Eon: Do you recall the moment when Strykore was defeated, well I had help for that. It was nearing what looked like the end of the war, until help arrived from another world, Samus Aran. The most powerful woman I've ever seen, she could see the torment Skylands has been put through from Strykore's wrath and she agreed to help us. Hardly ever lost a battle, when she fought against Strykore she barely even took a scratch, a true heroine she was.

Dawson: But while she may have ended their war, her's still continued as Ridley followed her here, picking up where Strykore left off. She fought many Arkeyans Ridley had managed to persuade to help him. Once Samus confronted Ridley for the final time and defeated him, she then noticed something Ridley left behind, a single dragon egg. Ridley knew his time was coming to a close, but that doesn't mean someone could continue his legacy. Once she collected the egg Samus entrusted it to Eon, hoping someday a very dragon would clear Ridley's name, that very dragon happened to be Spyro.

Jet-Vac: But what about you Dawson?

Dawson: After Samus entrusted the egg to Eon she had visions, one day there would be someone more powerful than she could take on. That's when Spyrus Light found her, he took her to his base hidden within the Academy dorms, he explained to Samus that when her metroid powers came back not only did she regain those but also the memories of certain metroids, hince the visions. Someday there would be a metroid more powerful than they have ever seen, the Metroid Shearer. The name alone stands for the ultimate warrior of unlimited potential, however this being cannot be controlled by any means necessary as this metroid could think for itself, if its intentions are good it will bring light to all darkest hours, if evil then nightmares would become reality. Over time Samus would venture to many planets, until she eventually discovered Earth, my homeworld. There she had a family of her own and throughout the ages none of her descendants would have skills like Samus would, until my birth came around. Once he found me Spyrus light could sense the metroid blood in my body, he then took me under his wing and I was granted a spell that once I returned to Earth I would start aging once again. Before this time he trained me seeing if I was as capable as Samus once was, before I left he could finally understand it, I was like Samus in almost every way possible and it was this knowledge that he finally began to see that I...am the Metroid Shearer.

Eruptor: Wait wait wait, are you telling me you are the most powerful being to ever exist?

Dawson: It would appear to be so, but it seems I have a long way to go if I am to achieve that level of strength. If Strykore has returned then he must be stopped at all costs. Skylanders to your stations, I will meet up with as soon as I can.

Dark Hunter HQ

Sage: Dawson...is it time?

Dawson: Indeed, is the enhancement ready.

Sage: Per your instructions.

Dawson stepped onto the portal waiting for him to receive something.

Dawson: Activate Shearer Suit MK.2!

Dawson's suit transformed, it combined the abilities of the core Skylander team. The suit was an alloy that combined the Mk.1 with Spyro's indestructible scales. Underneath the lower part of his arms were blades that were as if not stronger than Stealth Elf's, they could pop out any time on command and this increased his melee attack. His morph ball mode resembled one of Eruptor's fireballs, his power beam was also combined with the power of said fireball as well increasing the strength of his power beam further. Jet-Vac's vacuum gun strength was put into the boosters of his suit strengthening his speed and mobility. Pop Fizz's alchemy allowed him new ways to use his elemental abilities.

Sonic: (Whistles) Wow! remind me to never get on your bad side, you look like you could take on a whole army and come out without a scratch.

Eggman: I have to agree with Sonic there, that suit looks like it has some pretty impressive tech.

Dawson: Time to take the fight to Strykore, open that hatch.

Sage activated the portal.

Dawson: FIRE IN THE HOLE!

Kaos' Castle

Dawson: Looks like the Skylanders are ahead of me.

Amy: Dawson, it appears there are corrupters in your area.

Dawson: I've got a visual. Looks like I need to save the Skylanders before they get clapped. Boys it's time to open up a can of butt whooping!

So he fought every corrupter in his way blasting and slashing his way through their forces until he made his way to the main castle doors. He then put on his visor that covered his face in the shape of an X. As soon as Dawson saw him, he blasted Strykore twice then used his saber slash beam on him and therefore stunning him.

Dawson: Head back to the academy, I'll hold them off.

Without saying another word they departed. Leaving Dawson alone with Strykore and Kaos. Kaos tried to strike him with his powered up bolts of lightning.

Dawson: Your lightning abilities have no effect on me Kaos. Special alloy made with some of Spyro's old scales. As for you Strykore, you've got a lot of nerve to take Spyro's light. Even after I told you to heave my warning.

Strykore: I won't allow you to leave, not until your light is removed.

Dawson was in Strykore's grip, but somehow the light from him couldn't be removed. But it did awaken something within him, the yellow of his hazel eyes turned red, and his hand surged from an unknown energy. Dawson used this newfound power and broke Strykore's grip.

Strykore: How did you escape my grip, that's impossible!

Dawson: My ancestor was the one who defeated you in the first place.

Dawson gave Strykore a taste of his own medicine and sucked some of the life energy out of him and then threw him to the wall once he was done.

Dawson: And I will do the same, but not now. Maybe this will teach you a lesson for not taking my warning seriously.

Just like that he was gone once he teleported out of there.

Kaos: What was that power he just released?

Strykore: Metroid powers. Used by the very same person who brought me to my knees, Samus Aran.

Kaos: Dawson's ancestor.

Strykore: I can see why you respect him now. For he is the most powerful being, the Metroid Shearer.

Skylanders Academy

Dawson then was teleported back to the academy.

Eon: What happened back there Dawson? It looks like you've may as well suced the life out of someone.

Dawson: I did...partially.

He then showed the energy that surged from his hand.

Stealth-Elf: Eon, what is this surging through his hand.

Eon: The powers of a race that has been lost to time, the powers of a metroid.

Spyro's Dorm

Dark Spyro: So, his metroid powers have finally awaken.

Strykore: Yes. Your thoughts about him have been right, he is the Metroid Shearer

Dark Spyro: If he knows what happened tom now then he must be destroyed before he can inform the Skylanders.

Strykore: NO! There's a reason why he hasn't lost a battle and never will.

Dark Spyro: "Those who are his enemies, their dreams will never come true". What about sucking his light?

Strykore: Can't, his powers act as a shield from the darkness, he "Cannot be controlled in any way", what's more is that his powers are stronger than that of the darkness itself, when the darkness gets stronger he does too. Keep an eye on that kid.

And with that Srykore's head faded out.

?: Don't listen to him

Dark Spyro: Who's there?

?: A friend.

Dark Spyro: What do you want.

?: Your goals and mine are the very same young one.

Dark Spyro: And that is?

?: Destroy Dawson, the last metroid to ever exist.

Dark Spyro: How?

?: Find your true strength, only then will you have the power to destroy him. Whenever you do that come and look for me, I'll be waiting.
