We were shown a shot of a manor in rural Ireland that stood right next to the sea, with a beautiful rainbow lighting up the sky in the background. The camera crew was doing the last checks before they could start filming as our three hosts, Robert, Patrick and Gretchen were crouched beneath a camera.

Robert was wearing his black bandana with skulls and hatchets on his head, but the rest of his outfit was a lot more formal, as he was now wearing a black three-piece suit with a white dress shirt and a light blue tie as well as black dress shoes.

Patrick was wearing a black flat cap with a pair of purple aviator shades, a black leather trench coat over a white dress shirt, white jeans and brown alligator shoes as a formal attire.

Gretchen wasn't a big fan of formal wear, but since the hosts were instructed to wear something fancy for the first episode, she chose to wear a white turtleneck sweater underneath an unzipped black leather jacket with stonewashed black jeans and white trainers.

"And...action!" The cameraman spoke as he began filming, and we were shown a shot of the front of the manor that the season would take place in. Robert, Patrick and Gretchen then proceeded to jump into frame.

"Aye there, ladies an' gentlemen an' kiddies o' all ages! We're comin' at ya live from McReary Manor, somewhere in rural Ireland! I'm Robert O'Niall!" Robert introduced himself.

"I'm Patrick O'Niall!" Patrick introduced himself.

"An' I'm Gretchen O'Niall, an' we're goin' ta be yer hosts fer Season 5 o' Total Drama!" Gretchen finished after introducing herself.

"Last season, on Total Drama: Revenge o' the Island, Chris McLean returned ta Camp Wawanakwa which, since its last appearance in Total Drama Island, 'ad been rented ta some biohazardous waste removal company, which caused the wildlife of Camp Wawanakwa ta turn into mutants. Chris then proceeded ta invite 13 new contestants ta compete at the newly mutated Camp Wawanakwa fer the million dollar prize. By the end o' the season, 'owever, Chris' countless crimes 'ad caught up with 'im, an' 'e was thrown into prison." Robert narrated as footage from Revenge of the Island played, describing the events that Robert was talking about before switching back to the present day.

"Which brings us ta Season 5 o' Total Drama. So here's the deal: 30 new contestants 'ave signed up ta spend 8-10 weeks at this lavish old manor in rural Ireland. They'll be divided into three teams, an' every three days, they'll 'ave ta compete in a challenge where two teams will win immunity, while the team that finishes last in every challenge 'as ta vote out one o' their own team members." Patrick then continued to explain before the scene switched to Robert, Patrick and Gretchen standing at the elimination ceremony area in the backyard of the manor.

"The elimination ceremonies will be 'eld out 'ere in the backyard o' the manor, where every safe contestant will receive a basket o' breadsticks." Gretchen then explained as she held up a basket of breadsticks. "In the end though, only one o' these 30 contestants will remain, an' said contestant will be rewarded with cheesy tabloid fame an' the famed million dollar prize!" The muscular Irish girl continued as Robert and Patrick held up a few tabloid magazines as well as the silver case with the million dollars inside.

The scene then switched back to the front of the manor, with Robert, Patrick and Gretchen standing there. "Who will outwit, outplay, an' outlast all their opponents in the most groundbreakin' show on television? Find out as we meet our 30 contestants an' welcome 'em ta..." Robert spoke before the three hosts began to speak in unison.

"Total...Drama...Luck o' the Irish!"

The show's intro then proceeded to play.

A spotlight rose into the air and was turned on. A camera then proceeded to pop out of a window, then out of a suit of armor and finally out of an old chest before a director's clapper was used.

Dear mom and dad, I'm doing fine

The camera then proceeded to zoom through the manor and past Robert, Patrick and Gretchen before going outside and heading underwater to find Olive swimming there as she encounters Becky sitting on the sea floor with her arms folded in front of her chest and a scowl on her face. Olive smiles and swims up to Becky, tapping her on the shoulder only for Becky to backhand her in the face, causing Olive to groan in pain before Becky turned to look at her and her eyes widened in shock at what she did.

You guys are on my mind

The camera then proceeded to rise to the surface of the water to find Juno and Melissa sitting in a rowing boat as they were chatting about something before their boat was promptly flipped over, soaking the two of them before Samantha popped up and laughed before putting on a cap as Miranda took over and shook her head in disapproval at what her sister did.

You asked me what I wanted to be,

The camera then zoomed out towards the backyard of the manor where Ingrid is gardening together with Letty and Levi, both of which were intently listening to Ingrid's detailed lecture on gardening before Joshua proceeded to come speeding towards the trio while flashing a V-sign at the camera and doing an ollie over Ingrid, Letty and Levi, causing the trio to fall onto their butts and look at the camera in annoyance before Jacque proceeded to hop over the garden that Ingrid, Letty and Levi were tending to and Rina proceeded to follow him by hopping over the garden as well in a graceful manner.

And I think the answer is plain to see

We then find ourselves in the billiards room of the manor where Jim and Rolo are playing a game of billiards against each other. Rolo proceeds to make the winning shot of the game as he grins and raises his arms in victory while Jim is fuming at his loss and tosses his cue stick aside while brooding with anger.

I wanna be famous!

The camera then zooms into the garage of the manor where Melinda is teaching Lucky how to repair a broken down car, but Lucky messes up and causes the car to catch on fire as Lucky sheepishly grins at Melinda as Melinda proceeds to facepalm in annoyance before Ayrton comes in and puts the fire out by throwing a bucket of water over it.

I wanna live close to the sun

The camera then pans upward towards a sitting room of the manor, where Clover is peacefully listening to ASMR videos on her earbuds with her eyes closed and a calm smile on her face before panning to the right to see May peacefully napping in another chair before she suddenly jolts awake and tries to get a hold of her surroundings.

Go pack your bags, 'cause I've already won

We then switch to a roof terrace where Viktor and Ashton are engaging in an arm wrestling match that Viktor proceeds to win. Taylor, who was watching the arm wrestle proceeds to take a huge sip of her bottle of vodka and cheers loudly for Viktor's victory over Ashton as Viktor triumphantly places his hands on his hips while Ashton shakes his head in disapproval of Viktor's arrogance.

Everything to prove, nothing in my way

We then find ourselves in the dining hall of the manor where Sabrina is listening to Gerald talking about something with a disinterested look on her face when Jon comes out of the kitchen and puts down two plates of food in front of Sabrina and Gerald, causing Sabrina to lighten up with glee as she begins eating the food in 10 seconds time, and just as Gerald is about to start eating his own food, Sabrina proceeds to eat it as well, causing Gerald to glare at Sabrina, who gulps nervously at this.

I'll get there one day

The camera then pans to the right to find Cana and Phillip holding a DJ party as Cana plays EDM music while Phillip dances to it, accidentally spilling his booze over Cana's DJ set, causing it to malfunction and explode, covering Cana and Phillip in soot as the duo's eyes widened in shock at what just happened.

'Cause I wanna be famous

We then find Remus outside the front door of the manor, practicing his swordfighting technique. Sammy was watching him do this and he gushed at Remus' actions while Sam stood next to her brother and shook her head in disapproval of his reaction.

Na na na na na na, na na na na na, na na na na na!

We then switch to a scene on the water surface, where multiple sets of two contestants are facing off against each other like in the Total Drama All-Stars intro; Sabrina vs Jim, Juno vs Viktor, May vs Jacque, Ashton vs Joshua and Clover vs Rina. Rowan then jumps into frame twirling a pair of nunchucks around while Chander pops up carrying a flaming baton that he proceeds to slam down onto the ground, covering the camera with a splash of water.

I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous!

As the water washes off the camera lens, we find Meghan adjusting the camera correctly as Telia makes sure there's nothing wrong with the camera before both girls moved out of the way to reveal Stanley standing there with a prideful grin on his face before being pushed out of the way by Alex.

I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous!

All the contestants then proceeded to gather in the backyard of the manor as Robert, Patrick and Gretchen showed up with breadsticks and all contestants proceeded to began whistling.

[Whistling] I wanna be, I wanna be famous

The camera then zoomed out to reveal the season's logo as the intro ended.

The scene then switched back to Robert, Patrick and Gretchen standing in front of the manor. "Welcome back ta Total Drama: Luck o' the Irish! It's time ta meet our first 15 contestants! Since the season will be takin' place in a manor, we asked our contestants to dress up fancy fer the first episode, so let's see who we got 'ere!" Patrick spoke as a taxi proceeded to pull up to the manor and the first contestant proceeded to step out of it.

The first contestant turned out to be Levi, who was dressed in a black dress shirt with a dark red tie, a dark red vest, a dark red opened tuxedo jacket with a small rose pinned on the right side of his chest, a pair of long black trousers and a pair of black leather shoes.

"Aye, yer Levi, aren't ye? Yer lookin' sharp, man!" Gretchen grinned as Levi walked up to her.

"Thanks, Gretchen. I do try to dress to impress, much like you do. You're probably my favorite member of The Irish Mob because you've got the vocals and the guitar skills down pat, and because you're not afraid of being who you want to be. I admire that in a person." Levi gave the female host a warm smile.

"I can tell yer already goin' ta be a fun guy ta be 'round, Levi. We're glad ta 'ave ye on the show." Gretchen grinned.

"Likewise." Levi nodded before looking around. "Wait, I'm the first to arrive? Awesome!" He beamed.

Patrick grinned and nodded. "Ye sure are, lad! Why don't ye go an' stand o'er 'ere while we wait fer the next contestant ta arrive?" He told Levi.

"Of course." Levi nodded as he did what he was told. Soon, the next taxi pulled up to the manor as the next contestant stepped out of it.

Said contestant was Rolo, who was dressed in a white tuxedo with white trousers, white shoes, a white hat and a dark pink shirt with a purple necktie.

"Rolo! Yer lookin' sharp too, lad!" Robert told Rolo with a smile as he walked up to him.

"Of course I am. A guy like me tries to look sharp all the time." Rolo told the tallest host as he spun around for a moment to show off his outfit. "And I gotta say, you got my respect for goin' through a divorce and still find the time to raise two kids and remain famous enough to host a reality show like this." He added with a smirk.

"Aye, what can I say? I'm a man o' me talents." Robert laughed as Rolo proceeds to walk over to Levi.

"Hey, name's Levi. So you're Rolo?" Levi asked Rolo as the gangster stood next to him.

"Yep, that's me. And that's all you'll have to know about me for now." Rolo nodded as he didn't bother to look at Levi, who rolled his eyes in response to Rolo's anti-social nature.

"Great, it's one of those anti-social types." Levi sarcastically muttered under his breath.

Next, another taxi pulled up to the manor, and this time, the first female contestant stepped out of it, revealing themselves to be May, who was dressed in a blue dress shirt with black dress pants and black dress shoes.

"Aye, welcome ta Total Drama: Luck o' the Irish, May!" Patrick happily greeted May, who just stood there and didn't respond to him. "Uh, May? Are ye there?" Patrick asked May as he waved his hand in front of her face before she snapped out of her daydream.

"Huh? Oh, hey...So...nice manor you got here, I guess...Sorry if I'm not very talkative, I suffer from narcolepsy...And please, don't wake me up so suddenly, I don't like that..." May told Patrick in a slightly irritated tone of voice.

"Oh, sorry. I didn't mean ta snap ye outta yer daydream like that. Go ahead an' join the others if ye want." Patrick told May.

"Works for me...Hopefully they'll let me sleep in peace..." May slowly nodded as she slowly walked over to Levi and Rolo, stood next to Rolo and didn't say anything else as she drifted back off to sleep.

"Well, she's goin' to be fun, alright." Rolo sarcastically spoke.

Levi shrugged in response. "I don't judge narcoleptic people. Not much they can do about being sleepy all the time." He chimed in.

Next, another taxi pulled up as Taylor got out of it wearing an orange dress with high heeled shoes, taking a huge sip from a bottle of vodka she brought along with her in the taxi before walking over to the hosts.

"Gretchen O'Niall! What's up, babe?! It's an honor to meet you!" Taylor belted out in excitement.

"Ohmigosh, I can't believe I'm seein' ye in real life in front o' me..." Gretchen gushed as she proceeded to fan her bright red face, getting a chuckle out of her father and brother.

"Glad to hear we're on the same wavelength, babe! Now if you'll excuse me, I'm gonna be chatting it up with those nice fellas over there! Woohoo!" Taylor cheered before taking another sip of her vodka and letting out a loud belch before walking over to the other contestants.

Gretchen then stopped fanning her face as she recomposed herself. "Alright, I'm fine now..." She told her father and brother, who chuckled again.

"I'll bet ye hundred euro's that they'll be gettin' together before the season ends." Patrick whispered to his father with a grin.

"Yer on." Robert grinned back as he did a handshake with his son before they turned back to see the next taxi approaching.

Out of the next taxi stepped another male contestant, this one being Ashton, who was dressed in a black tuxedo with a white dress shirt, black dress pants, black socks and black shoes.

Robert then proceeded to start signing Ashton to converse with the deaf teen. Subtitles on the screen read: "Aye, Ashton! Welcome ta Total Drama: Luck o' the Irish, lad!"

Ashton smiled and signed back to Robert, with subtitles on the screen reading: "Thanks, sir! I'm sure me sister will happy ta know that I got ta meet ye and yer children on her behalf, since she's a huge fan o' your music but she's too old to compete."

Robert smiled back as he signed back at Ashton, as the subtitles on the screen read: "Well, we'll be sure to give ye an autograph o' Patrick, Gretchen an' meself before ye leave so that yer sister 'as a souvenir from her idols. Go ahead an' join the others fer now, we got plenty more contestants ta introduce." Ashton smiled and nodded as he walked over to the other contestants.

Another taxi then proceeded to pull up to the manor as the next contestant stepped out of it and the taxi quickly took off again. The contestant in question turned out to be Rina, who wore a gown that hugged her body in royal blue. The gown flared out in a mermaid-esque fashion at the bottom while the top left her arms and shoulders exposed and had an opening just above her chest. The gown also covered Rina's neck and over the fabric, she had a pearl necklace along with a matching bracelet on her wrist and she had her hair left done, falling in waves around her, and she completed the look with a pair of blue high heels.

"Rina! Welcome to Ireland, lassie! We do hope ye'll find it ta yer likin' 'ere!" Patrick grinned at Rina as she walked up to him.

"Thank you, Patrick. You're probably my favorite of the hosting trio for this season because I do tend to see myself in you, and I respect your lifestyle immensely. I think it's needless to say, but you're living the dream." Rina warmly smiled at Patrick.

"Thanks, lassie! I'm glad ye like me so much! Now how about ye go an' chat it up a bit with yer fellow contestants?" Patrick asked with a grin as he gestured to the other contestants.

"Of course, I'd love to." Rina smiled and nodded before making her way over to the other contestants.

"Woohoo! You're Rina, right? I'm Taylor, and I hope we'll be the best of friends on this season!" Taylor shouted in Rina's face as Rina looked at Taylor in disgust before recomposing herself.

"Yes, I would be Rina. I'm hoping that we'll be able to get along during the season myself, Taylor. Thank you very much." Rina nodded as she proceeded to go stand next to Levi, finding him to be the calmest of the bunch so far.

Soon, another taxi pulled up as another male contestant stepped out, this one being Ayrton, who dressed himself in a red suit with black leather shoes.

"Hello, lad! Ye must be Ayrton, right?" Gretchen asked the motorsport fan with a smile.

"Yes, ma'am, that would be me. I'm grateful to have been selected to perform alongside 29 other people on this new season of Total Drama, and I'm sure I'll have myself a wonderful time while here in Ireland." Ayrton told Gretchen with a warm smile as he gave the muscular Irish girl a fist bump.

"I like yer optimism, lad! Yer fellow competitors are over there, so enjoy yerself fer a bit 'til we 'ave all the contestants!" Gretchen told him with a grin as she returned the fist bump.

"Will do." Ayrton smiled and nodded as he walked over to the other contestants while the next taxi pulled up to the manor to drop off the next contestant, this one being another girl.

This time, it was Letty who stepped out of the taxi, and she wore a long lime green dress with gray leggings, black heels and a pearl necklace. She was honestly a bit nervous about this whole ordeal, but she hid it well with a neutral expression on her face.

"Yo, Letty. 'Ow are ye doin', lass?" Robert asked Letty with a warm smile.

"I suppose I'm doing fine under ze circumstances. I'm about to embark on a journey vhere I have to try und outlast 29 fellow competitors for a small fortune of a million dollars, so I have to admit I am a bit nervous about ze whole ordeal, but other zan zat, I'm doing fine." Letty simply responded to him.

"Well, ye won't find any hard times here, lass. As long as me and me kids are here, ye'll pull through, I assure ye." Robert assured Letty, keeping the warm smile, which did put the girl at ease as she smiled back at him.

"Danke, Herr O'Niall. You really are as kind as ze commercial for zis season said you are." Letty replied to him as she walked over to the rest of the contestant as Robert continued to smile, feeling good about having been able to get Letty away from home for a while.

Soon, the next taxi arrived as another male contestant stepped out of it, turning out to be Viktor, dressed in a blue and dark blue geometric sweater vest over a white long sleeved dress shirt along with black slacks and black loafers.

"Viktor! Welcome!" Patrick beamed as the tall Russian teen walked up to him, with Viktor easily having 5 inches on Patrick.

"Hello! Viktor is pleased to be able to spend his summer in Ireland! Viktor already finds Ireland to be to his liking!" Viktor grinned as he proceeded to high five Patrick, but he high fived Patrick so hard that he proceeded to knock Patrick down onto his butt.

Patrick laughed. "I'm glad ye already like it 'ere, Viktor! Go ahead an' join yer fellow contestants, aye?" He told Viktor as he proceeded to get back up.

"Viktor will see what he can do." Viktor grinned as he walked over to his fellow contestants. "Hello, everyone! Viktor's the name, wood cutting's my game!" He greeted his fellow contestants.

"Hey, a fellow Russian! Kak dela?" Taylor asked Viktor with a grin.

"Vse otlichno, spasibo, chto sprosili!" Viktor replied with a grin of his own.

"What are you two saying to each other?" Ayrton asked Taylor and Viktor curiously.

"I asked him how he was doing." Taylor replied to him.

"And Viktor replied he was doing good and thanked her for asking." Viktor chimed in.

"Why do you always refer to yourself in third person? It's kinda weird." Levi asked Viktor.

"Because Viktor does as he pleases!" Viktor grinned.

Levi nervously chuckled. "Okay?" He reluctantly replied.

Soon, another taxi pulled up as another male contestant emerged from it, this one being Juno, as he was dressed in a black vest with a white buttoned shirt underneath along with a red tie, black pants and fancy black shoes.

"Contestant #10: Juno!" Gretchen announced as Juno walked up to her.

"Hey, Gretchen O'Niall! I saw you and your band perform live at Knebworth Park back in 2008! You guys put on an amazing show back there!" Juno told Gretchen as he did a cool handshake with her.

"Thanks, man! We had a lot of fun with that show, and I'm glad the fans like ye did too!" Gretchen beamed at Juno as she returned the cool handshake.

"Oh, I've seen that show! The Irish Mob came flying into the concert by helicopter that day, they usually take a helicopter to their concerts if traffic is going to be busy before and after a concert, much like Queen did back in the day!" Levi explained to the other contestants.

"Wow, you really know your stuff on The Irish Mob, don't you?" Rolo sarcastically asked.

"I'm impressed you know that! I hope we get to be on a team together!" Taylor beamed at Levi.

Juno then looked at the manor and his fellow contestants. "I'm already digging the manor too, and I haven't even been inside yet. And it looks like my fellow contestants are already promising too. Can't wait to see what other contestants will be joining us." Juno smiled as he ran over to his fellow contestants.

Another taxi arrived at the manor, but this time, two contestants stepped out of it, both of them being girls, revealing themselves to be Becky and Olive, with Becky wearing a formal red dress, heels and a matching purse while Olive wore a green formal gown with a lot of glitter on it along with matching green platform boots.

"I hope ye kids are ready fer a two-of-a-kind deal! It's double trouble with sisters Becky and Olive!" Robert told the other contestants with a grin as Becky and Olive walked up to him.

"Robert. Patrick. Gretchen. Not surprised to see you three weakbloods hosting this pathetic show. It doesn't take a smartie or a nerd to know that you guys play soft ass shit during your concerts which is why the producers chose you to take over hosting duties from McLean." Becky insulted the hosts as Gretchen rolled her eyes while Patrick sheepishly grinned and rubbed the back of his head.

"It's nice to see ye again too, Becky. Been a while since we last spoke." Robert nodded at the screamo singer.

"You know each other?" Juno asked as he raised a curious eyebrow.

"Of course, lad. We're all musicians, an' musicians tend ta know each other most o' the time." Robert replied, turning to Juno.

"It's nice to meet you and your children again too, Mr. Robert! It was a lot of fun meeting each other back at the Brit Awards last year! I remember how me and Patrick started dancing on the table together until it broke under the weight of the two of us! And I remember how Ivy and Gretchen would rock out together backstage, and how you and Becky would poetically exchange insults together! It was so much fun!" Olive excitedly told Robert.

"That depends on your definition of fun, Olive." Becky dryly told her sister with a roll of her eyes.

Robert laughed at that. "Alright, alright. I get ye girls are excited ta be 'ere, but we have more contestants ta introduce. Go ahead an' join the other contestants." He told the screamo girls as they walked over to the other contestants.

Shortly afterward, the next taxi arrived and immediately took off again as it left behind Melinda, who wore a white dress shirt, gray dress pants and black dress shoes.

"Melinda! Like the boyish look yer goin' fer!" Patrick grinned as Melinda walked up to him.

"Thanks. Glad at least someone recognizes that girls can wear a shirt and pants when going for a formal look." Melinda gave a small smile at the compliment she got from Patrick.

"Don't mention it! Go ahead an' join yer fellow contestants, 'cause we got more where ye came from!" Patrick grinned at her.

"Sure. I hope there aren't too many idiots to get under my skin." Melinda nodded as she walked over to the other contestants while the next taxi arrived with the next contestant.

This contestant was Phillip, who wore a tuxedo with the white undershirt unbuttoned to show off his chest along with black dress pants and black dress shoes.

"Wooohooo! Are you ready, Total Drama? 'Cause Phillip the Party God has entered the latest season of Total Drama!" Phillip loudly cheered before taking a huge sip from a bottle of whiskey he brought with him.

"Phillip! Welcome!" Gretchen beamed at Phillip as he walked over to her.

"Thanks, Gretchen! You really put the "Gret" in great, you know that? All you need is an "A!"" Phillip beamed back at her.

Gretchen giggled and rolled her eyes at the corny joke. "Ye really are a comedian, aren't ye? I do find it cute and appreciate ye tryin' ta get a chuckle outta me." She told Phillip with a smile.

"Thanks again, Gretchen! I'll be over there with my fellow contestants, maybe try and pick up a chick on Day 1! Woo!" Phillip cheered again as he walked over to his fellow contestants. Once Phillip was out of earshot, Patrick leaned over to Gretchen.

"He does know yer both a minor an' into girls only, right?" Patrick whispered to his sister.

"I'm sure 'e knows, Patrick. But I'm not the type o' girl to turn down a genuine offer ta make me laugh, 'cause laughin' is what makes the world go 'round, ye know?" Gretchen whispered back to him.

"Good point." Patrick nodded and whispered back again before pulling away from Gretchen as the next contestant arrived at the manor.

Said contestant was Sabrina, who wore a pink halter top that went down to her stomach with a black knee-length skirt.

"Hey, Sabrina! Didn't the rules say that ye 'ad ta dress up fancy fer the first episode?" Robert asked Sabrina curiously as she walked up to him with a scowl on her face.

"It's the best I could find in my wardrobe, yo. If you got any objections to that, too bad for you." Sabrina told Robert as she flashed a gang sign at the tall host.

Robert nodded in understanding. "Alright, then I won't judge ye. Go ahead an' join your fellow contestants, we're halfway through." He told Sabrina.

"Cool. I'm sure I can beat all of them up, so bring it on." Sabrina smirked as she walked over to the rest of the contestants, after which Robert shot a glance at Gretchen, who shrugged in response.

"Alright, that's half o' the contestants! Time ta meet the next half!" Robert then announced as the next taxi pulled up to the manor and left behind the next contestant.

This time, it was Joshua who stepped out of the taxi, and he walked up to the hosts dressed in a tuxedo with matching dress pants, socks and dress shoes. He also had his hair wrapped in a ponytail, though his formal wear did look a little unkempt and messy.

"Heyyy, my name's Joshua. You're the new hosts of this show, right? The O'Niall Family? It's really cool to be here." Joshua spoke in a calm and collected manner as a calm smile rested on his face, showing off how laid back the dude could be.

"Aye, we're the O'Niall Family, lad! Welcome to Ireland!" Patrick grinned as he gave Joshua a fist bump.

"Ha, ha. Thanks, man. You're alright. I hope my fellow competitors will be too." Joshua laughed as he returned the fist bump while making his way over to the other contestants while Robert cursed under his breath about how even Joshua's formal clothes were messy.

Soon, another taxi arrived at the manor as it left behind the next contestant; Samantha/Miranda, dressed in a blue dress with white trimming.

Gretchen's eyes widened in shock at how tall this girl was. "Holy shit, yer tall!" She exclaimed in shock.

Samantha giggled and wagged her finger at Gretchen. "Now, now. Watch your mouth, young lady. Didn't your parents ever tell you to never use such language around people?" She asked the muscular Irish girl, who was confused at Samantha's response. "Wait a minute, my sister wishes to say something to you." Samantha told Gretchen as she put on her nightcap and gasped as Miranda took over.

"I'm sorry about my sister, she tends to talk down to people like they're little kids a lot of the time. That's the downside of working with little kids all the time, I suppose. But if you look past her childish and immature nature, she's a really cool girl." Miranda assured Gretchen, who wasn't becoming any wiser of the situation.

"Uhhh, alright? I'm assuming yer Miranda and yer sister who just spoke ta me was Samantha?" Gretchen asked as she checked a clipboard with the contestants' names just to be sure she had the right person in front of her.

"Correct. Samantha wants to speak again, so I'll be off for a moment." Miranda nodded in confirmation of Gretchen's question before taking off the nightcap again as she gasped and Samantha returned.

"Either way, aside from the strange first impression, me and my sister are happy to be here! We'll be over with the rest of the contestants for now, so speak to you soon!" Samantha beamed at Gretchen before walking over to the rest of the contestants as Gretchen leaned over to Patrick.

"Wow, ye weren't kiddin' when ye said ye 'ad selected a contestant similar ta Mike, Patrick." Gretchen whispered to Patrick.

"Aye, I found that split-personality thing so interestin', that we just 'ad ta accept 'er." Patrick whispered back as Gretchen nodded and pulled away. The next taxi then proceeded to arrive with the next contestant.

This time, the contestant arriving was Jacque, who was dressed in a black tuxedo with a red dress shirt, a black bow tie and a red fedora.

"Jacque! It's an honor ta 'ave ye here, lad!" Robert grinned, being excited about having Jacque here as he high fived the black teen.

"Thanks, bubba. I'm glad to be here as well, and I'm looking forward to spendin' the next 8-10 weeks here in the beautiful country of Ireland. And I'm already likin' what I'm seein' of my competition as well." Jacque grinned back at Robert as he returned the high five.

"I'm glad ta hear that, lad! Go ahead an' join yer competition then!" Robert continued to grin at Jacque.

"I'll see what I can do. Lookin' forward to what's to come." Jacque grinned back at Robert and walked over to his fellow contestants.

The next taxi proceeded to arrive with screeching tires before the driver proceeded to toss the next contestant out of the taxi and quickly take off again. The contestant in question was Lucky, who simply wore a purple dress for her formal outfit, nothing too special.

"Aye, yer Lucky, aren't ye? Why'd the driver just throw ye outta the taxi?" Patrick asked Lucky in confusion as the Irish girl proceeded to walk over to him and the other hosts.

"I was tryin' ta kill a fly that had found its way into the taxi, but I ended up distractin' the driver as a result and we nearly crashed on the way 'ere, so that's why the driver threw me out. Guess that's another sign of me bein' a jinx." Lucky admitted with a sheepish giggle.

"Well, I'm sure that ye'll be just fine in the competition out here. After all, this season is called Luck o' the Irish, so surely that must be the perfect counter ta yer bad luck, am I right?" Patrick grinned at Lucky.

"I certainly 'ope so. I do appreciate that ye guys selected me fer the final cast. An' Gretchen, I 'ave ta thank ye fer the confidence ye radiate. It's because o' ye that I was able ta come out ta me family and feel secure 'bout it." Lucky spoke to Patrick before turning her attention to Gretchen.

"Anytime, lass. I'm happy ta be an inspiration ta lesbian girls worldwide." Gretchen grinned at her.

"Well, why don't ye go an' chat with yer fellow competitors fer a bit while we wait fer the others ta get 'ere?" Patrick suggested to Lucky.

"Sure!" Lucky smiled and made her way over to the other contestants. Soon, the next taxi arrived, this time, two more contestants stepped out of the taxi, these ones being Sam and Sammy, both of them dressed in a generic black men's suit.

"I hope ye kids are ready fer another two-of-a-kind deal! It's more double trouble with twins Sam and Sammy!" Gretchen announced as Sam and Sammy walked up to the hosts.

"Ohmigosh, Sam! Can you believe we're actually on Total Drama?!" Sammy beamed at his sister.

"Yep, funnily enough, I had noticed." Sam replied in a dry tone of voice.

"Hi, Mrs. O'Niall! When I heard Total Drama was coming back for another season without Chris McLean around, I just had to sign up! And I'm really glad that I get to share this wonderful journey with my sister too!" Sammy once again beamed at Gretchen.

"Yeah, woohoo." Sam sarcastically chimed in.

Gretchen chuckled at Sammy's enthusiasm and Sam's lack thereof. "We're glad ta 'ave the two o' ye on this season as well! Why don't ye go ahead an' meet yer fellow contestants?" She asked the twins.

"Sure!" Sammy beamed as he took Sam's hand and ran over to the other contestants. "Hi, guys! It's nice to meet you! I'm Sammy and this is my sister Sam!" Sammy told the other contestants.

"Hey, a fellow homosexual! How's it going, dude?" Levi replied to Sammy with a bright smile, already excited to meet a fellow homosexual.

"I'm doing great, can't really complain! As I said to the host back there, I'm really glad I get to share this wonderful journey with my sister, so all's really well right now!" Sammy told him, being just as excited to meet a fellow homosexual as well.

"I'd rather be at home right now, but I didn't get a say in it unfortunately..." Sam rolled her eyes.

"Well, I'm sure we'll get along fine." Levi smiled and nodded at Sammy. While this conversation was happening, the next taxi arrived at the manor as the next contestant stepped out of it.

This contestant was Cana, who wore a purple cocktail dress with shorts underneath and a pair of comfy shoes to go with it.

"Aye, Cana! Welcome ta Ireland, lassie! We're happy ta 'ave ye 'ere!" Robert grinned as Cana proceeded to approach him.

"Thanks, sir. It's honestly kinda weird that I get to meet you and your children in real life after having used your music for my shows, but it's definitely a pleasant experience to be here in your presence. Not to mention, I'm sure my girlfriend is very proud of me being able to be here today." Cana told Robert with a smile before looking at the camera. "Sabine, if you're watching this, I love you, baby, and I'm gonna try my best to bring home the money for you! Mwah!" Cana did a hand kiss at the camera.

"Aye, that's sweet o' ye, lassie. Go ahead an' join the other contestants, we got a couple more ta go through." Robert told her, and Cana nodded in understanding as she walked over to the other contestants while the next taxi arrived to drop off the next contestant.

This contestant was Remus, who wore a full set of Roman armor that he bought off of eBay. Patrick stifled a laugh as Remus approached him, and Remus raised an eyebrow in confusion as to why Patrick was laughing.

"Uh, is there something that is causing your laughing glands to erupt, dear host of Total Drama: Luck of the Irish?" Remus curiously asked Patrick.

Patrick managed to stop laughing as he cleared his throat and recomposed himself. "Aye, me dad just told me a really good joke, an' I couldn't stop laughin' 'bout it." He lied to the wannabe Roman.

Remus seemed to buy the lie, as he nodded in understanding. "Ah, I see, I see. I am certain that your father would make for an amazing act of comedic value back in the amphitheaters of Rome. They should certainly consider sending your father a message to come perform over there once this show has finished filming. For now, I shall make my way to meet my fellow warriors." Remus told Patrick as he made his way over to the other contestants as Patrick started laughing again.

"Ye really picked out the weirdest contestants o' the whole bunch, Patrick, I swear..." Robert sighed and shook his head at his son who was still laughing up a storm. In the meantime, the next taxi dropped off the next contestant before taking off again.

Said contestant was Ingrid, who was dressed in a Victorian style dress with a blue and white color scheme with white sleeves and a white blouse, and the majority of the dress was blue. Her hair was also combed to be straight and her face was cleaned of any dirt.

"Hello, lass. Ye must be Ingrid, right?" Gretchen smiled as Ingrid approached her.

"That would be me, yes. I'm glad I get to compete on this show over the summer. You and your family decided wisely to select me for the final cast, because had you decided otherwise, you would have made my plants very upset, and if there's one thing you wouldn't want to do to my plants, it's making them upset." Ingrid informed Gretchen with a creepy smile, after which Gretchen shot her father a curious look, and he nervously grinned in response. Gretchen shrugged and turned back to Ingrid.

"Well, if yer happy ta be 'ere, then so are we. Go ahead an' meet yer fellow competitors, alright?" Gretchen instructed Ingrid, who nodded and walked over to the rest of the contestants.

Meanwhile, the next contestant emerged from the next taxi that arrived, this contestant being Gerald, who wore a dark yellow dress shirt and dark yellow dress pants with a purple buttoned up vest and bow tie along with the tan dress shoes from his everyday outfit.

"Hi there! Gerald Wilson, isn't it?" Robert gave Gerald a warm smile as the boy approached him.

"Yeah, that's me. Looks like the majority of my competition has already arrived as well. Most of them should be able to give me a run for my money, while others appear to look like a bunch of clowns that are certain to be going home right off the bat." Gerald remarked as he looked at the other contestants, with some of them looking offended at being called clowns.

"I will have you know that I am no clown, you schlep. I am a noble warrior, and I fight for the glory of Rome." Remus informed Gerald.

"Yeah, and don't you know it's rude to speak of your fellow contestants like that?" Samantha chimed in before putting on her nightcap as Miranda took over.

"Eh, big deal. These guys need to learn how to toughen up, so throwing a few insults their way isn't gonna kill 'em." Miranda shrugged in an indifferent manner.

Gerald nodded at his fellow contestants' responses. "Uh huh. I'll just be a bit of a distance away from these people to save my sanity." He spoke as he walked over to his fellow contestants while Robert grinned nervously once more.

Soon, the next taxi arrived and the next contestant stepped out of it, this one being Melissa, who wore a bright pink dress with shorts underneath along with bright pink sneakers.

"Hey, Melissa! What's up, lass?" Patrick greeted the Filipino teen with a grin on his face.

"Hi, Patrick. It's nice to meet you, your father and sister. I love your music, so to be able to compete on Total Drama under the supervision of you guys is like a dream come true." Melissa told Patrick with an excited smile.

"Thanks, lass! Glad ye love our music an' are happy ta be 'ere with me, me dad an' me sister watchin' o'er ye and yer fellow contestants!" Patrick beamed at her, the grin never leaving his face.

"Alright, cool. I'll be over there with my fellow contestants." Melissa smiled as she walked over to her fellow contestants. "Hey, guys. It's nice to meet you all." She greeted her fellow contestants with a smile on her face.

"Yeah, it's nice to meet you too! I'm Sammy!" Sammy beamed at her as he joyously shook her hand.

Robert, Patrick and Gretchen saw Melissa's interactions with her fellow contestants, and the three hosts grinned and gave thumbs up to each other while watching the next taxi arriving with the next contestant.

This next contestant was Jim, who wore a red tuxedo that he borrowed from his dad. "Hello, bruv! Nice to meet you lot! I'm Jim, and I'm pleased to be here over the summer!" Jim smiled at the hosts as he approached them.

"Hello, Jim! It's nice ta meet ye too! We hope ye'll find everythin' ta yer likin' 'ere in Ireland durin' the summer!" Gretchen told Jim with a smile.

"Given that it's not crazy ol' Chris McLean running the show for this season, I'm sure I will!" Jim smiled and nodded as he walked over to his fellow contestants.

Shortly after this, the next taxi arrived with the next contestant, this time the contestant being Chander, dressed in the white dress shirt and black suit jacket from his everyday look with a purple magician's coat added to the outfit. The coat has gold clasps and he was also wearing black slacks with the outfit as well as black dress shoes.

"Hello, everyone! My name's Chander, and I just want to say that I'm very grateful that I get to spend the summer with all you fine people! And of course, I'm very grateful that I get to spend the summer with these three amazingly talented and kind hosts watching over me!" Chander told his fellow contestants and the hosts.

"I'm liking this guy already." Melissa smiled.

"Me too!" Juno chimed in with a smile of his own.

"Well, it seems like yer fellow contestants are just as excited ta be around ye as ye are ta be around them, lad. Go ahead an' join' them, we got a few more contestants ta go through." Robert informed Chander, who nodded in understanding as he walked over to his fellow contestants.

Not too long after that, the next taxi arrived with the next contestant, and out of the taxi stepped Rowan, dressed in his ninja garb that served as his everyday attire.

"Hello, Rowan! Uh, didn't we tell ye ta dress up fancy fer the first episode?" Patrick asked the ninja as he raised a confused eyebrow.

"You did, so I came in my ninja garb! I wear it for both casual and formal occasions, so that might explain things a bit!" Rowan explained to the host with a smile.

"I...see. Well, go ahead an' join the other contestants, we're almost done!" Patrick informed Rowan, who nodded and ran towards the other contestants.

The final taxi then proceeded to pull up to the manor as the final contestant stepped out, this one being Clover, who wore a mossy green tulle dress with puffy sleeves and little flowers throughout, pairing the dress with silver heels.

"Hello, Misters and Miss O'Niall. I'm Clover, and I'm happy I get to be here for this season of Total Drama. I do apologize in advance for sounding so quiet, but that mainly has to do with my sensitive hearing, so I prefer to speak more quietly so as to not trigger my sensitive hearing." Clover told the hosts.

"We understand, Clover. It's nothin' ta be ashamed 'bout. Go ahead an' join yer fellow contestants." Gretchen nodded in understanding as Clover went to join her fellow contestants. "Alright, all the contestants are 'ere! Before we can start our tour o' the manor, we want ta introduce ye kids ta our staff fer the season!" Gretchen told the hosts as the interns, chef, medic, driver and even the Aftermath hosts arrived at the scene.

"Hey, everyone...My name's Alex, and I'm one of the interns for this season...I'll likely be helping out with a lot of the challenges around here..." Alex introduced himself to the hosts.

"H-Hi...M-My name's Melissa, b-but to distinguish me from the c-contestant, you can call me T-Telia, it's my m-middle name...I'll likely be w-working on a bunch of the t-technical stuff around the manor, s-so that's where you'll likely be finding m-me..." Telia introduced herself.

"I'm Meghan, I'm in charge of technical duties alongside Telia, but you might find me fulfilling other tasks around the manor as well!" Meghan introduced herself.

"I'm Stanley, you'll find me doing literally anything around the manor so you guys don't have to!" Stanley told the contestants with a prideful grin.

"I'm Jon, I'll be the chef for this season. I'll be serving you guys three meals a day, and they'll be a lot more tasteful than whatever Chef Hatchet cooked up for the contestants three times a day." Jon assured the contestants, who smiled in delight.

"I'm Anika, I'll be the medic for this season. Any wounds you might have, I'll be ready to patch them up for you." Anika informed the contestants.

"Private Raphael at your service! If you get eliminated, I'll be driving you to the Aftermath studio in the Saracen of Shame!" Raphael informed the contestants.

"And the Aftermath will be hosted by the three of us! I'm Simon Hunt, the main host of the bunch!" Simon informed the contestants. Simon was a Caucasian male standing at 5'10 with a toned build along with brown hair that was gelled back along with light green eyes. His outfit consisted of a dark gray two piece suit with a white dress shirt and a dark gray tie along with dark gray dress shoes.

"I'm Will, I'm Alex's brother and one of Mr. Hunt's co-hosts! Good luck with your internship, bro!" Will happily spoke as Alex nodded back at his brother. Will was a Caucasian male standing at 5'9 and having a lean build with some muscles and curly brown hair and brown eyes. He wore a light red button up shirt with the two top buttons unbuttoned along with dark gray pants and black sneakers.

"And my name is Preston, I am Mr. Hunt's other co-host. It's a pleasure to meet all of you, and I do hope that our Aftermath interviews with you will go swimmingly." Preston smiled and nodded in agreement. Preston was an averagely built Caucasian male with deep dark brown hair in a semi-long crew cut and brownish hazel eyes standing at 6'1 who wore a stylish gray sweater over a white collared shirt of which the sleeves always peek out of the gray sweater's sleeves along with black straight suit pants and plain black Oxford shoes, completing the look with a modest colored Scot-patterned tie and a sizable wristwatch on his left hand.

"Alright, thank ye, regular crew an' Aftermath crew! Raphael, if ye would be so kind as to drive our Aftermath hosts ta their studio, please?" Robert asked Raphael, who saluted in response and ran over to the Saracen of Shame with Simon, Will and Preston following behind.

"Now then, without further ado, let's give ye a tour o' the manor!" Patrick grinned as the hosts began to take the contestants inside the manor. "First, we'll be showin' ye where ye'll be sleepin' durin' the season. We've secured two separate rooms fer the lassies an' the laddies ta sleep in. We've already put yer baggage in there, so all ye need ta do is unpack an' then ye'll be fine." Patrick explained to the contestants before showing them both bedrooms. Both rooms were rather large and had 15 beds in total along with a coffee table, a set of couches and an en-suite bathroom with toilets and showers.

"Excuse me, but I 'ave a question. 'Ow will the girls and guys sleepin' in separate rooms affect the teams? 'Cause I'm sure that havin' the girls an' guys from the separate teams sleepin' together in one room could be troublesome fer in-team relations." Lucky spoke up, raising her hand.

"Eh, I don't think it's that big of a deal, bruv. As far as I'm concerned, team relations are for the challenges. During our down time, we should be allowed to hang out with whoever we want." Jim shrugged in response to Lucky's question.

"Jim is right. Fer this season o' Total Drama, we're tryin' ta allow fer more room ta interact with contestants that aren't on the same team as one another. After all, we felt that previous seasons o' Total Drama were a bit too restrictive by only havin' contestants on the same team interact with one another an' only rarely 'ave contestants from different teams interact durin' the team phase. So if ye want ta interact with people that aren't on yer team durin' the team phase, feel free ta do so, ye won't be penalized fer it." Robert explained before the hosts proceeded to close the bedroom doors again and they moved on to the next part of the tour.

They soon arrived in the dining hall. "This here is the dinin' hall o' the manor. This is where Jon will be servin' ye yer breakfast, lunch an' dinner every day. As Jon said, there'll be more variety in food compared ta previous seasons o' this show, so ye won't have ta worry yerselves on that score. Jon is currently in the middle o preparin' yer lunch fer ye, so ye'll be able ta eat very soon." Gretchen explained to the contestants, who were impressed by the dining hall and the fact they were going to be eating real food.

"Wow, a real culinary establishment for us to eat real food in? This is certainly a step up from what previous seasons of the show called Total Drama have given its warriors!" Remus remarked with a smile.

"You said it, weird gladiator dude. I could get used to this." Melinda smirked.

"An' I'm sure ye all know 'bout a little somethin' called the elimination ceremony? That takes place right outside this door, kids!" Robert explained as the hosts and the contestants made their over to the elimination ceremony area, which was situated in the backyard of the manor. In the backyard of the manor stood a fire pit in the middle with a set of stone benches in front of it as well as a podium for the hosts to stand at.

"This is where ye'll go ta vote out a fellow contestant each episode. Every safe camper that gets ta stay in the competition fer another three days will be rewarded with a basket o' these delicious breadsticks baked by Jon." Robert explained as he held up a basket of breadsticks, and some contestants licked their lips in delight at seeing the breadsticks. "An' if ye get voted out, ye 'ave ta join Raphael in the Saracen o' Shame where he'll drive ye ta the Aftermath studio where Simon, Will an' Preston will be interviewin' ye about yer time on the show." Robert continued to explain to the contestants.

-Confessional: Robert-

Robert was now seen sitting inside a small room somewhere in the manor on a fancy chair. "Of course, like previous seasons o' Total Drama, we've also got a confessional where ye can go ta let the viewers back know 'ow ye really feel or simply get somethin' off yer chest. We spared no expenses in makin' the confessional as nice as possible so that it's miles better than that dinky outhouse Chris McLean made the contestants use."

-End Confessional-

-Confessional: Jacque-

"So this fancy schmancy Irish manor is where I'll be staying for the next 8-10 weeks? Heh, heh. I could definitely get used to this. I hope the other contestants won't be too much of a challenge for me to get through, 'cause I'm in it to win." Jacque smirked as he had his hands behind his head and he crossed his right leg over his left leg.

-End Confessional-

-Confessional: Samantha/Miranda-

"Wow! This manor is a true luxury compared to the other seasons of Total Drama! And so far, it's really been treating me and my fellow contestants rather nicely! What do you think, Miranda?" Samantha asked her sister before putting on her nightcap and gasping as Miranda took over.

"The manor's alright, I suppose. Definitely a step up from the stuff that Chris McLean made contestants go through. But all the fancy stuff doesn't impress me that much. I'm more interested in seeing what kind of challenges those Irish musicians have in store for us." Miranda replied as Samantha proceeded to take control again.

"Yeah, I definitely feel you on the challenges! I'm curious to seeing what challenges the hosts have planned for this season myself! Guess we'll find out in due time!" Samantha beamed.

-End Confessional-

-Confessional: Melissa-

"I'm pretty sure I've mentioned it already, and I might not show it, but I'm very excited to be on this season of Total Drama. I love The Irish Mob's music, so to be competing on a season of Total Drama hosted by the three of them is a dream come true. And I'm looking forward to the challenges that the season has to offer, because the challenges are one of the main reasons I came to this show."

-End Confessional-

-Confessional: Sammy-

"Ohmigosh, hi, everyone! I'm Sammy, and I'm gonna be one of the contestants on this season of Total Drama! I hope you're looking forward to it just as much as I am!" Sammy beamed as he joyously waved at the camera.

-End Confessional-

"An' with that, we've come ta the end o' the tour! Go ahead an' unpack in yer bedrooms an' then meet us in the dinin' hall in 30 minutes fer lunch as well as a surprise!" Gretchen told the contestants with a grin.

We then switch to the girls' bedroom, where the girls began to unpack their stuff as well as choose their beds. There were two rows of 7 beds, and one single bed in the last row. In the first row from left to right slept Rina, Olive, Becky, Cana, Taylor, Letty and Ingrid. In the second row from left to right slept Clover, Sam, Lucky, Melinda, Sabrina, Samantha/Miranda and Melissa, and May slept in the single bed in the final row.

"Weee! This is gonna be, like, so much fun! Have you guys seen all those boys that we'll be competing alongside? I'm sure they'll be a lot of fun to hang out with or maybe even call our significant other, don't you think?" Olive beamed at the girls in the room with her before Sam proceeded to make her way into the bathroom, leaving Olive confused as she stared back at the other girls, who proceeded to shrug in response.

-Confessional: Sam-

"I didn't need to use the bathroom, but there's no way in hell I'm gonna hear those girly girls gushing over the boys we'll competing against. That sappy stuff just isn't my cup of tea." Sam explained as she folded her arms in front of her chest with a scowl on her face.

-End Confessional-

"Sure, it'd be fun talkin' 'bout the boys we'll be competin' against on this season, but is that really what we want to be doin' with our down time before lunch?" Lucky asked her fellow female contestants.

Melissa nodded in agreement. "Lucky's right, if all we talk about here is boys, that's sure to get this season a negative score on the Bechtel Test." The Filipino teen chimed in before the other girls looked at her funny.

"The Bechtel Test? What the hell is that?" Melinda asked her with a raised eyebrow.

"The Bechtel Test is something used in movies to determine if the female characters in it are being portrayed positively. If the female characters talk about anything other than boys, it'll give you a positive score on the test." Melissa explained.

"Oh, so you're a movie girl, huh? What movies do you like then?" Cana asked her curiously, trying to change the subject from boys to something else.

"Well, I really like superhero movies. I may be athletic, but I'm also a bit of a nerd, so superheroes are something I can dig when it comes to movies. I really like the Superman movies with Christopher Reeve, except for the fourth one. That one was just so bad." Melissa explained.

"Superhero movies, huh? That's cool. I like movies with a music theme the most, which makes sense, since I'm a musician myself." Cana told the girls with a grin.

May then proceeded to jolt awake just as she heard the girls talking about movies. "So we're talking about movies, huh? I don't watch movies that much 'cause I tend to fall asleep pretty quickly while watching them, but when I do watch movies, I usually like to watch documentaries...They're compelling enough for a narcoleptic person like myself to sit through for a while before I go back to sleep..." The daydreamer gave her thoughts on the matter.

"Alright, so who wants to share their favorite type of movies next?" Melissa then asked.

Meanwhile, the boys had also gotten sorted out which beds to take after a bit more discussion than the girls had. In the first row from left to right slept Phillip, Juno, Viktor, Ashton, Rolo, Ayrton and Jim. In the second row from left to right slept Levi, Rowan, Sammy, Joshua, Remus, Chander and Jacque while Gerald slept in the single bed in the last row.

"Well, we sure don't know how lucky we have it on this season. We get to stay at a manor over the summer, the hosts actually care about our well being, and we'll be getting actual food. This Total Drama season is treating us so nicely that it almost doesn't feel real." Ayrton remarked.

Rolo nodded in agreement. "I feel ya there, kid. It definitely feels surreal that a Total Drama season is actually treating the contestants like human beings. But I certainly welcome it. And besides, it was to be expected that after all the shit that Chris McLean pulled on the contestants over the past four seasons of Total Drama, he'd be locked up in the can sooner or later and that the producers were going to have to hire a decent human being to host this show." The gangster voiced his reasoning.

"Yeah, man. It's like, soooo chill that we get to hang out on Total Drama with hosts that actually have a heart, y'know? After how intense the last few seasons of Total Drama were, I can actually dig a Total Drama season that has more of a laid back vibe. Fits with the laid back vibe I've got going on myself, y'know?" Joshua chimed in as he was lounging on his bed with his hands behind his head and his legs crossed.

"Well, I doubt that this season will be all laid back and relaxed. It's still Total Drama, so no doubt will the hosts have some action based yet still safe challenges for us in store for the summer." Levi told Joshua as he was sitting on his own bed.

"True that. I can't help but be a bit concerned about that new rule about people being allowed to interact with contestants outside of their own team during the team phase though. I can't help but feel that it could breed a lot of cross-team relationships that could hurt the teams in the long run for the duration of the team phase." Ayrton then admitted.

"Eh, don't worry so much about it, bruv. The hosts said it's fine, and as far as I'm concerned, team relations should be reserved for the challenges, and during our down time, we should be allowed to hang with whoever we want." Jim told him with a reassuring smile.

-Confessional: Jim-

"You can't be at the top of your game if all you're doing during the team phase is hang out with your own team. Total Drama is usually a game about forging alliances to keep your head above water, so it's important that you forge as many alliances as possible, even with people on other teams so that you'll be heading into the merge with plenty of votes in your pocket to ensure you'll last into the merge for a while." Jim spoke as he tapped his forehead with his left index finger.

-End Confessional-

About 30 minutes later, the contestants made their way down to the dining hall for lunch, and Rina was at the front of the line as she made her way over to Jon with her tray in her hands. "Hello, good sir. What's for lunch today? Perhaps something around the world?" Rina asked Jon with a beaming smile.

"Today's lunch is spaghetti with a zesty tomato sauce, fresh olives and Parmesan cheese on top with a glass of white grape juice on the side. Enjoy." Jon smiled as he put the food and drink he mentioned down on Rina's plate, and the soprano's eyes glistened at the fact there was actual food on her plate as she left the line.

Rowan was the next in line as Jon proceeded to put down the food and drink on his plate. "Oh, wow. Thanks a lot, sir. That looks great." Rowan smiled at Jon who smiled and nodded back at him as the ninja left the line.

Sabrina was next, and she couldn't help but smirk at the fact that she was going to get actual food during her stay on the show. "Whoa! This food looks a lot better than the crap they serve me where I come from! Kudos to you, chef dude!" The goth girl gave a thumbs up to Jon who gave a thumbs up back as Sabrina left the line.

Soon, everyone had gotten their food and had all broken off into different small groups as they were eating their food. The first group consisted of Levi, Chander, Samantha/Miranda, Cana and Remus.

"Man, this spaghetti is off the chain! It's delicious!" Chander beamed as he ate his food.

Levi grinned and nodded in agreement. "You know it, man! We don't know how lucky we have it with the food compared to previous contestants on this show! Compared to Chef Hatchet's food, this is an actual feast!" The blogger agreed as he stuffed another portion of spaghetti into his mouth.

"You have my wholehearted agreement, fellow warrior. My body is a temple, so I only expect the most nutritious of foods to be put into this body so I can remain in tip top shape to continue my fight for the glory of Rome." Remus chimed in, which got a chuckle out of the other people sitting with him.

"So, you girls were talking about the various things you liked while you were unpacking?" Chander then asked the girls sitting with him.

Cana smiled and nodded. "Yeah, we did. We talked about the various movies we liked, and we also got to talk about ourselves for a bit. For example, Melissa is on her school's track team and Samantha's sister Miranda is living forth through her." The EDM artist explained.

Chander looked at Samantha in surprise. "Really? Your sister is living forth through you?" He asked the jester curiously.

Samantha nodded. "Yeah, my sister Miranda actually died when we were very young, and the jester act we performed together just felt incomplete without her, so I began acting like Miranda, and that sorta led to Miranda becoming a part of me. So whenever she's in control, she basically acts how I think she would have acted if she had lived to be my age." She explained.

"Wow...That's kinda sad, but also very noble that you want to keep your sister alive through yourself." Chander smiled at the jester.

Remus nodded in agreement. "He is right, noble warrior. Back in Rome, people have said that old souls live forth in other people's bodies, and the soul of your fallen sister is basically living forth in your body." The Roman gave his thoughts on the matter.

Samantha couldn't help but blush at that. "Thanks, guys. It's really nice of you to think of it that way. By the way, Miranda wants to say something, so she'll be speaking for a bit." She spoke as she let Miranda take control.

"Yeah, thanks for the kind words you're giving my sister, guys. It's indeed very noble of her that she's willing to do this for the both of us. I'm sure that both me and my sister will be able to get along with you guys over the summer. Do keep in mind that I'm the more mature of the two of us, so I might be less social and a bit more creepy than my sister is." Miranda warned the other people at the table with her, chuckling creepily before twisting her body around, which did creep the others out a bit, but at the same time, it also got a laugh out of them.

Meanwhile, a bit further down the same table, another group was sitting, consisting of Sam, Sammy, Olive, Becky and Jacque, and they were watching the other group. "I wonder what they're laughing about?" Olive asked no one in particular.

"Probably about that jester's roleplaying, who knows?" Becky gave an indifferent shrug.

"I don't really care. I want to know how a man can look so good while laughing." Sammy gushed as he was looking at Levi.

"Seriously? It's bad enough that I have to be on this dumb show over the summer, but now I also have to watch you get all sappy over pretty boys? You're really trying my patience here, Sammy." Sam told her brother with an annoyed look.

"So, the two of you are twins, right?" Olive then asked Sam and Sammy curiously.

"Yeah, but I'm the older one." Sammy told her with a smile.

"He sure doesn't act like it..." Sam muttered under her breath.

"Ooh, that's so awesome! Between me and Becky, I'm the older one too!" Olive beamed at the twins.

"You sure don't act like it..." Becky muttered under her breath, after which she and Sam glanced at each other, and they looked at each other as if to say: "You actually understand me?"

"So, what happens if you two are both into the same boy?" Olive then asked Sam and Sammy curiously.

"We don't. I'm only into girls." Sam told her.

"Really? Well, I like both boys and girls, so we could talk about girls too if you want! For example, I think that Rina is as pretty as a mermaid princess!" Olive happily replied.

"I don't really like to talk about sappy stuff like romance, thank you very much. My preferred types of conversations are about self defense, driving and repairing cars, guns, fishing, all boyish kind of stuff." Sam glared at the drummer.

"Oh! Well, I'm afraid I don't have much experience with those topics, but I'd be more than willing to try and talk with you about it during our down time!" Olive nervously giggled.

"I'm sure we'll all be able to get along regardless of our differing interests. After all, getting along requires being able to be a good listener whenever we talk to each other. That's something I've learned growing up back home." Jacque chimed in with a charismatic grin.

"I'm sure we will, Jacque! I hope that we'll all be able to learn something from you during our time on this show!" Olive smiled at the lean black teen.

"I hope so too, bubba. I hope so too." Jacque smiled back at her.

At another table sat a group consisting of Ashton, Lucky, Ayrton, Rowan and Sabrina. "Aw, yeah. This food is so good, bro. I could eat it by the truckload, both figuratively and literally." Sabrina grinned as she put more spaghetti into her mouth and started to chew.

"You must really like food then." Ayrton remarked as he watched Sabrina eat.

"Damn right I do, G. Where I come from, good food is hard to come by, so to go on Total Drama where they're actually serving good food for a change is like a present from heaven, if you know what I mean?" Sabrina replied to him after she finished eating the spaghetti.

"Really, huh? Where do you come from then?" Rowan asked Sabrina curiously with a smile.

Sabrina shot a glare at Rowan. "Best not ask those type of questions, G. Else you get a foot up your ass. Those questions are reserved for trusted associates." She warned the ninja.

Rowan nervously chuckled at Sabrina's response. "Alright, I won't ask those questions then." He said before turning to the rest of the group sitting at the table. "So you said your brother knows Anne Maria from last season? Must be a small world to see someone you know compete on Total Drama." He spoke to Ayrton.

Ayrton chuckled at that. "Yeah, my brother does know Anne Maria. After she returned home from her participation on Revenge of the Island, she was teased and ridiculed a lot for quitting the competition over a diamond that turned out to be faker than a pair of Hollywood tits." He replied to Rowan, which got a laugh out of the ninja and the others at the table. Well, at least those that could hear what Ayrton was saying.

Ashton raised a curious eyebrow at Ayrton, which the motorsport fan took notice of. "What's the matter, big guy? Did you not get what I was saying?" Ayrton asked Ashton, after which the deaf teen proceeded to point at his ear as if to tell Ayrton that he was deaf. "Ah, you're deaf. My bad. Do any of you guys happen to know sign language so we can tell him what I we were talking about?" Ayrton asked the others at the table.

"Yeah, I know sign language. I could teach ye guys a few things so ye could converse with 'im too." Lucky chimed in as she began signing to Ashton what the group was talking about before, and the deaf teen made an "O" shape with his mouth and began laughing before signing back at Lucky.

"So what did he say?" Rowan asked Lucky curiously.

"He said that 'e found it very funny that a contestant would quit Total Drama o'er a fake diamond and that Ayrton 'appened to know 'er through 'is brother." Lucky informed him.

"I see. Well, I'm sure that once all of us have learned sign language, we could have a lot of interesting conversations together." Rowan smiled.

"Yeah, I'm sure we will." Ayrton agreed.

"As long as the big guy understands gang signs, I'm sure we'll get along swimmingly." Sabrina grinned as she flashed a gang sign and the group began to laugh again as Lucky signed to Ashton what the others were saying, and the deaf teen nodded in understanding.

Further down the same table sat another group consisting of Juno, Melissa, Ingrid, Phillip and Viktor. "So your parents signed you up for this show because they wanted you to try and make friends that aren't plants from the greenhouse?" Melissa asked Ingrid curiously.

Ingrid nodded in confirmation. "They did. Plus, they're planning on demolishing the greenhouse, so I'm hoping to win this season so I can use the prize money to buy the greenhouse so that it won't be demolished." She explained to the group at the table with her.

"Since you spend so much time around plants, I'm sure you must be very knowledgeable on plants, right?" Juno asked Ingrid with just as much curiosity as Melissa.

"I am. I spend most of my time in the greenhouse with my plants, gardening and doing all kinds of stuff one would do with actual friends, so I'm pretty knowledgeable on all sorts of plants." Ingrid explained.

"Viktor has one question for you; You do all sorts of stuff with plants that you would do with normal friends, right? Does that include having casual conversations with them?" Viktor then asked Ingrid.

"I do. Why do you ask?" Ingrid asked him in return.

"Viktor just wants to confirm that you're a real life Lorax. Just like Lorax speaks for trees, you seem to speak for plants, right?" Viktor replied to her.

Ingrid hummed inquisitively as she thought about it. "I suppose I am a bit like the Lorax then, yeah. The funny thing is that I've actually read the Lorax books as well as other Dr. Seuss books to my plants in the past, so that really makes the Lorax thing come full circle." She let out a creepy chuckle, which did get her a few weird looks from those at the table with her, but they tried to not pay it too much mind.

"Yeah, I can understand why your parents would want you to spend some time away from the greenhouse then. But you'll be in good hands while on this show, because we're all more than willing to help you become more social around humans." Phillip assured her with a grin.

"Thanks, guys. I do appreciate it, and I'm sure my parents would appreciate it too." Ingrid smiled. It was a creepy smile, but that's just how she smiled.

At another table, a group consisting of Rolo, Jim, Gerald, Joshua, Letty, Clover and May was eating in a comfortable silence. Well, at least comfortable to them.

"Soooo...Y'all digging the laid back vibe of this season of Total Drama so far, dudes and ladydudes?" Joshua then asked the others at the table with him to try and get a conversation going.

"I guess so. But as we said while in our room together, this is still Total Drama, so we still gotta expect things to get a little action oriented in the future. I mean, the first couple of challenges of Total Drama Island were pretty simple, so I'm guessing that with a new set of hosts, the first couple of challenges in this season are gonna be pretty simple too." Rolo gave his thoughts on the matter.

"That first challenge where they had to jump off a cliff into shark infested waters didn't seem that simple to me though. But I do see your point about the first few challenges in this season being simple. After all, we got three new hosts for this season, so obviously they'll be starting out with a few simple challenges to get the hang of things." Jim agreed with Rolo's reasoning.

"Yeah, I guess it makes sense to have some simple challenges for the first couple of episodes so that both hosts and contestants alike can get the hang of things. It's sorta like challenge in a video game; It has to be given in increments, meaning a game should gradually get harder as it progresses. Challenges in Total Drama should work the same way." Gerald chimed in.

"I don't have zat much experience vith video games, so I don't entirely understand vhere you are going vith zat, but I suppose I do see your point about challenge being given to us in increments." Letty agreed with Gerald.

"Good, because I'm not going to bother explaining it again. Not my fault you sheltered snobs struggle to pick up on social cues." Gerald rolled his eyes at Letty.

"H-Hey, there's no need to be rude to people just because they don't immediately understand what you're talking about. Maybe if you could give them some context on what you're talking about, they'd be able to understand it better?" Clover suggested to Gerald as she tapped her fingernails on the surface of the table.

"I could do that, yeah. But I don't really feel like it." Gerald shrugged as Clover sighed and turned her attention to May.

"H-Hey, May? You gotta make sure you're eating your food, because I'm sure that Jon wouldn't want it to go to waste..." The ASMRtist pointed out to the narcoleptic teen next to her.

"Don't worry about it...I'll make sure to finish it before the end of the day..." May assured her as she just stared into space, not bothering to look at Clover. Clover nodded at May's words and went back to her own food.

Finally, the last group sitting at another table consisted of Melinda, Taylor and Rina. "I don't know why I bothered to sit with the two of you, but I suppose it's better than sitting alone." Melinda spoke as she ate her food.

"Agreed. If you're comfortable with eating in silence by yourself, then I suppose sitting alone wouldn't be so bad. But still, on a show like Total Drama, eating with company is better than eating alone." Rina agreed with Melinda as the soprano was also eating her food.

"Damn right, ladies! On this show, it's always better to eat with friends than by yourself! That's why I'm glad I've decided to sit with the two of you, because you two seem to be so much fun to be around! Woo!" Taylor took another sip of her vodka bottle before she began eating more spaghetti.

Melinda and Rina were both annoyed by Taylor's loud nature, but neither of them appeared to be interested in making enemies on the first day, so they just put up with it. "By the way, Taylor. Aren't you concerned about your drinking habits one bit?" Melinda asked the Russian teen curiously.

"Yes, alcoholic spirits could have deleterious effects on your gameplay this season, so maybe cut back on the alcohol a bit?" Rina suggested to Taylor.

-Confessional: Rina-

"I wouldn't actually mind if that Russian girl remained drunk for the duration of her stay on the show, but that's not something I would admit out loud. After all, I may be a Queen Bee, as they would call it, but I am certainly not dumb."

-End Confessional-

"Nah, I'll be fine. I've actually performed whilst under influence of booze before and have managed to put on some amazing performances doing so. I do appreciate your concern, girls. Makes me hope I'll be on a team with the two of you so we could look out for one another." Taylor told the girls with a grin as she pulled them close to her for a hug, causing Melinda and Rina's eyes to widen.

As the contestants continued to eat, talk and generally mind their own business, their attention suddenly went to the door of the dining hall as Robert, Patrick and Gretchen appeared there. "Hello again, contestants! I hope ye all had a great lunch time, 'cause it's time fer the main event o' the day: We're goin' ta be puttin' ye into yer teams!" Robert announced with a grin as a bunch of the contestants appeared to be interested in this.

"Aye, now listen up, 'cause 'ere's the deal: Gretchen will be goin' 'round the room with this hat right 'ere, and ye'll each be pullin' a card outta the hat. If yer card has a yellow, green or blue color on it, that means that ye'll be the captain o' one o' the three teams fer this season! Once the three captains 'ave been selected, ye'll playin' a game o' schoolyard pickin' ta create yer new teams. Each captain will take turns selectin' a male contestant, then a female contestant, then a male contestant again, and this will continue 'til each team has 10 members; 5 lasses an' 5 laddies." Patrick explained to the contestants.

"An' just so ye know; Since this is the first episode o' the season an' we're runnin' low on runtime, there won't be a challenge played in the first episode, which means that no one will be goin' home in this episode." Gretchen chimed in, which relieved some of the contestants.

"Now then, without further ado, let's find our captains!" Robert finished as Gretchen began to go around the room and allowed each contestant to pull a card out of the hat she was holding. Once all contestants had gotten themselves a card, Gretchen walked back to her father and brother. "Alright, each o' ye now 'as a card! If ye would all be so kind as ta reveal which card ye got?" Robert then asked the contestants as they revealed their cards.

"Potryasayushchiy! Viktor got the yellow card!" Viktor grinned as he held up the yellow card.

"Alright, Viktor is the captain o' Team A! Could ye please come o'er 'ere, Viktor?" Robert asked Viktor as the lumberjack got up and walked over to him.

"Whoa, I got the green card!" Levi beamed as he held up the green card.

"That means Levi is the captain o' Team B! Please join me, Levi!" Patrick instructed the blogger as Levi got up and walked over to him.

"I got the blue card!" Clover yelled as she held up the blue card. Clover yelled at a normal volume, but for someone like her, that was pretty loud.

"Which means that Clover is the captain o' Team C! Come ta me, Clover!" Gretchen told the ASMRtist as she made her way over to Gretchen.

"Now then, let's get 'round ta formin' the teams! An' Viktor, yer goin' first!" Robert told Viktor as he gave the lumberjack a pat on the back.

"Alright, so Viktor has to pick a guy first, and then a girl, right? Well, in that case...Viktor picks him!" Viktor spoke, pointing at Rolo.

"You really want me to be the first person on your team? Eh, sure. Being picked first for a team has its benefits, am I right?" Rolo responded with a shrug as he got up from his seat and walked over to Viktor.

"Alright, Levi. It's your turn. Which male contestant do ye want first?" Patrick asked Levi curiously.

"Hm..." Levi inquisitively hummed as he scanned his eyes across the room before pointing at Sammy. "I want Sammy to be the first guy on my team." He smiled.

"Oh, thank you!" Sammy beamed as he ran over to Levi and hugged him. "We're going to be getting along so well on our new team!" He told Levi happily. "When you get to pick your first girl, you should pick my sister, it'd be so cool to be on the same team as each other!" He then told Levi.

"I'll see what I can do." Levi chuckled as he returned the hug, blushing a bit as he did so.

"Okay, now it's Clover's turn! Which lad is yer first pick, Clover?" Gretchen asked Clover curiously.

"U-Um...I want...him..." Clover pointed at Ayrton, who proceeded to get up from his seat and walked over to her.

"Thanks. It's not often that I get picked first in a game of schoolyard picking." Ayrton warmly smiled at Clover.

Clover smiled back at him. "D-Don't mention it..." She replied to him.

"Alright, now Viktor gets to pick a girl for his team, right? In that case, Viktor wants the girl twin!" Viktor grinned as he pointed at Sam, causing Sam to glare at Viktor and flash her middle finger at him, though the middle finger was blurred out by the editing team. Sammy, on the other hand, began crying at the fact that he now had to compete against his sister, something he wasn't prepared to handle.

-Confessional: Viktor-

"Viktor knows it's not nice to separate the girl twin from her idiot brother, but Viktor made that choice based on pure strategy; Twins being on the same team as each other could mean trouble down the line, so that's why Viktor chose to separate them and keep them on different teams. Viktor may refer to himself in third person, but that does not mean Viktor is stupid." Viktor explained his reasoning behind separating the twins.

-End Confessional-

Patrick sighed as Sammy was crying on his shoulder and he comforted the older Dakota twin by rubbing his back. "Well, while we take in what just 'appened, it's time fer Levi ta pick 'is first girl fer 'is new team." He announced.

Levi sighed too at the scene that Viktor had caused before turning his attention back to the room and looked around to decide which girl he wanted first for his team. "I'll take...Lucky." He said, pointing at the jinx.

"Yay!" Lucky beamed as she walked over to her new team but on the way there, she ended up tripping over a loose piece of carpet on the dining hall floor and she ended up hitting Levi in the groin on accident during her fall, causing the blogger to wheeze and clutch his groin in pain. The other contestants and the hosts proceeded to wince at that.

"I'm so sorry, Levi! I didn't mean ta do that!" Lucky told her new team captain with a flushed face.

"It's fine, Lucky...I understand it wasn't your intention to do that..." Levi took a deep breath and recomposed himself.

"Uh...wow. While we think about that, it's time fer Clover ta pick the first girl fer 'er team." Gretchen awkwardly picked up.

"A-Alright..." Clover looked the room over and pointed at Melinda. "I-I'd like Melinda for my first girl pick, please..." She said.

"Great, why'd I have to get stuck with the quiet cream puff for a team captain...?" Melinda muttered under her breath before walking over to her new team.

"Alright, now it's Viktor's turn again to pick a guy, and Viktor wants that little shrimp!" Viktor grinned as he pointed at Gerald.

Gerald looked offended at being called a shrimp. "I'll have you know that I am no shrimp, you big tub of fuck." He insulted his new team captain.

"You know better than to talk back to your new captain, shrimpy. Especially when your new captain is a 6 foot 7 Russian lumberjack who could stomp you flat if you let Viktor." Viktor grinned at Gerald.

Gerald sighed and didn't protest any further as he walked over to his new team. "What have I done to deserve this...?" He muttered under his breath.

"This is going to be a long summer, alright..." Sam muttered under her breath as well.

"Alright, now it's my turn to pick a guy again, is it? Well, I'll pick...Rowan." Levi spoke as he pointed at the ninja.

"Oh, sweet. Thanks for picking me for your new team, dude." Rowan smiled and gave his new captain a courtesy bow for men before walking over to join his new team.

"O-Okay, as for my next guy pick, I'll pick...Jim." Clover spoke, pointing at the actor.

"Oh, great...Now I have to take orders from that quiet little mouse..." Jim muttered under his breath before walking over to his new team.

"For Viktor's next girl pick, Viktor wants fellow Russian!" Viktor grinned as he pointed at Taylor.

"Yes! Woohoo! Sorry, guys, but Viktor's getting all the good ones!" Taylor cheered as she finished off what was left in her vodka bottle and made her way over to her new team.

"I'll choose Cana as my next girl pick." Levi smiled as he pointed at Cana.

"Cool, I can dig that." Cana smiled and gave a thumbs up as she walked over to her new team.

"I-I want...Samantha and her sister as my next girl...Or girls in this case..." Clover sheepishly giggled as the jester walked over to her new team.

"Yippie! We're going to have so much fun together, I just know it!" Samantha beamed.

"For Viktor's next guy pick, Viktor chooses Roman soldier!" Viktor grinned as he pointed at Remus, who happily joined his new team.

"That was a wise decision you made, hardened general! With a Roman warrior like myself in your legion, we will be sure to fight our way to victory in every trial that is to come!" Remus beamed at his new captain.

"I want Ashton as my next guy pick." Levi said, pointing at the daredevil. Gretchen proceeded to sign at Ashton that Levi had chosen him for his team, and Ashton nodded and walked over to his new team.

"I-I'll choose...Phillip as the third guy for my team..." Clover spoke as she pointed at Phillip, who happily joined his new team.

"Thanks, babe! We're going to be the best team ever! Woooohoooo!" Phillip cheered loudly, causing Clover to cringe due to her sensitive hearing.

-Confessional: Clover-

"If Phillip is going to be on my team for a while, I think I'm going to have to ask him to tone down his loud speaking voice a bit, since I have pretty sensitive hearing, so Phillip's loud speaking voice could prove to be harmful to my ears...You might be wondering why I picked him if he has a loud speaking voice and I have sensitive hearing? W-Well, every team needs a mood maker, and Phillip seems to fit that role perfectly, so that's why I picked him for my team..." Clover explained as she tapped her foot on the floor of the confessional.

-End Confessional-

"As for Viktor's next girl pick, Viktor has decided he wants the athletic girl!" Viktor grinned as he pointed at Melissa, and the Filipino teen walked over to her team without any objections.

"Thanks. I'll do my best to be of assistance to this team during the team phase." Melissa told Viktor with a smile.

"For my next girl pick, I'll choose Becky." Levi smiled as Becky sighed and got up before walking over to her new team.

"If any of you other captains end up choosing Olive as your next girl pick, I'll break your fucking legs." Becky threatened the other captains.

Clover became nervous upon hearing that. "O-Okay...In that case, I'll choose...Rina as my next girl pick." The ASMRtist said as she pointed at the soprano.

"That was a wise decision, mon ami. We will show the other teams what we are made of in the challenge that will be ahead of us." Rina gave Clover a warm smile as she walked up to her. Clover smiled back and nodded at the soprano.

"For Viktor's final guy pick, Viktor wants that guy." Viktor grinned as he pointed at Juno.

"Really? You want me for your team? Well, I'm not complaining, so I'll happily join you." Juno smiled as he ran over to join his new team.

"For my final guy pick, I want to choose Joshua." Levi smiled as he pointed at the skateboarder.

Joshua gave a lazy grin at the blogger. "Hey, that's awesome, dude! I hope I can bring this team a laid back vibe and get us to mellow like a cello, y'know?" The skateboarder replied as he walked over to his new team.

"W-Well, I have two guy picks left, so for my next guy pick, I want...Chander." Clover pointed at the circus artist.

"Oh, thank you, thank you, thank you! With me on your team, we'll be putting on some amazing performances during the challenges!" Chander beamed as he proceeded to join his new team.

"For Viktor's next girl pick, Viktor wants tall screamo girl!" Viktor grinned as he pointed at Olive.

"But I don't want to be on a team without Becky!" Olive frowned.

"I'm gonna beat you so badly, your children will be born bruised!" Becky angrily shouted at Viktor as Levi and Rowan proceeded to hold her back.

"Hey! Leave the children out of this, alright? It's unnecessary!" Rowan told Becky.

"Yeah, calm down, Becky." Levi chimed in.

"Viktor made his decision and Viktor's decision is final." Viktor grinned and folded his arms in front of his chest as Olive walked over to her new team with pain in her chest.

-Confessional: Olive-

"Man, it really stinks that I'm not on the same team as Becky...But I'm sure it'll work out! After all, I'm sure I'll be able to make some really good friends on my new team, and at least I get to hang out with Becky when there isn't a challenge being played, so it'll work out!" Olive said with an optimistic smile.

-End Confessional-

-Confessional: Becky-

"That Viktor guy better sleep with one eye open at all times, because sooner or later he will pay for taking my sister away from me..." Becky angrily growled.

-End Confessional-

-Confessional: Viktor-

"Much like Viktor's decision to separate the twins, Viktor's decision to separate the sisters was purely strategic. Like twins, sisters being on the same team as each other could cause trouble down the line, hence why Viktor chose to separate the sisters. Viktor's prepared for any eventuality, as you can see."

-End Confessional-

Once Becky had calmed down enough for Levi and Rowan to let go of her, Levi looked back at the room for his next girl pick. "Well, I still have two girl picks left, so for my next girl pick, I'm going with...Letty." Levi spoke as he pointed at Letty.

"Danke. I'm certain I vill be able to contribute to ze team in ze challenges ahead of us." Letty smiled as she walked over to her new team.

"A-As for my final girl, I-I'll choose Ingrid." Clover smiled as Ingrid walked over to her new team.

"Thank you. I promise I won't let the team down, like, at all." Ingrid assured Clover with a creepy smile, which unnerved the ASMRtist a bit.

"As for Viktor's final girl pick, Viktor wants the short stack." Viktor grinned as he pointed at May.

"I guess I am a bit on the short side compared to you, yeah...Thanks for picking me for your team though...I'll do my best to contribute wherever I can..." May lazily laughed before slowly walking over to her team. How she managed to see anything with her hair covering her eyes was a mystery.

"My final girl pick will be Sabrina." Levi then spoke as he pointed at Sabrina who went to join her team.

"You're lucky you got me as your final pick. With me on this team, we'll be able to crush everyone in our path!" Sabrina grinned as she pounded her fist in her hand.

"I-I suppose that leaves Jacque as my final guy pick then..." Clover sheepishly giggled as Jacque walked over to his new team.

-Confessional: Jacque-

"Eh, I'm not worried about being picked last. All that taboo about being picked last and the curse that comes with that is all a bunch of baloney. I'll show ya that being picked last can actually work in one's favor." Jacque gave a sleazy grin at the camera as he had his hands behind his head and his legs crossed.

-End Confessional-

"Alright, the teams 'ave been completed! Now all that's left ta do is fer the captains o' the newly appointed teams ta pick their respective team names! As with the schoolyard pickin', Viktor gets ta go first!" Robert announced as he gave Viktor another pat on the back.

"Team Alpha!" Viktor grinned as a "ding!" noise could be heard and a yellow team logo of the Greek letter Alpha appeared on the screen.

"Hey, Wood-For-Brains! Did you even watch Total Drama: World Tour? Naming your team after a synonym for winning is bound to bring bad luck to said team!" Gerald told Viktor with a scowl.

"Viktor will name his team however he pleases! And besides, the only reason why Team Victory sucked as hard as they did is because they had DJ on their team, and DJ fucked Team Victory over because of his animal curse that he got from knocking over that mummified cat in Egypt! As long as we don't have any of our team members knocking over cursed objects and getting cursed themselves in the process, our team should be clear of any taboo surrounding synonyms for winning!" Viktor explained to him.

"Well, don't be surprised if our team does end up sucking as hard as Team Victory did." Gerald grumbled as he folded his arms in front of his chest.

It was then Levi's turn to name his team. "Team Celtic!" Levi spoke as another "ding!" noise could be heard and a green team logo of a triquetra knot appeared on the screen.

"Goin' with an Irish name in an Irish themed season? I like it. Yer a smart cookie, lad." Patrick grinned as he gave Levi a pat on the shoulder.

"What can I say? When there's a theme to go along with the season, we might as well have a team name to go along with the season theme, am I right?" Levi smiled.

Finally, it was Clover's turn. "U-Uh...Team...Team...I don't know..." Clover pondered out loud before a "ding!" noise could be heard and a blue team logo of a question mark appeared on the screen. The camera then turned to Stanley standing next to Meghan, who was holding up another camera.

"Team I Don't Know! Best team name in the world!" Stanley laughed upon having decided the team name for Clover as Meghan smacked him upside the head. "Ow!" Stanley exclaimed.

"Eh, why the heck not? We'll leave Team C as Team I Don't Know just fer the amusement factor." Gretchen chuckled as she seemed to just go along with the ordeal. "Well, that concludes the team selection! We'll be goin' forward with these teams! Fer now, yer free ta do as ye like fer the rest o' the day, an' tomorrow, we'll be playin' the first challenge!" Gretchen announced as all the contestants began to leave the dining hall, leaving Robert, Patrick and Gretchen by themselves.

"An' with that, we've come ta the end o' the first episode o' Season 5 o' Total Drama! We got ta meet the 30 contestants that will be fightin' it out fer the million dollar prize o'er the summer, an' we got 'em sorted into their new teams!" Robert spoke with a smile.

"Aye, an' in the next episode, we'll be playin' the first challenge with the newly formed teams, an' we'll also be seein' our first contestant leave the competition! Which team will come out victorious in the first challenge? Which team will be the first ta attend the dreaded elimination ceremony? An' who will be the first contestant ta join our resident military cadet Raphael in the Saracen o' Shame?" Patrick continued.

"Find out next episode on..." Gretchen added before the three hosts once again spoke in unison.

"Total...Drama...Luck o' the Irish!" The three hosts finished as the first episode ended.
