Chapter 11

Dealing with The collector and Belos.

The collector looked at Raine. When Raine finally spoke their voice is different.

"I had no ideas that she had a child."spat Belos

"That's Belos's voice and he's taken over Raine." gasped Lilith

The collector glared at puppet Rain and said "So the liar is back. And he's lying to me again." Mad Eda has let go of Luz and Dominic. She closed her eyes to talk to the owl beast.

"Owl beast I'm sorry about. What happened on the day of unity. But please alow me to go harpy one last time. So I can take out Belos once and for all. I'm tired of him messing with. My family and the ones that I care about." begged Eda

When she opened her eyes she can tell that she is in her harpy form. She flew up and grabbed "Raine." And flew away from The collector and the group. Mad The collector spat "I can't believe that I was lied to again!" King went up to The collector and said "It's ok buddy evil adults like Belos will lie to kids. Now you can make things right."

"How do I do that?" asked The collector

"Well you can have the Boiling Isles go back to normal. And you can turn all the people. That you turned into puppets back to normal. When ever you want to play. I will play with you where people won't get hurt." explained King

"That sounds good and I could have. A open portal so that. Luz and her mom can come and go as they please." stated The collector

Meanwhile Eda is fighting "Raine." Still angry Eda spat "Belos if you're not a coward. Get out of Raine and fight me!" Belos chuckled and replied "If you aren't a coward. You'll fight me as I am" Eda glared at him and then said "Raine if you're in there. Please forgive me I need to get. Rid of Belos once and for all." With that said Eda and Belos started fighting. Ten minutes later they are over the forest by the Titan's head. Belos sent a blast of magic at Eda. It hit Eda's wing damaging her wing. She is struggling to stay air born. Belos took advantage of this and hit Eda's wing again.

Now Eda is falling toward the ground. And Belos is hitting her with blasts of magic. Dominic who has been watching the fight. Can see his mother falling.

"No mommy Oscar, Owlbert where ever you are help Mommy!" yelled Dominic

Dominic palisman turned from wood to a real bird. Oscar flew as fast as he can toward Eda. In Eda's hair Owlbert heard Dominic. So he flew out of Eda's hair. And grabbed a hold of her. The little owl did his best to help. Keep Eda air born. She is helping by flapping her good wing. But she is even having trouble with her good wing. Suddenly Owlbert lost his grip on Eda. He looked and saw Oscar coming. The two birds flew toward Eda to help her. But it's to late Eda has hit the trees. She went through the trees her body hitting branches and limbs. Soon she hit the ground with a thud.

Dominic can see Oscar and Owlbert but not his mother.

"Mommy no!" yelled Dominic

The others looked and can see "Raine", Oscar, and Owlbert. But they don't see Eda.

"Oh no I think Eda is down I don't see her." fretted Luz

"You all go find her and I. Will force Belos out of Rain and kill him." suggested The collector

Everyone got their staffs and carried the ones. That either don't have a staff. Or don't know how to fly yet. They went down to where they think Eda landed. Oscar returned to his staff and turned to wood. And Owlbert lead the group to Eda. They found her laying on the ground. She's no longer in her harpy form. They rushed up to Eda.

"Eda are you ok?" asked Amity

"No... I'm..not..I..can't... breath.. And..I.. can't..move." replied Eda

"Don't worry we'll go find help." offered Gus

"Who are we going to find? Most of the people are either puppets or are hiding." asked Hunter

Meanwhile The collector forced Belos out of Raine's body. He killed Belos and took Raine to the archives. Then he found the group and asked "Did you find the owl lady? Is she ok?"

"Yes we found her and. No she isn't ok she's hurt." replied Lilith

The collector went up to Eda and said "I'll do what I can to help her." He put his hands over Eda frowned and said "This could take a while. She has quite a few broken bones. And she's bleeding on the inside." With that said The collector used his powers to help Eda. As he did Eda would grunt and groan in pain. Now the group is wondering if they are doing the right thing. Lilith was about to say something. But The collector stopped and said "I healed her broken bones, repaired any damage. I also stopped the bleeding on the inside. She's in pain and weak. It will be up to her if she makes it."

Carefully Lilith picked up Eda and the group went to the owl house. True to his word The collector. Returned the Boiling Isles and the people to normal. Hooty is back where he belongs. And they carefully put Eda in her nest. Then they got everything that ws taken out of the house back. Las but not least they managed to find some food for the kitchen. With food and supplies. Tired and hungry they made something to eat. Then they went to bed early. It was touch and go for Eda that night,. In the morning after having breakfast. The group got to work putting the house back together. Lilith is in Eda's room putting Eda's things back in her room.

Owlbert is sitting on a perch watching over Eda. Eda can hear someone in the room.

"Who's...there?"asked Eda

Lilith went up to Eda's nest. She can see that Eda's eyes are slightly open. She knelt down and replied It's just me Eda."

"Lilith...I'm..not..going...to..make...it.I..don't...have...the...strength..to..make it." informed Eda weakly

"Don't talk like that Eda. You'll be alright. Plus you have King and Dominic to think about." fretted Lilith

Eda took a shaky breath in then breath out. Then she replied "I...know...but...I..just..can't...make..it. So...Lilith...please..take...care..of.. them.. for...me...If..you...need help..just ask...mother..And...Owlbert...can...do...as he...wishes." With tears in her eyes Lilith nodded and stated "I promise that I will take great. Care of my nephews."

"Thank...you...Lilly." stated Eda weakly

Lilith nodded again and watched. As Eda closed her eyes. With tears in her eyes Lilith knew what she had to do. Lilith left Eda's room and went down stairs. She found everyone and said "We might want to spend time with Eda after lunch."

"What makes you say that Lilith." asked Amity

"I just spoke with her. And she's saying that she doesn't have the strength. to make it." cried Lilith

So after lunch they all went up stairs to Eda's room. Eda's eyes are still closed. She's still breathing and she does look very weak.
