"Alyssa!"
She was pulled into a tight hug by her brothers. She hugged them back before the siblings pulled away from each other. They were standing in behind a set of doors, waiting to go into the great hall. Alyssa knew she made her brothers and cousin worried because she didn't return to the compartment. If she did, then she wouldn't have met Druella Rosier, Wynonna Lestrange, and Faith Perry.
Alyssa stepped away from her brothers, smiling happily, "I made friends, Hazza and Sky! This is Druella, Wynonna, and Faith!"
Harry and Ashton glanced over at their sister's friends, not knowing what to think. They always want their sister to have friends, and they were happy for Alyssa. They just don't want to be forgotten. Plus, they're worried about Alyssa's secret and worry her friends will abandoned her because she's a werewolf.
Before the brothers could say a word, the doors opened and the first year students were led to the front of the great hall. Everyone was quiet in the hall, watching the newest students. They were stopped near the front. In front of them was a stool with a hat on it.
The Potter triplets were not standing by each other again. Harry Potter was standing by his new friend Ron Weasley. Ashton Potter was standing next to Draco Malfoy and two other boys. Alyssa was standing near her new friends - Druella Rosier, Wynonna Lestrange, and Faith Perry. They, along with the other first year students, were waiting to see what will happen.
"Once I call your name, please come and sit on the stool," said the professor before she said the first name, "Abbott, Hannah."
A student walked up to the stool, sitting on it while she first the students. The professor placed the hat on Hannah Abbott before the hat shouted, "Hufflepuff!"
Alyssa glanced at her friends with away on her face after Hannah Abbott's robes turn to the Hufflepuff colors. Same with the other girls even though Ella and Wynonna knew this was going to happen. Like most purebloods and some half-bloods, Ella (half-blood) and Wynonna (pureblood) lives in the Muggle world. Wynonna Lestrange lives with her Aunt Andromeda (Pureblood - Slytherin) and Uncle Ted (Muggleborn - Ravenclaw), who lives in the Muggle world (I think he's the same Ted from the first HP book. If I'm wrong, please tell me).
A girl named Hermione Granger was called and she was placed in Gryffindor.
About a dozen or so students were called before the professor said loudly, "Lestrange, Wynonna."
The whole hall went silent. Alyssa, Ella, and Faith glanced at Wynonna, who was biting her lip before stepping forward. She stepped towards the stool, and sat down. The professor placed the hat on her head.
Everyone thought the hat was going to shout Slytherin since Wynonna was the "missing" daughter of Bellatrix and Rodolphus Lestrange, but surprisedly it didn't. It took the hat three minutes to answer, and when the hat did answer, the hat yelled out, "Hufflepuff!"
Wynonna Lestrange was a Hufflepuff just like her cousin - Nymphadora Tonks.
Neville Longbottom and Draco Malfoy were called after Wynonna. Neville was in Gryffindor and Draco was in Slytherin.
"Perry, Audry."
The Muggleborn stepped forward, sitting on the stool. It took the hat a moment for yelling, "Hufflepuff!"
Audrey Faith Perry (who goes by Faith) sat next to Wynonna, who was smiling at her friend. Some students caught this, making them look at the two with weird looks. That's because the daughter of Bellatrix and Rodolphus Lestrange were friends with a Muggleborn.
Now, it was the Potters turn to be sorted into a house.
"Potter, Alyssa."
Alyssa didn't move, having Ella push her forward. The redhead girl walked up to the stool. Her hazel eyes met the professor, who seems to tensed up. Alyssa sat down on the stool and the professor placed the hat on her head.
First she heard silence before a voice filled her head,You will do great in Gryffindor. Just like your parents before you.
I want to be in the same house as my two friends, said Alyssa, thinking about Faith and Wynonna.
Yes, your friends. Your friends will help you through the years, said the hat before yelling, "Hufflepuff!"
The Hufflepuff table clapped, and some cheered since they got the sister of the survivor. With a smile on her face, Alyssa sat down next to Wynonna, who gave her a high five. Same with Faith. Her eyes drifted to Harry and Ashton, who smiled at her. Then her eyes drifted to Neville, who seemed to have a betray look on his face. She tilted her head slightly, not know why he was staring at her like that. Neville looked away from her, making her feel sad.
She was kicked out of her mind when she heard, "Potter, Harry."
Harry Potter glanced around before walking up to the stool. He sat down on the stool and the professor placed the hat on his head. Harry knew his cousin was in Slytherin, but he didn't want to go into Slytherin after what his new friend - Ron Weasley - was telling him.
Are you sure? Slytherin would be a great place for you, Mr. Potter,said the hat.
No Slytherin, replied Harry.
Surprisedly the hat listen, yelling out, "Gryffindor!"
The Gryffindor table cheered very loud and two voices could be heard, "We got Potter!" Harry sat down, smiling at the table with his eyes drifting towards Ashton, who has yet be sorted. His brother nodded, proudly.
Now, it was Ashton turn. His sister was in Hufflepuff and his brother was Gryffindor. There could be a chance he could be in one of those house, however, he knew he could end up in Ravenclaw or Slytherin. He turned to the professor, who said, "Potter, Skyler."
He rolled his eyes at his first name, but didn't say a word. He stepped forward and before the hat could touch his head, the hat yelled, "Slytherin!"
Everyone was silent. A Potter in Slytherin. The survivor's triplet brother was in Slytherin. How could this happen? No one seemed to want to cheer. However, one Slytherin stood up, yelling excitedly, "He's my cousin! Come over here, Ash!"
Ashton looked up, smiling at Rigel. The hat was taken off his head before he raced over to the Slytherin table and sat next to Rigel Black. At least one person was happy for him.
For the fifth time, the hall became quiet in when the professor said loudly, "Rosier, Druella."
Ella stepped forward, not caring what people were going to say. Her dad - a pureblood wizard - told her to not care what people say or do or think. He used to work for Voldemort before he safe a Muggle (Ella's mother) from Bellatrix Lestrange. From one look at the Muggle, her father fell in love with her mother. He ran away from the Wizardly world to have a family.
The hat barely touch her head before it shouted, "Hufflepuff!"
With a smirk on her face, Ella raced down to her friends, who were the only ones clapping for Ella. They didn't care since they were friends and nothing was going to change that.
After Ella was sorted, a few more students were placed into a house. Like Ron Weasley, who was placed in Gryffindor.
After dinner, all of the houses were in their dorm rooms.
In Hufflepuff girls dorm, Alyssa was sitting on her bed while her friends were on their beds. The look on Neville's face was still burn in her mind. And she doesn't know why. She thought they were going to be friends, even though they were in different houses. But Alyssa felt like Neville didn't want to be her friend anymore. She was hurting over that. She decided to lay down and try to get that thought out of her mind. Hopefully, she will know why Neville looked betrayed by her friendship with Wynonna.
In the Slytherin boys dorm, Ashton decided to not speak with anyone at the moment. They were treating him like dirt and he doesn't know why. At least, Draco was being civil with him. Maybe tomorrow at breakfast, either Rigel or Draco can tell him why people were shocked that he's in Slytherin.
In Gryffindor boys dorm, Harry was getting ready for bed when he felt someone behind him. He turned around to see Neville Longbottom standing there with a hurt look on his face.
"What's wrong?"
"Is Alyssa friends with Wynonna Lestrange?"
Harry nodded, "Yeah. She is. Ashton and I met her three friends. If you want to be friends with them, why don't you ask them?"
Neville shook his head quickly before going to his bed. Harry stood there, confused. He wasn't sure why Neville seems hurt. Harry felt like it had something to do with Alyssa's and Wynonna's friendship, but what?
Harry decided to shrug it off and head for bed. Tomorrow was going to be someone new for the Potter triplets. Hopefully nothing will turn bad for them and their sibling bond will stay strong through the years.
