratulated them on their success. While Naruko dismissed herself, Naruto unsealed a small set up for a little picnic lunch and corralled the girls into a group on top of his father's head to eat together.
"These are pretty good,sensei." Sakura said as they began eating the food he had brought.
"I'll pass the compliments onto the chef. She wants you all over to eat dinner with us some time so there will definitely be more where that came from." Naruto said with a smile.
"The chef? You didn't make this?" Setsuna asked before turning to look at Kasumi.
"Oh Kasumi didn't make it either, she could burn water trying to boil it." Naruto said before catching a rice ball with his hashi and popping it into his mouth with a smile.
"It was made by his girlfriend. When she is at home she turns into a housewife instead of a kunoichi." Kasumi huffed.
"Please, those aren't mutually exclusive and one can help in the other. A kunoichi is far more detail oriented than the most neurotic housewife, while being gifted in skills around the home can help a kunoichi blend in on a mission. Plus if you said that to Anko, she wouldn't take it as an insult. She wouldn't do those things like cook your meals if she didn't want to." Naruto said with a bit of emphasis when he mentioned the fact Anko fed Kasumi daily causing the girl to cringe as she realized she sounded like she was badmouthing the older woman.
"So she normally cooks for you all?" Sakura asked, trying to keep the conversation rolling.
"Yep. She's pretty talented wouldn't you say?" Naruto smiled toward the medic in training who nodded enthusiastically as she dug back into her food.
"It is good." Setsuna agreed, though she looked like it had taken considerable effort to say so.
"I'll drag you home with us sometime so you can have her home cooking at dinner. She really shines when she can go all out for a meal. This is nothing compared to that." Naruto said with a soft smile.
"You really love her, don't you sensei." Sakura said with a girlish grin.
"I plan on asking her to marry me soon." Naruto said with a shrug, only to frown when Kasumi snorted, causing the other girls to look her way.
"She told him no last night because he didn't really propose. He just sort of said when they would be married and acted like that was the end of it."
"That is not how that happened." He argued trying to save some face with his students.
"Sensei, that is not how you win a girl's heart." Surprisingly it was Setsuna who said that.
"Wha-no. I am not about to be lectured by all of you about how to propose to my girlfriend." He grumbled.
"We only want to help Sensei." Sakura chirped. "You know they are opening a new restaurant near the Akimichi compound. You could take her there and propose over the weekend or something."
"No, she is a kunoichi too, you have to go above and beyond. Take her to a resort for a weekend and have the staff set up a perfect spot for just the two of you to be alone somewhere romantic. Then at sunset ask her." Setsuna said, causing all the others to stare at her.
"W-what?" She asked with a blush spreading across her cheeks.
"You're a romantic? That is so cute! I think I might actually like you." Kasumi crowed.
"Shut up!" Setsuna snarled before pelting Kasumi with a riceball.
"Hey don't waste the food that sensei's girlfriend made! She must have worked hard on it." Sakura joined into the argument as she tried to catch the food headed Kasumi's way.
Naruto simply watched as the girls bickered playfully with one another. He could get used to this sensei gig. It was actually kind of nice.
The next day saw the small Uzumaki household going about their morning routine much like they had the day before. Unlike the day before though, where a tension had hung over them due to the somewhat comical situation they had found themselves in the night before, now a different tension hung over them.
Being inducted into the clan's rituals was a big deal. Or at least it felt like a big deal to both Anko and Kasumi. The latter would have normally been inducted when she was a toddler. She should have spent her early years learning much of the Uzumaki's history and traditions. Instead Naruto had been stretched too thin to do any of that.
He also felt like he was robbing his late mother of her role by doing, but now he could put it off no longer.
For Anko it was different. All who entered the clan went through a specialized ceremony to welcome them into the family. Evidently it had been a big deal when there was a clan. It had just been a tiny short ceremony for Naruto's father that only his mother participated in. The same thing would happen for Anko today.
Despite having told both of them that the whole thing would be short and simple for them. That there wasn't anything to stress over, as they couldn't fail a test or whatever they thought they were walking into. The both of them were still working themselves up in worry.
There wasn't much more he could do to calm them down though. Whatever happened once they reached the mask shrine would happen.
"Where exactly are we going?" Kasumi complained as she trailed behind Naruto and Anko.
"You need to get used to longer hikes if you plan on going on missions out of the village. This is nothing." Anko laughed, causing Kasumi to very maturely stick her tongue out at the older woman.
"We're getting close. Don't worry." Naruto said with a chuckle.
The trio continued on. They had left the village proper and taken a road that led them just beyond the walls and back out and round the monument mountain deep into the forest. The road itself wound in circles almost but never quite doubling back in on itself making it rather confusing. Naruto never faltered as he led them though, and he knew after today they would never falter in finding their path to the shrine either.
"There it is." He told them as they finally made their way into a sizable clearing. The remains of a few smaller buildings surrounded the old mask storage temple. All of the buildings, even the temple itself were dilapidated and most were falling in. Only the temple was kept in somewhat decent shape, no doubt by the efforts of Naruto and Naruto alone.
"Why is everything in ruins?" Kasumi asked.
"This temple has been here for centuries. Our clan provided both the priest or priestess that manned it as well as the small garrison that defended it. This was some important sight or something, I couldn't tell you for what though. Most of the origins of our own clan were lost even before the clan wars era. Something important happened or was kept here at one time though and so the temple was built over the site. Our clan somehow found itself using it for special storage of items that were important to our heritage. Most were returned to the clan's homeland once it settled into Uzushiogakure though." Naruto explained.
Slowly they made their way past the ruined hovels that had once housed guards long ago.
"During the first shinobi war our clan couldn't afford to keep manning the garrison so it withdrew them and left only Lady Mito to watch over the temple and it's remaining artifacts. The Senju clan helped where they could but they were the only ones we trusted with this location's safety. Seals keep anyone not of Senju or Uzumaki blood from entering the temple…or at least they once did." Naruto told them as they came to stop at the stairs of the rickety wooden building.
"Mom took care of this place after Mito, right?" Kasumi asked.
"That's right. She brought me here when I was really small and inducted me officially into the clan. At the time some of the seals still worked on the temple so the ceremony wasn't completely symbolic. They wouldn't have harmed me but some of the temple would have been restricted without the ceremony."
"What about me?" Anko asked.
"Same for you. Normally we would conduct the ceremony out behind the temple where a special pool is, but like I said the seals are depleted or in disrepair. We'll pass through the temple to the pool so you can see some of the murals inside on the way." Naruto explained as he slid the door open and motioned for them to pass inside.
Cautiously both women stepped into the old temple. Even in its clear state of disrepair it was an impressive building. Clearly incredibly old. Murals on the walls were almost entirely faded but what could be made out depicted the Uzumaki clan evidently discovering the site, though what they discovered was lost to time. It showed the construction of the temple and the meeting of the Senju clan outside it's doors on frequent occasions for what looked like feasts and discussions between the cousin clans.
"There is a really old library down that hall, and down that one is a living area that I have remodeled with some of my extra mission pay over the years so it's in way better shape than the rest of the temple. I figured we could come out and stay for a couple days from time to time once you are both fully inducted." Naruto explained before he slid open the back door to the temple's main hall to show a back area filled with a beautiful if slightly overgrown garden surrounding a pool of crystal clear water.
The pool of water was fed by several fountains that surrounded it and was ornately constructed to funnel the water around a basin until draining through a grate at the center creating a perfect and surprisingly gentle whirlpool.
"We'll start with you Kasumi. It's a bit easier for those of Uzumaki blood. If you had the instructions you could even do it yourself." He said as they left Anko to stand by as an audience while the two Uzumaki moved into the basin until they stood on opposite sides of the drain grate. The water came to just above Naruto's knees here but the flow remained soft enough to not disrupt him.
Kasumi felt somewhat strange. There was no magical pull, no chakra washed over her, just cool clean water. It was almost disappointing.
"You know our clan was renowned for one thing above all else. That is our seals. I'll be showing you just how advanced some of our seals are but first comes this one. Using the first medium for sealing, our blood." Naruto said as he drew out an ornate needle and dug it into his palm.
Kasumi winced for him, but he paid her no mind as he squeezed his hand closed until a couple drops of blood dripped into the swirling pool below them. Just the small amount of blood quickly turned the water red for a moment before the blood was drained away.
That was when she felt it. The activation of some buried seal below the pool. Chakra practically rippled across her body and distracted her as her brother took hold of her hand and roughly pierced her palm with the needle causing her to yelp at the sudden pain. He didn't let her pull it back though as he held her in place.
"The seal underneath us is older than the temple building. It hasn't needed maintenance and I can't even begin to understand it's complexity. However it is essentially made to activate whenever it senses the blood of an Uzumaki in the water. It acts sort of like a registry. The moment your blood is added…" Naruto said as he tipped Kasumi's hand over and allowed the trickle of blood in her hand to drip down into the water.
"You are now recognized by all Uzumaki locations still connected to their seal network." Naruto smiled before kissing Kasumi on her forehead.
"That's it?" She asked in astonishment.
"For you, yeah. Kind of anticlimactic I know but you were born into the clan so you pretty much just have to sign up." Naruto shrugged as he led her back over to Anko.
"That was quick." Anko said cheerfully as they came up to her. Neither paid any mind to the already healed palm of Kasumi. Instead it was Anko's turn to be inducted. She had a slightly different process ahead of her though.
"I need you to undress love." Naruto said softly.
"Wait, really?" Anko asked.
"Mhmm, unless you brought spare clothes."
"Uzumaki, are you just trying to get me undressed in front of your sister?" She taunted though her hands were already removing her coat.
Kasumi excused herself with a mild blush and moved back into the temple to poke around. By the time the temple doors shut behind her, Anko was peeling off her panties and tossing them in a pile with the rest of her clothes.
She didn't expect Naruto to undress as well.
"There are two ways to induct one that is not of Uzumaki descent into the clan. Adoption would essentially register you as my daughter…so we aren't doing that or even bothering with that method. What we are doing is meant only for those who marry into the clan. I need you to trust me." Naruto said as he took her hand and led her down toward the pool.
"You know I do. Doesn't mean I'm not kind of freaked out." Anko replied.
"That's okay. Just try to relax. It's not a test. Just a sort of formality and a ritual." Naruto said as he led her to the center of the pool, at the very center of where the water drained down.
Naruto left her there a moment as he stepped out of the pool and walked over to a pillar that Anko had initially dismissed as just a part of the gardens surrounding the whirlpool fountain. He ran through a small handful of hand signs before using the same needle as earlier to open up his palm once again and pressed his bloody hand to the pillar beside him.
Anko felt the water around her begin to speed up. It became stronger and stronger till she felt like she was rooted in place. The pool began to fill more as well though causing her to blink as it rapidly deepened until it was at the height of her navel. Then it became weird.
The water began running red. The cool fluid she had actually enjoyed against her skin was suddenly surprisingly hot and sticky. She recognized it. Blood. Swirling around her, coating her body and sticking to her wherever it splashed up onto her.
"Naruto…" She muttered as she felt uncomfortable in the sudden change.
"I'm right here." He told her to look up as she waded through the deep pool of blood to her side.
She nodded but still felt her body tense as blood continued to swirl around her. Still she barely noticed as he used the needle to jab into her palm. She did however notice when he grabbed a hold of her body.
"Anko close your eyes, I have to submerge you." Naruto said, causing her to take a breath and do as he said.
It was quick. A simple dip beneath the surface and then he lifted her back up out. As she opened her eyes though it didn't make any sense. The pool was back to being clean, cool, and clear water. There was no sign of blood at all even the spots that had been opened up on herself and Naruto had healed incredibly quickly.
"H-how" She asked.
"Like I said earlier, the seal beneath us is incredibly complex. I couldn't decipher it if I spent my entire lifetime trying to. It was made by our entire clan working together. I can only imagine what the larger seal back in Uzushiogakure had been like." Naruto said before sealing Anko's entry into the clan with a kiss.
Suddenly feeling a burning need inside herself. Anko hungrily returned his kiss and both of them waded out of the pool before coming to a stop in the gardens just out of view of the temple behind several trees and thick shrubs. The grass her was soft, almost unnaturally so and they carefully descended to the ground while never breaking their kiss.
"Is this part of the ceremony too?" Anko asked as they finally came up for breath.
"Consider this our own little ritual." Naruto said before catching her lips again and letting his hands free to caress and pet her soft, damp, body.
Anko simply moaned happily into the kiss as she also began to explore the very familiar form of her lover. It didn't take long for them both to become ready for more than simply kissing and petting and Anko felt him slide between her thighs and begin probing her entryway.
"Welcome to the clan Anko Uzumaki." Naruto said before breaching her lower lips and burying himself into her.
She cried out slightly before readjusting herself and rapidly beginning to kiss and nip at his lips as they began their well practiced session of love making. It seemed slightly different now. Both of them felt like some sort of line had been crossed. Not a bad one, simply that they wouldn't be going back now.
While it was not official anywhere else, in the eyes of the remnants of the Uzumaki, Anko was now the matriarch of the clan, and wife of Naruto Uzumaki, the last clan head.
Neither considered that at the moment now. Instead their instincts had taken the forefront and despite being in the tried and true missionary position, Anko found herself feeling immense pleasure as Naruto took her deeper and deeper. Her fingernails raked across his toned back to leave thin red marks as if marking her man. All the while Naruto focused on his need to bury himself as deeply within her as possible.
Both bucked into one another to deepen Naruto's thrusts and soon both felt themselves nearing completion. Far faster than they normally would. Today was special though, for a myriad of reasons.
She may have joked about the proper proposal before, and she did in fact expect one as well as a proper wedding, however as she felt him empty his seed into her womb she accepted it wholeheartedly that the two of them were wed and she couldn't be happier.
Both orgasmed together and for a moment of euphoria Anko felt a strange sense of acceptance. Not just from her lover but from the area around her. As if the very temple, pool, and gardens approved. It passed almost instantly and the two of them laid with one another on the soft grass kissing and enjoying the peaceful moment.
Eventually though all things come to an end.
"Oh, is this part of the ceremony too? Did you two even do anything other than have sex?" Kasumi snapped as she found them.
"Hmm, jealousy is ugly Kasumi, even if you almost make it cute." Anko sighed out, causing the blonde to blush and pivot away before moving back toward the temple.
Naruto chuckled before slowly standing and helping Anko to her feet. Her legs were a bit shaky.
"Now what do we do?" She asked him.
"I sealed up some food for us to have lunch, but that is all for the rituals. You're officially mine now, Anko." Naruto said as he turned to look at her.
Anko smiled at that. She loved hearing him say it. Funnily enough a couple years ago it would have seriously pissed her off, but right now. She loved it.
They kissed again before collecting their clothing and getting dressed. Kasumi joined them again while pouting, but the lure of the food Naruto had brought was enough to smooth things over.
It was just a start for rebuilding their clan. Just a start.
