Kaitlyn sat across from Dionysus in the big house.

"Is... is this a joke or something, because it isn't funny!"

"No, child, this is not a joke, it is quite serious," said the man- Chiron- in a wheelchair who claimed to be a centaur.

"Then... then it's a dream!"

"That is quite possible, child, but if it is you will still end up here eventually."

"What sort of messed up freakshow place is this?" she snapped.

"A demi-god camp, like I told you." said Grover who was standing in a corner. "You gonna eat that coke can?"

I stared.

"Well?"

"Er... no..."

"Can I have it?"

"... um... okay?"

"Thanks!" he grabbed it and began chewing away.

"Is... is he eating an alluminum can?"

"Yes, he is, but we need to focus on the task at hand, who sent you here?"

"My dad."

"Okay... so you are half goddess."

"Oh... I've got it: I'm half human... and half HUMAN!" she cried.

Chiron sighed.

"I know it's alot to take in, Kaitlyn, but you need to be serious, Grover take her to the Hermes cabin."

Kaitlyn warily followed Grover.

WAKE UP!

The thought desperately, pinching herself.

Grover smiled slightly.

"Kaitlyn... sorry but... I don't think you're dreaming... come on," he led her to a cabin that was VERY full.

"Can't I sleep somewhere else... how about with them?" she pointed to a group of Aphrodite's daughters whispering on the steps of their cabin.

"No."

"Why? I bet they have more room than this cabin does!"

"But you can't."

"Says who?"

"You aren't a daughetr of Aphrodite."

Kaitlyn ran off towards the big house.

"Chiron, I want to move into a different cabin," she crossed her arms stepping into the room where Chiron sat, now with a very fat man.

"Go away, half-blood," grumbled the man. "You can't change until you've been claimed."

"Claimed?"

Chiron jumped in.

"Your mom will send a sign that she is your parent and you will be moved to her cabin."

Suddenly both the man and Chiron were starting at her hands, whih were neatly holding each other.

Kaitlyn looked and screamed.
