Chapter 61
Margarita came into Hannibal's office. Her brow raised as she saw him grabbing his keys that were on his desk. "Hannibal, where are you planning on going?" She questioned crossing her arms.
Hannibal looked up at his wife. "Will took off with Abigail."
Margarita let out a soft breath before pinching her nose. "You think they went back to Minnesota?"
Hannibal let out a soft breath. "That's where Will said he was going to do."
"You think Will took her to do what? Kill her?" She questioned her brow raising, nibbling her lower lip between her teeth.
"I don't know what he was planning on doing."
"I'm coming with you." She said looking at him with a determined look upon her face.
Hannibal looked into her green eyes seeing the flash of defiance. He knew that his wife was going to be rather stubborn. "What about Mischa?"
"Babysitter." She pointed out as she moved to exit the office.
"You want your friend to watch her?"
Margarita nodded her head. "Either that or drop her off at my parents home."
"Which would be easier?"
Margarita pursed her lips together thinking of what to do. "My parents would probably be the best."
Hannibal nodded his head. "We'll take her to your parents home."
Margarita nodded her head slowly. "Alright. Let's just hope Will didn't harm her."
"I don't think Will has it in him to kill her."
"We don't know that Hannibal. He was coming unhinged, you saw that during the entire time that you saw him." Margarita said as she moved towards the door.
Hannibal followed her out the door knowing that his wife was rather determined and it was one of the best qualities of his wife knowing how determined she was for things.
HANNIBAL
Hannibal and Margarita stood in the Hobbs Kitchen waiting patiently for Abigail to show up knowing it wouldn't take the teenager too long to show up back home.
Abigail slowly walked into the kitchen startling herself seeing Hannibal and Margarita standing against the counter. She immediately ran into Hannibal's arms for a huge hug. "What are you doing here?"
"I was worried about you. Will told me he was taking you to Minnesota. I strongly advised against it." Hannibal said as he gently released the hug, looking Abigail in the eyes. "Where is Will, Abigail?"
"I left him at the cabin. I didn't feel safe with him. So I left him." She pursed her lips together not liking the idea of Will knowing everything. "He knows everything."
"So does Jack Crawford."
Abigail's mind spun, her options were narrowing quickly. She hadn't thought of Jack finding out about it. "If I run, they'll catch me, won't they. You can't protect me anymore."
Margarita crossed her arms as she looked at the teenager. "They'll arrest you when they find you. They'll arrest Will, too." She said calmly as she raised her brow slightly.
Abigail looked at the two adults. "Did he kill Marissa?"
"They will believe he did. They will believe he killed others, too." Hannibal said rather calmly as he looked at Abigail.
Abigail stared at Hannibal awareness dawning on her finally. "Will always said whoever called the house that morning was the serial killer. Why did you really call?"
"I wanted to warn your father that Will Graham was coming for him."
"Why?"
Margarita crossed her arms as she watched Abigail slowly coming to realize what was really going on. It was something that sent a thrill through her. It was something that Hannibal always ended up doing to her. A slow smile crept upon her face. She knew that Hannibal was going to do everything in his power to protect their family and he wasn't going to let some teenager ruin the life that he had created with his wife, three year old daughter, and child on the way. She knew that Hannibal was willing to protect it all and blame it all on Will and she knew even though she was Will's friend, her family was much more important. Her work wasn't important, nor was Will, or Alana, or Abigail, their family was.
"I was curious what would happen. I was curious what would happen when I killed Marissa. I was curious what you would do."
A wave of near nausea washed over her and she pushed it down. "You wanted me to kill Nick Boyle."
"I was hoping. I wanted to see how much like your father you were."
"Oh My God."
"Nicholas Boyle is more important for you gutting him. He changed you. That's more important than the life he clamored after."
"How many people have you killed?" Abigail said tears were coming to her eyes threatening to fall.
"Many more than your father."
The tears fell down her cheeks as she realized what she could only dare ask the man before her with his wife standing right behind him. "Are you going to kill me?"
Hannibal gently stroked her cheek. "I'm so sorry, Abigail. I'm sorry I couldn't protect you in this life."

This is the end of Chapter 61 and the end of Episode 12. We only have 5 chapters left which will finish this book up. I'm starting to get a little emotional knowing that this story is coming to a close. We're starting to see a new side of Margarita, she's starting to show a bit of her true colors don't you think? She's starting to show that she is indeed almost as sociopath and psychopath just like her husband. Please leave a review and let me know what you think. Reviews help me keep going when it comes to writing chapters out as well as any story that I work on. I will hopefully update next week on Friday. Until next time.
