The following morning after the attack, as the bright sun rose over the horizon, spreading a warm blanket across the Pridelands. Duchess Rosa headed in the direction of the Outlands.

While her unconscious adopted daughter was being watched over by her sister, Patty and her second eldest daughter Marisol. Her third eldest daughter, Christina was looking after Liz and Zuri and her very youngest, Afua.

Though Rosa has five daughters and a son, Sherise doesn't count at the moment, but only three of her daughters are fathered by Scar.

Zira and Marisol are young adults born in the same litter.

Christina was a result of mating with a passing rogue who is Lieutenant Lewis's uncle.

Even though Liz and Zuri were born in the same litter, only Zuri is fathered by Scar. A mating before Nala returned with Simba. Later in the same night Rosa mated with Tojo which resulted in her last daughter, Liz.

As for her only son, Afua, he was the result of a mating with a prince.

The tannish lioness looked around before crossing the border, she didn't want anyone to know where she was going. So as everyone was busy comforting Ansel's mate and daughter, Tesha and Tiifu. It was the perfect opportunity to search for her blasted daughter.

"Zira!" Rosa roared out. "Get out here, now!"

The pale tan lioness eventually exited the dust cloud to roll her dark red eyes at the sight of her mother. "What are you doing here, 'mother'."

Rosa straightened her body and lifted her head. "Hello to you too, 'daughter'."

Zira laughed, shaking her head. "I stopped being your daughter the moment I rosed above you!"

"Being your father's breeding pet is nothing to be proud of Zira!" Rosa growled in disgust. "Many of the pride believes that Nuka was born sickly because of the drought but we who know better know it's because my grandson's father is also his grandfather."

"So, you disowned me!?" Zira growled. "Zuri and Liz, are your new favorite tools!"

Rosa sneered at her daughter. "Mheetu, Nala, Marsiol and Zuri are the only daughters of Scar's that don't have negative views. With that I had hoped to gain something with a betrothal with the princes. But that little stunt you pulled yesterday caused King Simba and Queen Nala to betroth Prince Kopa to Prince Cadel's daughter to establish an alliance between the Pridelands and the Avalon pride. Also, to keep the youngest prince from your claws."

Zira growled. "Of course. It's my fault, everything is my fault!"

"Well, this time it is, and you're lucky there's not much King Simba can do since you're already exiled!" Rosa sighed heavily. "I suggest you go back to the Outlands and try to not make any more trouble."

Zira stood quiet for a long moment before glaring at her mother. "I see where you stand."

Rosa's ears flickered as she breathed out her dark pink nose. "Look Zira, I don't know where I went wrong but I don't want you to get hurt or worse."

"Geez, thanks." Zira snarled sarcastically before turning and quickly running off, rudely dismissing her mother.

Rosa sighed deeply before turning and heading back to priderock.

(Later In The Afternoon)

King Simba was beyond enraged. How dare Zira! He should of killed her but his priority was making sure that Kiara and young Sherise were alright.

"Calm down, Simba." Sarabi approached her son with hurt orange eyes. "I know you're angry but it'll do no good to start a war."

"Why wouldn't it?" Simba, Sarabi and the rest of the small Royal Council turned to see a orange-tan caoted lioness entered the old abandoned Lion Guard lair. "Zira attacked not only a commenor child but the future Queen. Killed young Lord Kwen and Captin Ansel. Oh!" Hawa exclaimed with a claw raised. "Not to mention, all of these attacks are in the name of said crazy uncle."

Queen-Mother Sarabi glared at Hawa. "No one asked you! And Sherise isn't a commenor! She's a Lady with a rank of nobility under Duchess Rosa!"

Jesús took a deep breath before he cleared his throat earning everyone's attention. "I disagree with you, Hawa. My sister is too busy overseeing my neice to do much of anything, as Kiara has short-term memory lost. If King Simba goes to war with Zira and her pride, he could die and that's not good. The current males in the pride doesn't have the training to rule in Kiara's stead as regent and without a male on the throne we're going to be a target for whoever wants to take over the Pridelands."

Sarabi smiled proudly at her pale beige pelted nephew. "I couldn't of say it better myself. We need to worry about the Pridelands. The animals need confirmation that things are safe.. even if they may not be. We do not need panic to rise."

Simba sighed heavily, his shoulders slumped. "You're right mother. I.. just wish I knew whatv to do."

Everyone in the cave just watched as the king walked out of the old Lion Guard Lair.

...

Queen Nala's older half-sister, Naira couldn't pinpoint a emotion. She enjoyed the turmoil her sister was going through and if her plan goes according. Nala will suffer even more.

To the creamy lioness she believes it was unfair that she was overlooked and Nala was picked to be queen. When Nala's father killed Mufasa and for a trade for prey Naira's own father was sent to the kingdom of Avalon in a exchange.

Naira looked into the cave where the pride was settled in before following her brother-in-law. Which was to the gorge where King Mufasa was killed.

"Simba,"

Simba jumped before smiling lightly at the creamy lioness. "Naira. You startled me."

Naira stepped closer and looked below to see it was a preety long way down.

Moving her bluish eyes to the gold male next to her. "I only came to check on a friend. It must not be easy. With my sister blaming you and all."

Simba snapped his head up at that. "What? Nala doesn't-"

Naira shook her head before laying it on the king's shoulder. "She hasn't said anything but I see it. Haven't you? I don't believe it but as she believes, Zira attacked Kiara because you killed her father... their father."

Simba gasped as he listened. Does Nala really feel that way? He was so confused.

Naira grinned before brushing her body against the gold lion's. "My King. You're stressed. You're grieving. Let me help you relieved some of that?"

Simba knew that he shouldn't. But for that one moment, he threw knowledge of right and wrong away. He submitted to his selfish desires and mated his sister-in-law.
