A/N- helloo readersss, i just thought that i ditched this fic for too long so I'm bACK. because i'm feeling totally insane today, i thought i'd write something with all the seven+ nico, reyna and will. be safe, demigods!

A few hundred demigods were standing in the mess hall at Camp Half-Blood, watching the Praetors and Chiron converse. After a few minutes of discussion, they addressed the crowd. Reyna spread her arms and said, "We at Camp Jupiter are very excited to join Camp Half-Blood for the traditional game of Capture the Flag."

The demigods erupted into chatter.

"The only question is, when do we start?" She asked.

"Well," Chiron said. "It starts after sunset. 7pm, is that right?"

He looked over to Annabeth and Leo, who were designing something to liven up the usual game. They nodded.

"7pm it is!" A murmur of agreement came from the demigods.

Percy went to the front of the mass, and announced the teams. "Children of Hades, Demeter, Apollo, Hecate, Hebe, Hermes, Aphrodite and Poseidon. You will be Team Red. Children of Ares, Athena, Tyche, Hephaestus, Dionsyus, Iris, Hypnos and Nike. You will be Team Blue!"

People started shuffling around to someone who was on their team. The Romans looked confused, as they were left out.

"What about us?" They shouted in disagreement. "We're here too!"

"I was getting on to that," Percy said irritatedly. "Cohort 1,3,5, you're Red. 2 and 4, you're on Blue and you get both the praetors."

They seemed happy with that.

Slowly, people left the hall and went to prepare strategies. Percy walked over to Annabeth, Leo and Reyna.

"Making a plan, Wise Girl?" He said, placing a hand on her shoulder. Annabeth always looked so beautiful when she was studying something.

Not taking her eyes off Leo and Reyna, she swatted his arm away.

"Seaweed Brain, we're on different teams. No spying," She reminded.

Percy pouted. "Does that mean I don't get a kiss?"

"Seaweed Brain, as much as I love you, we have a game to win," Annabeth said. Quickly, she got up and kissed Percy on the cheek. "Is this enough for you?"

"Nope," Percy said. He gave her a proper kiss on the mouth, until Annabeth pulled away.

"Bye Perce," She said, already turned to Leo and Reyna. Percy sighed fondly, and left to find a certain child of Hades, easily the one of the strongest of Team Red.

Nico was in the Infirmary, debating about using his Underworld powers with Will.

"Will, I'm a son of Hades," Nico argued.

"I know that," Will said through his teeth.

"Then you should know that I'm from the Underworld. I've got to use my powers."

"No you don't-" Will huffed.

Nico cut him off. "Doctor's orders, let me guess?"

"I'm saying this stuff for a reason, Nico! Stop being so stubborn," Will said agitatedly.

"I'm not being stubborn, I'm being truthful! You can't stop me, and you won't!"

Nico stormed out of the Infirmary without another word. Sighing, Will forlornly scribbled a patient's medication on his clipboard.

The wind hit the son of Hades face as he set off, heading to the mess hall. There was an assembly about Capture the Flag that purposely missed to be with Will, so he needed to catch up on the teams.

A voice called his name in the distance.

"Nico, hey Nico!" It was Percy, coming closer to him.

"Hi," Nico said quietly. After having an argument with his significant annoyance, talking to his old crush was not what he wanted.

"We should make a plan, you know? Strategies," Percy said.

"We're on the same team?" Nico asked. "Who else is with us?"

"We are Team Red and, um, we've got Hazel, Cohorts 1, 3 and 5, Aphrodite, Hermes, Demeter, Hecate, Apollo, Hebe," Percy counted on his fingers. Nico looked behind, where the faint line of the infirmary could be seen when Percy said Apollo. He felt bad that he fought with Will, but, really he should be able to shadow travel and summon skeletons. Nico wasn't weak.

"Oh," Nico said. "The other team is pretty strong. Ares, Athena... and what about Reyna and Frank?"

"Team Blue," Percy answered. "But because we have Hecate, we can use the Mist better. And Hermes, well, you get the idea."

Nico got the idea very well. A sudden image of Reyna tripping over some Mist-hidden rope sprang to his mind. And if one of the leaders were down, there would be a weakness to exploit.

"Percy, I think I've got a plan."

An hour and a half passed, and the ombre sky turned shades of pink, peach, orange and violet. It was breathtaking, but the demigods couldn't admire it now. Capture the Flag was beginning.

Chiron stepped forward, dropping his blanket and revealing his four legs. "Now, Camp Jupiter and Camp Half-Blood, we will now go over the rules."

A silence descended on the crowd, who were busy talking about the game a moment ago.

Mr D cleared his throat. "The rules are really important, kids. Break one, and you might end up like me if Zeus is watching..." His voice trailed off as he muttered salty words to his father.

"Well, thank you for those- positive words, Mr D," Chiron said. "Don't murder, kill, or go out into the deep part of the forest. First team who captures the other team's flag and gets it to their base wins. Be safe! The medics are over here!" He pointed to a green tent to the left. "And with that, we shall begin!"

A large horn sounded, signalling the start.

Demigods of all shapes and sizes ran to get in the discussed positions. Nico grabbed his Stygian Iron sword and bolted, not too far behind Percy. Catching up with him, Nico nodded to him. "You distract. I'll shadow-travel."

"Yep. Take it easy, Nico-" Percy began, but the son of Hades was nowhere to be seen.

At the Team Blue base, Leo was setting out traps. They could be set off with the tiniest movement if you didn't have the protector, which all Team Blue's had. It was an anklet that radiated heat and stopped the minor explosion.

"All done, Reyna!" He called to the Praetor, who was hiding behind the small hill which contained their flag.

"Great," She said quickly. "I think I can hear something."

There was a rustling of branches, and from the bushes, out came a huffing Percy. Leaves were stuck in his jet black hair as he sprinted away from what appeared to be Clarisse La Rue.

"Come back here, Water Princess!" She spat. "Let me get you back for that toilet sludge!"

"Toilet sludge?" Percy said laughing. He pointed to a puddle of fresh blue water. "I think this is pretty clean."

Reyna could tell what would happen. Percy was going to use the water to get above them, and straight to the hill. Quickly, she leaped out of her hiding spot and before Percy could use his powers, used her spear as a pole and landed right in front of him, splashing the water so he couldn't summon it as easily.

"So now you show up," Clarisse said. "This little punk had me running all over the forest."

As discreetly as possible, Reyna shot her an angry look. "Is now the time?"

"Yep."

Growling in irritation, she turned to deal with Percy.

Percy, who was already halfway up the hill. Reyna couldn't waste anymore time. Capture the Flag was easy compared to war games: what would the legionnaires say if the Praetor's side lost?

Holding up her spear like a sharp javelin, she followed the son of Poseidon.
