We see Team 7 rushing through the trees, the need to find a heaven scroll before they run out of time. They looked around and only found the corpses of ninja but never found a heaven scroll though when they went around a certain group they saw sand around some of them indicating who killed them. They would stop to eat at a lake when they were approached by Kabuto who offers to help them Lincoln is of course not willing to trust him because why would just suddenly be willing to help them but he says they don't have to trust him but he really wants to help them.

The others agree but Lincoln decides to watch him close. They with the help of Kabuto manage to defeat some Shinobi wearing what looks like jumpsuits and diving helmets. They manage to get the scroll as Kabuto bids them farewell leaving. Lincoln just looks on as he leaves feeling like he isn't who he says he is. They then follow along trees as they finally make it to the center building. Once they reach inside they don't know what to do but Naruto says they should open the scrolls.

Sakura and Sasuke say no as they said not to open them at all but Lincoln counters this saying that they are in the center building so it makes sense. The two sign as Lincoln takes out the earth scroll with Sasuke taking out the heaven scroll. They open them at the same time and Iruka comes out congratulating them on clearing the forest Kakashi also appears and also congratulates them and tells them that their fight isn't over yet saying they have to participate in battles in a couple hours.

Lincoln then tells Kakashi about what happened in the forest of death about how Orochimaru got in, bit Sasuke, tampered with the seal on Naruto, sent Shinobi to kill them and how he fought him along Anko giving him the scar on his left eye. To say Kakashi is shocked would be an understatement he is just relieved no one died and tells them to get some rest. They all leave with Lincoln deciding to walk around a bit just to see everything.

He ends up hearing some of the Teams that passed and there time but the one that surprises him the most is Gaara's team which actually managed to beat the time taken to complete the forest. He knew Gaara was no joke but he now he definitely knew he was a strong Shinobi but he can't shake the feeling that he is not well mentally but continues to just wander around.

Eventually he sees Fuu talking to her Teammates and decides to listen in,

"You going off to help those leaf Shinobi was nearly cost us the test!" as he holds her up by her top.

"I'm sorry but they were my friends and I needed to help them" she said struggling to get out of his grip

"You have friends Haha don't make us laugh a thing like you could never make friends" another one her Teammates would say

Lincoln hearing all this would be pissed his Sharingan spinning into existence as he wanted nothing more than to kill this guy's but he wanted to see more as he didn't want to get disqualified but he was ready if they so even as hurt her.

"Shut up what do you two know about making friends! I have made more friends here than in my own village so what would you ever know about me or them!" Fuu would yell at them spitting in the one holding her face causing him to get angry and throw her against the wall hard as she cried out in pain sliding down it.

The one who she spat on would grab a kunai ready to kill her there as she braced for it to impale her it never came. She opened her eyes to see Lincoln holding the kunai gripping it so tight to the point where his hand was bleeding. He would look at the guy dead in the eye (without his Sharingan) he would show anger so visible it would scare them he would say "Scum like you don't deserve to be Ninja or even live, but I will let you go but know one thing. No matter where you are or how far you are if you hurt her I will make sure your deaths are slow and painful" as he bends the kunai snapping it in half.

Fearful for their lives both of them leave as Lincoln drops the piece he was holding as he turns to her "Are you ok?" he asks with concern as she tears up and hugs him. He would be caught off guard by this but hug her back "W..why did you help me?"

"Anything to help the ones I care about that includes you don't let what they said get to you are my friend and an amazing person and if they or the people in the village can't see that then they are the ones that don't belong." He would say with a bright smile as she would begin to shed tears but not of sorrow but of happiness, hugging him again as Lincoln would then ask her why they treat her like this and why she said she never made friends in her village. She would be nervous but he would give her a soft look as he says "I won't force you to tell me, when you feel like you're ready you can tell me anything"

She would blush as she takes a deep breath and says "The reason I'm treated so poorly is because of this" she pulls down her top to reveal a seal above her chest and now it all makes sense to Lincoln "...I'm the Jinchuriki of The Seven Tails Rhinoceros Beetle." she would say hesitantly as Lincoln would smile softly and say "Fuu I know you're expecting me to start acting like the people in your village...Fuu I don't care if you're a Jinchuriki you're still a person and I said before if they can't see you for you then they are the outcasts." Once again she would be over-stricken by happiness and hug the boy again Lincoln would tell her that she needs to head to her room and rest for a while before the battles start.

She would nod and they walk to her room just before she goes in, she kisses him on the cheek saying thanks, entering her room. Lincoln would just stand there dazed and a blushing mess as he would smile walking to his room. About an hour and a half later all Teams that made it to here would arrive at an indoor battle field with two massive hands making a tiger hand sign at the center wall of the arena. The third Hokage would come in and congratulate all who made it here he says that normally this would be the final test but due to the amount of people here they have to weed out the people so think of this as a preliminary round.

Then Kabuto would bow out due to the fact that he and his team just got here and he doesn't have any chakra left. He would be allowed to leave something Lincoln is suspicious of but doesn't say anything as Hiruzen says that there is still a large number so they begin the battles a board on the wall would then begin to randomly generate names and Sasuke's is first up against one of Kabuto's Teammates Yoroi. Lincoln notices that something is wrong with Sasuke as he is holding his neck in pain.

He would go up to the stands with his Teammates and begin to watch Sasuke's match. Sasuke and Yoroi would stand opposite of each other as they were ready to begin, the referee Hayate would then begin coughing something that concerns everyone but he would begin the match as both began to fight it was clear Sasuke was at a disadvantage to the fact that he wasn't allowed to use ninjutsu due to the face that if he does he would be disqualified due to the curse mark and it didn't help that the one who he was fighting could absord chakra by touch so Sasuke had to rely only on Taijutsu. Yoroi would have Sasuke pinned down absorbing his chakra as the curse mark began to crawl over his body.

Sasuke would steel his resolve saying he won't use succumb to it as the marks goes away Sasuke kicks Yoroi in the air and the hits with a flurry of kicks and finishes it with an axe kick to the chest crashing Yoroi into the ground knocked him unconscious declaring Sasuke the winner. Lincoln notices the technique and sees it's similar to Lee's Front Lotus and Sasuke calls it his Lion's Barrage.

The generator would spin again and everyone was prepared and ready to fight whoever they were prepared to face.
