The Potter triplets, Rigel, and Remus were walked down the train station to abroad the Hogwarts Express. The Potter triplets were in awe since it's only been a month since Harry, Ashton, and Alyssa was introduced to magic and their unknown wizard family. And they couldn't be any happier. However, there were times Pandora would be like Walburga Black, in Rigel's words. And that scares the Potter triplets, Rigel, and Remus. Remus was always there to calm Pandora down. Now, the children were going to be gone, starting Hogwarts.
Remus sighed, eyeing everyone in the station before turning to Rigel. Harry, Ashton, and Alyssa were behind him. They also turned towards Remus, who told Rigel, "Even if they don't get into Slytherin, protect your cousins, Rigel."
Rigel nodded his head since he became the "older sibling" for the Potter siblings. Remus hugs the four children before pushing them towards the train.
"How will you protect us if we're not in the same house?" Alyssa asked.
Rigel shrug, "I don't know. However, I will find a way since we're family and family should always be there for each other. Since I'm in my second year, I'm telling you this. Professor McGonagall is a very strict professor. She's strict because she wants what is best for you. Don't be afraid to ask questions. Professor Snape is very bias. His always giving Slytherin points even if they don't deserve the points. If Snape ask you a question that you don't know, don't be an arse. Answer it as best as you could even if he's very rude towards you. Heck, he might take points from whatever house you're in for no reason. In my opinion, Professor Dumbledore doesn't care for his students. I don't know if it's because of his age or he's getting tired. Don't be alone with him. Mum doesn't trust him. If Dumbledore wants to see you, ask for yourHead of House to go with you. If someone bullied you, don't be a stitch. But don't be encouraged to fight back. Try to have them follow you and allow a professor, Prefect, orHead Boy or Girl to find this. And hopefully, they will do something. Sometimes it works. Sometimes it doesn't. Just don't get in trouble since mum will not be happy. I usually keep to myself."
Rigel opened one door to a compartment, allowing his cousins in first before they sat down. Rigel and Harry next to each other while Ashton and Alyssa sat next to each other.
"I'm so nervous," said Alyssa, biting her fingernails, "What if we have no friends?!"
"You don't go to school to make friends," commented Rigel, "You go to learn. Friends are a bonus. But your education is more important than having friends. Last year, I didn't have friends, but that didn't mean I didn't talk to others. I don't see the point of making friends when they could easily betray you. It's not just friends that will abandoned them. Like we heard, everyone in mum's life abandoned her when she was forced to marry my dad. Remember, no one is who they seem."
The triplets nodded their heads, listening to what their cousin was telling them. They were new here and nee to magic. It was better to listen to their Slytherin cousin. The triplets wanted to know more about the magic world.
Maybe ten minutes later, the door to the compartment opened, showing a boy with red hair, freckles, and a big nose. His eyes drifted around before seeing the colors of Rigel's robes.
"Slytherin," the boy said in a rude tone, "I'm not sitting in the same compartment as a Slytherin."
He shut the door before walking away. Harry, Ashton, and Alyssa looked at their cousin confused.
"Don't worry about that. The whole school believes Slytherin is evil. But they don't realize that someone from Gryffindor turned bad. Anyone could be evil, not just students from Slytherin. If they bother you in Slytherin, then I will speak with them. No one will mess with my family."
Rigel pulled out one of his second year books, which made Harry follow his lead. He pulled out his first year book. Ashton and Alyssa decided to play Rock, Paper, Scissors. Alyssa and Ashton were on their second game of Rock, Paper, Scissors when the door opened again. This time was two people. A girl and a boy. The boy Alyssa saw before, but she don't know who the girl was.
The boy's - Neville Longbottom's - eyes widened when he saw Alyssa.
"Alyssa!" Neville said a little too excited before his face turned a dark red.
Alyssa giggled at Neville, "Hi, Neville."
"Wait," Ashton said confused, "How did you two know each other?"
Harry, Ashton, and Rigel felt protection over Alyssa since she was the youngest out of the four of them. And she (besides Pandora) was the only girl in the house. They felt like they need to protect her from anyone (mostly boys) and they were not going to back down all because she wants to try to be friends with boys.
"When I was shopping for my books, Neville and I ran into each other at the bookstore. Neville, it's great to see you again. What's wrong?"
Instead of Neville answering, the bushy haired girl replied in a bossy tone, "He lost his toad. I was helping him search for his toad."
Rigel rolled his eyes behind his book, mumbling under his breath. Everyone heard hims mumbling, having their eyes drifted towards him. Neville tensed up when he saw the robes Rigel was wearing. The girl narrowed her eyes, not liking the robes either since she read all of her books and extra, finding out the Slytherin house is a evil house.
"Oh, I didn't know a Slytherin was in this compartment," said the girl, not sounding happy, "Did you know--"
"No one asked for your uninterested opinion, buck teeth," Rigel cut her off, glaring at her, "I don't care what you and others think. I'm an Slytherin, and I'm proud. So, if you want to shareyour statuson Slytherins, but find someone who cares since no one in this compartment cares."
There was hurt in her eyes before she raced off. Rigel, not feeling guilty, glanced back at his book. He could feel the eyes of his cousins and Neville on him. But he didn't care.
Alyssa looked back at Neville, "Do you want to sit with us?"
Neville glanced at Rigel before looking back at Alyssa, "I can't. I need to find my toad. Sorry."
He left too quickly for Alyssa to reply. Her eyes glanced down. Her brothers and cousin saw the hurt in her eyes. This made Rigel feel guilty. He knew his cousins never had a friend and from the time of Alyssa's voice, she wanted to be friends with Neville Longbottom.
"I'm sorry, Aly. If people find out we're cousins, I don't think people will want to be your friends."
Alyssa stood up, leaving the compartment without saying a word. She was more upset than angry. She loves her cousin Rigel, but if this was going to happen everytime, it was going to hurt Alyssa. All she wanted was a friend who would like her for she is.
She was keeping her head low when she ran into three people, who seemed to be in their first year of Hogwarts. Alyssa and the three students were pushed into an empty compartment by the older students.
"Sorry," she said shyly, "I didn't mean to run into you three like that."
"Oh, that's fine," one of the girls (who seemed be the leader), "I'm Rosier. Druella Rosier. I was named after a grandmother I have never met. I go by Ella. I'm a half-blood. This is my cousin - Wynonna Lestrange. She's a pureblood. And this is a Muggleborn named Audrey Perry. She goes by Faith. We all are starting our first year of Hogwarts."
A soft smile formed on Alyssa's face, "I'm Alyssa Potter. I'm a half-blood. I'm also starting Hogwarts."
Druella (Ella) Rosier and Wynonna Lestrange gasped in shock, eyeing Alyssa with wide eyes. Alyssa thought they were going to say something about her brother Harry since he was the only one to survive the killing curse.
Before she can say a word, Ella wrapped her arm around Alyssa's shoulders, saying, "Everyone heard of Harry Potter. My dad was trying to search the other Potter children up, but it was only about Harry Potter. My dad and I knew Harry Potter had a sister and brother, but there wasn't much about you two. Admitting, I don't care for Harry Potter. I always wanted to know his sister! We can be friends! No! We are friends! Starting today!"
Alyssa gave the other girls a real smile. This was Alyssa chance to have friends who wants her, not her brother. Maybe coming to Hogwarts was the best thing to happen to her. But a voice in the back of her mind was telling her that the girls will turn their backs on her if they learn that she's a werewolf. Would that be true?
