I goofed up y'all...I goofed up big time...
So I was writing the newest chapter in Smash Life, chapter 382, which was supposed to be about Advance Wars (and to a lesser extent, Minecraft Legends). But on Thursday evening, when I checked the video game release schedule for 2023, I realized something...
...ADVANCE WARS: REBOOT CAMP DOESN'T COME OUT UNTIL NEXT WEEK! I was essentially writing chapter 383 all along! Chapter 382 was meant to be focused on the Mega Man Battle Network collection, which I sadly overlooked. Guess I was that eager to write a chapter pertaining to Advance Wars finally.
So, what does that mean? Chapter 382 will be delayed until next week when chapter 383 will be published. Fortunately, I finished a huge bulk of chapter 383 - roughly 60-70% of the chapter is done. (I may get carried away writing it though, so that percentage is quite generous.) That means more time on my hands to write chapter 382, which won't be much of a filler episode like chapter 374. Now I did advance the story quite a bit in the Advance Wars chapter, so I'll have to "fill the gaps" so to speak in chapter 382.
It's funny - I had legit planned on taking the week off from writing since I took a week off from my job. I didn't plan on continuing the story until April 21st. But it seems like a cruel, ironic fate that there will be no chapter this week. I am so sorry...but no worries, the show will go on! Just at a later time.
