Swords, arrows, and zappers chapter 13-golem of war
This chapter will have Toma and Mashiro deal with sherry and her goals.
As I do the final arc of this part of the story
I will cover episodes 21-24 and close out the first season with this and take a break to pick up a few others stories.
But I will get into that later on
Toma pov
it was the morning before I returned to school, and I had to figure out what Index would do while I was at school. I was thinking of asking Mashiro if Index could spend time at her place hanging out with Al and her cats. But even if I was dating the girl, I couldn't just yet the little nun uses her place without asking. So, I decided after school I would call my lover and see what to do.
It was on the way to my school; I ran into her sister, and she mostly asked me out the date I hate with her sister. Then at school I got to see my small teacher and her equally small car. But unlike the car I saw Mashiro's friend Al driving, it was just as small on the inside. She told me about her study of AIM fields, and I asked her how a car could be bigger inside than outside. She didn't know the answer, but I only guessed it was a kind of strange magic.
Mashiro pov
It was between classes when I learned about a new magician in the city and that I may need to exert control over the city and magic usage soon enough. But I decided to wait for now and see how bad this magician really was. I knew my magic was pretty much God age stuff and could counter her if need be. But I figured it would be best to try and find Index soon before his person made it to her.
Toma pov
When I started class, I found out we would get a new student but the person that came in ended up being Index and I knew she wasn't the transfer as she got sent away. But Aisa ended up being transfer as I knew I had to deal with Index somehow.
Mashiro pov
I decided to send the Okita alter I used to help my sister for the hunt and put her in Annabeth form to blend into Toma's school. I ended up finding out Index was terrible with tech and couldn't even use the food service. But a new girl ended up helping the nun and her name was Hyoka Kazakiri. It was then the girl kept Index busy and explained how things worked to her.
Toma pov
When I ended up finding Index, I found her in the middle of changing with a much bustier girl. I soon learned who the new girl was and that she was Index's friend. It wasn't long until I tried to explain things to the little nun, and we ended up found by my teacher as I tried to explain things to her as the busty girl vanished, but at least my teacher got Index under control. It was after I finished class, I promised to take the girls to a good place to eat then figured I needed more money and ran into Aisa while getting some. It was then she told me about the girl and how she scored high on tests, but nobody knew her. Aisa then told me the girl was connected to imaginary numbers and that she was in a very strange place in said school. it wasn't long after that we went to the underground mall to try and get food while the strange girl seemed scared of me.

I soon learned the girl was strange via following Toma then had my servant check the teacher's lounge to find out more info as I wanted to BB to try and learn more about the imaginary number school district and how I may be able to check it out. but while listening in on the teachers, I learned there were two intruders in the city. It wasn't long after that, I was walking I ran into the magician and saw her get into a fight with Kuroko and manage to catch the girl using a golem, but my sister managed to save her using railgun. But the chaos gave the strange woman the chance to escape and cast a strange spell.
It wasn't long after that, I got a call from Aisa saying, "I was having trouble contacting Toma, I could use your help miss Campione." I replied "I have a servant already hunting them down
Toma pov
Our first stop was an arcade and Index was mystified but I had to leave them to pick up my phone. I just heard static and a voice that sounded vaguely like Aisa as I heard what could have been the strange girl's name, but the phone disconnected, and I discovered I had no bars.
I soon looked for the girls to find them changing in a photo booth and when bad luck hit me, I the covering ripped, revealed the girls in sexy cosplay and then the nun bit me. After that the girls shared the photos and then they mentioned a strange voice in their heads, but I heard nothing due to my Imagine breaker. Then a strange girl from judgement came and revealed a terrorist was in the mall and we needed to get out soon.
It was after she left, that we heard a voice saying, "I found you." Then I spotted an eyeball that my nun friend pointed out was a golem. We soon figured out it was a sorcerer as the voice came back and taunted us. it was then Index and I fought over how to deal with the sorcerer and ended up knocking each other out.

I soon had Annabeth find Kuroko and Mikoto and guide them to the groups together. Then on coming together Index and Mikoto got into a fight over Toma as they both revealed he rescued them in his own ways. Toma then reveals the issue as both Mikoto and Index fought over to save Toma first. The girls then kept fighting over Toma until Kuroko took them both away, as Annabeth hid using her invisibility cap as I prepared to switch with her at any time needed.
It was after that Toma ran off to find the sorcerer as my servant followed behind and I prepared to switch with her. it wasn't much longer that Toma made it to the battlelines to fight the golem as anti-skill was pretty much useless. I met the girl and she revealed herself to be part of Index's church, her name was Sherry Cromwell and that she was trying to start a war. It wasn't much longer that that Hyoka came to try and help. But only ended up getting hit and revealing inside her head was a strange object. It was then the girl ran to the golem and ended up smacked down but seemed mostly fine. If not in the middle of a mental break. It was after that I learned the real target was my new friend as she ran off and Sherry and her golem chased after.
Toma pov
It was with a hole in the ceiling, I got a phone call from my teacher telling me about Hyoka and that she wasn't showing up on any cameras. Then the teacher guessed she was connected to the field my teacher was studying. Then stated the girl was a being born from all the AIM fields. I then knew I needed to try and save the girl the best I could as my teacher was happy with my choice.
It was a few minutes later that I caught up to both girls and managed to stop the golem with my hand just in time to save her. My hand soon destroyed the golem as Sherry drew a circle to reform it right away. it was then anti-skill joined me in the fight and used machine guns to rip the golem apart little by little. But the sorcerer soon used a spell to fix her golem. I knew I just needed them to make an opening so I could dispel the golem again. I soon punched the woman in the face, but she then used the chaos to escape the scene and let the golem fall to piece again. It was after that; I figured the woman was after Index.
Mashiro pov
At the surface, I met up with Mikoto and Index and both were in the heat with the nun having to explain to my sister how her habit was held together with cloths pins. Index didn't want to remember how it happened, but Al told me Toma's hand shredded the robes. They chatted in fun about Toma without knowing, I had sex with him already. It wasn't much longer, until my sister's field scared the cat away and I had to help her chase the cat down, due to Index being a high value target.
Toma pov
While I was stuck in the mall, I talked with the construct girl about the fact Sherry was mostly looking for a high value target to use to start a war. I had to tell her both her and Index were equally high value targets. My new friend was willing to help Index escape and still called herself a monster. It wasn't much longer than she took a tunnel to try and find the enemy sorcerer.
I knew I had to race to make it out of the mall and try and stop Sherry before it was too late. But on the way to my friends, Shery caught up to me and I had to ask her why. She told me about how they learned about how they learned of the fact the mixing magic and science destroyed the body. she told me her golem used to me a man that was destroyed by mixing science and magic. But I knew of two cases in which science and magic could mix, I tried to bring up both the cases I knew and she said "if are about to mention the two Campiones, they are the rarest of rare cases. Most people couldn't survive the mixing of science and magic." I knew she wanted to scare both sides to prevent further mixing of magic and science.
It was then she tried to kill me by bringing down the tunnel and I remembered what Index told me and how to force this woman to stop. Then when she was shocked, I gave her another good hit to the face. I then tried to talk the woman into stopping the plan by, but she just called me the pawn of the Campione. But I knew I had shaken her will to fight and managed to deal a blow that was close to bringing her down. but in her last words before passing out fully she gave control to the golem to crush Index.
Mashiro pov
It wasn't long after we caught the cat that the golem attacked Index and I couldn't use my more explosive noble phantasms to fight. But the nun showed she could fight back against the golem by disrupting the control spells. But she could only do so much to fight back as it switched to self-control, and I couldn't risk blowing the golem up. I then figured the best method was to try and wrap the golem in chains until another heavy hitter could aid us. I knew I would give access to my enhanced abilities if a god was at least near or the moon was out or I was near a source of water or I could access a machine to help but in the placing I was at I couldn't use high value noble phantasms, but then came Hyoka to save the two of us just in time.
But after she dealt a major blow to the golem, it started to take in more material to regenerate itself. But the brunet girl showed us how she could fight better than I could in my current state in said battle she began to really damage the golem. It was then I took the chance to call Al and say, "I need you to my location soon, I need magus mode." She replied "I can't use the car to max potential without you in it. so you will have to hold off as long as you can."
Toma pov
It wasn't much longer that I made it to Mashiro, Hyoka and Index fighting the golem and I made just in time to make a punch that left the golem as rubble. After that Mikoto, followed by Al and Kuroko arrived and broke the tension. I then followed Hyoka with Index in tow and I convinced the girl that she had friends and a meaning to live.
Mashiro pov
It was after that; I got a call from Toma's classmate telling me that Aleister might be planning something that I will have to get involved with in the future. It was after that, I took Toma to a clinic and talked with Hyoka, she told me what she was and that Toma might be something beyond just an esper. But wasn't sure what. It was then she vanished and told us she would materialize again in the future. Then I had to make sure Index had enough to do during the day so she wouldn't be bored. So I bought a game system and set up a tv with a cable package in Toma's room and did the same thing for my place along with giving Index directions and a key. With that I hoped peace would last long enough in this city, but I wasn't sure how long it would.
Chapter end
Next chapter won't be for a few months but next week I will retouch on the story on Shirou daughters as the battle through a board game future world and a cursed summer camp.
Then two week later I will back up a story I left off a few months ago
But first Rayla , Callum and their friend will unit in the earth dragon's lair and have to show him they new power they gained as another group arrives for the same treasure they seek
